Hello guys!
I've decided to make this story due to friend's recommendation to watch the anime and I love playing yugioh but never watched the anime too much but overall, this pairing gives me an idea for this story and I kinda like seeing the two together in a way so basically a win win kinda thing
So for now, I just make this the prologue and the summary and the other details can wait for the next chapter since I have barely enough imagination on how to start the story or some readers might already know the summary by reading this prologue, and if they do and think the story is kinda boring, I'm very sorry
Now then, Yusei X Sherry story, been thinking a lot of how to start it off but this is the best I can give
I'm not really good with the whole duel scenario so please forgive me in advance and I hope you all will enjoy the story, thank you very much
Upon the city known as Neo Domino city. it was a very large yet advanced city where technology seems to prosper.
We turn our attention to a large and tall multinational company building that is in the shape of three skyscraper buildings that are connected to each other. The corporation's main logo is a Lily flower with the words 'LeBlanc Foundation' man on the center building.
Inside, there are hundreds of employees just walking around doing their paperwork, contacting consumers and buyers, signing contracts, and counting money that they had produced over the hour.
The office is always loud with the sound of people talking, walking around back and forth; pen scribbling on papers, fingers tapping keyboard keys, and phones ringing repeatedly even after being answered and hanged up. This corporation seems to be flourishing and very busy.
"The CEO is coming!" a man called out loudly as the employees worked faster and harder when a woman came walking pass the window of the office and just walks pass it.
The head CEO and founder of the corporation is a young woman who is named Sherry LeBlanc. She has long blonde waist length hair, her eyes are emerald, and her overall appearance is wearing a highly expensive looking black and red business suit.
Sherry walks towards an elevator with a few women following behind her as they are her secretaries who keep her schedule, time, and calls when she needed them.
"Madam Sherry, you have a call from the Slim Fashion industry." One of the secretaries spoke to Sherry as they entered an elevator. "They wish to have you as one of their models for next week's fashion spree."
"Deny it." Sherry replied with a bit of a cold tone as she presses the 1st floor button. "That fashionist pig must be thinking that I'm his role model as always. Deny any more calls from him in the future! And prepare a warrant against him if he tries to come and make an appointment with me!"
"yes, as you wish." The secretary replied while making a call.
"Madam Sherry, I have been informed that the company's economic income has been increased by 4% thanks to our branch company overseas." Another secretary spoke out while holding a phone that has a call connected. "they wish to ask for your request on the next action of whether to increase the economic income or not."
"a fool's question!" Sherry stated. "just because our income has been increased by 4%, it doesn't mean anything! Tell them to increase the percentage within a year! I didn't decide to have a branch of my company there just because of a whim!"
"yes!" the secretary replied before quickly giving Sherry's message to the caller.
The elevator reached the first floor of the building as the doors slides open and Sherry exited with her secretaries in toll.
The people in the first floor all backed away and bowed to Sherry when she walks pass them as they would greet her with utter respect while she makes her way to the front door that was quickly pushed open by the security guards.
By the front door, a limo was awaiting Sherry as the Driver who is also her trusted Aide and Guardian during her childhood; Mizoguchi stands by while opening the passenger door.
"Madam Sherry, there was a call requesting for your approval in expanding the company's territory over by the south of Neo Domino city." another secretary spoke while Sherry was entering the limo. "What will your request be?"
"The south of Neo Domino City is still being scouted for any potential." Sherry stated before giving a hard glance at her secretaries who squeaks a bit in fear due to how cold their CEO's eyes are. "don't take me for a fool as I was the one who was scouting that area beforehand! Until further notice, there will be no expansion!"
"y-yes!" Sherry's secretaries responded before Mizoguchi closes the door and went his way to the driver seat at front.
The Limo's engine turns on before it drove away from the company's ground and into the city.
Heading up a highway, the Limo passes by a few trucks and cars as it makes its way up to a crossroad which it soon takes the right path and goes down to the east area of Neo Domino City.
"Mizoguchi, head to the bank once we're done with the meeting at Sendango factory" Sherry called out to her aide while in the middle of using a laptop she placed on her lap while typing the keys very fast with her eyes glued to the monitor that showed a pie statistic of income and outcome for her company's funds. "we're going to need to raise the approval of our income with the Bank's CEO."
"as you wish, Milady." Mizoguchi replied before he made a noise and quickly hits the brakes in an instant.
The sudden stop caused Sherry to nearly fall over as she had quickly in reflex holds her place and laptop upon her seat while hearing the sounds of tires exploding.
Once the limo came to a full stop, she looks around before to her driver.
"what happened?" Sherry called out as Mizoguchi checks the side mirrors and then to the rear-view mirrors.
"seems that we have been set with spike traps, Milady." Mizoguchi replied as he exited the window and looks at the back tires that has been exploded because of sharp tire spikes imbedded into them. "the back tires are flattened and destroyed."
Sherry went out as she checks the flat back tires before she caught sight of someone standing on a roof top of a building nearby before disappearing.
"another hitman, huh?" Sherry said while crossing her arms while Mizoguchi calls someone on a phone and we could soon hear the sound of a helicopter coming in just a few minutes before it flew off. "they never learn."
"They have arrested the culprit, Milady." Mizoguchi said to Sherry while handing her his phone that showed a live recording of several military armed taking down a man in black suit and was soon arrested by them before revealing a middle aged man with scars on his face.
"I know this one, I've meet him about a few days back because he wants sell his company that went bankrupted because of corruption." Sherry said while handing back the phone to her aid and then went back to the limo. "have the men take him to jail and apply for a high warrant for attempted assassination, also have a new limo come and pick us up."
"yes, Milady." Mizoguchi replied as he started to make a call.
As they wait for a new limo, Sherry went back to checking her company's income and outcome analysis again on her laptop as her fingers types the keys very fast while her eyes checked the numbers that were rising and falling at the same time.
In just 10 minutes, Sherry finishes her work before she checks the time on her wristwatch as it was almost 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
"Mizoguchi, what is taking that new limo so long?" Sherry called to her aid who stood outside. "our company is only 5kms away from our current position. Did something else happened?"
"please wait, Milady." Mizoguchi replied while taking out his phone and made a call. He spoke on the call before he firms his face a bit and the call had soon ended in just 3 minutes. The butler then turns back to Sherry. "Milady, it would seem that the replacement Limo is under maintenance due to some brake troubles. The driver seems to speculate that it was rigged due to its needed repair a week before."
"I see, that would make sense for those after me to have a contingency plan if their first plan failed." Sherry said before she sighs and looks back at her watch that was soon reaching 1.30 o'clock; a few more minutes before reaching 2 o'clock. "seems that my appointment at the factory needs to be cancelled."
"I shall inform your secretary." Mizoguchi said while bowing a bit before he started to dial on his phone.
Sherry placed away her laptop before she leans back against her seat and then sighs a bit.
'it's tiring to have a rich and busy life that is always getting hunted by unwanted hitmen.' Sherry thought as her company was founded by herself and has flourished very quickly in the years; many were after her, may it be for her money or for herself. 'and here I thought that building a real estate agency would be the life I had wanted' the blonde chuckled to her inner remarks while smiling. 'well… the thrill of having this kind of life isn't that bad sometimes'
Sherry leans back against her seat a bit more before she looks to the side and soon caught sight of an automobile repair shop nearby.
"Mizoguchi" Sherry called out as Mizoguchi came and looks to her pointing at the repair shop. "See if that shop over there can fix our flat tires."
"yes, milady" Mizoguchi replied before he went walking to the automobile repair shop.
Sherry looks at the shop as Mizoguchi came into the shop and soon came out with a middle aged mechanic who checks on the limo before nodding to the aide and then went back inside.
"seems that some work shop started to learn how to fix my limo, huh?" Sherry said as she takes her laptop and started to check on her company's funds again while doing a schedule recheck.
Mizoguchi came back to the Limo with a mechanic behind carrying a toolbox, a scissor jack, and pulling a cart that has four new tires on it.
Sherry checked her income on her laptop as she is too occupied to check the shop worker talking with Mizoguchi before going to work in replacing the limo's tires.
'a donation for an orphanage, huh?' Sherry thought as she looks at an email that is an invitation for a charity event. 'I should just donate money and their needed necessities. This type of event is what usually gets me targeted by some pigs.'
Sherry takes out her phone and started to do an online transaction with her company's money as she transacted a large sum that is to be picked up and soon donated for the orphanage in the charity event. While she was doing so, she felt the limo's back get lifted as she could tell that the automobile shop's mechanic is replacing her vehicle's tires.
"This should be enough." Sherry whispered as she had transacted 1 million dollars from her company's funds for the donation. She then started to do an online shopping for food supplies, beds, and other items that children would need.
Sherry checks and bought all the wanted items as she did all very quickly yet efficiently; but as she did so. She could feel the limo going down as she suspected that the work to replace the flat limo's tires are done.
"That is fast" Sherry said as she took a glance and sees Mizoguchi talking to the mechanic. She checks the person who fixed her limo as she finds out that it was a young man who seems to be in her age. 'this person…' the blonde checks the person as he has black hair with gold highlights in the shape like a crab because of how it is jutting upwards, has royal blue eyes, his physique is muscular for a man in the same age as her, he wears only a black tank top shirt, a blue and red car engineer's outfit suit but the top was not worn because it was tied around the waist possibly because the wearer is sweating, he also wears white and grease smeared gloves, and black boots. 'why do I feel like I've seen him before?'
Sherry checks the mechanic as Mizoguchi paid him before he nodded and then left to go back to the automobile repair shop.
In time, the Limo went back driving the street as Mizoguchi turns to a corner before checking his mistress behind from the rearview mirror. Sherry was currently eying the automobile shop before it was out of sight, and she looks away while checking her phone
"what is wrong, Milady?" Mizoguchi asked her.
"that mechanic who fixed the tires." Sherry said as she is checking photos in her phone. "I feel like I've seen him from somewhere."
"it could be a possible former employee?" Mizoguchi stated as Sherry's company is big and there were times when 20-30 employees got fired over the course of a single month.
"no, his hands seems too rough and not like with that of an employee's hands." Sherry said as she scrolls her photos one by one. 'he seems to be nearly in my age too.' The blonde keeps on checking her phone before she landed on one photo of her doing a charity donation a few years back and she spotted the mechanic in the background. "I found him."
Sherry checks the person as he seems to be the same as the mechanic in every description.
'he couldn't possibly be a business worker because his hands still look rough in this photo.' Sherry mentally noted as she could see that the person's hands were still looking rough but as she checks his hands; she spotted a ring on his left hand's ring finger. 'he's married, huh?'
Sherry checks the man as he sees a name tag on his suit.
"Fudo Yusei, huh?" Sherry said in seeing the person's name. "where have I heard this name before?"
Time passes as night soon came. We turn our attention LeBlanc Foundation building where Sherry had returned and is residing in her head office at the very top.
The office room is filled with luxurious French furniture; from couches to bookshelf. All seems very expensive in so many levels.
Sherry sat by her office table as she is currently immersed in her computer that is calculating the rising income of her company's funds.
"This will do." Sherry said as she finished her work, her gaze is glued to the computer screen that showed the rising stats of her company's stock. "another few years, and I might be able to retire with no worries whatsoever."
Sherry leans back on her chair before she swivels around to look at the back window showing the city during the night.
"as much as this city was beautiful at the first time I've started to build my company…" Sherry muttered out as she smiled a bit. "seems that this scenery would never get old."
Sherry continues to look at the night scenery before she turns as Mizoguchi came walking in the room with a few papers in his hand.
"are those the stock papers that I've requested?" Sherry said while turning around on her chair as Mizoguchi nodded while placing the papers onto the office table. "good."
"milady, there is also a few letters." Mizoguchi stated while taking out a few letters from inside his vest and then handed it to Sherry who checks it.
Sherry reads the names of the letter's senders as she sighs while checking each one and after she checked them all; she scrapped them all up before throwing the scrapped letters to the dustbin nearby.
"I assume that you've read the names before me, Mizoguchi?" Sherry said as she takes the stock papers into her hands.
"yes, Milady." Mizoguchi replied. "what of it?"
"reject any letters from those names in the future." Sherry said while checking the stock papers as she signs a few with a fountain pen. "I've had enough of scummy and worthless men trying to obtain my fortune."
"it will be done, milady." Mizoguchi replied while bowing. "is there anything else?"
"nothing." Sherry stated. "I shall remain here till I return to my home on my own. You are dismissed, Mizoguchi."
"yes, good night Milady." Mizoguchi stated as he bowed once more before he excused himself and left the office.
Sherry immersed herself in her work as the time started to pass.
3 hours later, Sherry is now seen riding the elevator as she just went straight for the basement floor where she has a parked BMW K1200S motorcycle that she rides on.
The motorcycle's engine let out a roar of life as its wheels started to spin fast while bringing Sherry out of her company and into the road.
Sherry rides her vehicle like a pro as she went up the highway lane while passing by cars and trucks very fast.
"This is one of the best thrills that I could've ever asked in life." Sherry spoke with a smile as she just accelerated her motorcycle speed to the point that she passed through the drive lane and to the down city lane. "as much as I could get in trouble with the law, they can't catch me at this speed."
Sherry keeps on riding her motorcycle very fast as she went straight to a mansion.
Arriving in the mansion which is her home, Sherry is in her luxurious bedroom with a purple violet bath gown. The blonde seeming to have taken a night bath as she seems freshened up while drying her hair off.
"Another day of a job well done." Sherry said as she pulls her towel away and then waves her hair around. She went to her mirror as she checks herself to see anything out of the ordinary. "Normal as usual."
Sherry went to her closet as she changed into her nightgown, the blonde went to her bed and sat down by the edge. She takes out her phone and started checking anything that may be of interest to her.
"nothing of the usual." Sherry said before she sees email notifications popping up. She tapped and checks the emails before she sighs while having an annoyed look. "and the same old emails from worthless men."
Sherry keeps on tapping and deleting emails from many men who are asking for a date with her. she deletes and blocks their accounts from ever sending her any invite while doing her best to just ignore each one.
The blonde soon let out a tired sigh as she then fell back and laid on her bed with her hair sprawling around under her. her hand dropped her phone on the violet blanket as she didn't bother to delete and block anymore emails from dozens of men who are trying to ask her out in order to get closer to her money.
"I should just consider not marrying and just adopt a child as my heir." Sherry muttered out with a bored look as she stared at her ceiling for a few minutes before she grabs her phone and checks some news. "There are no longer any decent men around."
Sherry was scrolling emails after emails sent to her from men who wants to ask her out.
As she scrolled through, she finds a different email which was an invitation for a birthday party of an old colleague of hers.
"right, it is going to be her birthday." Sherry said as she checks the invite. "three more days, huh?"
Sherry smiled a bit as she decided to come to the party, she made a reminder of the birthday party on her roster before she placed her phone away and claps her hands twice so that the lights automatically turned off.
The blonde woman then went to sleep as she closed her eyes and just rest for the coming day.
Upon the next morning, Sherry is riding her motorcycle as she drove through the highway street at high speed.
"Milady, there have been numerous calls and messages directed to your phone number and email account." Mizoguchi's voice spoke out in an earpiece that Sherry wears on her right ear and underneath her helmet. "what would you like to do?"
"forward the calls to voicemail and delete them afterward." Sherry replied while driving down a highway's corner. "for the emails; sort them out from the work for the company and from men who are trying to ask me out. once you sorted each one; I would kindly like that you find their locations and send a warrant against them. I had enough of emails from men who are only hungry for my company's money."
"as you wish, milady." Mizoguchi replied before the call was disconnected for Sherry to focus on her ride.
"as expected, the men of these ages are no longer decent." Sherry said as she pulls her throttle and zooms through the streets.
A few minutes passes, Sherry rode her Motorcycle straight to her company but on the way; she had to stop by a traffic light that was red which mean that she had to pull the brakes and wait for it to turn green.
Sherry leans straight as she looks at the watch on her right wrist and sees that it was nearing 9 o'clock.
"I'll arrive there in a few more minutes…" Sherry muttered out before she lowers her hand down and looks at the traffic light that is still red. "I guess I missed my opportunity when the light was still green."
Sherry continues to wait for the traffic light and as she wait; she spotted a little girl who looks to be 3 years old, has short red hair, wears a red and white dress, holds a teddy bear while crossing the street with a few other people.
'that little girl…' Sherry thought as she saw a flashback of her younger self who was a lot similar with the little girl that she is looking at. Seeing this made the blonde rider smile underneath her helmet. 'it's good to see that there are children like her sometimes."
As Sherry watches the little girl crossing the street, she hears a loud motor engine roar from behind as she turns and looks in surprise to see a black motorbike with a rider who is just racing through the street like a maniac.
"yahoo~!" the black motorbike's rider screams out crazy as he went straight down the road while being chased by a few police motorcycles and a police car. "move out or get rolled over, bitches!"
Seeing the assumed police chase; many car and truck drivers that were just waiting still at the traffic lights with Sherry started to honk their horns at the pedestrians crossing the road, telling them to cross faster which they did but for the little girl; she was just pushed back and forth by the people who are just walking against her so fast and caused her to drop her teddy bear that gets stepped on a couple of times.
"hey!" Sherry called out before she gasped in seeing the black bike's rider just racing through some cars and heads straight for the little girl who is picking up her dirtied teddy bear.
As if her instincts kicked in, Sherry throttles her bike's engine as her back wheel spins at full speed and blows out dirt and steam before spinning her machine and flung it straight to the crazed rider's bike while flinging herself to the little girl who she grabbed and then rolls away because the black bike with its rider combined with her motorcycle came flying pass them in an instant.
Sherry now holding the little girl in her arms and are away from harm, looked back and sees that her motorcycle is broken along with the black motorbike while the rider is on the ground a few feet away, seeming unharmed.
The police soon stopped their chase as the ones riding the motorcycles came running in and then apprehended the black motorbike's rider who they soon cuffed while ignoring his shouts and screams of pain.
Sherry looks at them before to the little girl in her arms who is sniffling in tears while looking scared as she clutched her teddy bear in her arms.
"hey, it's alright now." Sherry comforted the little girl as she patted her back a couple of times. "you're safe."
The area was soon become a crime and accident scene as many people came watching by. Some took pictures and just chatters in talking about what had happened.
Sherry is confronted by a police officer who talks to her about what a dangerous stunt that she did and then thanked her for helping them in apprehending the motorbike's crazed rider and for saving the little girl.
"is the little girl your daughter?" the Police officer named Tetsu Ushio asked while holding a notepad and a pen in his hand, the two items being used to get some statements from Sherry who explained what she had done in stopping the chase.
"no, she was one of the pedestrians crossing the road." Sherry replied while still carrying the little girl in her arms. The child sniffles a few times as she shed a few tears that the blonde rider wipes away then turns back to look at the police officer. "she was about to be run over by that mad rider, I saved her from potential death."
"I see." Ushio started to write her words down on his notepad before looking to the little girl with a kind and gentle smile. "alright, sweetheart. I need to know your name, is that ok? If I know your name, I can help you get back to your Mommy and Daddy who are probably worried for you. Can you do that for me?"
"I'm….Hana..and… I don't have a Mama…" the little girl muttered out while continuing to whimper and sniffle a few times as she clutched her teddy bear close. "I only have Papa and Cuddles with me.."
Hearing her words made the two frowns as the little girl doesn't have a mother who they don't know for some reason had left her.
"I see…" Ushio spoke with a frown before he smiles gently. "I'm sorry to ask you about your Mama. Please forgive me, ok?"
The little girl named Hana nodded as if accepting his apology.
"do you have a last name?" Sherry asked gently. "it'll help the police officer find your Papa."
"Fudo…" Hana muttered out. "my Papa said my full name is….Fudo Hana.."
'Fudo?' Sherry thought in her mind while looking a bit surprise at the little girl. 'as in like Fudo Yusei?'
"Hana?! Hana!?" a distressed voice soon came shouting out the little girl's name as Sherry and Ushio turns to see the named man running in while looking extremely worried. "HANA!"
"Papa!" Hana cried out as Sherry gently puts her down and lets her run to the man who opened his arms and then carried her. "Papa!"
"Hana!" Yusei smiles before he kissed Hana's forehead and then holds her close. "I'm so sorry that I didn't got here in time!" The young parent then looks at his child for any injuries. "are you hurt?"
"no." Hana replied with a big smile before she turns and pointed at Sherry. "the nice lady saved me!"
Yusei looks to where she was pointing as Sherry smiles before she fully turns to face Fudo Yusei; the man who she interestedly checked yesterday and was now meeting face to face.
"I'm Sherry LeBlanc." Sherry stated in her introduction to Yusei while holding out a hand to him. "nice to meet you."
