Summary: This is a story from Mamoru's point of view. I always wondered what happened during the Stars Arc with him after Galaxia had taken his Star Seed. I can tell you, he is fairly busy and not dead at all! Follow him on a quite exciting journey through time and space, meet up with familiar faces but this time in a complete different context. Who can support him on his mission? Will he cause a pure chaos with is presence? Will he succeed in the end?
Of course there will be a lot of UsaMamo moments but in a slightly different way.
I am going to update on a regular basis, I've written some chapters already and are currently planing something like 15-16 parts.
I don't own Sailor Moon but I'm happy to provide you with magical fanfiction!

Chapter 1
For a year...or perhaps a little longer than that...I won't be back..."
He turned his eyes back to his little bunny, standing next to him on a bridge, starring to the same moving water as he had been doing a moment ago.
"Would it be okay?"
Her answer came straight after. Mamoru could see her fingers trembling lightly as if she tried to hold on to something when her palms rested on the stony railing of the bridge.
"I'm alright. What's wrong with America?"
He was sad. Sad to leave her for so long. He didn't know if this would be the right decision but when he was offered this unique opportunity to study abroad, he had to take it.
Mamoru knew he was a super hero who would reign over this planet in the future. But the future was far, far away and he wanted to offer Usagi something for this life. She would deserve nothing but the best and thus, Mamoru wanted to prove himself worthy for her.
Usagi lifted her gaze from the water up to him and spoke with a slightly broken voice
„It doesn't mean that we can't see each other forever!"
She stepped a little closer to him and lightly leaned her head against his chest when she confessed
„And...I'll always be in love with you...good luck in your studies."
When she was so close and fragile and just lovable, Mamoru was just about to do spontaneously what he carefully had been planning for such a long time now.
He wasn't a man for the big show. Not at all. With Usagi in particular, he had shared so many wonderful little quiet moments which had meant the world to him.
The time when their future daughter Chibiusa was with them, he had enjoyed a lot, since both of them together had given him sense to the word 'family' which he had never really understood before.
After they met again in this life a year and a half ago and had been through so many things together since then, he came up with the idea of nailing his relationship with Usagi.
When he'd come back from America, Usagi would be mature enough that they could live and spend their future together. There was no way for him to wait any further. She would say yes and he knew that there wouldn't be much words needed, apart from one which expressed everything he felt for his Usako.
"Aishiteru"
He said to her after he had pulled out the engagement ring and had put it on to her left ring finger. In the middle of the airport, a huge public place, surrounded by so many people but they were sunken in their own little world.
Her reply was the most wonderful smile he had ever seen on her. The sealing kiss they shared was filled up with love, desire and hope for a better life. Together.
There were no tears on Usagi's face when she waved goodbye to him and Mamoru knew that this had been the right decision. Without any question.
He looked forward to this new adventure in his life. This time, it would be something normal. Without any fights, cruel enemies and there would be no final battle where any of his allies would have to sacrifice in order to safe the world.
Now peace ruled their life's and it was time to move forward things.
"Usako"
Mamoru said to himself while he was sitting in the plane and looking at a photograph of him, Chibiusa and Usagi, being so happy that it almost ached his heart.
All of a sudden, a bright light hit the plane and made Mamoru to transform as Tuxedo Kamen within a few seconds.
From one moment to another, everything had changed.
Time seemed to stand still when he was taking in a fighting position while standing outside on a wing of the plane, facing the uncertainty.
"I feel it! The shining energy of a Star Seed." A female voice laughed devilishly.
Mamoru was blinded by a bright light in front of him. He managed to speak though
"Who are you?"
The evil voice replied with a firm tone
"Ruler of the entire galaxy, Galaxia."
He had never heard of this title before and neither of this woman, who was stepping out of the bright light.
"Why are you doing this?" He heard himself asking her "What's the purpose in inflicting pain and suffering on innocent people?"
Instead of an appropriate answer, he only received a quite arrogant explanation by this sort of enemy who rather looked like a Sailor Senshi to him in her golden fuku.
"The entire galaxy belongs to Me! I decide on how things are to be treated!"
This selfish behavior Mamoru couldn't let count. With a determined voice he retorted
"The galaxy belongs to nobody."
This didn't seem to be her opinion and it started to get quite dangerous for Mamoru when she uttered
"Do you want to clarify that?"
The bad woman didn't hesitate at all and bursted out a tremendous energy from the two golden bracelets, wrapped around on each of her wrists.
It hit the target completely, merciless.
There was no way for him to get out of this situation alive and when the mask fell off and his shining bright Star Seed was in her hands, the devilish woman was delighted.
"The Star Seed in charge of the Earth! Now this planet is in my hands!"
Before everything went black for him, Mamoru was able to clarify indeed what Galaxia had requested him to do. While he was kneeling on the ground, making his last words in this world, he declared
"I don't think so. On this planet, there are agents of love and justice. Sailor soldiers who keep the peace. They will definitely strike out your evil ambition."
He looked up at the sky now, his gaze filled up with nothing but utter hope when he made his last breath. His very last thought was dedicated to
"Usako"
Before everything could start, it ended.
There was silence. Just silence. Nothing but utter silence. Until Mamoru opened his eyes.
"He's back! Look!" It sounded like a whisper, trying to reach out for him.
'What happened? Was this just a dream?'
Mamoru blinked a few times, rubbed his eyes and finally gazed around. He hardly could see anything since his view was somehow blurred by a mysterious fog.
"Where am I?"
He felt juicy, damped grass, a scent of rain was in the air but there weren't any drops hitting his head, neither to the soft, green ground.
Apparently he was on a glade, surrounded by tall dark green conifers. A beautiful, silent lake was directly in front of him. Gradually, the vision became clear as the fog dispersed.
Mamoru leaned over and took a look at his reflection. He froze once he realized that he wasn't alone any longer. Four other heads where shown next to him in the natural mirror.
With an abnormal speed he got up and turned around.
"W...what?"
He stuttered when he looked into familiar faces...well most of them he had been knowing for a while.
"Helios? Pluto? What's going on here?!"
The both hadn't completed this special group, though. There were two girls, one a little older than the other, one having a little lighter pink hair than the other and one seemed to be the grown up version of his daughter.
"Chi...Chibiusa?"
The young woman flushed and greeted him back by waving shyly.
"Um, hello Dad!"
Mamoru had experienced a lot of very strange things before, but this weird get together after he had been...killed by this Galaxia, was beyond anything he had experienced so far. At least as far as he could remember. Apparently he had ended up in a very strange kind of heaven.
"Right, I guess it's my turn to tell a few things to you, Prince Endymion." Helios cleared his throat and slowly started to explain
"First of all, you are not dead or anything like that. Your Star Seed has been stolen which is pretty bad but not really a hopeless situation in your case."
By looking from one of the attendees to the other, Helios seemed to wait for someone to step into his story. It was Pluto who decided to contribute something.
"Prince, you are in Elysion. Here, you are the same safe as we are and anybody else who had been harmed by Galaxia. This place can keep the one alive, whose Star Seed has been taken. However, this will not work forever and our planet is in serious danger. We have to help the Sailor team to win against Galaxia, otherwise Chaos will rule over the world."
Pluto's statement only confused Mamoru even more now.
"What do you want to tell me?"
It was the dark pink haired bun-head who started to step into this conversation.
"Well, Mamoru, you have to safe your planet by finding the Light of Hope. That's the only way to succeed."
"What is the Light of Hope, where can I find it and who the heck are you?"
He heard her mumbling something weird such as "this amnesia is always so annoying" but she collected herself immediately and added some background information.
"The Light of Hope is Galaxia's own Star Seed. Before she became evil, she adviced this part of her to go through space and find a very good hiding so that there will be still hope to safe the galaxy. Unfortunately, there is one little obstacle that we have to overcome to find it."
Now Pluto took over and spoke "We know that this Star Seed has arrived on our planet but apparently it has traveled not only through space but also through time."
Helios felt the need to chime in now. While he set his eyes on Mamoru, he noted "We can frame a certain period of time where we could localize a certain energy which belongs to the Star Seed but we don't know the exact date. Thus, we need you to help us out."
"I? Why would it be me?" Mamoru heard himself asking
"That's easy, Mamoru. You are the only one from us who can leave this place and travel to the past." The dark bun head shrugged.
"You still haven't told me who you are." Mamoru remarked, slightly annoyed.
Before the girl could say anything, Chibiusa glanced at Mamoru and explained
"That is Kousagi. She is...my assistant."
"Mmmpf!"
The teenager snorted back to Chibiusa who was carrying a mischievous expression on her face now. Helios hardly could hide a deep grin either.
'Looks like an inside joke.' Mamoru stated in his mind and finally raised his voice again.
"Okay then tell me, how can I leave Elysion and travel to the past? Where shall I go to, where shall I stay? I need details, please."
Helios stepped closer to Mamoru and with a quick move of his hands, he set something free which looked like an orange flower until the petals opened up and a bright lighting golden crystal appeared.
"Here, this is my Star Seed. Take it for now. I will be able to survive without it as Koussgi and Chibiusa are currently doing as well. That's why they are here in Elysion, too."
Mamoru had to swallow hard on the fact that this current change, caused by this evil Galaxia, obviously had lead to the problem that Chibiusa wasn't existing in the future.
Sailor Pluto seemed to read his thoughts and put on a warm smile when she stated
„Don't worry, Endymion. We are safe here in Elysion and as soon as you've accomplished your mission, we can fight Galaxia and bring all the Star Seeds she has taken, back to their owners. Here"
By saying this, she gave him the golden time travel key.
"You know how to use it." She winked at him.
"That's very kind from both of you. Thank you...but where shall I go and what shall I do?"
A light bell was heard when he asked his questions. Behind Chibiusa, he could see the bright grey little kitten stepping out into the light.
"Diana"
"Royal Highness! Chibiusa has asked me to accompany you and support you to find the Light of Hope."
The sweet daughter of Luna and Artemis put on a very serious face now and vowed while she was lifting one of her tiny paws up.
"I will protect you!"
Mamoru was touched by her sincere promise and somehow relieved that he didn't have to go alone. The place where he should travel now, still seemed to be an unspoken secret.
"Right, so where shall I go now?" He had asked this question probably for the fifth time.
Kousagi looked at the other allies and finally she pulled out a little white ball with a cat face on it.
"Here, this is a useful tool which Mercury had upgraded recently. It's new added features contain the influence of people's memories for a certain period of time as well as the ability to delete memories, caused by your presence. When you need it, just throw it up in the air and shout "Artemis T - transform!" Believe me, it will help you a lot, particularly in your new home."
"My new home?"
Mamoru raised an eyebrow. He still didn't have a clue where he should go now.
All members of this strange group looked at each other conspicuously and it was Chibiusa who pointed out
"There is a very nice bedroom available, right in the attic of my grandparent's house."
Slowly Mamoru got an idea where his destination would be.
"You are sent back one and a half years, right to the point of your first encounter with Usagi. From this date you have to search for the light of hope. We know it will look out for Mum as she has the strongest Star Seed of this planet and thus, it will try to reach out for her. That's why it is important to stay close to Usagi."
Mamoru looked at his future - and now grown up daughter - with a bewildered face.
"Are you telling me that I shall live with Usagi under one roof...and with Ikuko, Shingo and Kenji??????"
When Mamoru gazed around, he found the others nodding their heads eagerly in confirmation to his assumption.
"But why shall I go there? I mean, this is ridiculous, she hates me at this time!!!"
Kousagi grinned at him now brightly.
"That's why you have Artemis-T which is able to help you out as I just mentioned to you."
Now Mamoru was dumbfounded. He took a quick look at the ball and while he scratched his head, something hit his mind.
"Does it work like Luna P?" He beamed at her quizzically.
The dark pink bun-head turned her gaze to the white object and spoke.
"In this time, you will not be Mamoru at all. You are Usagi's distant related cousin Endy. They will love you...and Usagi will in particular, I am more than sure."
Mamoru thought this quickly through; It sounded like the most stupid idea he had ever heard in his life but he also realized that he would be granted the unique opportunity to see his eternal love Usako again, even if it would only be in the past.
Mamoru took a deep breath, narrowed his eyes and finally said
„I don't know if this will work at all, but I will try my best to find the Star Seed, so we can safe this planet."
With these words, he picked Diana up from the ground and held the previously received objects firmly in his hands.
There was a bit of a challenging sparkle dancing in his eyes when he gazed at his allies. Before he disappeared through time and space, he promised
"I'll bring you the Light of Hope."
