"Hey, Trap?" I called out, looking around the basement only to see no trace of him. I hummed, pursing my lips as I walked up the basement stairs through the Parts and Service Room, into the Main Party Room, and up to the Main Stage, where Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica were hanging out. "Hey, guys, have you seen Trap? I can't find him anywhere." I asked loud enough for Foxy to hear behind the curtain of his cove.
The curtain moves as Foxy's muzzle peeks out from behind it. "I 'aven't spied the scallywag. Sorry, lass."
"No, I haven't seen him either, but he better not be planning to dismantle us again," Freddy growled, ever suspicious about Trap's true intentions.
"Freddy, don't say things like that!" Chica scolded, correcting Freddy's error of accusing Trap in front of Bonnie, his blood daughter, and me, Trap's ward of sorts. "I'm so sorry about that, Noelle. He still doesn't trust Springtrap, and I haven't seen him around either." Chica said as she and her cupcake, Carl, gave Freddy a disapproving look.
Freddy simply glanced at them before rolling his eyes.
Bonnie gave Freddy her own death glare and then looked at me. "I saw him near the Kid's Cove a few hours ago, Noelle." She then goes back to tuning her guitar.
Ignoring Chica's and Bonnie's looks and scolding, Freddy returns to his thoughts, boredly fidgeting with his microphone.
I mentally sigh at the scene since, while I can understand why Freddy acts like that, he could try harder to keep things to himself and be more civil. "Ok, thanks, guys," I smile before walking over to the hidden door directly connecting the Originals' and the Toys' parts of the building through the Kid's Cove instead of traversing the usual maze of hallways. "Hey, Mangle, are you here?" I asked, knocking on the door.
"Yes, come in," Mangle replied from inside the Kid's Cove.
I opened the door and walked inside, closing it behind me. When I entered, I saw Mangle in her dismantled form on the ceiling. She turned her head while her other endo head lazily turned to face me. "Um, Mangle, have you seen Trap around?"
"Yeah, I saw him a few hours ago. I believe he said he was heading to the basement on our side of the building," Mangle replied. "I noticed he was carrying a few tools with him." She looked at me nervously and worriedly. "He's not going to try dismantling us again, is he?" Mangle questioned as her endo head glanced at her before turning itself upside down in boredom.
"No, Trap's not planning to dismantle you guys again," I reassured. "Those tools are for a project we've been working on."
"Ah, ok."
"Thanks for the help." I then walked to the opposite side of the Kid's Cove and through the open archway leading into the Toys' Main Party Room. I continued going to where the other party rooms were, passing by the three Main Toys Animatronics hanging out on their main stage. "Hi, guys."
"Hi!" Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica said in unison, and Toy Carl squeaked at me in greeting.
"Hey, Noelle, where are you going?" Toy Chica asked.
"Basement," I replied as I headed towards their party rooms. I entered the one with the hidden door leading into the basement and opened it, revealing the darkened stairway leading down. "Hey, Trap, ya down here?"
"Hm, what is it?" Trap called out from somewhere in the darkness.
"Mike, Sam, and the others are driving me crazy, and I can't take it anymore. Are you almost done?"
"Yeah, I am. Give me a few minutes, and then I'll be up," Trap replied.
I then heard him packing up his tools. Suddenly, I got an ominous feeling and looked around the darkness for anything out of place, but I saw nothing, so I shook off the feeling as Trap walked up the stairs.
"Come on, let's get going," he said while storing his tools inside his costume.
As he closed the hidden door, I saw a glint of metal out of the corner of my eye but quickly dismissed it as the light catching some scrap metal that had been thrown in there.
We started walking down one of the many hallways to the Originals' side of the Pizzeria.
I then noticed several shadows around the corner up ahead and heard some unfamiliar voices talking in harsh whispers. I stopped in my tracks, making Trap do the same when he noticed.
Trap looked at me in confusion with his bright silver-rimmed eyes but knew I sensed something. "What's wrong?"
I pointed towards the shadows around the corner.
Trap glanced over before we looked at each other and nodded, quietly walking over and peeking around the corner.
I then saw some odd-looking animatronics resembling Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica.
They all had faded outer costumes and bright, glowing eyes resembling the Nightmare Animatronics' eyes. They also had some sort of built-in weapon and several features that looked like bones, even though they were just a part of their design.
"What are they?" I asked, analyzing each of their designs while mentally noting certain aspects and their possible capabilities. I also looked at their invisible profiles to see what type of animatronics they were, which classified them as Drawkills.
"I don't know, but they look like they want to rip each other apart," Trap whispered back.
We then noticed the bunny's ear twitch and move in our direction, so we quickly hid around the corner as it turned around.
"What is it, Bonnie?" Drawkill Freddy questioned.
"I thought that I heard something over there," Drawkill Bonnie replied, pointing one of his ginormous fingers toward the sound as he looked in that direction, too.
Drawkill Chica glared at him and crossed her arms. "Well then, go check it out."
Whipping around, Drawkill Bonnie clenched his fists and snarled. "You're not the boss of me, Chica, so you don't tell me what to do."
"But I am your boss," Drawkill Freddy interjected. "So go check out what it was."
Drawkill Bonnie let out an annoyed sigh. "Fine."
I heard Drawkill Bonnie start heading toward our hiding spot, so I quickly activated my hybrid animatronic suit, which I use around animatronics that don't tolerate humans. It was like a Springlock suit minus the endoskeleton and the risk of death. I then enabled its camouflage mode, which allowed me to blend into the wall behind me.
Trap switched to his Phantom Form and disappeared into the wall just as Drawkill Bonnie reached our hiding spot.
Drawkill Bonnie looked around and saw nothing, so he returned to the others. "There's nothing there, Freddy."
"Tch. Looks like your hearing is failing you, rabbit." Drawkill Chica mocked.
Drawkill Bonnie growled at her.
I deactivated my animatronic suit while Trap emerged from the wall, switching back to his Default Mode. We then looked around the corner again and saw another animatronic resembling Foxy walking up to the group.
I instantly assumed he was Drawkill Foxy because his design was similar to his comrades', but then I noticed the coloration on his abnormally large hook. It was the same color as that so-called scrap metal that caught my eye in the Toys' Basement.
Drawkill Foxy looked at Drawkill Chica. "Bonnie's 'earin' ain't failin' 'im, Chica."
"And where were you, Foxy?" Drawkill Freddy asked, glaring.
Drawkill Foxy rolled his eyes before looking at his leader. "Well, if ye must know, Freddy. I been in the basement o' the scallywags called the Toys.'" he informed. "While I been down there, two animatronics from the other side o' the buildin' came. One o' them been workin' on somethin' down there, but I couldn't see it in the darkness, an' the other one seemed to sense me presence. I believe it be them around the corner o'er there."
Trap and I hid around the corner as Drawkill Foxy pointed his large hook toward us.
The Drawkills look over and head slowly towards where Drawkill Bonnie and Drawkill Foxy both pointed.
Trap and I quickly began backing away from the corner, but we soon broke into a run when we heard them picking up the pace and running towards us.
I quickly got in front of Trap to avoid the Drawkills, seeing that I wasn't an animatronic but a human, well at least somewhat human, as we ran. "Trap, you've been working on our escape route, correct?" I asked, using the voice filter I used for my animatronic suit, before glancing behind me.
"That's why I was in the basement," Trap checked to see if the Drawkills were far enough away.
"Well, let's hope it works," I said before activating the entrance to one of the many hidden tunnels Trap was making throughout the Pizzeria.
We then jumped into it, and it quickly closed behind us after we were through.
The Drawkills soon stopped their chase when they reached a dead-end.
"Where did they go?" Drawkill Chica asked in confusion.
Drawkill Bonnie frantically looked around the hallway to see if they missed something. "They couldn't have gotten past us!"
"What do we do now, boss?" Drawkill Foxy asked, looking at his leader.
"We move up our plans since they know we're here. Give the order." Drawkill Freddy ordered.
The other Drawkills nodded before sending the signal that Operation: Takeover was a go.
Trap and I ended up on the first floor of his base in front of a stunned Mike.
"What the hell!" he yelled, looking at us with surprise.
"No time to explain, intruders in the Pizzeria," I stated, making my way towards the ladder, one of the many ever-changing ways to get to the surface.
"Spread the word about the intruders to the others and stay down here. Don't come up no matter what." Trap ordered before following me.
We then climbed up the ladder.
Mike rolled his eyes. "Ok, and I wasn't planning on going upstairs, anyway," he commented aloud, being sarcastic about the last part, but nonetheless, he went to spread the word about the intruders to the other night guards.
Trap and I quickly climbed the ladder, ran up the basement stairs, briefly passed through the Parts and Service Room, and headed straight for the Main Stage, where the Original Main Four were hanging out.
Trap then let out a screech, signaling an Emergency Meeting, causing the Original Main Four to jump in surprise.
