So the moment you've all waited for- 'Champions & Wars' is here, Part 2 of 'When Legends meet'. Be prepared for a lot of hype.
We got a lot of stuff here.
This will be longer than the last story, and again, many plotlines for different Universes will happen, with setup for future, and I've a plotline in mind where almost all Heroes can team up.
Once more, I thank Brainstorm Sorcerer and gussygus28 for all their help here, with all the different plotlines, their input and work on several arcs here is very much valuable and appreciated.
And thank you to other friends like HRwriter897, Stand with Ward and Queen, 9024multiverse and Marcus S. Lazarus for discussing and bouncing ideas as well, and helping with stuff.
I wrote a fic titled 'Marvel's Iron Fist Season 1', a re-write of the shitty Netflix 'Iron Fist' show's Season 1. When I do 'Iron Fist' Season 1 here, I'll pull from my re-write than the actual show, and the re-write will get its own re-write from around Episode 7, as now, the larger MCU and Marvel Universe in general will be involved in 'Iron Fist' Season 1.
And I also wrote a fic titled 'Marvel's Inhumans Season 1', which is my re-write of the horrible 'Inhumans' show on ABC that no one remembers. I haven't even seen it; the re-write came from my mind and storylines on the Inhumans in the comics that I looked up.
That version of the show is canon to the MCU Universe in this series, but if you don't wish to read it, don't, as I'll provide decent info in this series when Inhumans finally show up, same for Iron Fist and his supporting cast.
Also, like this, I will be writing other 'shows' and 'films' separately which will be canon to various Universes in 'When Legends meet' series, so stay tuned.
I'd opened a sandbox for this series when ending the previous fic, and 4 authors have written for it-
'Storms of Ash and Glory' by King_Of_The_Multiverse, crossover between 'A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones', 'Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice', 'Bloodborne', 'Drenai Saga', 'Tales of the Rigante', 'Arcane/League of Legends', 'Crescent City', 'The Empyrean' and 'Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves', with Westeros being entered by various characters from the other fandoms mentioned due to cosmic manipulation, and it starts shortly after first fic ends, and for GOT its during Season 2. I don't know any fandoms outside of ASOIAF and 'Arcane' (which is just a footnote when you consider how long and deep the LoL lore is), plus have basic gist of Dungeons & Dragons, but it's a great fic, with lots of intrigue, and made me invested in characters I didn't know.
'The War Continues' by HRwriter897, a 'Transformers' fic, covering the events of Season 1 of 'Transformers: Prime', starting shortly after Chapter 25 of 'Heroes coming together' as in Chapters 24-25 there was the Smallville/Transformers/Doctor Who crossover, and the fic shows how the Dinobots being with Autobots changes things, with the Autobot/Decepticon war shown perfectly, and changes made accordingly to the episodes. It also crosses over with 'Smallville' and some new fandoms from time to time, and shows the destruction of some BS we all hate, which you'll figure out when you read it.
'Guardians and Hunters' by BrutalRaynor, crossover between MCU's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'Borderlands' video games, taking place after 2nd GOTG film and during 2nd Borderlands game, happening few weeks after Singularity first opened up. Great interactions between Guardians and Vault Hunters and great bonding between them as they go through the adventure together, fighting bandits as they've the conflict against Handsome Jack. Great castings for the 'Borderlands' characters too.
'When Legends Meet: Speed Meets Survival' by FanFicHazza/FictionWriterHaz18, crossover between 'Sonic the Hedgehog' movies and 'Resident Evil' movies, starting near end of the 2nd Sonic movie and end of 'Resident Evil: Afterlife'/ beginning of 'Resident Evil: Retribution', taking place a while after Singularity first opened up. Really well-written, and actually made me invested in the RE movie characters since I don't pay much attention to the RE movies.
'A Starfish Tries to steal Beerus' Food and...' by cornholio4 which is a crack one-shot where Beerus from 'Dragon Ball Super' meets Patrick from 'SpongeBob Squarepants', then 'Fight Against Bill' also by him where a bunch of characters defeat Bill Cipher from 'Gravity Falls'.
All 5 fics are canon to the 'When Legends meet' Multiverse, and all 5 are great and well-written by their authors. So, I request you all to check these fics out on AO3, though 'When Legends Meet: Speed Meets Survival', 'A Starfish Tries to steal Beerus' Food and…' and 'Fight Against Bill' are on FF too. The former's author is named FanFicHazza on FF and FictionWriterHaz18 on AO3. And please, check out other works by these authors too.
With that, let's begin.
Chapter 1- Bye, Bye, Bye!
King & Ashley" (TV-size Version) by MY FIRST STORY plays
The sequence starts with nothing but black, and then...BAM! The 'When Legends meet' title appears on the screen, lingering for a good 10 seconds.
A shot of the Heroes of Earth-1 is seen, consisting of Green Arrow, Flash, White Canary, Batman, Constantine, Static Shock, Vixen, Lucifer, and Ash Williams. Then the Earth-92 Heroes of consisting of Buffy and the Scoobies and Angel and the Fang Gang are seen. After that, the Heroes of Earth-21 which consists of Superman and his Justice League are seen. Next, Sam and Dean Winchester of Earth-205 are seen standing in front of the Impala, Castiel hovering nearby. And then- Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin and Boromir of Arda-1 are seen standing very proudly. After them come Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka of Universe-208 standing side-by-side from each other with lightsabers in their hands. Finally, a shot of the Avengers of Earth-199999, alongside the X-Men, Blade, Daredevil, Agents of SHIELD, Guardians of the Galaxy, Team Leverage, Ethan Hunt and the IMF and Rambo is seen.
We cut to flashes of multiple Universes, and first we see the Avengers of Earth-8096 fighting Amora and Surtur alongside the Spectacular Spider-Man and the X-Men lead by Wolverine. Next, there's the Justice League of Earth-192 taking on Darkseid and his army. Then, we see Spider-Man and the X-Men of Earth-92131 teaming up against the Sentinels. After that, we see the Teen Titans of Earth-2034 teaming up with The Batman against Brother Blood.
Superman, Supergirl, Black Lightning and Batman of Earth-38 stare at the camera. Then a shot of Cloud Strife and his allies of Earth-7 staring at the camera. Sora, Donald, and Goofy on Destiny Islands do the same thing. The Tenth Doctor in front of the TARDIS on Earth-63 stare too. Optimus Prime and the Autobots of Universe-2010 also stare. Kratos, Atreus and Mimir's head on Universe-447 do the same. Aang, Katara, Sokka, Appa and Momo on Earth-125 stare too. Iron Man, War Machine, Rescue, Black Panther, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye of Earth-904913 stare as well. The Vault Hunters in Universe-2009 consisting of Roland, Mordecai, Lilith, Brick, Krieg, Maya, Axton, Salvador, Zer0 and Gaige stare too.
It cuts to flashes of more Universes as young Goku of Earth-84 shoots a Kamehameha at an unknown enemy, while Harry Potter fires a magic blast on Earth-97, with Naruto doing the Shadow Clone Jutsu on Earth-199, and then Sonic the Hedgehog is shown speeding on Earth-91581 while Alice of Earth-121775 fights alongside him, and then a flash of Sekiro of Earth-2219 and Druss of Drenath fighting each other on Planetos is shown, followed by a scene of Sun Wukong killing Imps, then Beerus destroying the AM.
Then various shots of villains are shown, starting with Lex Luthor and his Injustice League. Then the Urban Legends of Earth-1, consisting of Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Chucky and Candyman are shown, with Lucifer of Earth-205 looming above them. It's followed by a shot of Handsome Jack in Universe-2009 laughing, and then a shot of Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik of Earth-91581 is shown standing against The Red Queen of Earth-121775. After that, Bill Cipher is seen sitting on the throne in the Mewni palace on Earth-915. Next, Sephiroth of Earth-7 and Master Xehanort are shown standing side-by-side, while Megatron of Universe-2010 looms behind them in the distance. After that, Doctor Doom is shown sitting on his throne on Latveria on Earth-199999, while on one side, the wasteland of Mordor is seen, the Eye of Sauron looming on top of the Tower of Barad-dûr, while on the other side, Emperor Palpatine is seen cackling, and down below, at the bottom, the Night King is shown Beyond the Wall, standing ahead of his White Walkers.
Then a rocky wasteland on Earth-8096 is shown where several Heroes from the Multiverse battle a hoard of enemies. Supermen, Iron Men, Thors, Green Lanterns, Supergirls, Hawkmen, Hawkgirls, Miss Marvel and many other Heroes who could fly were seen in the air blasting away many Ultron-bots. On the ground, Batmen, Captain Americas, Wonder Women, Wolverines, Optimus Prime, Cloud, Sora, and many others fought as many HYDRA Agents as possible, while the Hulks were smashing everything that wasn't friendly, the Green Arrows, Hawkeyes, and Legolas shot many arrows, and the speedsters, led by Peter Maximoff, Bart Allen and Earth-192 Flash, sped all over the place, the Spider-Men swinging around shooting their webs at enemies. In the corner, The Tenth Doctor ran forth, holding up the Sonic Screwdriver, clearly having an idea.
Earth-1 Constantine, Ash, the Scoobies, Fang Gang, Winchesters, Charmed Ones, Blade, Selene and Michael Corvin, and various survivors of the Earth-1 Urban Legends fought their hardest against a bunch of Demons, Vampires, Deadites, evil Werewolves, and so many Supernatural creatures and monsters. At one point, Ash slips on a can of soda and fall to the ground, but that caused him to hit a Demon on the chin, making it fly backwards and then land next to Earth-1 Lucifer's feet, who forms a devilish smirk on his face, and then changes into his Devil form, scaring the demon.
Aragorn then stands alone, determined as a bunch of Orcs start rushing at him. And then, he whips out Andúril and starts to charge at the Orcs himself, before he does his first SLASH! causing the screen to go white.
The screen stays white for about 5 seconds, until there's a transition into a slow zoom-in shot of multiple Earths floating next to each other… until they are revealed to be under the palm of Thanos. He forms a smirk and then… SNAP!
Sora and the Young Legends alongside Spirit Dream Eaters fight Freddy Krueger and Nightmare Dream Eaters.
Anakin Skywalker faces off against Lilith in his mind.
Plo Koon faces off against Quor'toth the Old One in Quor'toth while protecting baby Connor.
Hulk fights against Juggernaut on Earth-199999.
Earth-21 Superman and Wonder Woman alongside Earth-199999 Thor face off against Hades of that Earth and the brainwashed Earth-199999 Hercules.
On Earth-199999, outside the Avengers Compound, Clint rained arrows down upon Merlyn, Savage, Zemo and their men from upon the sky-cycle.
Lord Krishna tells off Chuck Shurley.
Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII and Yuffie easily defeat Mercenary Tao in front of Son Goku.
Eliot helps Parker and Felicia in defeating Alahi and his men.
Slate beats on Dushan.
Odin of Earth-199999 faces off against the Singularity.
The Fellowship of the Ring on Arda-1 sets out.
Earth-8096 Avengers and Earth-192 Justice League face off against Final Form Ultron of Earth-8096 and Brainiac-Lex of Earth-192.
Bane the Bastard fights 100 men, including 30 at the end.
Optimus Prime and Megatron battle on the Space Bridge.
The Guardians of the Galaxy and the Vault Hunters take on Wilhelm.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Tom Wachowski meet Alice for the first time.
Beerus throws Patrick into a sun.
Samurai Jack takes on Bill Cipher.
Heroes of Earth-199999 are shown standing against each other in opposite teams.
Sora, Donald and Goofy take on Orcs.
Earth-1 Flash and Earth-38 Supergirl face off against someone.
Lucifer of Earth-205 is flanked by an army of Horror Icons and supernatural villains.
The Avengers and X-Men on Earth-8096 stand opposite to each other.
Earth-21 Superman speaks with Chloe Sullivan.
The sequence is about to come to an end as a slow panning shot of all of the various Heroes of the Multiverse is shown.
With that, the sequence ends with the "When Legends meet" logo accompanied by the subtitle underneath, "created by Aragorn II Elessar".
Earth-199999
In a house, a man in a mask of red and black arrangement sat on an armchair that rocked back and forth, with the man having covered himself in a robe, and a blanket, a fire going nearby.
In his lap was a book that he was reading, and the cover of the book said- "Heroes coming together". A little below it was "by Aragorn II Elessar".
"So, Eddie Thawne killed himself, Eobard Thawne never existed, the Singularity started sucking Central City and the rest of the Universe in, Flash ran up to stop it", Wade Wilson aka Deadpool aka the Merc with the Mouth read out loud, then looked up. "But if Thawne never existed, how come he travelled back in time and made 'The Flash' Season 1 still happen somehow? This shit is so nonsensical, right Madvocate?"
He looked around, and saw no one. "Right, bro ran off and stopped calling or writing after making that heretical video on MY FILM WITH HUGH!" Wade calmed himself down. "Oh well…a man's got to do his job and all. At least we've the excuse of not taking it seriously, what's your excuse, 'Flash'?"
Shaking his head, Wade stopped himself and said into the camera. "Now you must be wondering how the magnificent Deadpoolio is in this story, in the greatest timeline of the MCU of all things." He sighed. "Well, I was in a bit of a rough patch. You know, swords needed sharpening, rent needed paying, these schmucks had no idea how to write my MCU version, and Dancing With the Stars was on, then this idiot author Aragorn kept a certain 'Origins' movie canon to this timeline to get his sick kicks while I suffered, but it has everything to do with that post-credits scene which went nowhere, but Ryan Reynolds did, after the Green Lantern fiasco! Oh well, Blake Lively was there, so not the worst thing, but anyways, you get the gist."
He sighed, as the camera panned a bit outwards and a random skeleton lay near his armchair, and he gestured to it. "Yeah, that's the Barakapool we don't talk about. Uncle Wade here obviously survived that shitty film as we saw in the post-credits scene, put his brain into a clone body from this shit, but comic-book accuracy dictated that my new body gets cellular degradation, and the healing factor which conveniently got transferred alongside my mind stops it, so I can't look as punchable as Gordon Reynolds does, well shit! The skeleton is here for…..reasons. Good Lord Aragorn, you still write some convoluted shit, you haven't changed a bit from 'Heroes'."
Wade then looked back into the book. "And just as the Multiverse opens up like a-oh my fuck!" He looked up, right into the camera. "Whose idea was this?! Are we doing some old shitty Christmas special? Fuck this! We're doing this Deadpool-style! Blood, classics, humor, style, everything the MCU has been missing for five years, except with my buddy Spidey, three of them, plus the Guardians whom no one gave a shit about before their films, and of course, me and Hugh Jackman. Strap in your nuts, and cue the music!"
DING-DONG!
"Not that music!" Wade said with a groan, then screamed. "DOOR!"
"Yeah yeah, let the old blind lady get it. Lazy bastard", Blind Al grumbled as she wandered to the door.
The door was heard opening and a few seconds later Blind Al called out. "It's for you, asshole!"
"Fuck!" Wade tossed the book aside, and pulled up from the side of the chair a large tub of Vaseline, before looking to the skeleton. "Showtime, you ugly bastard." He grabbed the skeleton, then walked by the doorway, seeing a group of disgusting and dangerous looking angry Demons, Blind Al standing by the doorway's side.
"There he is!"
Wade looked at the "guests" and shouted. "Give me five, maybe twenty minutes!"
With that, he ran into his bedroom…..except it was Blind Al's room!
"Asshole!" Blind Al screamed.
The Demons looked at each other, hearing grunts and screams from within the room.
"STOP STARING AT HIM!"
"I CAN'T STARE AT ANYTHING!"
"HE'S BEEN JUDGED ENOUGH!"
A few more minutes later, Wade finally arrived, now fully suited up in his suit of red and black, two katanas strapped to his back, the skeleton still in his grip.
"Sorry, the Vaseline makes it easier, but the only helping hands I had were my own." Then he turned to the camera. "Oh yeah dummies, as I've said 50 times in the last 2 seconds, it's the poor bastard from 'Origins'...who's also me, unfortunately."
He suddenly narrowed his eyes. "What? You still didn't understand?" He shook his head. "Well dumbass, long story, talk to author Aragorn! When he is not reading porn stories of my wife with Anna Kendrick that is and losing brain cells by touching himself to such kind of stuff!" And then, Deadpool turned to the Demons. "Alright, fuckers, let's do this with style! And teleportation belts!"
Blind Al just tilted her head. "What the fuck?!" Deadpool grabbed the closest Demon, and pressed his own belt, teleporting them to a certain snow-covered forest.
"Let's fucking go!" Wade looked at the cameras again. "Sorry, Hugh. Well, not sorry." He gestured around at the forest. "I'm sure you recognize this place from the opening of that billions-making film that Hugh and I starred in."
That was when the other Demons arrived via magical portals, ready to attack, so Wade threw the one he'd grabbed away, and grabbing the skeleton, leapt over a log, and hid behind it, before holding up his hand.
"WAIT! I'm warning you! I'm not alone!"
"Wade Wilson!" One Demon said in a growl. "Lord Marduk Kurios wants to see you, for interfering with his worship! Come out, so we can take you to him!"
While the Demon rambled, Wade groaned. "Yeah, readers will now start asking author Aragorn about if Daimon Hellstrom will show up. But then again, if he ain't reading porn about wifey with Anna Kendrick, it's about Alexandra Daddario with any hot female celeb, guy's brain cells are fried. Though, can't blame him there on Alex. But either way, he'd be too busy touching himself to that over paying attention to such questions."
The Demon cried out. "Throw out your weapons and come with us, or be prepared for painful torment from here till our Lord's Realm!"
Wade groaned, looking at the skeleton. "I'm not gonna give you my weapons! But I promise not to use them."
NSYNC- Bye Bye Bye plays
Wade looked at the camera. "There are two hundred and six bones in the human body. Two hundred and seven if I'm watching Gossip Girl, or reading those porn stories of her with Anna Kendrick over author Aragorn's shoulder."
He looked down at the Weapon XI skeleton, grasping its wrist. "Here we go, maximum effort!" He high-fived with the skeletal hand.
NSYNC- Bye Bye Bye stops playing
As the Demons watched, suddenly, Wade flipped out from behind the log, waving the skeleton as he did so, and put it before himself as a shield.
NSYNC- Bye Bye Bye resumes playing
Even the Demons looked weirded out by what Wade was doing, though they prepared to fight, as Wade looked at the skeleton. "Guess you get to be useful after all."
Wade ripped a bone off the skeleton, the Demons staring in shock, and Wade threw it, and on it was written- "A story by Aragorn II Elessar".
The bone hit a Demon on the head, stabbing through and going into its brain as the 'I'm doing this tonight' part of the song was heard in the background.
Other Demons charged Wade, as he dodged one's swing before stabbing his back with the bone, the song going 'You're probably gonna start a fight'. Wade then ripped the bone out, the Demon screeching as blood splattered all around.
Wade then blocked another Demon's strike with the bone and spinning, stabbed another bone into its head, making him scream as blood splattered. And then Wade kicked the bone so hard it went into his head and protruded from the other side with blood on it, reading- "Actors- Too many to list!"
Then, Deadpool swung the spine, using it to kill three Demons brutally in quick succession, followed by a fourth, the Demon's teeth shattering as on the skeleton's top was written- "Co-authors- Brainstorm Sorcerer and gussygus28."
Then, Deadpool started doing the dance to the song, beckoning towards himself, before moving his shoulders, and later, he was seen holding the camera, pointed at his face as he was kissing a dead Demon, and then dropping it, after which he exhaled onto the camera, with Blake Lively's name appearing, and he drew a heart next to it.
And after that, Wade spun and slapped a Demon with the leg of the skeleton thrice to the 'Out that door' lyric, and then, due to the Demon's hand trapped between the skeleton, Wade kneed the skeleton in a way that the Demon stabbed into his own head with the claws, and the splattered blood formed the words- "Fandoms- Too many to list!"
Then Wade stabbed a Demon right in the head with another bone, its blood splattering and covering the words- "Other series writers- King_of_the_Multiverse, HRwriter897, BrutalRaynor, FanFicHazza/FictionWriterHaz18 and Cornholio4."
And then Wade did a left step, followed by a right step, to the song, before doing a hop, and waving his hand while opening and closing it and moving it from right to left, standing in a pose, to the 'Bye Bye Bye'.
Wade then did a backflip as a bone saying- "Dr. Matthattan, Stand with Ward and Queen, Bl4ckHunter, Phillipe363, Flashraven, Ededdneddy, OmniIBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla, The Final Shinobi, Cer1992, Michael Weyer, Marcus S. Lazarus, Western Witch, Sayman, 9024multiverse, ParkerCooper, matthorseman1996, NeoTyson, SunGod499, Sean Malloy-1, Aboodash56, Amit Barabi, Dancouga 01-25 and the great Farting Guest also rock" fell from the top, this long sentence somehow fitting onto it.
Wade landed on a dead Demon while catching the bone and straightening, threw it at another Demon, impaling it as blood splattered everywhere.
Then, Deadpool uppercut a Demon with the spine, breaking its jaw as it flew off and crashed to the ground, its legs lifted upwards as Wade brought the spine down between two legs.
After that, Wade slammed the skull on a Demon thrice to 'Hit me with the truth' part of the song as it died after the third blow, the words on the ground saying- "Music by- any artist the author enjoys".
"Maradona from outside the box!" Wade kicked the skull away. "GOAAAAL!"
The skull's mouth opened as it flew, the words "J.R.R. Tolkien is the GREATEST" appearing.
Wade danced again, then fought a Demon, deflecting its strikes and slicing it with a bone before spinning and stabbing it in the crotch with another bone, making it scream in agony, blood pouring out.
Then Deadpool did the 'out in out' motion to the 'Out that door' part of the song before doing the hand-wave from earlier to the 'Bye Bye Bye' part of the song.
With that, Wade put his hands behind his back and did the 'Left right left' step to the song, before plucking off bones and throwing three of them onto the Demons.
One bone said 'Champions', another said '&', and the last said 'Wars'.
All three bones stabbed a Demon each in the head, killing them, after which Deadpool did cowboy to the song, followed by three head nods.
Then he did a cowboy to the other side, followed by three more head nods, and then another Demon fell as a bone stabbed him, blood splattering.
Wade spun around to the song and shook his booty at one point, after which he wrapped part of the skeleton around a Demon's neck like a piano wire and pulled, decapitating it, as the head flew into the air.
Deadpool stabbed into another Demon with bones, including underneath the chin, after which he leapt and kicked the bone further into the Demon's chin, before landing with a split, straightening the Demon's head, and spin-kicking it out as it fell, after which he danced a bit more.
Then, Deadpool tried to rip a leg bone of the skeleton off.
"COME ON DUMB FELLOW!"
Deadpool ripped the leg bone off, killing a Demon by striking its head while he did a flip and rose, spinning the bone like a nunchaku and striking a Demon's face, killing it and making a shoe fly off.
Then Deadpool continued spinning the bone and killing Demons, including making one fly and striking it hard enough to fall down, and he spun it again before striking one charging from behind.
After that, Deadpool danced to the music with some sexy poses, the Demons exchanging looks of confusion, while Wade walked forth, strapping the forearm blades onto his hands.
With that, the blades snapped forth.
NSYNC- Bye Bye Bye stops playing
Wade gasped dramatically, then turned to look at the camera. "Nerds, prepare to soak wet in this story, as the last one that is 'Heroes coming together' already had lots of stuff, including a team up between EMH Avengers and DCAU Justice League at the end, and that was just the cherry at the top which ended huge things, which resume now."
With that, Deadpool turned to the Demons with the forearm blades extended and let out a Wolverine-like roar.
The story title- 'Champions & Wars' appeared behind him in many colors, and that was the title screen.
Earth-1, Star City
Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow was walking through Brand Boulevard, where Prometheus had been sighted. Most likely he'd let himself be seen on the camera, to lure Oliver here.
While Oliver had to be careful and avoid any traps, Prometheus needed to be taken down, so he did come here, after having dealt with a corrupt businessman on the List by the name of Marco Guggenim, who'd some very illegal dealings and was trying to sell properties he'd bought in the Glades two years after its levelling at exorbitant prices even though these properties still hadn't been fully fixed from the damage done to them during the Undertaking.
And he kept making passes on a secretary of his named Emily, who did want to move up in the organization, but his passes made her uncomfortable and freaked her out, and nowadays she was going into stunned silence of shock every time he passed by her.
Oliver had ruined Marco financially, and well…he probably won't be able to please himself to the sight of Emily again, since anyone misusing their power to prey on those below them, too helpless to fight back, always pissed Oliver off.
In his own administration, he hadn't seen anything like that so far, but if he did, the perpetrator would be dealt with ruthlessly.
After having dealt with Marco, Oliver had received the information about Prometheus' sighting in Brand Boulevard from Felicity, and had arrived here, while Felicity had informed Sara aka White Canary too and she was on her way as of now.
And then, he heard a sword being drawn.
"Prometheus!" He said in realization.
He turned and ducked to avoid Prometheus' sword. Prometheus tried to hit again but he smacked his hand away, though Prometheus quickly recovered.
Oliver ducked again to avoid getting hit. He blocked his sword with his bow. Prometheus tried to hit but he got down and tried to hit his foot. He stepped back to avoid.
Prometheus got down and tried to bring his sword down on him but he rolled away.
Oliver then did a flip and gave Prometheus a kick on the chin. He threw a fletchette that embedded itself on his suit.
"Diazepam", Oliver said, "That should slow you down."
Prometheus fell on the ground for a moment.
He fired an arrow with cables to restrain Prometheus but he got up and raised his hand. The cables wrapped around his hand as he had put it in the way.
He cut the cables with the sword and said. "Diazepam. You could say I have a tolerance."
Oliver snarled. "You killed someone I knew."
"Happens to a lot of people around you. Interesting, isn't it?" Prometheus asked, before swinging his sword as Oliver ducked to avoid, then blocked with his bow, and punched but Prometheus easily blocked.
"Enough!" Prometheus said as Oliver flipped away but Prometheus kicked him and he crashed through a wall.
Oliver started getting up as Prometheus said. "Mei is just one of the many, and I promise you, Oliver Queen, she won't be the last either."
Oliver fired an arrow that Prometheus deflected with one of his own, before a Canary Cry was heard, and he rolled away to avoid, the Canary Cry destroying a wall behind him.
Sara appeared, twirling her staff, but Prometheus threw a smoke grenade down, and it covered the entire area.
When the smoke faded, Prometheus was gone, as Oliver was fully helped up by Sara. "Damn it! Escaped again!"
"We'll get him soon", Sara snarled.
Middle-earth
Sora, Donald and Goofy were on a hill now, with many rocks and bushes, looking here and there, as Donald spotted a put-out fire. "Looks like there were people here before."
"I wonder where they would be now", Sora commented, looking here and there.
"Why is it important to find them?" Donald asked with a scoff.
"Like I said, I have a feeling we are needed in this world", Sora said to his two friends. "Because of that-"
"Voice in your head, I remember!" Donald groaned. "But Master Xehanort is preparing for his big plan! Why aren't we trying to regain the Power of Waking again?"
"He is not the only Darkness out there", Sora pointed out, thinking of Earth-7 Sephiroth with a shudder. "I feel this world has a great Darkness looming too, and it threatens its light." He added. "Besides, who says I can't regain the Power of Waking here? Or any other power for the matter?"
Goofy, who'd been looking ahead, suddenly pointed at something. "Gawrsh, do you think the people who were here went there?"
Sora and Donald joined him, looking at some snowy peaks just nearby, as Donald groaned. "Why do we have to go there now?"
"There might be people there who need our help, especially considering how…dangerous it looks", Sora said, and rushed off, the other two following after him.
"I still think we're wasting time!" Donald groaned.
"Or maybe Sora is right, Donald", Goofy pointed out as they ran behind Sora. "Wait up, Sora!"
Earth-21, San Francisco
Clark Kent aka Superman sat alongside Conner Kent aka Superboy on a rooftop, the two looking ahead at the night sky, Conner noting. "So, you're a TV show on Optimus Prime's Earth, really?"
"Yeah, its called 'Smallville' and shows my early years after I first discovered I was an alien, where I did things….I'm not proud of", Clark commented with a wince, thinking of spying on Lana with the telescope. "But it ends with my early years in Metropolis, though I didn't get much details about that part."
"Guess I must be in it too then, at the end of it", Conner noted with a beaming smile, then had a confused look. "So, there's another world with people who look just like us, but they're actually actors who played us in a TV show, which accurately shows our lives somehow, huh?" His face showed his struggle in thinking all this. "How does that even work?"
"I've no idea, the Multiverse is a strange place", Clark said with a shrug. "And dangerous. They're still at war with those Decepticons."
"I bet they appreciated your help against Soundwave, and trying to help with Optimus' cure", Conner noted, Clark nodding at that with a smile, glad he'd appeared just in time.
"Yeah, and now I met a younger version of Tony Stark who is still a teenager", Clark noted with a little chuckle. "After meeting his adult Variant on the Earth where Bart and I were stranded, and he was less mature than the teenage Variant."
"All of this is going to give me a headache", Conner said with a groan. "I just have my team here, and my friends from other worlds, which is another team at this point."
"I know, and speaking of, good work handling Rose", Clark praised Conner's handling of the situation, patting his back as Conner smiled. "Not to mention, using telekinesis? You're getting better."
Conner chuckled and shrugged. "Well, I got the best looking out for me." He gestured to Clark while also thinking of Tess, Jay, Lois, Courtney and his team. "I'll be paying Rose a visit. Just because her father was a tool doesn't mean she needs to be."
Clark sighed sadly, as it made him think of Lex, and how he'd become even worse than his father, before he smiled at Conner. "Good luck with that, I hope you succeed."
Conner nodded as Clark stood up, and hovered in the air, giving Conner a wave that he returned, after which Clark flew off into the sky, Conner watching happily with a smile.
Earth-199999, San Francisco
"This is a dream, right?" Scott Lang was asking Steve Rogers. "I mean, it has to be one! You….you're Captain America, and you're in front of me!"
His eyes suddenly widened. "This isn't about that time with Falcon, right?"
Then Scott realized he'd still grasped Steve's hand. "And I shook your hand too long, sorry about that, Cap!" He let go, Steve chuckling at Scott's behavior.
"That time with Falcon was a great audition, but to keep his dignity, that's as far as I'll take that topic", Steve assured Scott, who took a deep breath, seemingly calming down.
"Oh…..okay, okay. Got it."
"Anyways, we're expanding ranks", Steve revealed to Scott, before displaying a card. "I approached you because I believe you're a qualified and good candidate."
For a few seconds, Scott was just jaw-dropped, wondering if he'd misheard.
"Wait…you mean", Scott pointed at himself. "I'd be an Avenger?"
Steve nodded. "Yeah."
"OH BOY!" Scott cheered happily. "YES! Captain America recruited me into the Avengers! Awesome!" He took the card from Steve and looked at it, noting it had an 'A' on it, and seemed to be some kind of calling card.
Then Scott started rambling. "Before the suit, the craziest thing in my life was the fact that my mother-in-law was hunted by a psycho killer, and my wife having a twin. That got weird. Kept mistaking Karen for Maggie, lot of awkward family gatherings." Scott winced, "Then there's that moment at Cassie's party-" Scott froze before realizing he was rambling, in front of Captain America. "...this isn't helping my chances of being an Avenger, is it?"
Steve shook his head in amusement. "The card is for communication, we can use it to contact you, and you can use it to contact us. You can discuss this with your associates." Steve held out his hand once more. "Welcome to the Avengers, Ant-Man."
Scott grasped Steve's hand and said. "I will show you that you're right to have faith in me, Cap." He started shaking Steve's hand again, before stopping. "Sorry."
Later, New York City, Avengers Compound
Steve, Natasha, Wilson, Rhodes and Maria stood together, looking at holograms of various superheroes from all over the world.
Clint was still on his (very much earned) vacation, Tony too hadn't returned from his break, and Banner had isolated himself in his cabin in Bella Coola to cut himself off from the public and remain by himself after his nightmare incidents, for which they didn't blame him.
They took a good look at many of the superheroes, focusing on Ant-Man's hologram, as Steve said. "Hank Pym doesn't have the best experience with Starks, but I hope that doesn't stop Scott from working with us."
"As long as we avoid an audition like that again", Sam Wilson said with a groan, the rest chuckling a bit at that, before turning serious as Steve looked at the holograms again.
"I've approached the others, they're in, even if they won't stay in the Compound for the entire time like we do", Steve informed them, his gaze on the hologram of Blade.
"So, you were in that galaxy too?" Steve asked Blade, who nodded, while looking at the card.
"Yes, mostly on this dump called Tatooine with terrorists who didn't think they were terrorists", Blade said and even with the shades, Steve could make out the eyeroll. "Then stuff happened, I got this baby", Blade gestured to the hilt of the Darksaber, "ended up in the big city, heard you were around, saw messy shit, then came back."
"Quite an adventure there."
"Yeah, what about you?"
Steve looked uncomfortable, thinking of Krell's ruthlessness, then his treachery, all the brothers who were killed, Dogma's fanaticism, and his own hallucination (or maybe dream).
Seeing Steve's face, Blade knew he'd rather not talk about it.
But then Steve smiled a bit as he thought of Captain Rex, Fives, Hardcase, Kix, Jesse, Tup, and all the other brothers. Not to mention, the blaster and parts of the Clone uniform he still had, as a reminder of that time.
"I made good friends", Steve finally told Blade, and the Vampire Hunter knew that was all he was gonna hear.
Not that he himself had told Steve any details either, as he wasn't that kind of person.
"All right, so about this", Blade held up the card. "You know I'm a Vampire hunter."
"Yeah."
"Which means I can't be in the merry marching society all the time."
"I know, this is a reserve membership", Steve revealed, and Blade paused, processing the words. "You can reach out; we can reach out. It's always nice to have friends."
Blade gave Steve a look, remembering another certain asshole who wouldn't stop pestering him on being "friends". "You didn't meet one of those Jedi with dreadlocks when you were over there, did you?"
"No."
"Good, he was a pain in the ass."
"Well, what do you think?"
"Reserve membership, fine by me."
Steve held out his hand. "Welcome to the Avengers."
Blade grasped Steve's hand. "Pleasure."
Then Steve looked at the hologram of Daredevil.
"I'm not sure what I can do in the big leagues", Matt Murdock said while holding the card. "You people, you save the world, but down here….they don't have any Avengers to save them."
"Well", Steve pointed out as he looked at Matt. "Now they do."
Matt realized what Steve was getting at. "You mean….you want me to be part of the team and operate from here?"
Steve told Matt what he truly believed. "The Avengers save the world, but we will always miss a few corners of it. Corners which even hands like Hulk and Thor can't reach. That's why we need people like you. Heroes, to do what even we can't."
Matt nodded, considering, while Steve added. "Doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing this, because a street can need us as much as the world, which is another reason I came to you."
Matt tilted his head, and if he could see, his gaze would be penetrating Steve. "What do you mean?"
"I know a bit about you, won't talk about it because I know you don't want me to", Steve said, Matt nodding in appreciation. "But…..you're here, on the streets, you're trying to do the right thing, both within the law, and outside of it, in your neighborhood. You can't see, but you don't miss the things we do."
Matt now realized what Steve was getting. "So, you need me to-"
"Keep us grounded", Steve finally clarified his reasons for coming to Matt. "Be the Devil's Advocate, literally perhaps, if needed." Matt chuckled at that. "Tell us if we're wrong, you're the only one who is capable of it."
Matt smiled. "I'll keep that in mind. And", Matt held out his firm's card, "in case you need our services."
"Thank you, Mr. Murdock", Steve said, taking the card, and held out his hand. "Welcome to the Avengers."
Matt grasped Steve's hand and shook it.
Next, Steve looked at the hologram of Jessica Jones, thinking about her sadly, due to her low opinion of herself.
"How hungover am I?" Jessica Jones wondered as she stared at Steve before her, then looked down at the card.
"Not at all."
"Fuck!" Jessica groaned, then asked Steve for probably the 50th time. "And….you're legit? Captain America is giving an alcoholic PI an offer to join the Avengers?"
"In reserve."
"Right…" Jessica groaned, then leaned back in her chair. "Well, you can get out because I'm not a hero, I'm not worth shit."
Steve leaned in a little closer, and told Jessica. "Tell that to the people you've helped."
Jessica blinked, as Steve sighed. "Keep the card. One of us might need it." Jessica didn't say anything, so Steve gave her a nod, then turned around and walked off, while Jessica continued looking at the card.
And then, Steve's gaze fell upon Brother Voodoo.
"Really? Didn't think I would be approached", Jericho Drumm confessed to Steve, holding his card. "Considering this kind of magic's….reputation."
Steve assured him. "It doesn't matter what kind of power you use. As long as it does good for the rest of humanity, I can't argue its effectiveness, nor your intent. I won't say I understand it, but I will say I understand good men, and I recognize that in you."
Drumm smiled, holding out his hand. "I will be available."
Steve shook his hand. "Welcome to the Avengers."
"All of them have achieved results", Natasha noted about everyone they were watching. "And while they haven't worked as a team, except Blade, I'm sure that can be rectified in time."
"Either way, at least the recruitment was mostly a success", Maria commented to them. "Let's hope this makes the world safer, especially after the Ultron and Brotherhood fiascos."
"So many of them", Rhodes commented with folded arms. "Sometimes I miss when it was just Tony and me."
That caused the rest to chuckle a bit, before Steve said. "When we need them, they will all come….they will assemble."
Washington DC
The Secretary of Defense sat on his chair, looking at the document before him, scrutinizing each detail of it, before looking up at the man standing before him.
Secretary Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.
"Well, if you want to start a war, this will definitely do it", the Secretary of Defense told Ross with a blank look on his face.
"More like trying to stop one before it starts", Ross argued passionately. "We don't need another Mutant situation."
Earth-8096, New York City
The alley was empty, only lightened by the moonlight above. Next moment, there was a flash of light, and then, a tall, muscular, black man appeared, carrying a big gun, and having a bionic right arm, with a suit that was blue, yellow, and a little red, doubling as body armor.
The man looked at a device on his wrist, seeing the year and date.
"This is the time", he growled, before looking ahead. "Now it is up to me!"
Middle-earth, Caradhras
Sora, Donald and Goofy stood on the snow, looking down at the footprints, Goofy saying. "Gawrsh, looks like there were people here."
"But not anymore", Donald commented, sounding annoyed. "Footsteps show they clearly left this mountain, and we should leave it too!" Donald snapped. "It's too cold!"
Sora sighed, but did not disagree with Donald's point. "Yeah, we should go from here, the people we're looking for left as well." He decided. "But we will find them, see what they have to say about everything."
"Because of that voice you heard?" Donald asked Sora, and he nodded.
"Are yer sure it wasn't someone using Darkness?"
Sora shook his head with a smile. "No, I felt a great, powerful and warm Light when I heard that voice, so I am sure of what we need to do….I think."
With that, he rushed off of the snow-covered mountain, trailing the original way. "Let's go!"
"Sure…" Donald sighed, as he and Goofy ran after their friend, wondering where their path would eventually lead them.
Earth-205
It was a peaceful day in this world, with people all over living their lives peacefully.
One man was walking his golden retriever dog at the sidewalk.
Meanwhile, a couple returned to the girl's place after their date, and opening the door, started kissing each other and shedding their clothes, being completely naked by the time they reached the bed.
Some kids played with a ball in the playground, while others sat on swings, and two more played on a slide.
All in all, people were having the time of their lives happily.
Nothing unusual was happening, and nothing was gonna go wrong, was it?
Well, a lot!
Maryland, St. Mary's Covenant
A bright light started shining through the interior of St. Mary's Covenant, the open doors of the place all slamming shut. Then, light started bursting through the cracks in the door.
There was a high-pitched noise as soon, the light whited out everything in the area.
Meanwhile, the ground burst open, and out of it crawled something, a mysterious figure of what looked like smoke.
Lucifer had returned!
At long last, after 10 billion years of imprisonment in The Cage, he was free! And this world was not prepared for his arrival, or any other world for the matter.
The fools Sam and Dean Winchester, and even Castiel, might have thought they could keep him away forever, but none of them knew that the Seals alone would not be enough to keep him in Hell, especially considering his cunning.
He had reached out the Urban Legends of Earth-1 due to that breach that had opened right outside The Cage, and bonded with them, with their kills giving him the power he needed to break free.
Due to this alternative way of escaping The Cage, he wasn't as powerful as he usually would be, but it did not matter, for he would slowly regain and wield the entirety of his power soon.
Now, The Apocalypse had begun all over the Multiverse.
Dragon Ball Super- Zero Mortal Plan plays
Disasters erupted all around the world, as many cities now had earthquakes occurring in them.
Other places were torn apart by hurricanes.
Meanwhile, many people fell to their knees, coughing and choking badly due to Swine Flu, feeling their breaths getting shorter.
Galveston Area
Two men and two women were happily swimming in a lake, one guy saying. "Okay, skinny dipping is not as bad as I thought!"
"Told ya!" One woman said in reply, the other guy elbowing his friend.
"You get to see 'em naked too", he whispered to his friend, and he chuckled, the girls doing a mock scoff and splashing water at them, the guys doing the same.
Suddenly, the wind in the area picked up, and as they looked around, they saw a powerful hurricane approaching them.
"GET OUT NOW!" One guy cried out as all four tried to swim outside, grab their clothes, then run off and hide, but before they could even reach the edge of the lake, the hurricane was upon them, violently making them spin before they were all drowned in the water.
Another man was running around, jogging in the morning, having arrived at a secluded area, which is when the ground all around shook, and then started breaking apart, the man falling down.
As he tried to pick himself up, the ground underneath him shattered and he fell inside, the debris of the road hitting and covering him as he died.
Universe-208, Coruscant
The adventure in the other world with the Winchesters seemed to have only just happened in Obi-Wan's mind, despite having been several rotations ago in Coruscant time. He could not purge the memory out of his mind, of the conversation with Anakin, where he'd apologized to him, and he also thought of the conversation with Plo Koon later. Had the Jedi truly changed?
He had believed in the Order. But how many more backhanded tactics would they have to use during war time?
Obi-Wan meditated, alone, within the Room of a Thousand Fountains. Desperately he sought to find a sense of peace. Thinking of the war brought back too many memories of all the Jedi they had lost in recent years. Master Qui-Gon, Master Piell, Master Faye, Siri. Over a hundred Jedi died in the conflict, Geonosis taking numerous lives at the start of the war, too many have been lost in their once thriving Order.
For a moment, Obi-Wan wanted to connect to the Force, push on to be the General the Republic needed, the leader the Clones trusted. The brother Anakin had faith in.
Surrounded by the sound of waterfalls, Obi-Wan knelt among the flora of the greenhouse. Opening himself to the nature of the Force, asking for guidance in this trying time. He began to feel it, the calming waves of the spiritual, binding power that connected the Jedi with the Universe. His mind a still pond, safe from the turmoil the galaxy has brought. He could feel the pond grow bigger, spreading as images of the other worlds beyond the galaxy reflected in the water, images shared by his fellow Jedi as they recorded every experience. One moment stayed with Kenobi in particular: when he locked himself in struggle against the Angel Castiel and felt a purer connection to the Force than he had ever felt before.
He focused on that feeling. Senses going beyond his normal limits, Obi-Wan found his spirit lost among the tranquillity.
That was when it changed.
The waters rippled and shook before fires consumed everything within his mind. Flame and smoke consumed his being, in the real-world Obi-Wan, had to hold himself up from falling forward, sweat glistening from his brow before one final image flashed in his mind, and he opened his eyes in fear.
Anakin ran through the temple's Grand Hall, whipping his eyes between both sides of the mezzanine, beyond the high columns of the vast chamber. Around him, Jedi were losing their balance or clutching their heads, some Younglings even screamed in fear, and he can understand why. He never felt such wave of malevolence, of evil, not since the Son. Anakin felt the pressure, but as he rushed to help a Nautolan stand, he had other concerns.
"Master Skywalker," The Youngling clung to him, Anakin wrapping an arm around the young boy's back for comfort, "What's happening?"
"I don't know, young one. I don't-", Anakin gazed around, but stopped when he felt his breath get caught in his throat. Standing at the feet of the statues of the Four Masters was someone he knew was dead.
A long white beard that went down to the chest to go with an ancient appearance, along with blue robes and crown of an elderly, eight-foot-tall human-like man.
"It can't be." Anakin whispered as he released the confused Nautolan to stand. The Father disappeared from his sight. Anakin turned his head in every direction, only for the Force wielder to suddenly appear before him and grab the Jedi by the shoulders, and Skywalker could feel his touch.
"The time is coming. Your destiny approaches far sooner than I believed."
"What?" Anakin could only stare as the late Keeper of the Balance floated away. "Wait, what's going on?"
"Fate has changed. Become who you were meant to be, Chosen One. Protect the Balance." The Father got father and farther away, until he faded completely.
The Ones were dead, were the only thoughts Anakin had in his mind. How could this be? What did he mean by his destiny?
The Dark Side, its sudden overwhelming power, that has to be what he meant.
What was happening?
Across the Jedi Temple, Yoda too meditated in the privacy of his chambers, when he sensed it. Fire. Smoke. The Dark Side was trembling, sending waves throughout the Force.
That was when he saw IT.
An eye made of flames, and the silhouette of a dark and powerful being acting as the iris, walking towards the Jedi.
Yoda gasped awake, a hand going to his temple as he stumbled to his feet. Something was coming, and the Dark Side was growing stronger from it.
Away from the Temple, within the Chancellor's suite, Palpatine halted his hand over the holographic projection containing the data of the outsiders, Blade and Captain Rogers, when he felt it. Power. The former Naboo Senator stood from his desk and walked to the window with a view across Coruscant, yet it was not the city he was looking to. The Supreme Chancellor closed his eyes and carefully opened himself to the Dark Side of the Force.
Finding himself in the pitch-black void, where his eyes reflected the power of the Sith, Palpatine found himself staring back at a flaming eye with a dark figure acting as the iris. Having been trained and told by Darth Plagueis of his strength within the Force, Darth Sidious recognized himself as the ultimate power of the galaxy, greater than the blind fools of the Jedi, even their elderly grandmaster. None could challenge him. The Dark Side was his to command, as the only true Sith in the galaxy.
And yet, staring back at him with a curiosity in those flames, Sidious felt himself begin to grin, and that grin turned to a dangerous smirk. It was as if the Dark Side itself has come to him.
"Hello, my friend."
Earth-205
Sam and Dean were driving around in Baby, listening to the radio.
"—and Governor O'Malley urged calm…saying it's very unlikely an abandoned convent would be a target for terrorists, either foreign or homegrown."
"Change the station."
Sam poked a button on the digital radio.
"—Hurricane Kinley, unexpectedly slamming into the Galveston area—"
Change.
"—announced a successful test of the North Korean nuclear—"
Change.
"—a series of tremors—"
Change.
"—swine flu—"
Sam shut the radio off. "What is going on?"
"I got no idea", Dean said with a sigh. "But…..so many disasters happening all around the world at the same time? Doesn't sound like a coincidence."
Sam seemed nervous. "No…it doesn't. Almost feels like….."
"Like what?"
Sam was about to reply, but they were interrupted.
"He is here."
The brothers jumped, Dean almost skidding the car, as they looked back to see Anna Milton in the backseat now, before Dean turned back to the road.
"You scared the Hell out of us!" Sam had to say, Anna sighing.
"About that…"
"Who is here?" Dean asked her finally.
Anna formed a grim expression on her face, then said one word.
"Lucifer."
The brothers shared a look of horror.
"Lucifer?!" Both of them went together, then Sam asked. "Like…..this world's Lucifer?"
"And not that other one we met a few months ago?!" Dean asked the follow-up too, at the same time as Sam was finishing his question.
There was a brief pause.
"Yes."
"No, that should be impossible", Sam muttered, flabbergasted. "We prevented the Seals from breaking, so how exactly did Lucifer still come out?"
"We underestimated him", Anna said sadly. "From what I gathered, a breach opened right outside where he was imprisoned, and it led to this Universe known as Universe-1. With his power, Lucifer reached out to that Universe."
"For what exactly?" Dean asked. "Coming in to break him out?"
"Not exactly that. He reached out to these monsters and killers who were considered Urban Legends on that Earth. You'd know them all."
"Really? How?" Sam asked. "Are they doppelgangers of monsters we've seen here?"
"No, but they exist as movies here", Anna revealed, to the shock of the Winchesters. "Michael Myers, Chucky and Tiffany, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, and Candyman and Helen Lyle."
"Helen Lyle? She's a killer too?" Sam muttered in horror.
"Yes, real-life is not like the stupid sequels", Anna shrugged. "But yes, all of these killers are real in that world, and Lucifer reached out to them, bonding with them. Because of that, every time they killed, he gained power until he was strong enough to break out of The Cage without needing to break the Seals."
"Oh boy!" Dean muttered with a groan. "We thought we stopped him, and this fake god of yours, turns out he is still around to make a mess, huh?!"
"And on more than just this world, I guess", Sam added with a sigh as he ran a hand through his hair. "Guess we'll have to deal with that."
"Here I thought I could rest", Dean muttered, Sam briefly shooting him a strange look at that before turning back to Anna.
Dean then asked. "Well, are you just gonna sit there or help us out with this?"
"Heaven is still in turmoil after we found out that Chuck Shurley was not the real God after all", Anna said sadly. "We're still trying to maintain some sense of order up there. So really, with The Plan being undone, and not even being real…..what should we even do?!"
"Try and do some good!" Dean snapped.
"I wish we could, but not right now. Good luck, both of you."
"Hey wait up!" Dean started, but they realized Anna was already gone, and he sighed. "Well, if it ain't good up there, I can kind of see her point, but still a dick move." He shook his head for a bit. "Where's Cas when we need him?"
"Lucifer…." Sam trailed off, feeling a chill run down his spine. "He is actually here!" His eyes widened. "You remember what Chuck said about him?"
"What?"
"He was gonna possess me and Michael was gonna possess you, for a death match till the end."
"Michael ain't gonna show his face after the real one sent him off", Dean said with a scoff, then noticed Sam looked quite shaken. "Sammy?"
"Its just…..with the fake god, we'd help", Sam reminded Dean. "With this guy…..can we get lucky the same way again?"
Dean briefly tapped his brother's shoulder. "Don't worry, Sammy. Me and you will make sure that we take that son of a bitch down… it'll be one hell of a task, but we've faced huge challenges before, right?"
Sam looked at Dean for a few seconds, hesitant. Then, he nodded, Dean smirking for a bit.
"Mission: Take down the fake devil, is now in session!"
Earth-1, Star City
Felicity walked out of the Compound, Caitlin Snow by her side, as she'd come to Star City for personal reasons, and had decided to pay Felicity a visit in the meantime, and after Prometheus had escaped from Oliver and Sara again, there wasn't much to do anyways, so the two friends had relaxed, and were now out.
"I'm so happy you stopped by", Felicity said to Caitlin, both of them walking together, before Felicity's smile became a frown. "Though I wish it was under better circumstances."
Caitlin sighed sadly. "Ever since Ronnie passed away, I just wanted to keep up his old traditions, including going to his parents' graves on the day of their anniversary." She shook her head. "He loved his parents, and when he lost the photos in the fire, he wanted to keep every memory of them alive. Doing that, it feels like I'm honoring him, and them."
"And you never met them?"
"Ronnie's mom died when he was young, and when his dad remarried, he was super close with his stepmom. And then when his dad died, they were all they had. He stayed with her all through the treatment. Despite all the loss, he kept that sunny disposition of his."
"Wow." Felicity was honestly surprised. People have cracked from such loss. "Maybe we should have had him meet Oliver and spread that positivity."
"Or he'd throw Ronnie through the wall."
"Noooo..." Felicity struggled to maintain her composure, but snorted when she saw Caitlin's knowing look. "Okay, maybe he would."
Caitlin remembered something. "His stepmom's first name was the same as yours."
Felicity was surprised. "Huh? What a coincidence!"
"I know", Caitlin said, the two near her car now as she told Felicity. "It was nice catching up, but I got to go."
"Understood. We both know what double lives are like", Felicity said with a chuckle. "Okay, not exactly, but you get what I mean."
"Yeah."
They shared a hug and kiss on the cheek, before Caitlin unlocked her car, got inside, shut the door, started up, reversed a bit, and then drove off, Felicity waving to her.
Then, Felicity walked further on. Oliver's policy was that they had to do a better job at hiding the base, so they kept their vehicles farther away and hidden, along with walking specific paths.
Felicity continued to walk along, passing by a church, and noticed a strange statue, doing a double take on seeing it.
It was a female, human-sized statue of a winged angel in draped robes.
Felicity didn't remember seeing this statue here before; maybe it'd been brought in for this church recently.
But…the way it looked, the statue was giving her horror movie vibes, she wasn't sure why, there was just something….about it.
"Freaky", she muttered, before turning and walking off at a brisk pace, wanting to leave the statue behind.
After a few seconds, she felt she was being followed, the hair on the back of her arms standing up, before she stopped, panting a little.
Then, she turned around, and sighed in relief, not seeing anything.
Unbeknownst to her, the statue from earlier was right on her other side, but she didn't notice, about to walk to her car, when the statue touched her.
And then Felicity had disappeared from the area completely, leaving just the statue there, while there was empty space where Felicity had been standing.
And we'd an explosive start.
Thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer for help and suggestions on the MCU plot, Earth-8096 plot, the Felicity/Caitlin scene and the Deadpool opening, and for writing the SW scenes, and thanks a lot to gussygus28 for writing all of the SPN Lucifer plot's outline.
So, MCU has a Deadpool too. If you're confused, basically, 'Origins' had a post-credits scene showing Weapon XI crawling to its head and shushing the audience. Basically, he got a clone body, transferred the brain into it, new body got cellular degradation but the brain had the healing factor, so he became the Deadpool we all know and love.
He is not the same as the movie Deadpool, who does exist on a different Earth. So, two Deadpools (plus some animated ones later).
Yeah, we're screwed.
Hope all enjoyed the recreation of the opening of 'Wolverine & Asshole', plus the tease of Daimon Hellstrom (who WON'T show up anytime soon), plus my opening credits, making fun of myself, appreciating friends and authors I like, including those who wrote in the sandbox. Plus appreciating the great J.R.R. Tolkien.
Meanwhile, we got Oliver and Sara fighting Prometheus again on Earth-1, while Sora, Donald and Goofy after following the Fellowship in Middle-earth and will get to them in a bit.
In the MCU, the 'Avengers Unlimited' has been made, with scenes of Cap recruiting Scott, Blade, Matt, Jessica and Drumm.
Ant-Man is excited (for those confused about his ex-wife's twin and mother-in-law being stalked by a serial killer, re-read the A/N of Chapter 13 of the previous fic), while Blade and Cap finally talk about having been in the SW Universe. Poor Jessica, and there's Drumm.
Matt's role for the Avengers will be the same as Green Arrow's for JLU.
But Ross has bad plans clearly.
On Earth-8096 (The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Wolverine & the X-Men, The Spectacular Spider-Man), a certain someone has arrived.
On 'Smallville' Earth, doing a little correction. I'd forgotten 'Titan' also happened alongside 'Olympus', and during the ending of 'Olympus' in the last fic, Conner had joined Sora and Young Legends in fighting Freddy, so here, pretend 'Titan' took place VERY SLIGHTLY after 'Hollow', so we got that Clark/Conner conversation, plus referencing HR's sandbox fic.
On Earth-205, SPN Lucifer has escaped, and the Winchesters are in for it, but not just them!
While in Universe-208- Anakin, Yoda, Obi-Wan and Palpatine had strange visions of a certain eye.
And then….something has happened to Felicity! Oh shit! 'Doctor Who' fans will know what happened.
For the opening, added scenes from the sandbox fics to honor those authors' contributions, plus you saw 'Charmed 1998' and 90s Marvel added to the intro too. While they aren't in the series yet, they featured heavily in the trailer for this fic, so they can be here.
King_of_the_Multiverse also has another series of his own titled 'Unity' which crosses over a bunch of stuff like ASOIAF, Warrior and Castlevania, very great series.
HRwriter897 also has another series of his own titled 'Birthday celebration (Tim Drake)/Amalgamation Universe' which is mega-crossover between worlds based on Marvel and DC media, and Aligned Continuity and Bayverse Continuity of Transformers, Star Wars, Devil May Cry, The Witcher, God of War, Power Rangers, Mortal Kombat, and more, its an awesome Multiverse crossover series. And he has another one titled 'Tales of the Multiverse' with two sub-series- one is 'FOREVER HEROES!' set in Arrowverse, starting during 'Invasion', it fixes a lot of stuff and introduces new Heroes, and the other is 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes', set in MCU, starting during 'Civil War', also changing stuff and expanding the Universe to introduce new Heroes, and it's a delight.
FanFicHazza/FictionWriterHaz18 also has another series of his own titled 'Kingdom Hearts: The Blue Blur Saga' which is a crossover between 'Kingdom Hearts' and 'Sonic the Hedgehog', combining the characters, lore and backstories from both franchises perfectly as the KH and 'Sonic' games are covered, their stories combined sometimes, very well-written, an awesome and amazing series.
Cornholio4 has many other great fics, especially about Spider-Man and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Next chapter might come next week, but because I'm juggling a techie job and simultaneously a MBA degree course (via long-distance education from an esteemed university), the exams of which are gonna happen in March, you won't see beyond Chapter 2 until early April, just to let you know, but I decided to get this fic up to not leave fans of the first story hanging.
