It was another african morning where the birds were chirping, the grass was green and the sky was clear.
The king had already waken up to patrol the borders as usual, he was known for being a morning lion, while the Queen was still sleeping, she rathered to keep resting until the rays of the sun would naturally wake her up.
She could feel the warm sensation of the sun starting to feel in her coat.
-"hmh.. I better get going" she thought. - "Ugh, five more minutes please", she definately didn't want to wake up.
-"mom, moom, mom" a tiny voice could be heard with a tone, "moom, are you gonna wake up now?" The small cub said tilting her small head.
The small cub was beggining to wake up early, just like her father, something Nala wasn't that happy about, she knew that if her cub was waking up early so did she have to wake up early.
-"yes, swearheart, I"ll be up in five minutes," she said with her eyes still closed -"in the mean time, take some milk, please"
-"mhm, okay mommy" the small cub said.
She was still too young to go out by herself, she was barely two months now, so she still needed to be supervised by an adult.
Today she was quite anxious because her mom would teach her very first hunting lesson, yes one could said that it was too soon to begin with this matter, but Nala wanted that her child to become the best huntress of her generation, so she needed to start soon, obviosly, she wasn't going to teach her anything dangerous, just to observe hunting techniques.
-"I'm done mommy, can we go now?" She said excited and jumping from one place to another.
The queen slowly open her eyes to see her cub jumping, she couldn't hold her laugh, she enjoyed moments like this one.
She streched herself and slowly walk to the entrance of the cave.
-"Come on Kiara, let's go for your first hunting lesson"
-"yay, let's go" she start jumping again with a big smile
-"easy honey, I don't want you to fall down, watch the stairs" she said
As soon as they both were downstairs they both encounter the former King, Mufasa.
-"wow, easy my princess, you could fall down, and loose a tooth" he said with a worried expression as he saw his energetic grandaughter jumping from the steps.
-"grandpapa, you woke up early!" She said excited and running to his muzzle.
-"Good Morning Mufasa, how did you sleep?" The queen said.
-"good, good, thank the gods, so is my favorite princess ready for her first tour around the Pride? He said excited, not anticipating the next response.
-"oh no, Mufasa, I'm taking Kiara to her first hunting lesson, didn't Simba told you? Nala said.
-"oh, her first hunting lesson? But it's too soon and boring for a cub her age!, that's nonsense"
Kiara couldn't understand what was going on with the adults, she just wanted to go out of the cave she didn't really care where to.
-"Come on Nala, I had talked before with Simba, and since he hasn't have enough time for showing Kiara the whole Kingdom I offered myself" he said
-"what?, he didn't tell me anything!
-"Nala, It is more important that my grandaughter knows first the region than the hunting lessons, besides you know it can be dangerous to go out just you and the princess, something bad could happen, I cannot allow that, you know that- he said with a more serious tone.
Nala couldn't believe what was happening, she had a planned a whole day with her daughter teaching her at least the basics of her favorite activity, but she knew that deep inside it was a dangerous activity and she couldn't risk of going on by herself alone with the future heiress of the kingdom, she needed to with a small square, at least until she was bit older, Kiara was still a young cub.
She took a long breath and decided that maybe Mufasa was right for this time, and also she didn't wanted to argue in front of her daughter.
-"ok, Mufasa, I think you're right for now, maybe the hunting lesson can wait for a month or two" she said dissapointed.
Kiara was looking up to her mother and to her grandpa she just wanted to go out, why were they arguing about?
-"mom, are we going now?" She said
-"no sweatheart, you are going with your grandpa, he wants to show you the Kingdom, as daddy hasn't been able to take you out" the Queen said, she was going to have a long talk today when Simba arrived home.
Mufasa saw his grandaughter's expression, it was so tender.
-"are you taking me to see the Kigndom Grandpapa?, really?!" She couldn't believe it, she had asked her dad a few days ago, but he kept saying that she was too young to walk long distances and that she was gonna end asleep in two hours.
-"yes, I'm taking my favorite princess to a tour, a small one, since they've told me that you couldn't hold up walking for so long, " he then start laughing
" yes I can walk for long!, isn't it mommy?" She said looking at her.
The queen whispered to herself "oh Gods, this was going to be fun to see" -"yes sweetie, I think you can, but please take care of yourself during the tour, don't loose you grandpa, and be always close to him" she said to her daughter.
"Yes mom, "she then nuzzled her mom's leg
-"if you get tired of her, don't doubt of bringing her home or send a bird and I'll walk to you . Nala said, knowing that her daughter had a huge amount of energy that could scare anyone,
Mufasa started laughing - "Nala, darling I also raised my own little energetic ball of fur, I know what I'm doing, don't panick, please. He then start walking away. -C'mom Princess, let's go."
Kiara started to jump and big smile was appearing in her small face, this had been her biggest dream so far, to be able to see the kingdom, her mom and dad wouldn't always have time for her, so she has to spend most of her time inside the cave, at least until she was old enough to go out by herself, but since she was still two months, she needed to go out with someone older that her.
Both grandfather and grandaughter were walking away, Priderock could be seen as an small monument.
-"does daddy walk all the way here every morning, grandpapa?
-"mmh, no princess, actually he has to walk twice, he has to walk all around the border every day"
-"wow every day? Why? Isn't he the King and could send anyone?- she said confused
-"yes, exactly that's why, because he's the King that IS his main job, to protect the borders and the realm.
-"listen Kiara"
-"oh he's getting serious, he only calls me by my name when he wants me to pay attention, but this is too boring" she quickly thought.
-"we were born as royals, you, your father and I descend from a great lineage of Kings and Queens that have fight for this land for years, it is expected of you to do the same".
She gasped, -"bu-, but, grandpa how?? I'm not allowed to even go outside the cave by my own?!- she said surprised and shocked of this new revelation.
The former King started to laugh, haw could he translate everything he needed to teach her into simple words that a tiny cub could understand without boring it in the way?
-"hey, don't laugh" she said starting to get annoyed
-"ok, For now you're a small cub, but in the near future you'll be a grown up, and you'll have to understand your place in the great circle of life, which means, that you'll have to take your role and protect the kingdom from evil"
A blank expression could be read in the face of the small cub standing in front of the former king, maybe lt was a bad idea to bring her over?, maybe she couldn't understand what was going on? Maybe her parents are spoiling her to much? Or maybe they are protecting her to much? Mufasa was thinking quickly.
-"ugh, nevermind, you"ll understand some day, when you're old enough, we"ll take the same tour again".
-"mmh..ok" she simply said "why is grandpa mufasa talking this way?, 'why is he being so bored? I thought this was going to be a fun activity' she thought for herself, when suddendly a streaming noise interrupted. ' what's that?' She thought never ever had she heard of it before ' there it is again'.
-"grandpa, what is that? What is making that noise? " she said with a worried face. "Make it stop!" She complain.
-"huh? What noise? He couldn't understand what was going on.
"That! Listen! Make it stop! It scares me" she wanted to cry.
-when he finally understood what she was saying, he wanted to laugh, -"huh, that noise?" He said almost laughing.
-"why are you laughing? It's not funny! What is it?!"
-"calm down, princess, it just a heard of elephants, making some noise, that's what they do to communicate " he said trying to hold his laugh. That's why he enjoyed to spend time with his grandaughter, she was always impressed with small and simple things and always thaught the best of him, he missed spending time with Simba, but now since he was always busy with the Kingdom he love to offer himself to take care and teach her some stuff to Kiara, something that she really needed it.
-"how?, what did you say? She tilted her head and arched and eyebrow "elph-?"
-"elephants, dear , say it with me"
"Ele-phants" both said when another one could be heard not so far away.
"Elephants, hmmh..why do..uhm..wh...why are they big and gray? " she had too many questions to be answered.
" oh princess, that's a question that your old grandpa doesn't have an aswer for.
-"why? Are you hungry? That's why?
He then laughed -"no, princess, I'm not hungry, listen, you have to respect them always, they're important to the kingdom because of their memory, you always want to have their leader in any mayor event, so they can register what's going on and so they can share these memories with the pride, this way you legacy will last many years" he said wisely looking at her.
The princess look back at him, she ended up with more questions, Mufasa could sense that she was having trouble processing all this new information from sudden, he forgot that she was still too young to comprehend everything, gosh, he even had to talk with words that didn't sound to complicated.
-"C'mon princess, let's keep walking, let's go with the zebras" he said as he walk.
A couple of hours passed by and both grandaughter and gradfather were learning from each other, one was learning the names, sounds and shapes of animals and the other was learning how to be more patient.
"Grandpa, I'm tired of walking, I don't wish to keep walking!" The small cub yelled at Mufasa who was walking in front of her.
-"huh?, you wanna stop? Already?
"Yeah, pleease, my paws hurt" she was starting to get desperate, she had never walked this much previously.
"Mmh, ok, I have an idea, let's play a game"
"Aww..but Grandpa I don't want to keep walking anymore!" tears were starting to form.
Mufasa then panicked a little, dealing with a crying cub was not in today's plans he needed to act and act quick.
-"No, no, let's jut go over to that tree with a big shade, ok? " he tried to reason with her
-"ok, but promise to rest a little?"
-"yes, let's go"
They just walked a few steps, the shadow was to big, and it felt really fresh to be under this tree.
"Ok princess, let's rest here until the sun comes down"
-"Grandpapa, are we going back home after the sun sets?
-"why are you worried?
-" because mommy says that I have to be cleaned by the time the sun sets" she said worried.
-" oh, hes darling, we'll be there promise, but first let's look at the clouds"
-"huh?
-"princess, don't tell me that your parents don't do this with you?"
-"mmh, daddy is always busy, and mom hasn't tell me to look at the clouds.
-"what?!ugh, I used to bring your father here! How - "ugh, I need to talk to him" his expression suddenly changed, he was starting get annoyed, he had identified to many things during this tour, he could sense that it was almost as if she was invincible to Simba's eyes, and Nala,..well, she tried her best, but since she also needed to be the head of the hunting party, that didn't let her to spend as much time as she wished to.
"C'mon Princess, let's look at the clouds, what do you see? You need to use your imagination and find a shape on them, it's easy" he explained
-"mmhh..." this game doesn't sound to funny, she thought for herself
-"ok, I start first, ...I see..humh..a lion there" he said
-"hmmh.. I see.. a mmh.. a flower?" She pointed to a cloud.
"Yes I also see it, ok my turn, I see.. I see a bird.
"Now I see... mmh, a butterfly"
Both continue to find a shape until the small cub couldn't take any longer and suddenly fall asleep, it had been a very long day with too many activities and questions and answers, she usually had a lot of energy, but today it seemed that she was drained.
Mufasa notice that her grandaughter had fallen asleep so he decided to rest his eyes just for a moment, after all taking care of a royal cub was not an easy task.
A wave of air suddenly woke up the princess.
-"huh? Did I fall asleep?" She thought for herself, she then gasped where's grandpa?" She then looked at her left where she could find him sleeping , "perfect" she thought,
She then took some impulse and jumped to her grandpa's belly, "granpa wake up wake up" she started laughing.
Mufasa made a funny expression after all he had been left without air.
She giggled -"you're so funny grandpapa"
She couldn't stop laughing.
"Uuhg, like father like daughter" he thought grumply.
"Oh, darling don't do that to your old man"
-"but it's funny!, daddy also makes weird faces when I jump on him" she continued laughing.
-"you wanna play tag with me? Let's play!"
She was having a wave of energy that now couldn't being stopped.
-"oh dear, what have I done?" He thought worriedly. " ok, princess, let's.. tag you're it"
He then started racing taking her by surprise.
-"hey, not fair! That's cheating! " she continued running of course she wasn't going to lose.
-" both of them continue playing until the sun started to come down.
-"ok Princess, time to go, the sun is setting and your mom and dad could be worried"
-"aw, no! I don't wanna go home yet! I wish to keep playing!" She said grumply, "besides, I don't wish to walk all the way back" she started to cry, definetely she was tired and determined not to walk anymore for the day, she was exhausted.
Mufasa rolled his eyes, "Let's go Princess, you can mount my back if you don't wish to keep walking" she's not that heavy for the moment, I can do this till Priderock he thought for himself.
As they were walking the sun was starting to set down.
The king had finished all his tasks for the day and was directing to Priderock, as he was walking he was welcomed by an angry Queen.
-"oh, what now?" He thought for himself, he really had had a very tired day the only thing he wanted to do was to go straight to bed, arguing was not in his plans for the night.
-"Simba we need to talk" said the creamed lioness quite angry.
-"what happened? He said
-"it's about your father, he-" she then got interrupted.
-"what now?, hey where's Kiara? Weren't you going to teach her first hunting lesson? He said looking for her.
-"yes! I had planned a full day of activities for her first lesson"
-yes I remember, oh no-" he then understood what was her point. -"don't tell me that-"
-"yep, your father came right when we were heading to the field, and practically told Kiara that this was a boring plan, and that she was just too young for this, and that he had better plans for today, something that involved a tour around the kingdom and playing"
-"I see" he said looking at the horizon trying to spot his father, he knew that he had to be approaching PrideRock, as the sun was setting down.
-"Simba, I had planned this for days, I know that Kiara is still too young for hunting lessons, but I want her to get involved as soon as possible, so she can relate with the animals, sounds,and- ugh, I want to cry" she said as tears were starting to form.
Simba sighed heavily -"calm down, Nal,"
-"you know it's not the first time that this happens" she said
-" I know, I know, ugh, why does he keep doing this?" He said looking at the sky.
-he needs to stop doing this, is like as if our lessons weren't good enough, and he thinks he can do it better!" She said
-"I know" he sighed again and then mischeviously said to her "Nal, if he's taking care of our daughter.. it means that we have a time alone for ourselves.. maybe we could.. you know" he said smirking.
-"Simba! Not now!" She said rolling her eyes
-"ugh, I needed to try" he said laughing -"ok, let's go find them", they should be by the Great Hill, c'mon" he said moving his head towards that directiong to meet his father.
As both lions were walking, they could spot the former king and their daughter, they were climbing the Great Hill.
-"Nal, you stay down the hill, I"ll tell Kiara to get down to you, and I"ll stay with dad trying to knock some sense on him, I think you should take Kiara to PrideRock, she must be tired for the day" he said
-"what?, are you sending my daughter from top of the hill until here? She said getting panicked?
-"it's not that far away, plus you"ll see her coming down from here" he said.
"Yes, but-" she wanted to argue, but she was getting Simba's point.
-"Nal, I think, we need to try to let her be a little bit more independent, don't you think?"
-"ugh, Simba, she is still a baby, I don't want anything bad to happen to her, what if she falls down?"
-"you'll be here watching her, and I also will be keeping and eye on her from top, I just want her that she could start recognizing all the paths"
Nala sighed heavily this time " Ok, Simba, I"ll be here watching her how she comes down."
"Ok, don't wait for me, please" he then give her a brief nuzzle and started to walk to great hill.
-"Daddy! The small cub said, she was still on Mufasa's back when she spot him
-"daddy you're here" said Mufasa
-"hey, he's not your daddy" said Kiara to him.
-"Kiara, come on, let's get you down" Simba said as he took her by her scruff and then gently put her down on the soft grass, he then nuzzle her, as he usually would do after a long day of work.
-" Daddy guess what, guess what!" She was too excited to see him and wanted to tell him everything she had done during the day.
-"Grandpa and I played and then we walked around the Pridelands and then saw.. we saw a lot of animals and then-" she was interrupted by her father.
-"wow! Easy Kiara , please don't jump around when you're talking I can barely understand you" he said trying to calm her down a bit. He sighed -"your mommy is down the hill please go with her, I need to talk with your grandpapa alone" he said pointing down with his head down the hill.
-"I'll go down by myself!" She was too excited, normally she wasn't allowed to go anywhere without supervision, so this was a big step for her.
-"yes, princess, go, I'"ll be taking care of you from here, and mommy will be looking at you at the bottom, go"
She then walked down by herself looking back at her dad, she saw him nodding his head and she started running.
-"yay" she was screaming as she was running down the hill
She really was enjoying the air in her face how much freedom she felt.
"Easy honey, slow down a bit, I don't want you to fall down!" Nala yelled from where she was.
"Mommy look at me!" The small cub said as she was almost near her mom.
"Slow down, honey!" The creamed lioness ssid again
"Mom!" The small cub said as she was in front of her. -"did you see me , did you?, I was running down the hill by myself!!" She said too excited.
"Yes, honey, I saw you! Buut, you shouldn't be running like that! You could have slipped off!" She said as she was nuzzling her.
-"but I didn't!" She argued back.
-"C'mon sweatheart let's go home, are you hungry?"
Kiara's stomach suddenly made a noise that was heared by her mom, who laughed back.
-"C'mon Kiara let's go" she said as both of them started walking to Priderock. In their way, Kiara was jumping and telling her mom all the new things she had learned today, it had been an excited day.
Back at the Great Hill, Simba was left alone with Mufasa, both lions saw how the Queen and the Princess were heading towards Priderock, the sun had finally set and the first stars were starting to appear in the vast sky, the crickets were starting to chirp in the silence of the night.
Simba sighed heavily again, he hated to argue with his father since he knew it was a lost cause, no matter how hard he tried he never won any argument.
-"Dad, you need to stop interrupting Nala or me from educating Kiara" he said with an angry but calm tone, he needed to win this one.
-"I don't understand son?" Mufasa said inocently arching an eyebrown.
-"Oh, c'mon dad, don't play fool on me" Simba was trying so hard not to lose his patience.
-"Nala told me that she had planned a full day of activities for Kiara, she said that today was going to be her first hunting lesson, they were heading to it, when you interfere and took my daughter to one of your games" he said angry.
-" Oh Simba c'mon, hunting lessons? Really?, Kiara is too young for that you know that" he simply said.
-"Dad, Nala only wants the best for Kiara, she wished that our daughter to become the best at hunting"
-"I understand son, but don't tell me that those lessons aren't too complicated for a young cub of her age, she's barely two months!, she can barely speak well!he said trying that his son could see his point.
-" Dad, please don't make this harder-" he was interrupted by Mufasa.
-"No son, do you WANT to know what is bad about this situation? Mufasa said angry.
-"oh here we come" Simba thought for himself. This was the point when he knew that he had lost any argument from now on.
-"Simba, I'm very dissapointed of you , you know why?
-"what the heck is going on?Dissapointed?
He thought again.
-"I took my grandaughter on a tour, because I knew that "hunting lessons" are not an appropriate thing for her for the moment, I knew that a tour was going to be more interactive and fun for a cub her age, and while we were walking, you know what I found?" He said getting angrier.
"What?!" Simba said pissed
-"I found out that YOU, my son, you don't spend ENOUGH time with your daughter!
-"ugh, unbelivable! Simba said pissed saying no with his head.
-" Simba, I knew that you don't have as much time as you wish but please, she told she has never been able to walk on a tour with you!, I mean you have never before showed her a piece of her future kingdom? Mufasa said suprised.
"Dad, walking on a tour with a two month cub under the sun, it's probably not the BEST idea, besides, she doesn't like to walk for long distances, you think I don't know my own daughter? He said getting angrier.
-"Simba you need to start spending more time with her, show her the kingdom, don't be afraid of her getting tired"
-"Dad I don't have enough time, if she gets tired at the middle of the tour, which is a long walk, I would have waste a day of"
-"Nonsense!, that's NOT wasting your time!, I think spent a lot of quality time with you when you were a cub, you need to do the same, I don't want my grandaughter to grow up with issues.
Simba rolled his eyes.
-"what's her favorite game?Mufasa knew that his son wasn't going to answer.
-"What?" This question took him by surprise
-"C'mon tell me what's her favorite game...Simba, tell me" Mufasa said again
Simba was getting nervous, he wanted to say something but nothing came to his mind quickly.
"It's tag" Mufasa simply said
Silence came from Simba.
-"Son, you just had showed me what a poor relationship you have with your daughter" Mufasa said dissapointed.
Simba wanted to argue more, his blood was boiling, but he knew that he has lost once again, so he tried to control as much as he could.
-"Son, you really need to spend more time with her"
-"I really try dad-" Simba was interrupted
-"well, I can't really see any effort, son, six months ago, you were insufferable, crying the lost of an unborn cub, you were cursing the gods because of your tragedy, you said that you deserved a chance to become a father, and look, here you are with a beautiful cub and you don't pay enough attention to her!" Mufasa firmly said
Simba knew that this was a low punch to his ego.
-"Don't even try to argue back Simba, you know I'm damn right" Mufasa said.
Simba looked to the horizon, he saw his mother coming up the hill.
-"oh great!" He thought "ugh, this is a never ending story"
-"Simba, I don't want to discuss any further, your mother and I are leaving the Pridelands in two days, we wish to spend some vacations in the Grasslands"
How bad Simba wanted to argue back, but he knew he didn't have many arguments to win this battle.
-"what?, you guys are leaving?!" He said starting to panick. yes it was true, he normally skip all this paternal tasks most if the times, his parents were the ones that helped him everytime he didn't want to take care of her.
-"Simba, did your father already told you the news?" Sarabi said interrupting the tense situation, she knew both her husband and son were arguing by the look of Simba he would always be rolling his eyes whenever he couldn't win any argument to his father, it was her turn to smooth things a little bit and calm down the situation.
-"yes, mom, he just told me" he simply said trying to avoid any eye contact with his father.
-"So, I would like to spend some good quality time with the whole family shall we, tomorrow? Can we go star gazing to the west hill? She said hoping that her son wouldn't reject her petition.
-"ugh, fine mom, just because you are asking, and because I know that Kiara is going to miss you in your absence"
-"She's also gonna me miss me a lot" said Mufasa trying to irritate his son again
Simba could not avoid rolling his eyes.
-"Ok, then, we have a date tomorrow night" Sarabi said happy to both of them.
-"Simba, mind if I stay with your father for a moment?, don't wait for us, please" she commanded him.
-" ok mom, I"ll be heading home now" he said as he was retiring back, it was good to know that the arguing was done, now he only was thinking in sleeping for the whole night, arguing with the rest of the animals all time was exhausting and having to finish your day arguing some more with your dad was even more exhausting. As he was walking to Priderock, he was reflecting about the harsh words his father told him a few minutes ago.
-"Am I really that bad as a father?, do I even know my daughter?, should I spend less time with the kingdom? Hmmh, maybe it is time to set up apart some time just to be with Nala and Kiara?, ugh and then the rest of the animals will think I'm lazy! He had trouble on deciding what was the best strstegy for pleasing everyone. "Maybe it would be nice to start arriving at a more decent hour every day, and then.. I should work on that, after all, I don't want my daughter to look at me as a complete stranger" he thought as he was approaching the base of Priderock where Nala was already waiting for him.
She sighed -"Simba, how bad was it?" She could see clearly that he was lost in his thoughts, something that terrified her because he could take some extreme decisions after been overthinking the situation. -"Simba, talk to me!" She said trying to get his attention.
-"huh? Sorry Nal," he said coming back to reality.
-"it didn't go well, right?" She said approaching to him under his mane.
-"ugh, no, I hate whenever he THINKS that he's always perfect and he knows what he's doing and that everything I do, I do it wrong, AND that I end up ALWAYS dissapointing him in every aspect."He said irritated.
Nala listened patiently to his complaints, "why do they always enjoy drama?" She thought
-"you wanna know what he told me this time?, he said that I had dissapointed him for not knowing my daughter's favorite game, can you believe it?" He said
-"well it's tag" she said not surprise at all looking at him, then she understood why Mufasa was dissapointed.
Both lions were looking at each other a fraction of time felt like minutes both knew what was the other thinking. "Oh no", both thought.
Nala was starting to get angry too, Simba not wanting to keep arguing anymore as he only wanted to have some rest after a long day he tried to defend hinself against his wife.
-"wow, wow, wow, don't start please, I know what you're gonna say, I'm sorry, My memory sometimes it's not the best, you know that!" He said trying to win at least one argument
Nala only rolled her eyes.
-"But hey, I,Simba, promise to spend more time with my daughter starting from tomorrow, ok? Are we alright?" He defended himself.
-"ugh, Simba, Kiara is not going to be a cub forever, one day she'll grow up, and will take her own decisions, and you'll wish you could have spend more time with her, please don't ruin it" Nala said pissed not wanting to keep arguing anymore with her husband she quickly got up and walked to the cave entrance, as she decided that it was not worth arguing anymore.
Simba only looked at her walking away from him of course he felt terrible, he needed to change as soon as possible before it was too late, how could he had this attitude?
-"Simba, Simba... Simba!" He listened a voice far away.
-"DADDY!Wake up!" Said a girly voice
-"Kiara don't scream" he said as he opened his eyes, "it was all a dream? Was I dreaming all this time?" He felt relieved and then felt an inmensive sadness, because in this reality he remember he didn't have his father.
-" Kiara? Nala thought for herself, that was the name of her grandmother, it had been years since she had listened to this name.
Simba, we're gonna be late, let's go!" Said Nala hurrying him to whenever place they need to be at.
-"coming" he woke up, normally he was the first to wake up so, it was weird that the roles were inverses.
-"ugh remind me, were are we going too early?" He said as he yawn.
-"Simba, remember I told you I wasn't feeling good so...we're going with Rafiki" she said nervous.
-"shit" he had forgotten, of course Nala wasn't feeling well, he then looked around, and of course he had been dreaming, he then smiled to himself.
-" why are you smiling?" Said Nala arching an eyebrown.
-"Nothing, nothing" he said, " Don't worry dad, of course I'm going to spend time with my future cub, promise not to disssapoint you he thought as both of them were approaching Rafiki's place.
The sun was starting to rise, the wind started to run, and the birds started to sing as usual, a new chapter was starting to begin for the Pridelands.
