"That's a wrap, everyone. Wonderful job on your training lessons!" All Might shouted, giving Class 1-A a thumbs up. "We didn't have any major injuries besides Midoriya—you should be proud!"
"It's nice hearing encouraging words after our homeroom class," Tsuyu said, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"I'm happy to bring such positivity to my students!" All Might replied, but his voice was abruptly interrupted by his ringtone, "A phone call is here!! A phone call is here!!" All Might answered the phone with a cheerful "Hello."
The class watched with interest, some commenting on his ringtone. All Might's expression turned serious as he turned his back to the class, whispering, "Wait, you mean him? I didn't see him in the entrance exam… Yeah, I know that, but alright. Thanks for letting me know, Aizawa." All Might ended the call and faced the class, who were now brimming with curiosity. "Looks like we're gonna have a bonus match, everyone!"
"Huh!?!?" the class shouted in unison. "Why are we getting another match?" "Who's going to be in the bonus match?" Questions flooded in until Bakugo yelled, "SHUT UP! Let All Might talk, damn it!"
Clearing his throat, All Might continued, "Thank you, young Bakugo. I just need three volunteers! Two students to be the villains and one to team up with our NEW STUDENT!" The class fell silent, then erupted in excited chatter as a figure approached from a distance, disappearing suddenly before reappearing behind All Might.
"Is this the right class?" said a tall figure draped in a cloak and hood. The cloak appeared to have dark scales embedded in it, occasionally reflecting a faint purple hue. The class was visibly impressed, some even voicing their awe.
All Might cleared his throat once more and introduced, "Now class, this is our new student, who will be joining you from now on—Itami Draconis."
Itami Draconis - Head Family of the Wyvern Crest Brotherhood
Quirk: Draconic Essence
Since the Wyvern Crest family has closely guarded their quirk's secret, the only information given to us is that he possesses the abilities of a dragon. He has the strength of a dragon, can summon fire at will, and has scales that protect parts of his body, although they take time to generate.
"Where have I heard that last name before?" Iida mumbled, trying to recall the name, but was cut short by Bakugo's sneer, "So what if he's another rich kid? I'll squash him."
"Ahem, who wants to participate in this bonus match with young Itami?" All Might asked. Several students raised their hands. "Yes, Tenya Iida! Who will you team up with?"
"I would like to work with Itami Draconis on the hero team since I was a villain in my match, sir!" Iida responded.
"Wonderful! Now, who would like to be on Team Villain?" All Might looked around at the eager students with their hands up: Kirishima, Mina, Sato, and Sero. Then he noticed Bakugo and Todoroki, not paying attention in the back.
Let's give them another shot.
"Young Bakugo and Todoroki, you two will be on Team Villain." The class turned to look at them, whispering among themselves.
"Tch, whatever. It's just another rich kid I'm gonna destroy. Just stay out of my way, Ice Man," Bakugo grumbled as he walked away.
With a sigh, Todoroki added, "I'll end it quickly. I didn't expect to fight again, especially not with him."
-10 Minutes Later-
With the building set up and the villain team in position, Itami and Iida waited outside for All Might's call.
"I have a question, Itami Draconis. Does your family own the DracoTech Enterprise?" Iida asked. Without looking at him, Itami replied, "Yeah, and you're Ingenium's little brother, right?"
Iida, surprised, asked, "How did you know?" Itami glanced at him. "Our families do a lot of business together, so naturally, I know of yours. Plus, you and your brother have similar hero suits."
Itami turned his attention to the building, now being covered in ice. "Tch, I hate the cold. Iida, you start on the first floor, and I'll go from the fourth."
"Why are we splitting up? That's inefficient. It would be better if we stayed together—I can speed past them—" Iida began.
"It would waste more time. Look closely at the third floor; it's more compact with ice. That's where the bomb is," Itami interrupted. Before Iida could respond, All Might's voice came over the speaker. "Let's begin this bonus match! Your time starts now!"
"We need to stick together and come up with a plan—" Iida started, but Itami was already running towards the building. "You can stay here and make a plan if you want, but that'll only slow me down." Itami used flames to boost himself up to the fourth-story window.
"Dang it, why does no one want to stick as a team!" Iida grumbled as he ran inside.
Sticking to the shadows, Itami moved swiftly, carefully entering the third floor without making a sound. He heard explosions below—Bakugo was fighting Iida.
Predictable. I knew he'd be looking for us from the start. Now, where's the ice guy…
Walking cautiously down an icy hallway, Itami spotted a door barricaded with layers of ice. Scanning for alternative routes, he found a room with no windows facing the bomb room.
Damn, stealth isn't an option anymore. Let's see how strong this concrete is…
Itami knelt and placed his palms on the floor, using his fire to melt the ice around. After taking a deep breath, he sprinted towards the wall, punching through the concrete and catching Todoroki off guard. Todoroki quickly formed an ice wall, but Itami's flames melted through it. "There's no point in running now!" Itami yelled, propelling himself at Todoroki.
"You're faster than I expected, but still too slow," Todoroki countered, creating ice spikes. Itami dodged, maneuvering around them, and launched a fireball. Todoroki blocked with an ice wall, but the flames melted through, nearly hitting him. "Nice trick, but that won't work on me."
Suddenly, Itami appeared in front of Todoroki, using the steam as a smokescreen. "That wasn't just for show." Itami unleashed a barrage of attacks: an uppercut to the stomach, two jabs to the head, and a sidekick to the body. Todoroki skidded back, using his ice to slow himself down, breathing heavily.
"You're tougher than I thought, but it's over," Itami declared, ready to blitz Todoroki when Iida's voice came through the earpiece.
"Itami, I can't get to the third floor. Both stair entrances are blocked with ice, and I haven't seen Bakugo or Todoroki. Do you copy?"
Wait, where is Bakugo if he's not down there?
Itami hesitated, scanning for Bakugo's location when a loud boom came from above. An explosion hit his back, sending him rolling forward. "Gotcha, you damn rich kid," Bakugo taunted as scales fell from Itami's cloak.
Damn, how did I not see this coming? My back hurts like hell.
Trying to recover, Itami found himself overwhelmed by Bakugo and Todoroki's relentless attacks. Bakugo's explosions left Itami's arms covered in broken scales. Itami dodged one blast, but his feet got trapped in ice. Todoroki quickly froze the rest of his body except his head.
"Looks like we won, after all you said," Todoroki remarked, pulling tape from his pocket.
"Damn, Icy-Hot. Can't believe you were right. Now we just wait for the timer to run down," Bakugo grumbled, walking toward the immobilized Itami.
Head bowed, Itami waited until they were within arm's reach before smirking. "You really shouldn't underestimate your opponent."
"Tsk."
With a click of his tongue, Itami released a burst of fire from his mouth, forcing Bakugo to dodge with an explosion and Todoroki to block with ice. Taking advantage of the chaos, Itami freed himself with his fire breath, filling the room with steam. With the two separated, Itami appeared behind Bakugo, grabbing his arm and shoulder. "It's over."
Itami swiftly swept Bakugo's legs, slamming him to the ground with enough force to knock the wind out of him. Without hesitation, Itami punched Bakugo's chest, causing him to pass out. Flames covered Itami's hands as he prepared for his next move.
It's just the ice guy left.
