War encroaches on Pandora. The Sully family's adopted daughter, Kiri, was kidnapped by Bridgehead, the enemy city of invaders. Conversely, Col. Quaritch and his team of recombinant troops tasked with the kidnapping were double-crossed by their masters and also imprisoned. When they escape, it's with the Na'vi girl right as Jake Sully and his Na'vi clans attack the city. Sully reunites with his daughter and manages to get her out, but he is lost in action before anyone can learn of the rescue. On the opposing side, the recombinants flee for good, never looking back.
Days following the aftermath of battle, the Omaticaya, having lost their olo'eyktan, are forced to flee the region before Bridgehead can launch its reprisal. The other despondent clans migrate, with many of themselves asking what became of their Toruk Makto.
