Sarah arrived early to Chuck's second attempt at a first date with her. The second first date, as she called it. As a result, everything changed from that point on.

A one-shot story set in the middle of Episode 12, Season 3 "Chuck vs the American Hero", when Chuck confronted Sarah after completing his Red Test and receiving his CIA badge and his orders to go to Rome. After one final rejection from the woman he loved, Chuck, tired of it all, finally decides to throw in the towel and give up the fight.

Casey arrives in the warehouse early enough to see Sarah kiss Chuck in front of the Bryce bomb. What subsequently happens, feels like the end for our favorite couple.
