Unlike some people, I will not have Naruto defeating any Cosmic deities within their realms. i put some work into this chapter and i hope y'all enjoy it.

Guilliman was losing.
Magnus was simply too strong, his daemonic powers and strength simply overwhelmed anything that attacked him.
The Sisters were doing their best and forcing him back but there was only so much they could do. The Eldari who had accompanied them were being forced back themselves. Their aspect warriors were going toe to toe against the heretic astartes but there was only so much they could do before they would be overwhelmed.
Magnus swung his giant arm, throwing his loyalist brother back. Guillimans Gladius fell from his hand clattering against the surface of Luna. He spread his wings wide as he launched himself towards his fallen brother; he landed heavily, almost crushing the golden-haired son of the Emperor.
"You have failed my dear brother. Our corpse of a Father will die and you will lead the way to his throne. And you will watch as Terra burns around you." Magnus growled at him, he moved to swing his giant staff at Guillimans head.
There was a flash of Gold.
Magnus roared in pain as he shielded his eyes and began stepping back away from his fallen brother. Guilliman looked up to see what had thrown back his brother.
A figure, surrounded by a corona of light and two massive bright and golden wings almost akin to their fallen brother. Both daemons and Heretic Astartes alike shied away from this magnificence.
The light burned those touched by chaos while those under the Emperor's light were empowered. Guilliman stared in wonder as hundreds of old heresy pattern landers fell from the sky.
Their massive bulks crushed the rock and dirt. The light grew brighter before a figure made itself known. A large man the size of a space marine but with more human proportions.
One long power halberd held in one hand, the blade of the weapon was aflame and it seemed to be alive curling around the haft and licking the air.
Guilliman was struck by visions of the greatest of his brothers, Sanguinius and his angelic visage.
"San….guinius?" Both he and Magnus uttered their voices conveying very different emotions.
Then Guilliman heard a voice and a chuckle he knew all too well. Even after all this time, he could not forget such an emboldened tone.
"No, my brother. I am not the great Angel, I am the Kastellan, upholder of Honour and rights." Guillimans eyes widened as the speaker's face finally came into view. His words spread across the battlefield pausing the fighting for a moment as all stared in awe at this great angel.
Blonde spiky hair was held down by a silver laurel crown, and a large vicious golden Gorget rose to cover his chin and lower face. Bright blue supernovas burst from his eyes a single white dot signifying what should've been a pupil.
He hefted his halberd in one hand while the other hand was free; the gold-gauntleted hand was pointed at Magnus.
"Our father showed me what happened to you. And I have to say, Magnus. I am severely disappointed." Almost on cue at his words, the doors to the landers burst open.
The barks of bolters and the telltale hiss of Volkite weapons filled the air. The flying munitions struck the daemons and heretic Astartes head on destroying hundreds before they could even respond. The almost overwhelmed Ultramarines and Eldari fell back as their reinforcements made themselves known.
Astartes.
Loyalist Astartes wearing armour of white and gold wielding multitudes of weapons rushed down the ramps of the transport ships. Some advanced as they fired whilst others wielding melee weapons charged into the fray. There were hundreds of them and they began to cut apart the Heretic warriors.
Others evidently librarians by their psychic hoods began to chant and blast away the daemons who posed bigger threats. These marines worked in concert with their human auxiliaries. These humans who by all rights should not have been on Luna fought like lions.
Guilliman recognised them from the old days, their void armour and battlefield tactics giving them away as Solar Auxilia. They advanced by squads, gunning down the beastmen and daemons that aided the heretic thousand sons. The combined efforts of the Auxilia and the new strange Astartes immediately turned the tide of the battle.
A horde of sisters of silence charged out of the transports, their bronze armour and greatswords flashing in the dull light and bright flashes of battle. They were better equipped and looked better than the sisters Guilliman had brought with him. But they gelled together as if they had been fighting together for centuries, shredding the daemons and guttering out the warp within the area, Magnus could feel himself getting weaker and slower and his wings lost their beautiful psychedelic shine.
The bright saintly figure leant down and offered a hand to the still recovering Guilliman, he pulled the giant to his feet with barely any trouble and began dusting him off.
"Naruto….." Guilliman managed to get out, shocked at seeing his brother almost completely gutting him there and then.
"My brother, finally you managed to get to Luna. Last time I heard Horus's forces were still keeping you and Lion out of Sol. We tried to reinforce you but something went wrong and the warp shunted us back here." His voice was tired but strong and his eyes had dimmed slightly as he spoke with his brother.
"Naruto… I…. We must speak once we get to Terra. It's imperative that I explain some things that have happened. The war has changed." Guillimans voice was grim, uncharacteristically so.
Naruto looked at him in slight confusion but before he could respond the sounds of war horns blaring cut them off. Both he and Guilliman looked toward where the battle was ongoing.
Two massive dreadnoughts had exited the drop ships, their colours were the same as that of the Astartes they fought beside. The two ancients fought side by side and in sync as if they were a single being.
They engaged a trio of Hellbrutes who had taken to the field and were thoroughly thrashing their heretic cousins. The twin dreadnoughts tore through them almost as if they weren't even there cutting them down without slowing down their charge.
Naruto looked back as he heard Magnus roar in anger. The sisters were doing their job and stopping his warp fire from engulfing the entire battlefield; But he was still a Primarch. As such he physically overpowered them crushing any who got too close and forcing the sisters to try to weave around his numerous attacks. They were beginning to lose that fight. And Naruto couldn't let that happen.
Naruto turned towards Guilliman, eyeing him as he flipped the halberd in his hands. "My brother, we must work together if we're going to beat him. I can nullify his warp abilities and his strength, however, I need you to give the killing blow, I won't be able to do it while I'm holding him down."
Guilliman looked at him and then nodded. "Very well, let us banish our erstwhile brother back into the warp where he belongs."
Naruto shot off first, wings of fire leaping from his back as he soared towards their brother. Magnus seemed to see Naruto screaming towards him, he moved his attention from the sisters who still plagued him to the now greater threat that was quickly approaching. He hefted his staff aiming to block the first blow, which he did.
Almost unsuccessfully.
The initial blow almost knocked him off his feet, the sheer velocity of the strike flung his staff to the left, and the follow-up strike cut a deep rift through his chest and forced him down to a knee. Magnus responded with a swift backhand which caught the Kastellan off-guard flinging him back, in response, there was a clap of thunder as a bolt of golden lightning slammed into the Daemon Primarchs chest.
Magnus took the hit, roaring in anger but he was still not beaten, the Daemon slowly began to rise again, his broad shoulders and massive wings were singed and damaged but slowly healing. Everyone knew that this could not continue. He flung an arm wide and a wave of warp fire surged towards the Kastellan. Naruto rolled to his feet, his eyes narrowed as the wave of rainbow fire gutted out before it could hit him or the men behind him. Naruto's eyes dimmed slightly as he looked to his left and right, at his sides two sisters had joined the fray with their nullifying abilities completely stripping Mangus's flames from existence.
"Thanks Veah, Alice. Keep doing what you're doing," the two sisters nodded and Naruto leapt back at his brother.
He caught the large Primarch with a massive left hook, then an uppercut. Each blow forced Magnus into more and more rage. More and more desperation. He manifested his staff once more and struck out, the blow caught Naruto across his ribs, almost shattering them. He stepped back and Magnus moved forwards striking him again and sending him reeling. He stood towering over his brother laughing.
And just as Magnus was about to launch into a new assault, the daemon Primarch paused. Before releasing a roar that almost shattered the moon. But this was not a roar of triumph.
This was a roar of pain.
He dropped down to one knee, the tip of a gladius protruded from his chest. He looked over his shoulder and saw Guilliman, Magnus had been baited so well that he hadn't even seen when the thirteenth had snuck up behind him and drove the pale silver sword straight through one of his hearts.
Guilliman struggled to hang onto the blade as Magnus began to grow, his body getting larger and larger with every waiting second. The thirteenth began to look around seeing what they could use to banish him before he got too strong.
"GUILLIMAN THE GATE." the blonde Primarch could almost hear Marneus Calgar bristle as the Eldari Yvrainne called out to him.
Guilliman looked to where the tall slender xenos was pointing and he saw the Webway portal that had brought them and Magnus to Luna in the first place. It was still open, and while daemons and Astartes were still pouring through there was a chance that they could end it.
Guilliman lifted his blade, allowing it to cut through the psychic meat that Magnus had used to constitute his form. The daemon roared in pain and began thrashing and twisting, aiming to rip Guilliman from his perch on his back and tear him in two.
The armour of fate growled as Guilliman began to heave, he grabbed one of The great multicoloured wings and roared in effort as he began to lift. Magnus began to twist and turn, trying his best to destroy the infidel that was now lifting him.
But he lost focus and didn't pay attention to the other one.
Naruto soared forward, his body coated in a golden cavalcade of flames and psychic energy. He hit Magnus with a right cross and then an uppercut following up with a devastating axe handle. This simultaneously lifted Magnus out of Guillimans grip sending him flying before redirecting his route into the ground near the Webway portal.
Magnus began to rise again, this time slower. He incinerated a squad of Eldari who tried to shoot him, obliterating their minds and bodies. Naruto charged him again, this time however Magnus was prepared for him and managed to catch him before he could do any damage.
He moved to grab the son of the emperor in one massive hand yet he found that he couldn't. The Kastellan who before had grown to the size of a dreadnought now used his abilities to match Magnus in height, both were easily reaching the heights of imperial knights, dwarfing the battlefield.
Magnus landed a massive punch, rocking Naruto's skull however almost on autopilot the kastellan did not stop his advance. He threw three punches In response each one slamming through his guard and forcing Magnus back. A vicious uppercut almost knocked him for six; Magnus swung and missed overreaching.
Naruto did not allow that mistake to be unutilised.
As Magnus tried to fix his mistake, Naruto grabbed his arm and kicked out a leg. A swift punch debilitated the thousand son Primarch as Naruto lifted him.
Across the battlefield, everyone stared in awe as these two gigantic figures battled.
Magnus recognised the position he was in and began to fight harder his anger and fear fuelling his warp abilities so he could try to break free of this hold. But it did naught. The sisters of silence that surrounded them forced The warp fire to gutter out. Extinguishing any portals that opened.
Naruto had enough of his brothers squirming. He drove him down in an image reminiscent of his Wolfen brother across his knee, breaking the spine of the Thousand Son Primarch.
He roared in pain and slumped, his energy thoroughly taken from the effect of having his back crushed and warp energy sapped.
Naruto looked down on his limp brother, his anger palpable. "I have killed thousands of traitors. You are simply another that couldn't match the zeal of the Emperor's true sons. Now, GET OFF MY MOON!" With a shout of effort, he launched the half-dead Daemon into the Webway portal. The portal practically collapsed as the daemon was tossed through.
There was a bright flash of light and a clap of ethereal thunder.
The thousand sons disappeared. Even their fallen and their wizards all pulled away with the loss of their masters. Naruto slowly began to shrink as he realised the fight was now over.
As Naruto returned to his original size a solar Auxilia Tribune approached him, their void armour hid their features from both the Primarch and the Kastellan. They were followed by a squad of Auxilia and two space marines wielding storm shields and axes.
"What is your report, Tribune Petrov?" he said.
The Tribune stopped and saluted both Roboute and Naruto. They then faced the Kastellan and began their report.
"All forces have reported that enemies across Luna have disappeared and disengaged. We're now taking a tally of any losses we may have incurred." Tribune paused almost as if they were getting more information.
"Further report from the fleet. Several ships were seen leaving Terra and heading for here; they'll be here in roughly 10 minutes. However, there's also incoming distress signals from Terra itself." Naruto nodded but paused.
"Anything on my father? Has he contacted anyone in the fleet?" Naruto asked in a hopeful voice. Guilliman suddenly became very uncomfortable.
"The Proconsul Vicistus of the Tharanatoi has reported that they can feel nothing. Outside of the usual output.". They responded.
Naruto nodded, things were slowly coming together. But for distress signals to be coming from Terra itself means that the traitors had arrived on Terra but something felt off.
"Brother Guilliman. Where is Dorn and Sanguinius? Where are the fleets of the despoiler there's no way Magnus should've been the only one deployed to take Luna, especially with the Sisters of Silence temple here." Naruto's questions hit Guilliman hard.
"Brother. My dearest brother. I think it's better we discuss this once we get back to your flagship." Guilliman's tone brokered a sobering respect and hesitance.
Naruto stared his taller brother down, his eyes narrowed. But after a couple moments of tense staring he abated and waved a hand for the tribune to approach again.
"Tribune send a recall message to all forces across the Moon. Tell them we march for Terra." As he spoke a massive gunship landed behind him, Guiliman recognised it as a heavily modified Stormbird.
The ship had been heavily retrofitted. The lascannons which were already daunting weapons to come across had been replaced with an ancient pattern of Volkite launchers. The whole thing looked almost akin to a falcon taking flight with the way its Gull wings sat.
"My Lords…" a soft voice spoke, both men felt the soft yet powerful aura that had filled the area as the voice spoke. Guilliman could see the intrigue that crossed his brother's face as he turned and looked at the imperial saint who floated slightly above them.
"You…. You feel akin to my father, are you also one of his children to whom he gave some of his power?" Naruto asked his voice filled with curiosity as they began moving towards the Stormbird. The saint looked at him, her eyes glowing softly as she shook her head, her ebon hair swished softly as she did the action.
"I am a mere tool of the God Emperor's might. I and my sisters fight for his holy light." as she spoke Naruto looked at her oddly.
"God Emperor? Holy Light? Guilliman what is this madness she speaks of? She sounds like Lorgar before we settled his business on Monarchia." Naruto half-joked, however, Guilliman could hear the edge of concern in his voice too.
Celestine looked at him in confusion. "I can assure you my lord the light of the God emperor shines over us all. Lord Guiliman has been enlightened." Guiliman struck her with a look of annoyance.
"Brother we have much to discuss, however, I must warn you I have only awoken recently so much of this is still new to me." Naruto looked at him in concern as they entered the Stormbird.
Guilliman took a deep breath before starting. "It all started after you had left….."
On Terra.
Captain-General Trajann Valoris was fighting hard.
He, thousands of his brothers and what remained of their ancient sister order fought back-to-back with the silver knights that formed the grey knight order. Their weaponry flashed all across the Lion's gate as they fought a desperate holding action.
Every now and then he'd see the bright flashes of yellow that denoted one of Dorn's sons. The imperial fists fought alongside them whilst their guard held back doing what they could from the walls.
He wielded his massive Castellan axe deftly, spinning it around himself before allowing his master-crafted bolter to bark, massive rounds soared from the axe head. Each accurately punched into a khornite bloodletter and blew their bodies apart, he swung the axe again cutting another in half.
His helm visor identified six other targets, one of which had launched onto the back of an already engaged Grey knight. The Astartes simply grunted in pain as the daemon latched onto his back and aimed to run him through with the massive great blade that most carried.
It didn't get the chance however, as it was soon bisected in a wide swing from Trajann his axe cackling as it seared through the neverborns skin. It howled in pain as it fell into two pieces and the Grey knight nodded his thanks.
Trajann simply moved past him, two Allarus terminators stood in his shadow, their armour slick with the black blood of their enemies as well as the red mists of blood from the insane cultists that aided them.
"Captain-General, our position is beginning to look unmaintainable. Should we begin to fall back beneath the Lion's Guns?" One of the Custodian Tribunes asked, his voice flowing into Trajanns helmet.
"No. We hold this position till Reinforcements from Luna arrive. Prefect Tiberius, has there been any communications from the Reinforcements we sent to Luna?" His orders were swift and hard, Trajann continued to fight even as he spoke, never missing a beat as he cleaved three daemons in two.
Another voice spoke up this time. This one deep and gravelly, "we have received little communication from them Lord Trajann. We assume that they're simply unable to respond due to the warp disturbances." Trajann grunted as he split another daemon in half.
"My…Lord Captain-General…" the Vox crackled from the disturbances of the daemons and the sheer chaos that was occurring on the planet.
Trajann blink accepted the request again. This time filtering so that it came through clearer. It was one of the Guardsmen who were manning the long-range communications and scanners.
"Report Guardsman."
"Lord Captain-General. We've received confirmation of reinforcements. ETA 5 minutes." The guardsman's voice was hurried yet resolute.
Trajann nodded. "Very well." He switched the Vox broadcaster to all bands allowing the lowliest guardsman to the highest of Chapter Masters to hear his voice.
"All forces." He began, his voice not changing even as a Bloodthirster rushed him. One of the generals of this heretical army.
"Do not yield. Dig in and fight. Reinforcements inbound." as he uttered the order, he clashed with the Bloodthirster. His giant axe locked with the club like great axe that the Bloodthirster wielded in one hand.
The weapon was the size of a fully grown mortal, yet the daemon wielded it as if it were as light as a hair. It pushed down upon the Captain-General trying to find a fault in the man's perfect defences.
Trajann barely moved, the servos in his armour whined as he held up the monstrous strength of the champion of Khorne. Trajann shifted and allowed the hell-forged axe to fall to one side, the daemon overstretched and with an unnatural grace flapped its tattered wings to regain its position. Trajann moved just as quickly, he raised his axe, and it sheared off one of the Daemon's wings as it turned to try to block the power weapon.
It screeched in agony and swung its other hand, 3 flaming tongues licked across his armour as its hellfire whip sliced across his golden armour. The hooks at the end of the lashes cut across the armour leaving three long gashes across the chest piece.
Trajann picked out catching the beast hard but barely sending it a step back. It came upon him again, its axe flashing as it spun it in a two-handed grip. Trajann avoided the first blow and deflected the second. Third, he allowed to slam into the ground in front of him; the Captain-General capitalised on this mistake.
Slamming one golden boot down upon the haft of the axe he broke its head away causing the wielder to reel back its balance thrown off for the moment. Trajann moved fast, his right foot cracked off its head sending it sideways. His axe flashed within a couple of seconds separating the daemon's head and arms from its body. He wasn't even sweating yet; these daemons were strong but not strong enough.
The Allarus that formed his bodyguard were tearing through Bloodletters to get to him, their anger at the separation being taken out in a righteous fury on the Neverborn.
"YOU. FOOLISH GOLDEN FOLLOWER OF THE ANATHEMA!" a voice of contradictions called out the Captain-General. The man turned and came face to face with two more Bloodthirsters their crimson and onyx eyes locked onto his own grey ones, he could tell that they could see him through his armour.
Or at least they were trying to.
Trajann glanced behind him, the Allarus were still several feet away and still fighting the Bloodletters. They could come to his aid in about 10 minutes by his reckoning. Trajann reckoned he could fight the two Bloodthirsters for just under 6 minutes.
Then they'd catch him out.
There was a crackle in his Vox as it sparked to life.
"REINFORCEMENTS INBOUND."
A massive Golden meteor slammed into the ground between him and the daemons. The two beasts of Khorne took several steps back yet their anger flared brighter as they realised what it was.
Trajann saw the dreadnought sized figure, he saw the golden armour that was so reminiscent to what his Lord wore during his time striding the stars. A cloak of bright tawny flames licked his back and while it gave off no heat to him the daemons around them seemed to shy away from the flames.
The flames began to morph before Trajanns eyes as he watched on. They turned from a cloak to a pair of massive bright wings. They flashed out, blowing away the smoke and dust of his arrival. Trajann recognised the weapons the man held almost immediately.
Twin Dao swords forged by the Great Khan and the Chogorian war smiths were gifts to his elder brother as a pact of Kinship. each one was almost as long as a man was tall. Their golden hilts were wrapped with ivory and a special Xenos leather. Oh, Trajann knew the man who wielded these magnificent golden blades,
Naruto side-eyed Trajann, a single one of his brilliant blue orbs stared at the Captain-General. It was akin to looking into the warp itself.
"What is your name Custodian?" His voice was akin to a moving mountain. Like rocks crashing against each other.
Had Trajann not been a custodian he would've pissed and shat himself there and then. But he was one of the 10,000. Not a mere mortal in any sense of the word. The Captain-General moved to stand next to him, his armour practically glowing from the heat of the psychic fire, yet he was unharmed and knew this fire would not harm him either.
"I am Captain-General Trajann Valoris, Lord Princeling. We have been awaiting your arrival," he offered but Naruto said nothing at his words and simply faced the two crimson behemoths.
"Come to your death. Allow me to give your ilk the true death." Naruto whispered as he stepped forwards. The larger of the two daemons rushed him, its massive axe falling towards the Princeling's head.
It was barely a movement; he shifted his head slightly to the right and the axe fell short. One of the swords removed the head of the axe, completely severing the blade from its haft. The daemon stared in utter confusion as it lifted its weapon. This confusion was short-lived however as soon after both its head and its hands had been removed.
The thing dropped to its knees, its body turning to ash as it fell. Naruto's eyes blazed as he stared at the other Bloodthirster, his anger at its boldness clear. Trajann fought off the lesser beings who tried to come to their master's aid, he fought back-to-back with Naruto, who was still confronting the bloodthirster.
His power axe sheared through the lesser beings with barely any effort, they were simply too weak to even pose a threat to him.
"How dare you. How dare you and that Foolish master you call a God dare touch this hallowed ground. Humanity is not yours to be toyed with as long as I live."
As he spoke Trajann first heard them. Then he saw the drop pods. All across the city drop pods and landing ships were coming down. As they opened large numbers of bigger-than-average Astartes leapt into the fray, they wore white and Gold with the eagle head of the Raptor Imperialis stamped onto their armour.
With this surprise assault, the daemons quickly began to fall away, even quicker when the large landers began to disgorge hundreds of Solar Auxilia and Sisters of silence. Their weapons cut through the flagging daemons without any hesitation.
Naruto turned to the Captain-General as an Aquila Lander touched down nearby. The wings of flame that had surrounded his body by now had died out, leaving the Kastellan standing above the ashes of the fallen daemons.
"Take me to my father." He said as the holding bay of the bird-shaped shuttle opened. A group of soldiers and Two massive Marines exited. Most of the Mortal compliment wore the normal greatcoats and hats of officers and Line commanders. However, the two Astartes stood out.
They both wore the ancient yet powerful Tartarus pattern Terminator armour. This filled the air with the whines of servos and actuators as they moved towards the Kastellan.
Both Astartes kneeled before him as one of the Human officers approached. She was somewhat tall for a baseline, beautiful yet rugged looking with long bright blonde hair and great sapphire eyes.
If one had looked at both the Kastellan and this officer, they would've thought them to be twins. Naruto turned to the woman acknowledging her presence and looking down at the kneeling Astartes.
He still towered over them, not shrinking from his dreadnought-sized height.
"Gather up whoever is still alive. Summon down the apothecaries and Mechanicum adepts and give aid to anyone who needs it, begin unloading the troops. And prepare for rebuilding." Naruto turned to the woman who looked up at him grinning.
"Sascha. You will accompany me to see my father." He looked at Trajann who seemed ready to deny entry to the mortal.
"That is non-negotiable. Allow Guilliman to see him first then I shall pay my respects." Trajann simply nodded, turning and beckoning them to follow him. Naruto, Sascha and one of the bodyguards followed swiftly.
None would know how much this would change everything.
Within the throne room
Naruto's breathing was heavy. His heart rate accelerated. His skin boiled and his eyes felt as if they were going to implode.
The sheer psychic might of his father seemed to envelop and consume him. He forced himself to look at the insidious pillar of light which seemed to consume his father. All he could hear was the combined screams of thousands. No millions of souls.
A sea of damned souls all screaming for forgiveness and screaming in pure unbridled agony.
"F..Father." Naruto swallowed. "What did they do to you, My beloved father…. Why am I here?" for the first time in almost 20 millennia Naruto's voice cracked.
Tears of blood streaked from his eyes as he tried to comprehend his father's existence.
The light pulsed.
Then he heard his father speak.
"Hear…..My…..Words."
6 hours later.
It had taken the better part of a Terran day for everything to settle down as well as possible. After the combined forces of Naruto and Guilliman had arrived and smashed the legions of the Blood God they settled down into an aid operation, akin to something they'd do when first discovering a Feral world.
They didn't expect that they would have to do that for the Throneworld. So many civilians had been killed and tortured. It sickened all those who had landed on the planet, the squalor had gotten even worse than in the days of the Horus heresy. And so Naruto's forces supported the Adeptus Arbites running patrols and quelling riots anywhere they cropped up.
So when Members of the Inquisition had popped up and started questioning the Astartes, and trying to give them orders it had almost turned into a gunfight until the Ultramarine Chapter Master intervened, vouching on behalf of Naruto's Marines and allowing them to work without being interrupted.
However, none of that compared to what was happening within the palace itself.
Guilliman had met the Emperor first, their meeting had been tumultuous. He hadn't spoken to anyone about what the throne bound man had said but it had rocked him deeply. The Emperor had offered him his blade as a sign of his newly attained rank.
The Grand Imperial Regent.
Guilliman had expected that rank would've been offered to Naruto - seeing as he was the Emperor's trueborn and during the heresy, he had always been proposed as the Emperor's Heir should Horus be successful in his evil machinations.
So, when Naruto disappeared it was a blow to them all. Malcador and Valdor especially, they'd looked for him for weeks before finally ceasing on the Emperor's command, Guilliman should've known that his creator had something to do with it.
Roboute hadn't spoken with his brother after he had left the throne room, but he knew that he would have to be there for him when he discovered the truth.
Now however he would have to deal with the wretched politicking of the High lords. These fools had allowed his father's Empire to rot and die and they'd had grown fat on their power. He couldn't allow this to continue.
And so Guilliman sat in the Senatorum Imperalis. His patience wore thin as the Old fools who made up the current High lords continued to deliver falsified reports on how well the Imperium was doing.
He had been awake for 3 days at this point even, so he knew that half of this was bullshit. That and the way they seemed to idolise and prostrate before him made him sick.
"Enough."
Guillimans voice echoed through the hall. The man who was currently speaking, a priest of the apparent Ecclesiarch. Some pompous fool who believed in their role so much they were almost talking out of their ass.
The ultramarines that stood behind Guilliman stiffened.
"I have had enough of this farce. You all believe me to be some fool who just awakened and believes that I can be taken advantage of?" His tone was dangerously low.
"N...no my lord we would never believe such a-" "Don't Say another word you foolish priest." Guilliman interrupted the man before whatever words he had prepared could fall from his face.
"I want a report from every single one of you. What your roles are and what your administration does. I want it tonight. Then I shall decide who here is important enough to remain." He paused for a moment.
"And who shall lose their positions."
There was an uproar of chaos, baseline humans' fat and slow were shouting and screaming at the Primarch who stood before them, their anger and surprise overriding the fear they'd felt at his appearance.
Just as he was about to act. About to drive his sword into the centre of the room and quiet all 1112 Senators and the High lords themselves. He was sick and tired of these fools who had driven his father's Imperium into the dirt, massacred his father's ideals and worshipped him as some sort of idol.
An idol he would've torn down himself if he had the chance.
But before Guilliman could act, the doors to the Senatorum Imperialis were slammed open. Astartes wearing the familiar white and gold armour marched in, their boots and entrance almost immediately silencing the once shouting, Lords.
One of the braver High Lords spoke up. "W.. What is the meaning of this, the council of Terra is in session. You cannot be-" "Shut Up" Naruto's voice cut immediately through the man's drivel.
Guillimans technically Older brother strode into the room. He still wore the wreath but had fallen to the size of a Custodian, this allowed him to still tower over his marines and the baseline humans who formed up the council. However, he had changed something.
He no longer wore the bright Golden armour he had worn when Guilliman had first laid eyes upon him again, now he wore a black almost crystalline armour which replicated the same designs that his original had.
But Guilliman knew this armour, he'd seen it before when Naruto had been deployed against Fallen Warlords and Marauding Xenos.
This was the Executioner's armour.
"I have spoken with my father on the Throne. He has shown me what this Council has done for 10,000 years in our absence and it has been found-" he paused for a moment allowing the gaze of his unnatural eyes to wash over every single High Lord who sat at the table.
"Wanting. To say the least." He looked at Guilliman, "Lord Regent if you'd allow us to take out those who are less than Satisfactory."
Guilliman nodded and waved for him to continue. They both knew it was something that was done out of respect. Naruto didn't have to ask for permission, but he did so knowing that they would respect his orders further.
Almost 60 Astartes had marched into the Senatorum at this point, supported by almost 150 Void Hoplites. They completely overwhelmed the Lucifer blacks that had stood at the edges of the Senatorum. Even if they had been ordered to engage the Marines and Hoplites they would've refused.
They weren't suicidal.
"Sascha if you would." she nodded and moved forwards, turning towards Guilliman.
"Lord Regent, please inform us of the council members that you would like to be removed." Guilliman nodded and offered a data slate, the slate looked almost comically tiny in the man's massive Power gauntlet. Sascha took the slate and gave a signal.
She began to read names off the Slate and with each member that was called, four hoplites would come down and gather them before removing them from the Senatorum. Some had to be dragged kicking and screaming refusing to be allowed to leave. Whilst others were dignified and were allowed to walk out of their own volition.
After a couple of moments, there were only 7 members left. The rest had been removed as well as hundreds of thousands of lesser lordlings who Naruto had deemed perfect for execution.
However, Guilliman knew what he was doing. So as soon as the last of the old High lords had been removed. The new ones had come to immediately take their places. One in particular fascinated both he and Naruto.
She was the Abbess Sanctorum, Morvenn Vahl. The woman was relatively young and quite tall. She strode past both the Primarch and the Kastellan with her head held high. She paused however as she passed the Kastellan, her dark brown eyes moved over to the General and looked him over.
"You're the one they call the Holy Kastellan. Are you truly the Child of the God Emperor? The true born son of His Majesty upon the throne?" Her questions were sharp and to the point.
Naruto stared down at her, his eyes glowing with unfettered power. She did not yield, nor did she flinch. The woman was strong.
"I am indeed."
"And why are You not regent? Being the God Emperor's apparent firstborn and his hand?"
She was testing him. She had the Gall to test one of the strongest beings in the room currently.
Naruto was impressed.
"My father decided that I have a different role. I would fulfil the role of the Regents shadow, one that I can easily take advantage of." His eyes glowed a bit brighter.
"Is that a Problem?" His voice was deathly calm.
"Of course, not Lord Prince. However, on behalf of the entirety of the Adeptus sororitas, I would like to offer a meeting between myself and two Prominent Prioress with your holiness. If that is alright with you of course." It was hidden as a question, but he could feel the deep request that he was hesitant to say no to.
Guilliman side eyed his brother, he knew it was better Naruto than him as he hated the decrepit religious slog that the Imperium had become.
"Very well. In two days', time, we shall meet at the Convent Prioris. You may have to send someone to collect my retinue as I must say I have no idea where it is." Naruto's answer made the abbess laugh; a low belly laugh that drew a slight eyebrow raise from Guilliman.
"It shall be done. Thank you, My Lord." She curtsied and then moved to her seat.
Sascha stared at her in annoyance. To her, she was simply a zealot and a fool.
She continued to watch the newest members enter like a hawk, her bright blue eyes scanning over them as she stood in her lord's shadow.
The other members also walked in, shying away from the Kastellan in his Executioners armour and taking their seats before the Primarch.
Guilliman leaned forwards before speaking, his cold blue eyes captured and reeled in the members of the council.
"Now let us begin the true business. The Indomitus Crusade."
2 days LATER.
It had been a long two days. Naruto had spent most of it getting his troops used to the changed Terra. It had taken the better part of a day alone trying to get his forces based on the Throneworld. Many inquisitors and other higher-ups had deemed it necessary to try interfering when he wasn't around. So, he had permitted Sascha to use extreme force in their removal from the Citadel.
Not many had come back since.
But now Naruto was approaching the massive convent on a speeder. A squad of Sisters from the Ebon Chalice order had been sent to retrieve him from the Citadel he had taken as his own. They had been staring at him from when they'd left the fortress to when they'd arrived at the convent. They hadn't spoken a word, but Naruto could hear their prayers beneath their helmets.
Naruto lounged slightly in the back of the speeder; he wore a solid white toga that revealed his tanned chest to those who looked upon him. Sascha stood to his right ever present in her pressed and straightened officer uniform, four Astartes stood behind him providing their lord with a powerful bodyguard.
After an hour of travel, they arrived at the front of the Convent. The Cathedral was massive, easily one of the biggest buildings on the planet dedicated to one thing.
Worship.
Statues and gargoyles littered the golden Gothic structure. Massive statues of his father stood looming over hundreds of trainees who were practising within the courtyard of the massive fortress-like cathedral. Even though it was a church Naruto could see the numerous gun towers and murder holes that peppered the outside of the convent. Soon the guards and armoured sisters began to readily appear as they approached the gates to the convent.
As the speeder approached it began to slow down, soon enough many of the trainees and their masters were gawking at the Prince staring at him in both confusion and awe. Some even fell to their knees offering prayers of gratitude. Naruto overlooked them with a semi-interested eye.
His father had shown him why they had fallen to this, and while he couldn't blame them it was still interesting to see those who would've been persecuted in his time living so freely.
After a couple more moments of travel, the speeder finally settled down in front of the convent's massive doors that were easily large enough for the speeder itself to travel through with enough space for two Leman Russ tanks on either side of it. There 6 more sisters awaited him, 5 of which were armoured while one wore a simple black tunic and a long skirt. She was a cute woman who it seemed had dyed one half of her hair white as many of her other sisters did.
They too seemed to look at him with some trepidation and as per usual awe as he stepped down from the Land speeder. When his feet touched the ground, they all kneeled, casting their eyes to the floor.
"Rise Sisters of the Order. I will not have you kowtow before me like some despot." at first, they refused to rise, but then they seemed to realise that even though they didn't want to the son of their god was practically ordering them to stand,
So one by one they slowly stood, keeping their eyes down. The one without armour stepped forward.
"Praise be to your father, the almighty God Emperor for bringing you here in good health Lord Prince. The Abbess sent me to come to collect you and your entourage, although forgive me for my insolence, but we were not expecting Astartes." her voice gained a slight tone of disgust when she mentioned the four warriors behind him.
Sascha bristled at the perceived slight and moved to step forwards and say something but a hand from her lord stopped her in her tracks. Naruto smiled lightly it was almost radiant.
"I apologise Sister. I did not wish to cause any problems with my bodyguard forgive me." Naruto's tone was soft and easy-going. It seemed to cause the sister to panic however as she turned and looked at him directly.
"My apologies my lord. I did not realise that they were the hallowed guardians of your person. IO shall give myself a hundred lashes for my complete foolishness. My many apologies my Lord." Se all but fell to her knees in apology tears started to fall from her eyes and the sisters that had surrounded them fell to their knees too as if the slip of the tongue from one meant that they would all be punished.
Naruto placed a soft hand against her shoulder, and she dared not look at him. "Look at me Sister." she finally looked up at him her brown eyes teary and sorrowful.
"You have not upset me sister." he paused to look over them all and it was as if a golden halo appeared above him, his eyes glowed softly and warmly. The sisters sighed as a wave of calmness washed over them.
Sascha rolled her eyes at the overreaction of the sisters, these zealots always got on her nerves, and it was only more irritating due to the way some of them swooned over her master. It was revolting and distasteful.
She watched them speak for another couple of moments before the zealots finally stood and led the group into the gaudy temple. It appeared that Naruto had dried her tears and was now allowing her to lead him by holding her hand.
Sascha could feel her migraine brewing. If only her sister had been here as well, then at least she could've relied upon her brashness to stay entertained.
One of the marines leaned down towards her, his white armour glowed beautifully in the sunlight all except his left pauldron, which in contrast to the rest of the Ivory and gold armour had a thick jagged crimson scar cutting its way across its surface.
If that was not already an idea of who he was, the thick steppe accent he spoke with confirmed what legion this Astartes had been a part of.
"Khurandaa, it does seem that these warriors are enamoured with the Prince. Wouldn't you say?" he spoke through the closed vox.
Sascha's eyes flicked over to him in annoyance. "Yes, it does seem so. And it is tiresome."
"Oh is the Great Khurandaa Sascha Bilementov upset at some Zealots worshipping their god." his voice was laughable and it only seemed to gather her irritation more as he teased her.
She turned her head and gave him a single-eyed glance. "I suppose I shall tell The lord Custodians that you wish to enter the training pits with them again." the marine paused for a moment and seemed to think it over.
"While it would be a great training session, I must decline the offer Khurandaa, i still have sores from the last mass training session." there was a snort from the other Marine as they continued to walk through the chapel.
The other marine wore the same armour scheme however his was much heavier in design, being bulkier and visibly having more armoured plates added to it. A yellow fist surrounded by a wreath was proudly emblazoned on his left pauldron. His heavy steps echoed through the halls as they moved slowly the eyes of the sisters on their master rather than them.
Then he spoke, his voice could've been confused for a tech priest with how dry and monotonous it was. "She has you there Gansukh kai. However, look sharp it seems we are approaching the leader of these zealots."
From the sister's POV
Many of their number had gathered to view the son of their God. The instructors had allowed the initiates outside for their training so they could be the first to witness his holiness.
And witness it they did. Many of the initiates had simply fallen to their knees when the Princeling had stepped from the land speeder it was akin to seeing the God emperor himself step from his throne.
He was massive, even compared to the Astartes that stood behind him. He towered over them completely, yet he didn't share their almost mutant-like physiology. A broad tanned chest that was only half covered by a beautifully pale Toga. the tattoo of a skull bound in a cog sat proudly on his left pec.
To them he seemed almost to shine, seemingly lighting up Terra itself akin to a second Sun. the trainee sisters and even their instructors were dumbstruck by how ethereal and beautiful he seemed.
The murmurs of prayers could be heard across the entire convent as the sisters prayed in thanks for the visit. Some simply stared dumbfounded, their eyes glued to strong Musculature of the Prince.
High above them all, Abbess Santorum herself stood, watching from a beautiful stained-glass window. Her dark brown eyes watched as the Son of their God walked into the convent.
"It seems the other sisters have adjusted well to his appearance." She uttered aloud. One of her handmaidens snorted before answering.
"Many of the initiates have fainted from what I heard, my lady. Although I cannot blame them, to have the actual son of our God be here among us is not something I would've expected." She said her voice was joyful and filled to the brim with elation.
Morvenn nodded in agreement. "Have the Repentia been informed of his presence?" She asked knowing very well what the answer would be.
"They have. But they have also been told that they will not be allowed to be in his presence due to their sins. They must stay within the dungeons and repent." She nodded at the order.
"Good. Now prepare some refreshments and my battle reports. I wish to do something till the Lord Prince arrives." The handmaiden bowed and left to fetch her master's reports.
After only 20 minutes there was the soft rapport of a knock on the door. With a swift shout of entry, the large double doors were slowly pushed open. Two battle sisters entered first, their armour gleaming in the light of the day, they moved to stand on either side of the door. Morvenn Vahl stood as she awaited his entrance.
And enter he did. Naruto swept into the room in all his grand magnificence, a servo skull accompanied him seeming to have joined the procession as they had moved through the convent.
they allowed Sascha in but the Astartes were made to stay, they did not argue with the silent glares of the Sisters and waited outside. the guides who had led them to the lair of the Abbess then slowly closed the large double doors sealing the Abbess inside with the Prince and her equerries.
He stopped just a few short feet away from Morvenn. His pale blue eyes seemed to wave across her body before finally closing with her own. Naruto gave a soft bow and Morvenn curtsied in return.
She had read up on the man and had found that he when he had been younger had hated people grovelling before him. So she did not, even though it was a tough battle with her instincts not to.
Naruto's voice brought that same warmth that it had when they first met. "I give you my thanks Lady Vahl for inviting me to this great Cathedral."
"It is my pleasure, my Lord. I am thankful that you decided to graciously accept my offer. However please my lord call me Morvenn. After all my rank is still below that of the great Prince of the Imperium. Would you like any refreshments?" She asked, a signal for her aides who brought out several plates filled with food.
Naruto took a large goblet of wine raising it in thanks to his host. it could've drowned any normal human with its size but the large hands of the Prince made it seem like an average goblet.
they both sat down and Naruto got straight to business. "So, why did you wish for this very… personal. meeting?" he asked, his eyebrows quirked slightly in confusion.
"Well my lord, for one I wished to show you the convent that we had built in your father's Name and image. for we are sure that He upon the highest throne would be pleased with what we have done so far. However, we must never allow ourselves to lax." Her fervour grew as she described the Convent and how much the sisters had done so far.
Naruto shifted slightly, his discomfort was hidden from all but Sascha, who stood towards the back of the room with the Abbess's guards and Servants. She eyed them up but did not move, knowing that to stand beside her lord would only make the conversation more awkward.
"Well, it is truly a beautiful convent. I have not seen a church like this since the Unification Wars, although back then they were not as…"He paused for a moment trying to find the words. "As open to religion let's say."
Morvenn sat up at those words. "The unification wars you say? you fought in those ancient days?" her question made Naruto settle back into his chair, his toga revealing a little more of the Mechanicum tattoo.
"Yes, I'll be honest it wasn't the best of times, but I fought alongside the Emperor for years on this very planet. Then we took to the stars and did the same." His words had brought the servants as close as they dared to come, their interest in the subject was clear.
"Excuse me for my brashness my lord. But would you allow this convent to have statues made in your honour placed throughout alongside your father?" her abrupt question almost made Naruto cough up his wine.
"I suppose I can allow it. As long as it captures me correctly though." Morvenn nodded quickly, writing down the request that would go to the best of the Stonemasons she knew of.
"Now. onto the last port of business my Lord. I would like for at least two of our best Praeceptoriums to accompany you on your crusades."
Naruto looked at her in slight befuddlement. "Forgive me Abbess but this term Praeceptorium is new to me, what does it mean?"
Morvenn face palmed, "Forgive my foolishness my lord I forgot you are not used to such words. A Praeceptorium is 2000 of our best sisters of battle, all led by a single Canoness Preceptor; they will be the best fighters you have fought alongside in a millennia I can assure you."
Sascha truly did grind her teeth at that, especially at the beautiful smile the Abbess gave her lord.
