Its planetary system that is located upon the outer spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Mankind roams the planet for millennia.

They evolved, breed, populate, and grew upon the planet for many generations.

Conflict is always present upon mankind who come from different backgrounds.

But on one day..

That all changed when Extraterrestrial life forms called Savages came from outer space.

we turn our attention to a country in Japan that is burning in flames; the buildings were destroyed, screams of terror and panic echoed out, and dead bodies were littered everywhere upon the bloodied land.

A young black haired boy and a young white haired girl ran in the chaos as they were holding hands while trying their best to get to safety. They just ran and ran as far as they could from the echoing blasts of explosions and roars of monsters.

Upon their escape to safety; their path was soon blocked by an explosion.

The two looks in shock as they look upon a large burning smoke in front and could see the greenish yellow glow of a large crustacean like creature emerging from it.

"a….a S-Savage.." the young boy muttered out with a frightened look as he and the young girl started to take several steps back.

The large alien monster growls before it roars while opening its mouth that has energy charging within.

"r-run!" the young boy shouted as he and the young girl started to run away before the Savage unleashed a blast of energy out of its mouth that streams through and destroyed 10 kms of buildings in its path.

Both the young boy and girl were sent flying from the result of the blast's explosion as they were sent flying away from each other.

The Savage growls and then roars as it just caused destruction upon the burning land.

The young boy now dirtied and a bit injured after the explosion came conscious after the blast blow him away; he got up and looks around to see that his female friend is nowhere near him.

He looks around before he hears the Savage's scream as he turns around and his eyes widen to see the young girl trapped in the alien monster's claws while looking lifeless.

"n-no…." the young boy muttered out as he got up with wide eyes. "DON'T!"

The boy screamed before the loud sound of tank cannons were heard and several blasts hits the Savage that screams but then gets a barrage of missiles from incoming military forces.

The Savage screams as in its assault from the military forces; it dropped the young girl to the ground where the young boy quickly held her.

He looks in shock as the young girl has a long bloody cut that runs vertically across her midsection. The young boy looks horrified as he could see a greenish glow coming from the cut; indicating that it was infected by something not of his world.

The chaos in the area continued as the Savage screams while the Military Forces continue to attack it relentlessly to kill it. The young boy looks at his friend before he decided to take out the infection by sucking the blood out of his unconscious friend.

The Savage screams and roars before it fired a blast of energy towards the military forces and instantly destroyed them. The alien creature continues to wreak havoc as it just destroyed buildings and caused explosion everywhere; but that was until it stopped when it sensed something.

The alien creature turns as it soon sees the young boy and young girl on the ground. It looks at the two and saw that the black haired boy placed down his injured friend before standing up and facing the Savage.

It was as if something in the area had changed that cause the Savage to look at the young boy while taking a step back and let out a weak growl.

The young boy faces the alien creature as he slowly lifts his head up and a pair of yellowish gold slitted eyes flashes underneath his shadowed face.

The scene changes as we find a young teenage man waking up from his sleep on an airplane. he opens his red eyes as he glanced to the side and looks at the window of the plane where he sees down below the ocean water before to the other side which is the empty passenger seats as he is the only one on board the air transport.

This young man is Kisaragi Hayato; a 16 year old teenager with spiky black hair and red eyes. He wears a black t-shirt with matching black jeans and a pair of black leather boots. He also wears a black opened overcoat over his attire and wears a necklace with a blackish red prism shaped gem that just shines each time it gets a shine of light.

Hayato rubs his tired eyes as he woke up from his nap because of riding the airplane. the young teenager got up from his seat before he heads to the washroom where he splashes some water to his wet face to wake his senses up.

The young man looks at the mirror hanged in front of the faucet as he stares into his eyes that momentarily turns yellowish gold and slitted for a second before turning normal.

'Dear Passengers, in 10 minutes. We shall be arriving to Little Garden; please return to your seats and fasten your seatbelts for we are arriving to our destination."

The sound of the intercom came ringing out as Hayato went out of the washroom and went back to his seat. He wears his seatbelt on before he looks out the window and to the ocean below where he now sees a large yet massive aircraft carrier of a fortress moving in the water as it is the Little Garden.

"Little Garden…huh?" Hayato muttered out before he smirks a bit. "what a childish name to be given to the place where Slayers are trained."

Hayato looks away as he leans back against his seat and decided to get some shut-eye while the airplane slowly descends straight for the large aircraft carrier's landing zone.

A few minutes later; Hayato's airplane landed by the landing zone where there were many other air transport vehicles that are either loading in or off cargoes filled with unknown contents.

Hayato came off his airplane from the cargo hold as he along with a cargo came off the air transport.

"very much like a floating nation this place…" Hayato muttered out as he holds a leather suitcase in his right hand while looking around the landing bay.

"Kisaragi Hayato! You who have the highest rank of the Hundred compatibility rate!" someone called out on a mic as this Hayato turn to see two girls wearing school uniforms and standing by a building balcony that has a welcoming banner with his name on it. "please show yourself! Kisaragi Hayato!"

"is this supposed to be my welcoming committee?" Hayato asked with a rather deadpanned face as he soon sighs before he looks at the two girls as his eyes glows gold for a second and his lips soon forms a smirk. "well…..they do look very…" the young man licks his lips before showing a fanged smirk. "…nice."

"Kisaragi Hayato! Please holler out if you hear me!" the one girl holding the boom mic keep at it in calling out Hayato as they were trying to find him.

"maybe he is on a different flight?" the other girl told the first girl. "I don't see him anywhere."

"are you looking for me?" Hayato suddenly came appearing behind the two girls as they let out a frightened and surprised shriek. "if I have to guess, you two were sent by the Little Garden's Captain and Student Council President to come and greet me?"

"a-ah..yes.." one of the girls responded while the other just nods.

"well, I must say that I am thankful that the two of you would be kind enough to come and welcome me." Said Hayato with a smile. "truly thank you. If I just come here with no guide; I might find myself lost in such a big place like here."

"n-no! it's not a problem!" the two girls replied while blushing a bit. "we are just h-honored that such a great person has been born into this world as a Slayer who will save the planet from the Savages!"

"I see. Thank you for such a great compliment" Said Hayate as he reaches his hands out and then patted the two girls' heads. "hearing such words makes me happy to know that my path to become a Slayer was the right path."

"i-it was nothing…" the two female students replied while just blushing even more.

"as thank you…" Hayato spoke out before he has a predatory smile and his red eyes turns into yellowish gold slits like reptilian eyes. "I'll show you two just how great I am.."

The two girls look at Hayato as they just look dreamy at his shadow that started to get closer towards them.

The time passes as Hayato is now walking by the street while holding a phone that has the screen lit up in showing a map that is leading him to a location.

"this should be the place" said Hayato as he turns to the side and sees a large group of people in student's uniform who are walking and chattering around by the area of a building. "pretty crowded."

Hayato walked straight in as his appearance got some attention from the people around the area.

"you're a freshman, pal?" a young blonde man greeted Hayato firstly as the two stood in front of each other.

"yeah." Hayato replied with a nod before he glances side to side before to the man in front of him. "this is the building for the freshmen, right?"

"it is." The blonde man replied before holding his right hand out. "the name's Fritz Glanz; just like you I'm a freshmen. Nice to meet you and hope we can get along."

"yeah" Hayato nodded with a smile to the friendly nature that his future classmate has. The young man reaches out his hand and grabs Fritz's hand in shaking it. "my name is Kisaragi Hayato; nice to meet you too."

"aaah!? Kisaragi Hayato!? As in the Kisaragi Hayato!?" a voice shouted out before a small brunette came running by Fritz's side and pointed a finger at Hayato's face. "the man who beat Clair Harvey's record?! That Kisaragi Hayato!?"

Her voice just made a big commotion as many freshmen students but mostly girls came surrounding Hayato.

"you're Kisaragi Hayato!?" "the man who beat the Queen's number in the Hundred' Compatibility Rate?!" "you're young!" "can I shake your hand!?" the crowd chattered around Hayato who sighs while scratching his cheeks a bit.

"look at what you did, Reitia." Said Fritz as he gently knocks the small brunette's head. "just by looking at him, I can tell the guy has trouble with fans and media and other stuff."

"oh…boy…" the brunette now named Retia looks a bit awkward as Hayate gently pushes away the crowd around him and made his way back to the two.

"sorry, this girl always like to make trouble and stuff." Said Fritz while placing a hand on Retia's head. "she's Retia Santemillion by the way. She's an old childhood friend of mine; she means good."

"by good; you mean always pointing out a famous person upon hearing their name type of good?" Hayato asked while sweatdropping a bit in seeing that some of the crowd's girls were just standing behind him and looking at him all curious and interestedly. "if so; I think I have to get used to her."

"sorry…" said Retia while scratching the back of her head with an awkward smile.

"you can't blame her." said Fritz before pointing at Hayato's clothes. "I mean; you would stand out with your attire and everything. You haven't gotten your school uniform or something?"

"the uniform is too military like." Hayato replied before shrugging his shoulders. "I kinda like what I usually wear and it's the entrance ceremony. I'm sure the student council will let it slide this once."

"I don't know if you're dumb or just crazy to go against the Little Garden's council rules." Retia pointed out before Fritz placed a hand to her head.

"says the girl who tried to sneak in take outs during the enrollment exam." Said Fritz as Retia awkwardly chuckles.

Soon; a student came out of the building's front door and called all the freshmen students to come in which they did in just seconds.

With a change of scene; Hayato and the freshmen students of his year came into the Auditorium where they all sat to their seats and faced the stage where two more students came into the scene.

One had green hair and tanned skin while the other is brown and wears glasses. The two went in front of a mic set at the center where they placed a few papers on the podium.

"to all the freshmen, welcome to the Little Garden." The tanned green haired girl spoke out first on the mic as she looks at the students who are seated in front of her. "my name is Liddy Steinberg; I'm a second year from the senior high of martial arts faculty and one of the vice presidents of the student council. From here on, I shall be the person in charge of all your training." She then turns and motions a hand to the other girl beside her. "and beside me is also in the same year as me and another vice president of the student council."

"I am Erica Candle, pleased to meet you all." The glass wearing brunette greeted with a quick head bow before she held up a little metal case which she opens to reveal triangle shaped badges. "first of all, I would like to say on behalf of the student council; congratulations on getting accepted to the senior high martial arts faculty. From here on out, we will award you with these badges." The vice president then takes and holds out one of the badges from the case. "These badges are proof that you are a student of the Little Garden."

"We will call your name in order." Liddy spoke out next. "Please come forth to receive your badges."

"there are more girls than boys, huh?" said Hayato as he sat beside Fritz and Retia while glancing side to side in seeing just amount of females that are in a large number compared to males.

"probably because the strong compatibility with the Hundred are more achieved by them." Fritz replied while having his arms crossed under his chest as they continued to listen and watch as students are called one by one to the stage to receive their badges. "for us boys; we can say that we are a bit lucky in having any reaction with becoming a Slayer and everything."

"that just means that we are more stronger than you guys." Said Retia with a grin.

"big talk from the girl who barely pass the written exam." Fritz countered as Retia just growls at him.

In the passing time; the students received their badges as Hayato's name soon gets called.

"Kisaragi Hayato" Erica called out the young man's name as he stood up from his seat and made his way to the stage.

His name being famous and his attire just standing out like a sore thumb in the crowd gave Hayato a big amount of attention directed at him. Many girls chattered as some talked about him and a few cheered for him, but there were a few stares from some boys and girls who have hostile, envious, and jealous glares.

'they aren't holding back, are they?' Hayato thought amusingly with a smile as he made his way up the stairs and to the stage. He went and stood in front of the two vice presidents who are looking at him with stern faces.

"so you're Kisaragi Hayato…" Erica spoke out while hardening her gaze a bit. "why are you not wearing your school uniform?"

"I haven't received one." Hayato replied carefreely while shrugging his shoulders. "I just transferred to Little Garden earlier and i barely have all of my personal belongings transferred here."

"that would necessarily mean that you should wear such an outfit to the entrance ceremony!" Erica stated while adjusting her glasses.

"now this is a problem." Said Hayato with an easy going smile as he got in front of Erica before he leans down while gently tapping a finger on her glasses that made her look surprised. "you should just wear contact lenses instead of these, you know?

"what does that supposed to mean?" said Erica while readjusting her glasses before Hayato suddenly takes them off. "wha!?"

"because if you wear contact lenses.." Hayato spoke out while smiling down at Erica. "you'll bring out the beauty in your eyes."

"W-Wha!?" Erica looks surprised and her cheeks turned red in an instant.

"you! What do you think you're doing!?" Liddy exclaimed before Hayato suddenly cups her chin and leans close to her face. "c-close!"

"hmmm, and here I thought the freshmen girls are beautiful." said Hayato before he leans close to Liddy's right ear and whispered. "I think I might've found the most beautiful girl in this auditorium." He then kisses her cheek and made the green haired girl blush.

"y-you!?" Liddy exclaimed as Hayato gently taps his finger on her forehead before taking his badge and returning the glasses to Erica.

"don't worry! I'm just playing around!" Hayato laughs before he smiles a bit predatorily at the two vice presidents. "well….only on a few parts."

"y-you!" Liddy shouted as she and Erica were looking red in fury and embarrassment.

Hayato chuckles as he flips his badge up and then catches it in mid-air; he then winks at the two before jumping off the stage.

His action caused many murmurs and chatters to spread as Liddy and Erica blushingly glares at Hayato who made his way back to his seat while having the entire room's attention on him.

"man…you're damn nuts to pull a stunt like that." Said Fritz as he and Retia looks at Hayato who sat back beside them. "especially on the Student Council's vice presidents."

"I have the tendency to be playful at some point." Hayato stated with a small smirk.

"we can somehow understand that." Said Retia as Fritz nodded in agreement.

The award ceremony continued and soon ended as Liddy and Erica who were still glaring at Hayato who just smiles amusingly at the two; started to announce the continuation of the entrance ceremony.

"continuing on." Liddy spoke out in a rather stern voice. "we have the captain of the Maritime Academy City and also the Student Council President who administers every student." She then waves and motions a hand to the side as someone is coming out of the curtains behind. "please welcome; Little Garden's Perfect Queen: Claire Harvey."

"Perfect Queen?" Hayato muttered out as he looks rather interestingly at the Student Council President who appears out of the curtain. "ho~?"

There came Claire Harvey; the captain of Little Garden and the Perfect Queen. The student council president wears a red school uniform; she is a blonde haired young woman with twin tails and blue eyes.

Claire went to the podium as Liddy and Erica stood by the side to let their president stand in front of the mic.

The students just sat in their seats as Claire taps the mic once before she coughs a bit into a fist to ready her mouth to speak; but just as she was about to; the door to the entrance ceremony was opened by the two female students who went to pick up Hayato during his arrival.

"w-we're very sorry that we are late!" the two girls apologized in an instant as they look flushed and tired; seemingly that they had run to get to the Auditorium.

Everyone in the room instantly turned their attention to the two girls who seems scared and nervous while also looking rather guilty.

"what's this?" Retia asked. "late comers?"

'oh yeah….i forgot to take them with me' Hayato thought as his eyes turned gold for a second.

"you two came late?" said Claire before she looks very sternly at the two late freshmen students. "you really have the nerve to be late on the day of the entrance ceremony. Noa Sheldon, Liu Xuemei."

"w-we're very sorry! We were going to pick up Kisaragi Hayato from the airport and we meet him then!" one of the girls tried to make up an excuse but Claire slammed a hand to the podium in cutting off her words.

"silence! It should have been informed for students to adhere to the schedule!" Claire exclaimed with a stern glare. "we don't need students who cannot follow orders! Collect your things and leave Little Garden at once!"

This made some students chatter in a bit of pity to the two late students who started to cry because of their sole purpose to become a Slayer is getting ripped and taken away.

"don't be such a tyrant, will ya?" Hayato called out as everyone turns their attention to the young man who stood back up from his seat. "They were late because of me. Why are you picking on them when you should be doing that to me?"

"hey! What are you doing!?" Fritz whispered as he and Retia looks worried at Hayato who just stares at Claire with a confident face.

"you…Kisaragi Hayato." Claire spoke out in with her entire attention at him. "You are also a troublesome student. You do not follow the rules that we have set in Little Garden."

"yeah, I'm a troublesome person." Said Hayato while smirking a bit. "what about it?"

"do not think for one moment that you are just students." Claire stated before she looks at everyone in the auditorium. "all of you are the same. You are all fledgling Slayers that will risk their lives to fight the Savages. A little mistake that you do in training is nothing but a fatal mistake that can cause the life of your comrades in arms and yourselves. That is not from the matter of frequency." The student council's president then pointed a finger at Hayato. "failure in following orders will lead to death!"

"but this is a small little problem of a trouble." Said Hayato while crossing his arms "even on the battlefield, there are some orders that are nothing but failing mistakes that are not the Slayers' fault."

"do not jest, Kisaragi Hayato!" Erica stated very sternly. "Claire-sama is the perfect Queen! She has never given any failing orders in her life!"

"really?" Hayato asked a bit smugly. "are you really sure that she is perfect in everything?"

"you bastard! You dare blasphemy Claire-sama!?" Liddy shouted while growling angrily.

"sorry; but I don't believe in someone being so perfect when I don't see them doing anything but run their mouth." Said Hayato while shrugging his shoulders with his hands raised. "I mean; you two are her vice presidents and you may have spread the rumors of her being perfect in the first place, right?"

"you little!" Liddy and Erica look furiously at Hayato but Claire raises a hand to stop their action.

"Kisaragi Hayato..are you implying that you shall be taking the punishment of Liu Xuemei and Noa Sheldon?" said Claire while having a hardened gaze at Hayato. "are you prepared to be expelled?"

"if that what is takes to revoke their punishment? Then yeah." Said Hayato while just smirking at the Perfect Queen. "I admit that I am the one who caused them to be late, but i am always someone who is responsible for his own actions. If you want to punish anyone for making those two ladies late in coming to this boring ceremony, it should be me."

"fine then." said Claire as she points a finger back at Hayato again. "their punishment is revoked and replaced upon you. Pack your things and leave Little Garden immediately."

"hey hey, I only said that I'm taking their punishment." Said Hayato while crossing his arms under his chest. "but I never said anything about going with it."

"you little!" Liddy exclaimed but Claire raises her hand again to silence her.

"then? what shall you do if you are not going to take the punishment?" Claire asked as Hayato just smugly smirks and then points a finger at her.

"I challenge you to a duel." Hayato stated. "if you win; I will leave Little Garden or do whatever you want. But If I win…." The young man lowers his hand then chuckles with his smug smirk still on his face. "well… we get to that part later on."

His declaration got everyone to look at him shocked and surprise as here is a freshmen student challenging the student council president right out of the blue.

"Claire-sama, you do not need to heed the challenge of such a man.." Liddy spoke out to Claire who just smirks at Hayato.

"very well." Claire stated. "I, Claire Harvey accepts your challenge."

"what?! Claire-sama! Why?!" Erica stated.

"to give an example to those who don't follow the rules and orders of Little Garden." Claire stated while smirking as she crosses her arms under her chest. "by defeating him in battle that he so confidently propose; I shall crush his spirit of defiance along with any other. This will ensure perfect order of command."

"we both now agreed to the challenge." Said Hayato while crossing his arms. "when and where do you want to be defeated at?"

"such a smug confidence." Claire spoke out before chuckling. "very well. Tomorrow morning at the Training Arena. Is that suitable?"

"morning in an arena, huh?" said Hayato while cupping his chin. "if I have to guess; you'll probably invite all the students to watch the fight. Or rather; you will make sure that everyone in Little Garden watch the battle that you will so confidently crush me in?"

"you seem to have a good idea what I am thinking." Claire replied with a smirk. "look forward to it because you shall taste pure absolute and humiliating defeat at my hands."

"I would say the same to you." Hayato chuckled as he has a predatory smirk. "you should look forward what you will face when you lose."

This made a tense atmosphere form in the auditorium as they weren't sure who will win or who will lose because of the confidence that the two foes have with each other.

About an hour later; the entrance ceremony had finished as the students left the auditorium,

Hayato walks down the stairs before he was called out from behind; he turns and sees both Noa Sheldon and Liu Xiumei coming to him.

"we're very sorry for troubling you!" the two apologizes in an instant while bowing. "we were supposed to be at your side in taking you to the school; but because of what had happened before! We just!"

"it's fine." Hayato replied with a smile. "if anyone is at fault; it's me. I just left you guys back there without waking you two up." The young man then reaches his hands up and patted their heads. "so don't feel bad, everything will be alright."

"b-but…you challenged Claire-sama..the P-Perfect Queen who has never lost a fight in her life." Said Noa while looking scared and worried for Hayato. "y-you can't win."

"are you sure about that?" Hayato asked with a chuckle. "perhaps I might win if you two would cheer for me to win on the duel tomorrow?"

"y-yes!" Xuemei spoke out in an instant. "I know this duel may seem one sided; but I'm sure that you can win with our support! We'll do anything to help!"

"then.." Hayato leans close in between the two girls as he started whispering into their ears.

Noa and Xuemei listens to his whispers as they soon blush before Hayato leans away and the two looks at him very dreamily.

"can you do that for me?" Hayato asked as the two just nodded. "great. I'll see you later."

Hayato then leaves as Noa and Xuemei waves their hands goodbye to him.

"now then…" Hayato muttered out as he takes out his phone that turns on and pressed the screen a few times. "I should head in and start readying myself."

Hayato presses the screen on his phone a few more times before he looks a bit in surprise to some unread messages.

"crap, I forgot." Said Hayato as he looks around before he presses the screen on his phone a few more times. "got to get there fast!"

Hayato runs down the stairs as he instantly went to the street where he hollered for a taxi that came and picked him up.

At a hospital; there are dozens of patients, doctors, and nurses going around everywhere. Hayato who arrived into the area had went into the medical building. He walks towards an elevator that goes up to a floor level.

Hayato arrived on the building's 20th floor as he went out and politely greeted some nurses and doctors who went into the elevator after him before he went to a patient's room.

In the room; he finds a young black haired girl on a hospital bed and is having some fun with tarot cards on a table set in front of her.

"ah, onii-san" the young girl greeted Hayato as she is Kisaragi Karen, his little sister.

"hi, Karen." Hayato greeted her with a smile, the young man entered while taking a stool for him to seat beside the bed. "how you feeling today?"

"I'm feeling fine." Said Karen while smiling. "the doctors and nurses here are very nice and the medicines are all taken like small little pills. I don't get shots like the old hospitals."

"that's good to hear." Hayato replied as he patted Karen's head a few times. "if you weren't getting better; I would've rejected the offer to transfer here and find a better place."

"are you still going with that?" Karen asked before puffing her cheeks a bit. "I'm not a little girl anymore~! I can take care of myself~!"

"to me, you'll always be little." Hayato grins as he ruffles her hair a bit as this made Karen pout even more before she smiles all joyfully.

Hayato is a candidate for a Slayer; but he could become one in any nation's military company. The only reason he came to Little Garden was for the medical support that his little sister needed. Karen had contracted a very powerful disease that had run rampant ever since the first Savage attack that happened years back. Right now; she is doing well with the advanced and highly equipped medical unit that the floating nation has to provide.

"ehh~!? You challenged the captain of the Little Garden?!" said Karen as Hayato had told her of his morning in entering the academy's entrance ceremony.

"yeah." Hayato replied while peeling an apple for Karen. "there were two students who were kind enough to pick me up when my plane landed. They showed me the place and where to go for any type of thing I might need to have or want. But because of me just letting them off shopping; they were late and were going to get expelled." The young man then holds up a small paper plate of rabbit apples that he placed for his little sister to eat. "I was just standing up for them."

"you always make trouble ever since you start having that job before~!" said Karen with a whining puffing pout before she eats one of the rabbit apples.

"sorry about that" Hayato chuckles. "but don't worry, I won't lose." the young man stood up from his seat and gently caresses Karen's head a few times. "for my little sister's well care, I'll battle dozens of Savages and Slayers to keep her safe and healthy no matter what." he then placed a peck on her head while smiling. "that's a promise."

Karen looks at her brother as she smiles very joyfully and happily in return.

After some time; visiting time was over as Hayato bids goodbye to Karen before he went out of her room.

As Hayato walked down the hallway; he meets with a familiar face.

"ah, Miharu-san. long time no see." Hayato greeted a blue haired nurse who has a very voluptuous chest and figure who is named Kashiwagi Miharu who he is familiar with her because of how the nurse is in charge of taking care of his little sister from a different hospital that she transferred away into Little Garden. "thank you very much as always in taking care of Karen."

"it's nothing, Kisaragi-san." Miharu replied with a smile. "I was a bit surprised that Karen-chan wanted me to stay as her nurse and you managed to file a transfer for my workstation to Little Garden." She giggles a bit. "I guess you are a very loving brother who will do anything to make sure Karen-chan is well taken care of."
