Author's Note: Hello readers! It's been a long time since I've tried my hand at writing but I'm here with a story I look forward to sharing that I've gotten pretty far ahead on and all outlined from start to finish, so you can expect some regularly timed updates for awhile. Damirae is a pairing that's definitely captured my heart and been a point of inspiration. I used the events of JL vs TT as a jumping off point for this story to rewrite how I would have imagined the Judas Contract if it were centric to Damirae, assuming they aren't in a flashpoint universe that's barreling headfirst towards a doomed fight with Darkseid. This story is meant to take place several years after JL vs TT so it's an aged-up version of the Judas Contract as well. Enjoy!

In a dark room, late at night in Jump City, Raven levitated cross-legged in a deep state of meditation. Her dark blue cloak floated around her, as if an extension of her physical body that was gently bobbing in her reverent state. The hood of her cloak was pulled up and stayed perfectly still. She faced toward her window, which was more so a wall of glass, with a perfect view of the Jump City skyline, which was the first thing she saw when the alarms started blaring. The second thing she saw was the positioning of the glowing red and blue lights. Right in the heart of downtown. Having stayed dressed in her uniform, she descended from her meditation position, and headed toward her door, ready for action.

Damian, already dressed as Robin, was at her door when it opened. As if he had already been there waiting. Her eyes had been aimed straight forward, as if expecting to see him, but expecting to see the younger him, when he had matched her height for a short while. It had only lasted at most eight months if she was being generous to herself. He had been shorter than her when they met, and without noticing when it happened, one day she was eye to eye with him, and it had impacted her. For a short while, she fantasized that she might keep growing with him, but her growth had ended, at least physically.

When she realized his eyes were at least a good six inches above hers, she lifted her gaze to his. How had he made it here so fast? Was he already out here?

He felt her lift her eyebrow. The hood of her cloak still concealed most of her facial features but since the day she had healed him, he was always privy to her emotions, no matter how subtle. And she not so subtly had all the emotions of a raised eyebrow oozing out of her.

"Let's go," he stated, shoving down the slight sting of embarrassment. Luckily for him, his mask was on, so he felt slightly shielded from her questioning gaze, and soon shielded from the rest of their teammates as they began filtering out in the hallway as well.

They gathered in the middle of a great room, facing an oversized screen. Starfire stood facing them while the screen flashed grainy images from security cameras, showing men clad in black breaking into a bank.

"It looks like we're dealing with your typical bank robbery," she informed them, "but the police are having difficulty subduing the suspects. Blue Beetle and Tara are on patrol and are en route to the scene." The screen began to flash more security footage showing a shootout between the robbers and police from different angles on the street.

"Raven. You'll transport the rest of us to the roof of the bank. From there, we'll drop down on top of the suspects and use the element of surprise to subdue them. Any questions?"

"Did anyone check yet to see where the nearest twenty-four-hour pizza place is near there?" Beast Boy asked, earning him glares from more than a few in the room.

"Titans, go."

In a matter of moments, Raven had created a portal that took her and her teammates to the roof of the bank where Blue Beetle and Tara were waiting. When the black aura of her portal subsided around them, they could immediately hear the shootout down below. Even though the chaos should have affected them, should have made them anxious or given pause, the young heroes were unphased.

Diving off the roof towards the fray, their leader Starfire, shouted her orders.

"Blue, disable their guns!"

Targeted bolts of white light shot out from Blue Beetle's outstretched arms that formed into weapons as they continued to dive. Starfire did the same with her star bolts, providing cover additional cover for the team. In half a second, the robbers' guns were hit and rendered useless as they frustratedly tried to pull their triggers. The police officers who had been ducked down behind their cars across the street took their opportunity to double down their efforts to return fire, still unaware of the Teen Titans coming to their rescue from above.

"Raven, shield!"

Raven's eyes glowed and she raised her hands as a black glowing shield raised up from the ground in between the police and the robbers. She suddenly tipped her body upwards out of her nosedive and began to slowly rise as her shield rose with her. Her teammates all began to pull up as well, except for Tara and Robin, the former forcing a chunk of the earth and pavement up from the ground to match her rate of descent and bring her safely to the ground, and the latter who used a grappling gun to stop his free fall. He swung himself towards a robber who had ditched his disabled gun and was trying to reach for another weapon but was swiftly met with green boots to his face. One down, eleven to go, he tallied.

Robin swung upwards to land on the pediment that framed the front doors to the bank. He did a quick scan of the scene. Starfire was already holding up two unconscious criminals, one in each hand. Beast Boy had turned into a giant boa constrictor and had caught one guy by the leg and began to wrap around him. Tara had two being actively encased in earth, starting with the feet and going up. Blue Beetle continued disabling guns if someone managed to pull out another one. Wonder Girl and Superboy were working in tandem. Wonder Girl was swooping in like a hawk and catching criminals one by one while Superboy was ripping strips of metal to use for makeshift handcuffs off the getaway cars parked in front of the bank. Wonder Girl was tossing each man she caught at Superboy who would catch them, bind them, set them down, and prepare for another. That left Raven, who was still stuck holding up her shield, that was still catching bullets from the police who were too caught up in their adrenaline rush to realize they were being helped. Pathetic, he thought, as he stole one more glance at Raven that he knew he shouldn't but figured he could afford, due to the caliber of criminals they were dealing with.

He took stock again. The first guy Robin had taken down was still incapacitated. Starfire had lowered her two to the ground and was beginning to take her own survey of the scene. Beast Boy had his guy fully enveloped in a coil by now. Tara's catches were up to their necks in dirt and rock. Superboy had a pile of four men at his feet while he ripped more strips of metal from the car. Blue Beetle shot the gun out of the hands of one guy who was taking aim at Wonder Girl, just before she swooped in to grab him. The last criminal stood in the middle of the scene looking panicked.

Robin decided to drop in on the last man standing, quite literally. He pointed his toes to aim his feet at the man's chest, knocking him to the ground as Robin landed perfectly perched on top of his chest. Robin flipped his target over, putting the man face down on the ground before jerking his arms behind his back and pulling zip ties out of his utility belt to secure his target. The bullets from the cops subsided and Raven began to let her shield drop. And just like that, the Titans were done in less than three minutes.

Robin got to his feet and picked up the man that had been under him by the collar. He dragged him over to the pile of groaning criminals that Superboy had amassed and deposited his own contribution there. Beast Boy followed suit where his catch received a makeshift cuff a la Superboy and they all began to convene there. Raven, now fully descended, joined the group a step or two behind Robin. He felt her approach and turned to look at her in acknowledgment. She gave a small smile. Robin kept his expression even.

"Great job ev…" Starfire began until an explosion just inside the entrance of the bank cut her off. They were all sent flying backwards, right across the street towards the barricade of cop cars with their lights still flashing in the night.

Robin reacted quickly, using the momentum of the blast to twist his body into a backflip over a cop car with broken windows from the previous gunfight, landing on his feet, bent forward with a hand on the ground to brace himself as he skidded to a stop. He looked up and saw Starfire, Superboy, and Wonder Girl had managed to fly up out of the blast. Beast Boy, who had changed back into a human right after the fight, had been blasted back into one of the cop cars and flopped to the ground. Blue Beetle was pushed backwards to the middle of the street but was on his feet, seeming to be struggling to get his scarab to not overreact. Tara had gotten a shield of rock up in time to shield herself and the two criminals she had trapped. Raven had also managed to get enough of a shield up to protect herself and had been pushed back to about the same distance as Blue Beetle, the two of them a short distance behind Tara who remained closest to the bank. They quickly closed the distance to Tara who dropped her own shield, the three of them standing at the ready.

Collecting himself, Robin ran forward and stopped near Raven. He pulled out his katana he kept sheathed at his side and faced towards whatever danger was ready to walk out the blown bank doors. The three Titans in the sky began to land around him, with their leader Starfire taking off towards Beast Boy to check his condition.

Behind them, the police officers who had been blown back further in the blast groaned as they regained their senses. In front of them, the smoke began to clear out of the shattered bank doors, but though the fire dimmed, a light from within the bank glowed through the smoke, approaching the doors. They heard the heavy press of boots over the rubble on the ground, but the smoke still shrouded the door. The glow from within the smoke grew even brighter and a form began to take shape in the doorway. There the figure paused, undoubtedly there but still visibly concealed. The Titans were hardly breathing when out stepped Doctor Light through the veil of smoke.
