A few quick "house cleaning" things to go over…
This is a sequel to my first work, "Anyone But Me". If you haven't read it there will be plot points that do not make sense going forward so you might want to go check it out first. If you just finished ABM… Hi! So glad to see you! We are sticking to the Canon(ish) Timeline. This one picks up a few weeks before the beginning of the Deathly Hallows and a couple of days after Dumbledore's funeral. There will continue to be A/U elements and twisting of scenes from the original to make them fit before we go completely off the rails into uncharted territory.
The E or M rating (depending on what site you are reading on) will be earned. Dark subject matter including; emotional and physical abuse, murder, torture, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and depression will keep being themes. I want to avoid spoilers but I am not limiting myself to just those subjects in this one. This has been your trigger warning. I am not going to repeat it before a disturbing chapter unless I feel it is truly needed and only have plans to do so with one going forward.
Spice will be happening, but straight-out erotica will not be posted on FanFiction or Wattpad. Kissing and heavy petting scenes will be sprinkled throughout later chapters but anything beyond that will not be included. Archive of Our Own has the real juicy stuff! If you are interested in the descriptive scenes, you can find the story under the same title and author's name: Anywhere But Here by SlytherclawLuv. I have no plans to change the narrative between the sites. Just the naughty bits. ;)
