A falcon? Cody had been turned into a falcon by some unknown spell, or dark magic? He wondered what happened. All he remembered was feeling some tingly feeling in his sleep through the night. Being turned into a hellhound was one thing, but now a bird of prey?
"Loona!" Cody called out. "Can you come here please?"
Just like that, his adopted sister came in the room faster than one can say: "poobah". Looking around at her surroundings, Loona noticed the boy-turned-bird. "Uhhh... Cody?" Said the female hellhound. "is that you?"
"I... I don't even know anymore!" Cody admitted. "Am i going crazy? Did i eat something I shouldn't have?"
"Easy kiddo. Just... try to retrace your steps. How did you turn into a falcon?"
Silent and thinking about hiw this mess even happened, Cody finally remembered ajd he said: "well, before i went to bed, i saw some kind of demon bird flying outside the window and wished that i could fly somehow. And when i was sleeping and felt something weird and i woke up like this." He peeked over to see his pajamas still on his bed. The spell that was casted on him must have only affected his body and not his clothes.
"I think... your wish came true?" Loona speculated.
"Yeah but, I didn't think i would turn into... this. And..." the boy made a gasp, "what if i'm stuck like this forever!"
"Cody, Cody, Cody." Loona tried calming him down. "Don't panic. Panicking won't get you anywhere, and you know that, right?"
"Right... but i need someone that can help turn me back to normal."
"I think i know the kind of person." Loona thought of an idea. "Blitzo! We got a problem here!"
"You lost your phone again?!" Said Blitzo in a panic. "Please don't use me as a chew toy again!"
"What? No! It involves Cody, you moron!"
"Oh. Ok. And who's the bird?" He looked at the child-turned-raptor.
"It's me, Blitzo." Cody pointed, leaving Blitzo incredibly baffled. The imp punched himself in the face so hard that it made him lose a tooth. The purpose for that was because he thought he was hallucinating this. "Is it me, or did i eat a shitty piece if shrimp last night?" He said to himself
"No, Blitzo. Cody got turned into a falcon laat night and we're trying to find out who and why they did this to him." The hellhound clarified. "Maybe Stolas can help out. He is a nerd after all."
"Good point. Stolas is a real bookworm." Blitzo smirked. Cody then ruffled his feathers like any other bird would do every once in a while.
"Why did i just do that?" Cody said to himself. Then he caught something with his new keen sense of sight. "Wait, i see Moxxie and Millie out the window." He hovered over to the window. Although he had trouble hovering since he just turned into a falcon. "Whoa, whoa!" He was about to fall on the floor when the female hellhound caught him just in time. "Thanks Loona."
"Don't mention it, buddy." She smiled. "What were those morons doing?"
"walking around the neighborhood and doing love talk."
"But they must be like many miles from here." Blitzo said.
"Well falcons have better eyesight than people." Cody remembered that in class before.
"Makes sense." Loona said.
At Stolas' manor, the Goetia prince was in his study, along with Loona, Cody, Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, and Tex all together. "Remarkable." said Stolas, getting a closer look at the transformed Cody. "So, you got this transformation while you were sleeping?"
"Yes." Cody nodded head. "Like someone magically turned me into a falcon. Without warning, he started scratching the top of his head with his left talons. "Ooh that feels good." Then he perked up and realized what he did.
"I know this is a bad thing right now, but, you look so cute like this, Cody." Octavia admitted as she squeezed the boy in her arms, gently pressing him against her warm chest.
"Octavia." Cody moaned. "You're treating me like a baby."
"What? No i'm not." Via frowned on him. "Just because i'm hugging you like this doesn't mean i am treating you like a baby. Think of it more like... me hugging a puppy or a kitten, or a plush toy."
"That doesn't make it any better!" Cody complained. "Please let me go!"
"Via," Stolas gently chided her.
"Ok ok, sorry." The princess did just that and let her go.
"We need to figure out who turned me into a falcon. I can't go to school like this!"
"You won't have to." Said Tex. "We'll figure something out."
"Stolas, do you-" before Cody could finish, he caught a glimpse of a dead mouse on a plate on the study table and paused. He blinked twice, and zoomed in on the dead mouse like a missile or a torpedo. He snatched it with his talons and perched on the large arm chair that Stolas would sit and read in. He took a few bites of the dead rodent and said: "Hmmm. Tasty." With a huge smile on his face. He realized that little stunt he just pulled, making his friends grossed out by what he just did. "I hate this." He said to himself in dread
Looking at some books, the owl demon was searching for a cure on how to reverse this kind of dark spell.
"Did the person who cursed you say something to you while you were sleeping all night?" Moxxie asked
"I don't know. I was dreaming i was swimming ina. Sea of cream." Cody admitted. "I didn't understand what the person was saying. So much ice cream and chocolate syrup to eat." He began daydreaming about what he had experinced in his kind now.
"I think we're getting a little off-track." Millie said. "Your majesty, please tell us yer lookin' for a cure."
"Of course i am. Reversing a spell like this is not easy
"Well if i see the person who did this to you, Cody, i promise to gouge his and or her eyes out." Octavia swore.
"Who even did this to Cody anyway?" Loona wondered
As he was looking more and more through his books, Stolas got a hunch down his feathers. An angry expression appeared on his owl face when he said: "I think I know."
Everyone was outside some icy palace. Almost everyone was covered with goosebumps except for Stolas and his daughter.
"Is this really necessary?" Said Loona
"Absolutely. There is no one else who could have done it."
"Maybe it was Alastor. He's a tricky piece of shit.
"No argument, Loona. But Alastor has no beef with Cody."
"Can't argue with that either." Loona admitted.
The owl demon was ringing the doorbell over and over again until Andrealphus answered it, looking annoyed. "What is- oh! It's you." He gave Stolas a look of pure hate and disdain. "You have a lot of nerve coming into my domain, Stolas."
"I know what you did, Elsa." Stolas pointed his right finger at his shitty brother-in-law.
"What are you-?" Then he looked at the human boy who was perching on Loona's right shoulder. "Ah, Cody. You're looking... majestic."
"You cursed him didn't you?" Stolas accused him some more. "Last night you transformed Cody into a falcon for your own fucking sick self-gratification!" He pointed at Andrealphus a number of times until he backed him up to the living room.
"How fucking dare you, sir!" Andrealphus got real offended. "What makes you say i have done something like that?"
"Because that's one of your powers." Stolas said: "Turning humans into birds."
Silent for almost a Andrealphus said: "Very well, yes. I turned cody into a majestic peregrine falcon while he was sound asleep last night."
Everyone gasped. "Ok. Do you have any idea on how much my little brother is suffering right bo, chicken shit!?" Loona got mad. "Change him back!"
"Why?" said Cody. "Why did you do this to me, Andrealphus?"
"Well you wished you could fly, and i granted you your wish. Peregrine falcons are the fastest fliers after all." Andrealphus explained. "Don't think of it as a curse. Think of it as a blessing."
