Watched 'The Boys' Amazon series and thought this made sense.

Naration (Clockwork)
Time ever flows forward and splits with every choice. In one word a great hero was given a second chance from losing everything. But balance is needed to keep the flow of time. Given enough time all wounds can heal.
New York City-random electronic repair store-midday
A black haired and pale young man was stocking shelves as a news report was talking about two heroes stopping an armoured truck, catching two criminals and saving two teens. The young man shakes his head at the damages and injures. The young man turned to a elderly man sitting at the counter revealing his name tag of Daniel Fenton. Daniel goes up to his boss and asks, "Hey could talk," Daniel simply states.
"No," the boss says not looking up from his magazine.
Daniel sighs and says, "I am just asking for a raise, hell five bucks more an hour. How is that not fair? Especially after being paid the same amount of money since I started five years ago."
"We don't get enough business?" the Boss stated.
Daniel simply counters, "Considering that I am your only employee and work seven days a week both fixing broken stereos and serving the customers at the same time."
The Boss interrupts, "No, you are not getting a raise," with that he returned to his magazine before commenting, "Not like you can do any better than this. A dead beat with no future, a girl who will dump him when someone better comes along. Oh and the fact that I am your only reference for new job," the Boss appeared to have a smug smirk.
Daniel simply says, "That and I am the only guy who can fix the busted electronics that people take from the dump and trade in for credit that you keep giving out."
The boss closed his magazine and says, "Well, you can handle closing the store for the next two months. I got a romantic holiday planned," ignoring Daniel's glare as he walked out the store. The issue with this is that Daniel had already organise time off after his shift today. The boss was laughing the whole trip until he would return.
Daniel finished packing the shelves before sitting at the counter sorting the items his boss had told him he was doing. Daniel sighs as he got to work slowly removing faulty and different circuits. Daniel continued to sort them before he hears a bell go off at the door and he looks to the front door to see a woman around Daniel's age wearing a nurse uniform under a brown coat. The woman stepped over and says, "Hi, I would like an appointment to 'Lay some Cable,'" the woman states.
Daniel shakes his head, "Besides the fact that your parents hate me, I don't think they want me using their rest room. How is it going Robyn?"
'Robyn' shakes her head and asks, "I meant to have sex," she was very clear it what she meant.
Daniel shakes his head before commenting, "My place?" she nods simply and gives him a quick kiss before the pair started to leave.
They were walking out the store with their focus purely on each other as Robyn asks, "Did you ask?"
"yep, and he was an Ass Hole about it," Daniel states getting a tired look from Robyn as Daniel adds, "He also took my time off," Robyn sighs.
Robyn then proceed to say, "Well if we want move in together?"
"Then we just need to save enough money for a moving truck," Robyn blinked before Daniel continued, Look I know my place is not exactly common, but I have plenty space."
Robyn nods before stating, "I was thinking, more the suburbs instead of the basement of the Apartment building that you act as the handy man for."
Daniel chuckles and says, "Well how about we get some dinner and then we can," they were about to cross the street as suddenly Daniel's eyes widen before he suddenly pulled Robyn back to the curb as she scream in horrific pain as a blue figure ran through her legs below the knees. Robyn was screaming as Daniel looked to the man who 'ran' through Robyn's legs.
The blue dressed man looked to the covered in large sploshes of Robyn's blood fixing his glasses, saying, "I can't stop," completely wired and repeating himself before he ran again.
"Wait you need to take her to a hospital!" shouting after the 'hero' who never came back. "Butter Snatch!" before ripping his long sleeve and ripped it in two before binding both stumps before pulling out a phone and calling an Ambulance.
Three weeks later-New York Hospital-Midday
Daniel sat next to Robyn in a hospital bed, as Daniel checked his phone and frowns, Daniel could only sigh as he looks to his phone in frustration before putting it away he sits back really needing a coffee when a man in a suit arrives holding papers, "Are you Daniel Fenton?"
Daniel looks at the man, who is obviously a lawyer and says, "Hello, I am a representative of VOUGHT, and I have some Documents for you to sign. While the Doctors handle the patient."
Daniel frowns before asking, "What documents?"
"The NDA, Non Disclosure Agreement to discuss what happened to the patient," the lawyer states, "We are offering forty five thousand dollars to take no further action."
"Then why are some Doctors showing up?" Daniel asks.
"The patients Parents have agreed to take her off life support," the Lawyer states.
"What?" Robyn states as she opens her eyes in tired shock.
"She woke two hours ago and I have been calling and messaging her parents," Daniel states as he raised his phone up.
"Then a mistake has been made, they just signed the NDA and agreed to turn off the Life Support," the Lawyer states as Robyn closed her eyes as her parents entered the room with the Doctor who had an annoyed look on their face.
Robyn's father looked at Daniel and growls, "What are you doing here? After what you did to her!"
Daniel sighs and says, "She was almost killed by A-Train."
"Why did you have her in the middle of the street!?" Robyn's mother shouts.
"Why are you trying to turn off Robyn's life support?" Daniel asks, "Haven't you checked you voice mail or phones?"
"We have never liked you! And because of you our Daughter is never going to wake! Now get out of our lives!" Robyn's father simply states before adding, "and if you did care at all about our Daughter, you would leave her alone."
Daniel was silent before Robyn spoke, "Are they always like this?" Daniel said nothing as her parent's rushed to her side only to be pushed aside as Robyn says, "What is wrong with you two? He has done nothing to hurt me and you both think he hurt me? The only reason I am even alive is he pulled me out of the way," her parent's tried to argue against that when Robyn shouts, "get the hell out! I never want to see either of you." Daniel was silent before Robyn whispered, "Danny," Daniel looked to Robyn and pleads, "please, don't leave me."
"Never," Daniel simply states while kneeling next to Robyn kissing her hand and simply whispers I can't lose you too."
The Lawyer speaks again and says, "I understand that this is a bad time, but when you are able to speak to us so we can discuss the NDA and our offer." Daniel glared at the lawyer who was scared out of his mind at hallucinating glowing green eyes. The lawyer literally pissed himself as he run away passed a black dressed man with a thick beard watching Daniel.
Daniel would spend a couple more hours with Robyn before she told him to go home and get some sleep. Daniel though took a walk to a convenience store and had to frown as he looked at almost everything that slowing caused him to shake for an unrealised reason. Almost every product was covered with Vought Sponsored heroes. Daniel frowns but buys everything he came for before heading back to his apartment for the night. Never noticing that someone had been following the entire time.
At Daniel's work place-couple days later-midday
Daniel was cleaning some of the screens as the news suddenly came on revealing the man who injured Robyn. A-Train spoke on how he was sorry for the 'death' of Robyn causing Daniel to clutch his chest with a look on his face revealing his conflict. Daniel shakes his head of the thoughts before walking away from the screens and sitting behind the counter for a couple hours where it eventually got dark outside when he started closing for the night only for one guy to still be in the store looking at the Nanny Cameras. The man was wearing a black trench coat over black pants and a Hawaiian Shirt. On the televisions where another member of Vought's sponsored hero of their main team, the one who can turn invisible with indestructible carbon skin. Daniel thought for a second, 'he must hate electricity,' as he went to the dark haired man and asks, "Can I help you, we are about to close for the night."
The man turned revealing a bearded face and asks, "How many Nannies actually shake babies, I mean actual numbers?" with an accent from the United Kingdom.
"More than the camera's actually catch," Daniel states, "Most of the time it us teens who find the camera and turn it off. But these days you just need some home appliances with cameras."
The man chuckles and says, "I was expecting you to be more closed off. What with what happened to Robyn, especially with what they are saying on the teli." The man noticed Daniel's hand twitching to make a fist. The man the revealed his 'FBI' badge and says, "My name is William Butcher. Could you please come for a walk, I want to show you something Danny."
Daniel grit his teeth and says, "Don't call me that."
"Okay, Daniel, but what I want to show you is important," Butcher states before saying, "Look I know you didn't sign and I have a plan to really spank the Supes."
"What makes you so sure that I want anything to do with this?" Daniel's question was important but he was curious in a sense.
Butcher simply says, "What happened to Robyn is not the first time a Supe hurt someone," with that Butcher helped Daniel closed up the store.
The two started walking towards Time Square as Daniel started small talking, "So, you imagrated?"
Butcher chuckles before saying, "That's about right," they reach time square and says, "Look around what do you see?"
Daniel looked around and says, "A waste of money," which caused Butcher to snort inn amusement and agreement. The reason being that almost every billboard was covered in Vought Sponsored heroes. Daniel then added, "Was this all you wanted to show me?"
"No," Butcher answered before stating, "This is how Vought wants their so called heroes to be seen as. Where I am taking you, is what they truly are." Daniel frowns but his curiosity gets the better if him. With that they walk another couple blocks and into an alley where Butcher knocked on a door. There was an exchange between man and Butcher, where the man comments on Butcher being a cop and not a Fed. Danny looks at him for a moment as Butcher says, "Cop, Fed same thing to these people."
With that the two follow the bouncer into the secret bar filled with those having super powers from several people flying a above them having sex along with several on the ground doing the same thing as the pass, a man the size of a action figure swan diving between a woman's legs and past a stretching man having a foursome with three guys.
Daniel raised an Eyebrow at Butcher who says, "Supes are all hypercrites." Daniel simply nods as they continued into the back of the bar into the security room.
What they show Daniel gives him pause as he asks, "What's his name is here?" referring to A-Train sitting in a booth laughing with another speedy 'hero' about Robyn's 'death.' Even commenting that they swallowed a 'tooth. '
"No," Butcher states, "This was two nights ago after he recorded that apology. As you can see he doesn't care about what he has done." With that Butcher takes a couple recordings before the pair leave add go to a bar. Butcher orders a beer while Daniel asked for water. The pair sat in a booth and Butcher states the plan, "These are all the police reports of the day of Robyn's accident," hands it to Daniel before continuing, "This is the plan, I need you to place a bug inside the SEVEN's meeting room so that we can know everything they plan."
Daniel frowns in thought, "How do I do that?"
"You are going to call them sigh those NDAs and take the money and while you do that you will place a listening device," Butcher states while Daniel frowns at this causing Butcher to say, "Don't worry I do have a warrant."
Daniel nods again before asking, "Do you mind if I think on this?"
Butcher frowns before stating, "Look I only have a limited amount of time to get this done."
"Twenty four hours," Daniel stated as he stood and left the Butcher alone who just bought more drinks. Danny though stopped at a store to grab something to drink.
The next morning-Central Park-Random Bench
Daniel was walking through the park and past a blonde woman crying wearing a grey sweat suit. Daniel tried to walk away only to sigh and taking a sip of his paper covered bottle before taking a seat next to the woman and saying, "Tough week?"
The blonde looks up from crying and cleans herself up a bit before admitting, "Yeah. I finally got something that I always wanted, only for it to not be what I expected?"
Daniel hums before stating, "Sounds like you have a choice to make. Walk away or smash the guy's face in."
The blonde blinked before stating, "I don't know what you are talking about."
"You are sitting on a park bench crying with no discernible injuries. So either you are covering your wounds or you were blackmailed to eat fish," Daniel states before taking a drink, "I know the signs. I can thank my sister for that knowledge," only to flinch thinking on his past.
The blonde nods before stating, "I am Annie by the way."
"Danny," Daniel states before blinking at himself before offering his drink which she shrugs and took a sip only to cough.
Annie opened the paper bag to find, "Canadian Maple Syrup?"
"Yeah I know, I think I have a problem," Daniel states like he was talking about something considered more dangerous to his liver.
Annie tried, she really tried to stop herself, before she burst into laughter. When Annie calms down and takes another sip before stating, "it is a bit early for alcohol," Daniel blinked before nodding inn understanding as he realised his slip before Annie continued. "How did you know about 'fish'?"
Daniel simply says, "So it was a woman?" Annie blinks before blushing and shaking her head 'no' causing Daniel blinks before Daniel continued, "Sorry for assuming and the language. I haven't slept over a day."
Annie nods before asking, "Are you okay?"
"Not really. My girlfriend is in hospital due to negligence and now everything is going black and white instead of grey. I feel like I am going to do something that I really don't want to do," Daniel states.
"Nothing illegal, right?" Annie asks.
Daniel shakes his head and says, "No, but it will bring up a big part of my past that has not seen the light of day for ten years."
Annie simply nods before asking, "Would it hurt anyone to try?"
"Are you going to give up and left the bad guy win?" Daniel countered and watched her eyes widened before she nods and stands.
"Thank you, and no, I am not going to let the bag guy win," Annie starts to walk away only to pause and say, "and I hope the guy who hurt you is the one hurt." Annie returns to her original morning jog.
Daniel sat on the bench for a bit longer before attempting to take a sip of syrup only to groan and say, "She took my syrup," groaning to himself only to laugh before thinking about everything they talked about and made a quick stop before returning to the bar and agreeing to Butcher's plan.
Bar Restroom
Daniel dials the number he had been given and spoke to a completely different person, "Mister Fenton, I am so glad you have reconsidered the offer."
Daniel simply says in a tired voice and says, "Yeah look, with everything that happened, I need a direct apology from A-Train, and I want it in the Seven's meeting room," Butcher made some gestures indicating crying where Daniel, "Robyn always wanted to meet the Seven and that now that she 'can't.' I just want to at least do this in her memory."
"I am sorry but that would not be possible," The man stated before hanging up.
Daniel rolled his eyes while Butcher said, "Give it a couple minutes."
"Yeah, now they are going to pay up," Daniel states simply as they wait.
A couple minutes later, Danny answered his phone as the 'lawyer' spoke again and says, "Mister Fenton, I apologise. My phone was knocked out my hand. I have spoke with my superiors and they have agreed to your request."
"Good, it will go great with the hundred thousand dollars," Daniel states getting wide eyes from Butcher before Daniel explained, "Well thought about how I was going to not bother getting any money from you but then I thought, I am very emotional and frankly I don't like you."
Butcher looks at him like he is crazy before the Lawyer states, "I will finalise everything and call you with the details."
With that the call ended with Butcher blinking before stating, "How did you manage to get them to almost triple what they were offering?"
Daniel simply states, "Well, if that jerk didn't hang up on me he would have known I didn't want the money." Daniel then thought for a couple moments before stating, "What now?"
Butcher nods before stating the plan, "Once you get the details," he hands Daniel a piece of paper, "Call me to pick you up and I will take you to the tower and with the finalised plan."
Daniel nods before going to visit Robyn in the Hospital and waited two days for the call.
Week Later-Vought Tower-Butcher's car
Butcher parked his car and had Daniel hand over his phone as Butcher says, "you ask to use the bog, you remove the sticker on the device and flush the cover down the toilet and then as you are signing the document you stick it to the meeting table and come back down for pick up."
"Yeah," Daniel simply states calmly as he looks to the building calmly.
Butcher looked at him with limited concern and says, "I need you to be calm. One wrong move and," he didn't finished as Daniel raised a hand.
Daniel simply says, "I have to do this," before taking his recovered phone and walking into Vought Tower and had to remove a bracelet, his keys, wallet and phone as he went through the scanner which beeped Daniel to the security office, "I a couple pins in my thigh," with that the security members did a pat down found nothing and was led into the tower after he recovered his possessions.
Vought Tower-Seven's meeting room-hour later.
Daniel sat in the room with a large 'V' desk with the top right end of the desk was bare of any chair. Daniel pulled out his phone checked his messages before putting it away with the listening device in his hand removed the sticker with one hand, having done it before. Daniel stood as a blonde Female executive along with the lawyer he spoke too, a red haired woman and A-Train. Daniel stood only to appear to fall down placing the listening device under the desk as he climbed up shaking his leg. "Sorry, leg fell asleep," he rubbed his leg rubbing ash on his jeans.
The Blonde executive came over and shakes hands with Daniel's free hand and says, "I am Madelin Stilwell, head of our super hero division."
"Daniel Fenton, nice pharmaceutical company you have here," Daniel states simply as he introduces himself.
Madeline laughs lightly before saying, "Super Heroes are our business. Let me introduce the Fastest Man Alive, A-Train."
Daniel stood still staring at the 'Hero' as A-Train spoke, "You have my deepest apologies for what happened to Rachel her Death was an accident," before offering a hand shake in support.
Daniel stares at A-Train with a clenched jaw and says, "Yeah, you were saving lives," A-Train went to pull his hand away only for Daniel not letting go. Daniel adds, "Robyn's physical therapy has been going well since you cut off her Fudging legs," before suddenly punching A-Train in the face knocking him out, turns out he has a glass jaw. Daniel looks to Stilwell and says, "How the hell did he not know Robyn's name or even the fact that he didn't kill her?"
Stilwell blinks before glaring at the lawyer and shouts, "How did this mistake happen?" Daniel was actually surprised that she was being honest.
The lawyer spoke, "We received a copy of the Death Certificate the day it happened," handing a copy of the document.
Stilwell looked at the document and after a quick look sighs and says, "This is for someone who died three weeks before A-Train ran into this Robyn. Double the money we are paying Mister Fenton, organise payments to Robyn's recovery and the money comes from A-Train's pay." Stilwell then turns to Daniel and says, "I apologise for this drastic mistake it should not have happened."
Daniel nods and says, "It is fine, general incompetence causes more issues then it is worth though."
Stilwell nods before stating, "Well it appears I will be making comments to HR. Until then I hope that you will still be signing the Non disclosure Agreement?"
Daniel nods before stating, "Yeah, just let me read it first. The lawyer you sent did not leave me a copy to read before signing." Steelwell nods and once Daniel read through it he says, "This non disclosure states that I cannot report the reason to the payment to the IRS. It also states that i cannot speak about the death of the person in question," pointing to the sections of the document.
Steelwell looked to the sweating Lawyer and says, "You are fired." She then turns to Daniel and says, "Would you be willing to wait in my office as speak with our Legal Team to re-write this document."
Daniel nods and says, "That is fine, just don't have me wait too long," with that Daniel was led to Stilwell office leaving A-Train unconscious on the floor while the listening device was pulled from the bottom of the 'V' table.
Daniel waited in the office his bracelet missing as he waited. The door opened where a blonde man wearing a blue bodysuit and an American Flag acting as a cape and says, "Danny right."
"Daniel," states with a light glare before stating, "And you are?"
The flag man laughed and decided 'play' along, "Homelander," introducing himself with a nod before adding, "Nice right hook by the way. A-Train won't live what you did."
Daniel raised his eyebrow and says, "You think the fastest man alive would notice he was getting punched in the face," Daniel looks at Homelander and asks, "Can I do something for you?"
"Yeah you can sign the original documents," Homelander states with a smile.
Daniel looks around and says, "Well as there is no plastic on anything and the fact that Stilwell is about to enter her office with the actual document, you can take your empty threats and walk away."
Before Homelander could use any of his powers to silence Daniel, Stilwell entered the room giving him pause. Stilwell says, "Homelander it is good to see you again. I take it you were greeting our guest."
Homelander smiles and says, "of course, I was just about to offer Danny here an autograph."
Daniel simply says, "I am afraid I have to refuse. I am not the biggest fan of heroes at the moment."
Homelander stared at Daniel with a clenched jaw. Stilwell spoke up again, "I take it you want to read this?"
"Yes," Daniel answered and looked from the NDA and nods as he says, "This all appears to be in order. Do you have a pen?" with that Daniel signed the document before being escorted out the building missing Annie wearing a white hero suit blinking at the sight of Danny as he entered the elevator.
Annie walked forward and bumps into Homelander outside the meeting room where A-Train was still unconscious. Annie asks, "What happened?"
Homelander simply states, "Well someone A-Train saved was upset because they did it wrong punched A-Train in the face. Talk about ungrateful people right? What do you think Starlight?" he asked Annie.
Starlight simply asks, "Is he okay?" pointing to A-Train.
Homelander laughs and says, "He is fine. Can handle running at high speed but surprise the guy and this happens. Not often but it happens."
Starlight nods before saying, "Should we call someone?" Homelander waved her off before leaving to fly off. Starlight then walked towards Stilwell's office to see the executive and the red haired assistant to ask, "Who was that man who was escorted out by security?"
"Daniel Fenton," Stilwell answered before stating, "Due to a legal mistakes and a failed apology we had to pay a large amount to ensure the legitimacy of Vought."
"Legitiacy?" Starlight questioned in shock.
Stilwell simply says, "We had been under the assumption that A-Train accidently killed a civilian while chasing a group of robbers."
"Is that Vought does? Cover everything up?" Starlight questioned.
Stilwell sighs before stating, "Considering he is a majority share holder in Masters Incorperated, which is a company that has been gunning for Vought for the last twenty years. This is the best I can do without having disband the Seven to ensure that Vought not taken from my boss." Starlight blinks before Stilwell continues, "Two Hundred Thousand Dollars is pocket change to the guy." Starlight blinks before nodding and silently walks away.
With Daniel and Butcher-After making a stop at the bank-Daniel's workplace.
Butcher drove to Daniel's work place and parks before Daniel says, "The reason I took the money was to bring notice to you by the way."
Butcher shakes his head and says, "It's fine. It was a smart move. If I didn't know any better I would say that you have done this before."
Daniel nods before pulling out a Phone like device he hid in the seat and says, "I bugged Stilwell's office, the Seven's meeting room and the hall way between. You should be able to listen in for a couple months. Later." Daniel steps out the car and opens the shop for the rest of the day leaving a stunned Butcher to drive away. He drove half a dozen blocks when he noticed something suddenly flipped up several teenage school girls' skirts heading back the way he had come from.
That evening-Daniel's workplace-just after closing time.
Daniel sat behind the counter sorting circuits and other such miniature equipment as the last customer left after buying batteries. Daniel sighs deeply giving it a couple minutes before going to lock the front door for the night. Daniel sighs once again as the door bell and says, "We are closed," he turns to face the 'customer' only no one was seen at least in a normal sense before Daniel comments, "We may have a reduced policy in regards to lack of clothes, but it does not include revealing your genitals," looking directly into the eyes of the invisible man in front of him.
The invisible guy in front on Daniel suddenly grabbed Daniel's shirt pulling him forward as he shows Butcher's listening device. The guy speaks, "You think you can mess with the Seven?" before slamming Daniel's head into the counter cracking the glass but not causing Daniel to bleed. Daniel appeared dazed as he was thrown to the floor. The invisible guy stepped away from Daniel and yanks a television of the wall causing sparks as he raised it above his head, "We are the other Fucking Seven, Earth's most mighty. What do you think you were doing going against us?"
Daniel hums before saying, "Well I was thinking, you lot would start doing your jobs instead of, well, stalking women," Daniel was joking but noticed the invisible guy grit his teeth be raising the television higher to smash Daniel's head in while Daniel remains calm.
Daniel just sighs the moment Butcher crashes into the shop knocking the invisible guy away from Daniel and into the back wall. Butcher stepped out his damaged classic car as he asks, "You okay Daniel?"
"Yeah this nude guy has issues," Daniel answers.
"Yeah, this Invisible Cunt is bad news," Butcher states before saying, "Now fuck off Daniel," raising his crow bar with intent.
Daniel nods before heading to the back of the shop to escape through the back only to clutch his head as visions of a private jet was suddenly destroyed by two thin blue beams. The visions then changed to Butcher covered in blood and the city completely destroyed. Daniel's painful visions stopped as he opened his eyes to reveal neon green eyes.
With Butcher-that moment
Unfortunatly fighting an invisible guy was very difficult as he lost his crowbar instantly before getting more bruises and knocked to the ground as the invisible guy had the Crowbar raised, "Any last words?"
"Yeah," Butcher starts, "Translucent does not mean invisible. It means seme transparent," the cocky smirk never left his face.
Translucent as Butcher called him raised the crowbar back intending to kill Butcher when a pale hand grabbed Translucent's arm. Translucent turns to see Daniel with greying white hair and neon on green eyes. Daniel glares before grabbing Translucent's face before throwing him into a wall. Daniel's eyes glowed with power as he looks to Butcher and says, "Fudge off Butcher," before raising his hand and catching an invisible fist.
Butcher recovered enough to move out the way as Daniel was blocking and countering the invisible attacks as a pair of whit rings started forming around Daniel's waist that both raised and lowered covering Daniel in a black hazmat bodysuit with white gloves and boots. Daniel suddenly punched Translucent in the chest knocking him back into a wall where on the other side of the wall was the fuse box for the store, both poorly maintained and powering a good portion of the block resulted in Translucent being violently electrocuted and passing out. Butcher stepped over and tapped Translucent 'arm' and says, "Would never have expected Electricity to work on this guy."
Daniel shakes his hands as the bruises started to form under his gloves, "This guy face is really hard."
"The guy's skin turns into a carbon nano material that let's him turn invisible. Now help me get this guy into the trunk," Butcher states before grabbing Translucent's feet to drag him across the floor in the darkened room.
Daniel sighs grabs Translucent by his hair and drags him past Butcher who opens the trunk for Daniel to place Translucent inside. With that Butcher got into the driver's seat while Daniel the passenger seat. Butcher started driving and says, "Congratulations you just offed one of the seven."
"Give it a couple minutes before he wakes up," Daniel states exhausted before changing back to his black haired self with normal clothes.
Butcher was silent for a moment to ask, "So you are a Supe?"
"Unfortunately," Daniel states before commenting, "Lab accident when I was teen. Was dumb enough to play hero for a couple years," Butcher listened intently before Daniel stated, "It cost me my entire family, my best friends and my English teacher," Daniel groans and says, "I haven't done this in a while leaning back his head and he closes his eyes in exhaustion. Daniel sighs before stating, "I am going to have to tell Robyn about this."
Butcher simply says, "You can't tell anyone about what you just did. You put a member of the Seven into the trunk of my car."
Daniel simply says, "I meant the fact the fact I am half dead," Daniel rubs his head before saying, "For now though we are on the clock. How can we stop this guy from selling us to his bosses without killing him?"
Butcher blinked before asking, "What is your deal exactly You are both Supes!"
Daniel takes a deep breath before stating, "I was never a part of Vought, or any other company that sponsored those born with powers because I wasn't. Hell after what happened a couple Vought Sponsored Supes where sent to fight me in my home town only for nothing to happen."
Butcher blinked before asking, "What did you do?"
"I quit," Daniel states and closes his eyes as Translucent started banging in the trunk.

Yeah this took a while, as I have stated in other stories, I have become employed and have been taking longer than expected.
