Chapter 1518 Suspicious Snake Oil

At the town Mila and Draco arrived to talk to a client, a contract explained something that's been happening to his wife and they got curious.
They were at his house and the man said: "Good your both here."
"What seems to be the problem?" Mila asked.
"It's my wife, she's been taking this lotion and the more she takes her skin cracks. She's also been strange and has changed, she hasn't come home in days now." He said.
Draco frowns. "Hmm, is there any lead?"
"There is this seller that's selling the stuff, she's at the south part of town. I'm sure she's behind it."
"Well let's check it out." Mila said.
Draco nodded and they went out, the two headed towards the south part and saw many tents, one was a woman with violet hair, tan skin and red nails. She's also wearing a outfit that resembles a belly dancer.
They looked at each other and Mila said: "It's her."
The two went to see her and she said: "Well welcome to my shop. Would you like to try one of our lotions?"
"Oh sure." Mila said.
Draco checks and takes one before paying it. 'This might be important to check.'
"Say I heard a woman has been missing, she's been coming here do you know where she went?" Mila questions her.
She just smiles. "I'm sorry, i've been so busy. I don't know who this woman is. I've even opened up my own spa and resort. Just south out of town. It's a very exlusive club i'll have you know. Only for the best."
Draco looks. "I see. How does one enter it?"
"Well since your working to investigate, I could offer you both free memberships." She gives them both cards. "I'll be waiting." The woman goes away.
"Okay looks like we're checking that resort." Mila said.
"Be careful once we get there." He said.
Mila nodded and they went to the resort the woman mentioned. Once they arrived they saw two guards at the entrance with a building behind them. Inside the area was a couple of tents for some of the guests to stay.
They went up to the guards and they showed the cards.
"Oh welcome." They moved out of the way for them.
The two entered the area and Draco looks around to see a couple of women and men walking around.
"So this is where the man's wife could be at." Draco said.
They went inside the building and saw the seller and she saw them. "Oh good that you both arrived." She looks at the desk where a worker was. "Please give them the papers to sign."
"Of course." The lady nodded.
The seller goes off to the other room and the two got forms to fill out, they went to the waiting room and signed the forums.
Draco looks at the bathrooms. "Be right back."
She nodded and he goes inside, he looks around and Draco noticed another oil inside the trash bin before taking it out.
"It's still full." He said.
Draco wonders why did they throw out this stuff, he opens a small portal and sends it through it along with the one he bought.
He goes out and they handed the papers to the woman.
"Thank you, now please come to the other room." She points to the opposite side.
The two went there and saw a curtain with a worker there, she leads them inside and Draco thinks. 'Theres more women here than men.'
They went on two beds on opposite sides and Mila was wearing a robe with Draco shirtless on the other bed, Mila was blushing since this was too close to Draco.
"I'll be right back to attend to you both." The worker goes off.
The two looked at each other and Mila said: "We gotta take this chance."
"Yeah." He puts on his shirt.
She goes to a dressing room and came back in her uniform. "Good thing they had one."
They went out to check the tents and looked for where the woman might be. Draco looks inside one and saw a woman with a ponytail on the ground with a ring on her finger.
"I found her." He said.
Mila came and they checked on her. "What happened to her?"
"What's... Happening." The woman said.
She then gets up and changes with her lower half becoming a snake tail.
"What?!" They said.
Another lamia came out and smiles. "Well it seems you found out."
"They're lamias!" Draco frowns.
"We turn other women into one of us." The older said.
"Yes, we'll kill the man and turn the woman into one of us." The newborn said.
They attacked them but Draco freezes them in ice.
"Wow that was fast." Mila said.
"Snakes are cold blooded along with Lamias, they don't die right away for being part human but they can't escape." Draco goes out.
They went out and saw more lamias roaming around.
"The entire guests got turned into them." Mila said.
"We gotta find her." Draco said and they went inside the building as they pass by blood splats on the ground.
It seems the men working and were invited were killed by the lamias. They went through a hallway as many lamias came out to attack them but Draco freezes them completly stopping the women on they're tracks.
"They're just keep coming." Mila knocks one back.
"Yes, it's best to avoid killing them if there is a cure for this." He said.
They went down a staircase and arrived a room, they saw the woman who was now a lamia next to glowing stones.
"Oh welcome." She looks at them.
"So these stones are responsible for the changes." Draco said.
"Yes, these are the tumwih stones, my family taught me how to use them. So I will make sure to bring my race." She said.
"What is your name?" Draco got ready for a fight.
"I'm Nefertari, and soon your girlfriend will be one of us."
"Hey!" Mila blushes.
She lunges at them throwing poison and they dodged it, Draco then shoots a ice blast making her dodge as it freezes the wall behind her.
"Ice? So that's what your doing, freezing me." She frowns.
"Snakes don't do well with the cold." Draco said.
"Yes, Lamias have a similar weakness." Nefertari frowns.
She lunges at them to bite the group and they avoided her bite, she goes to attack Draco but he blocks her bite with the handle of his scythe, she grunted as it was in her mouth.
Nezuko came out and kicks her away.
"Nezuko!" He smiles.
Nefertari saw her. "A demon?!"
Draco and Mila took a chance and striked her making the lami screech before she got frozen solid with her head exposed.
"So this is the end." She frowns.
"What is the cure?" Mila said.
"Cure? There is no such thing, they'll live as Lamias forever, maybe this will be the first step for monster and humans to live together." Nefertari said.
They got surprised to what she said.
"But why did you go with killing the men?" Draco said.
"I can't turn a man into a lamia." She said.
Leonidas appeared and Mila got stunned. "Huh?"
"Let's go. He'll handle it." Draco takes Mila.
"But..." She looks back.
Leonidas looks at Nefertari. "So your the one that is turning them. I must say your lotion was something I was studying."
"He gave me samples to you." She said.
"Yes, but I think your a very interesting woman." He smiles and changes into his second cursed mark stage.
She got surprised before smiling with a blush. "Well hello handsome."
He smiles as he takes Nefertari with him, he does find her to be a attractive woman.
Leonidas managed to break the hold on the others and they went back home, they return to the client's house and he was stunned to see what happened to his wife.
"Honey?" He said.
"Yes dear, it must surprise you." She looks down.
"No, in fact it makes you even more attractive." He blushes.
Draco and Mila got surprised. "Huh?"
His wife blushes and hugs him with her tail wrapped around him. "Oh darling."
"Uh excuse me." Draco said.
"Oh right." He pays them. "Thank you for your work."
They nodded before leaving.
"Well at least he still loves her." Draco said.
"Yeah." Mila nodded.
Draco doesn't even want to know what Leonidas is doing with that snake woman. Since he got too excited knowing about her.
Note: Draco and Mila had to deal with Lamias as the woman were stuck in those forms, while Nefertari got sent to Leonidas.
