Dino nearly drops his ice coffee when he turns around and sees Hibari sitting on the couch, nose tilted slightly downward, a thin trickle of blood running from one nostril. For a second, his heart stops.

Hibari never wore bandages. Never made an excuse. He came to school like nothing happened. Dino forced himself to look away.

Dino has a bad habit of letting his emotions take over. Dino is gentle, considerate—he always knows his limits. But when he’s overwhelmed, when he's angry or desperate—he forgets himself.
