A/N: Hello, and welcome to Poké Rangers Time Force! My name is Blaze Productions and this is Season 2 of Sinnoh also Poké Rangers Season 14, which is crazy! You can find all of my fanfictions of the Poké Rangers series on our C2. I am in the process of editing the Hoenn saga, so it might look a little choppy but it will kind of give you some knowledge on what to expect because even though it's a different series, it kind of does add on.
If you haven't read Dino Charge, you don't need to but for understanding certain concepts, you need to read it to understand. There are a few key items used that you might now understand if you start.
So, let's start off with our little disclaimer as I normally do…

Chapter 1: Fugitives from the Future Part 1
Welcome to the Year 4024….
Yes, you've read that correctly. 4024, the 41st century. 2000 years in the future after the battles of Poké Rangers Dino Charge… and more. Technology has advanced significantly over the course of time. Populations have grown and even Pokémon have changed over time. Many Pokémon around the world have a futuristic look and the cities have been built up.
We arrive at Sunyshore City, one of the major spots of the Sinnoh Region, known for its lush beaches, its ocean and access to the Sinnoh League. However, even though things might look peaceful, well… not everything can be at peace. This is where our story begins.
Red lights were scanning the area, with the alarms blaring. A man wearing a black suit was floating across a green hoverboard as he was going through the streets. Lights were shining on him as he floated through, passing traffic lights. He had a bag full of smartwatches. As he was shifting through, he knew exactly where he was going, somewhere hidden. Turning right, he was seeing the purple and green cities with neon banners. Looking down, he gasped as he saw a black and white car hovering with red lights flashing. He tried to control his hoverboard as he turned left, with the car chasing. The hovering car had also a blue and yellow lightning bolt on the side.
Inside, there were two people that were sitting in the car. One had black spiky hair with green eyes and his skin was lightly tanned while the other person, driving the car had long light pink hair, tied in a ponytail. Her violet eyes stared at him as the bangs covered her left eye. Both were wearing white suits with black holsters. The same logo appeared on the back of her jacket as she increased speed. Knocking the hoverboard, the criminal screamed as he flew across, landing on the ground. As the criminal went to get up, he went to reach for one of his Poké Balls. Before the car could stop, the driver pulled out her blaster, pulling the trigger. A red beam struck his hand, burning his wrist as the Poké Ball fell. As he screamed in pain, crying around as she appeared.
"What was that?" he asked.
"Can it, you're under arrest for robbery," she said, grabbing him by the neck. Her partner helped put him in handcuffs as she looked at the bag. While his rights were being read, she looked at the smartwatches, "Ah, so you were stealing the cash watches… you know that's a Class A Felony in the Sinnoh Region."
"Screw you," the criminal said.
She used a spinning hook kick as the criminal landed on the ground.
"Yukimara! What the heck?"
"Zip it, Greevey. He deserves the full extent."
Setsuna Yukimara, top sergeant and senior detective of the Sunyshore Precinct. In the 41st century, the Sinnoh Cities worked together as one region to take down criminals, specifically criminals such as Team Galactic or Pokémon Hunters. The local crimes, in other words. She worked to become top detective as she has solved many cases, some were grim and some weren't so great.
Her partner, Shawn Greevey, was just a junior detective. He was a rookie and had no idea what was at stake. They have been working together for about a year. Setsuna said that Shawn needed to have a change of heart. In her mind, just stick to the case, nothing more. Throwing the criminal and evidence in the car, they floated back toward the police car.
"So," said Setsuna, "That's how I do it."
"After a year of robberies, murders, I can't believe you did something so… crazy," said Shawn.
"One thing you need to learn, Greevey. Sometimes, you have to make sure the criminal… stops," Setsuna said, grinning.
Shawn shook his head as he turned around, "And running over his hoverboard?"
"Yeah, you gonna pay for that!"
Setsuna turned around as she threw a backfist. The criminal squirmed as she pressed a blue button. A divider appeared between them as she looked at the screen. Shawn shook his head, "You are very feisty, today."
"Have to be," said Setsuna.
As she went to look at the street, the console started blinking as a blue screen appeared. A human appeared in a blue aura. It was hard to make it out, but Setsuna knew who it was. First Admiral Ken Fitzgerald.
"Yukimara, Greevey… good job arresting him. Are you on your way back to the precinct?"
"Yes, sir," Setsuna said, "He's currently having issues."
"Good. There is a surprise for you at the precinct."
"Yes, sir… over and out!"
As the lights dimmed out, Shawn turned to Setsuna as they were turning to the Sunyshore Precinct. It was a white tower with yellow lines on either side. It had a yellow lightning bolt that was electronic. Shawn looked up as he noticed the main entrance.
"Damn…. To think that we have almost the similar design as the gym," said Shawn, seeing Setsuna pull into the police parking lot.
"Yep… well, that's we haven't changed it. The trainers come here and find out it's a police station," she said, "Now, let's bring the criminal to the booking room."
Sunyshore City Headquarters…
"YAY!"
The sound of celebrations could be heard throughout the police headquarters as Setsuna was walking toward the main lobby. Shawn was there, holding her hand as he dragged her to the offices. The offices had electronic computers with screenless monitors and 4-D diagrams. She was looking at the criminals that were in the vision as she looked across. There was a man who walked up toward her, well built. He had dark blue hair spiked with hazel eyes. He had a black jacket and pants similar to Setsuna, except that on the back of his suit, he had a silver and black circle with shapes in silver around it. In the middle, it was a blue circle, shaped similar to the Adamant Orb. Ken Fitzgerald was not also Setsuna's supervisor, he was also head of Time Force Operations. He turned around as he grabbed a grey suit as he looked at her.
"Setsuna Yukimara, thank you for your service the past two years. We've noticed you been through a lot and you have lowered our crime rate by a lot," said Ken, "Shawn will be promoted to senior detective and will have a new partner… as for you… you are going to be transferred to the top detectives in the Sinnoh Region."
"Top detective?" asked Setsuna.
"Yes, you are transferring to Time Force," said Ken.
"Time Force? Like the crème of the crème? Top officers? Those that time travel to stop criminals of things stronger than petty theft?" asked Shawn, surprised.
"Yes, that is correct Greevey. Setsuna, do you think you can handle it?" he asked.
Setsuna froze as she was looking at the coat. She was never expecting to go into Time Force in such a short time. She took a deep breath as she turned to Ken, grinning as she stretched out her right hand, "It would be my pleasure."
Upon shaking her hand, everyone started cheering as Ken hugged her. Turning around, she looked across as Shawn grinned, shaking hands.
"You are going to have a great time," said Shawn, "I'm going to miss you."
"Same," said Setsuna, "Now, remember what I told you…"
"No attachments. Go by the book," Shawn said, winking his left eye.
"You got it," she said, grinning as she walked away. Shawn turned around as she looked at him, "Hey, um, what are you doing later?"
Setsuna turned around as she looked up, "Nothing, why?"
"A couple of us are going out. Do you want to come celebrate?" Shawn asked.
Setsuna looked at him as she looked at his face, full of excitement. She is not one to be excited about going anywhere… or even anything. She looked at her watch as she turned to him, "I guess I can bend the rules. Where and what time?"
Time Force Solitary Confinement…
Time Force is a group of detectives that go through dimensions to capture criminals who broke through time and space. They have captured multiple criminals throughout dimensions and galaxies. Pokémon human hybrids usually come to the Pokémon World to live in peace. Others…. Well, they become involved in breaking the law and sometimes with one of the top gangs in the 41st century, the Capone Family Gang.
The Growlithe were barking as they tackled a criminal, walking toward one of the dark hallways. The criminal had a black cloak over his head with his hands in silver handcuffs. He watched as he noticed a criminal that was caught by Time Force. His body was structured to a Charizard with ruby armor plating. He had Machoke arms with Haxorus gauntlets that are foldable. His eyes were bright green, carrying two ruby pistols on either side of his body.
"You are arrested for bombing Sunyshore City… as a member of the Capone Gang, we are sending you to 40 years of freeze compression."
"What? No!"
As he was grabbed, two police officers held the creature to the ground as a purple patch was surgically attached to his body. As he was thrown into the chamber, the monster went to get out, only for the door to close. The officer turned around as he pressed a button. The door closed as a blue light turned on. Smoke appeared as he screamed. As the door opened, the monster was nothing but a figurine inside a grey capsule. The officer grabbed the small capsule and placed it on the shelf. Turning to place the capsule, the cloaked criminal gulped as he stepped up.
"Next criminal: People of Sinnoh vs. Cyrus…"
The police officer grabbed his hood as Cyrus looked up. He had black eyes with blue spiked hair. He had some grey marks as he was also wearing a grey Team Galactic suit.
"Charge?" asked the officer.
"He is charged with destroying a police officer, attempted robbery of the Adamant and Lustrious Orb, and conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree through time travel. He is convicted."
The superior officer laughed as he turned to him, "I heard of you in the history books. You tried to destroy Sinnoh 2,000 years ago. How you ended up here is surprising, but your antics end here. You will not be controlling Dialga and Palkia anytime soon. For your behavior, you are sentence to 500 years to life in Freeze Compression."
"I will get back to the year 2008, mark my words warden," he said, spitting at him.
The police officer, who listened to his threatening remark, slammed his fist into his stomach and threw him down. As Cyrus tried to fight, he was then restrained as he noticed a purple patch coming toward him. Cyrus squirmed as he was trying to break free. Before the patch could be put on, an explosion appeared to the side.
"What?" the officer asked.
Immediately, a few police officers arrived. A grey aura surrounded them as they transformed into grey robots with golden rims on their boots and gloves. They had golden Klink designs on their chest with red and black patterns. The heads were blue and red with green lights. They were armed with purple and red machine blasters.
"Capone Gang…," the police officer said, "Growlithe, Flamethrower!"
The Growlithe jumped up as they released flames from the console. The Centuroids jumped over the flames as they went for the Growlithe. The Growlithe flew across as the troop started to retreat. As they did, the Centuroids started shooting the police officers that were in the area. As they all fell, Cyrus looked up as a police officer looked up. As he was lifted, the officer grinned as the handcuffs fell. Cyrus looked confused as he noticed a femine character. She had a Alolan Persian body with Seviper armor along her body with golden gauntlets on her wrists and calves. Her tail was shaped like a Seviper's tail as her hands had pink sharp nails. Her eyes were red with purple hair down to her shoulders.
"Uh….," said Cyrus.
"Team Galactic, Cryus. The boss wants to meet you," she said.
Cyrus looked up as he turned to her, "Who are you?"
"Assistant Boss Persira of the Capone Gang," she said, "We are interested in whatever plan you have."
The Centuroids grabbed him on either side as Persira turned around. The sound of footsteps were walking toward the chamber as he looked at two distinguished figures. One was a humanoid Toxicroak with golden jewelry around his neck. He has brown boots and fingerless gloves. He also wore a brown fedora with a black suit jacket. He has a blue and red submachine blaster shaped like one of the Thompson machine guns from the 20th century, but it had laser energy instead of actual bullets. Next to him, there was a creature who had a metallic yellow cloak around his body. He had a silver robotic body with Ariados spider designs. He had a humanoid head with green eyes and reddish hair.
"Hello, it's so nice to meet you," he said, "Thank you for accepting my offer."
Cyrus gulped, "I didn't accept anything yet. Who are you?"
The Toxicroak creature laughed as he looked at him, "My name is Croak Capone… of the Capone Gang. We are an organized crime family that brings creatures from other dimensions to raise terror and steal technology. Hence why we are able to do what we do."
"I have no intention of joining an organized crime gang. I plan on going back to my time," said Cyrus.
"We know…," the Ariados robot said, "My name is Technician Satfrax of the Capone Gang. We've studied about you and to be honest, we are also tired of being here. Our criminals are getting destroyed one by one by these… Time Force and Sunyshore City Police."
"… You know, it's 4024. Why would you want to come to 2008 with me?"
"Why?" Capone asked, "It's very simple. Technology wasn't advanced. We could rip the region to pieces within hours. We could have an empire within a day."
Capone walked over as he snapped his fingers. The Centuroids let Cyrus go as he walked toward him in close range.
"I will let you in on a bargain. We can help bring back Dialga and Palkia… only if we destroy the past and create an organized crime family," he said, "We could also use them for our advantage."
"What's in it for me?"
"Simple. You get a simple profit from this… and we can use those things you mentioned to bring a new Team Galactic… shared between us. We can even have Diagla and Palkia work for us… to be an ultimate crime family."
"I don't trust a galactic mob boss..," Cyrus rebuttled, "I just want Team Galactic back."
"Well… you won't be able to get out without help… you in or out?"
He took a deep breath as he went to stretch his hand, "In."
"Good, … good," he said, laughing, shaking Cyrus's hand, "You work for us now."
Capone turned around as he looked at Satfrax, "Satfrax, prepare this chamber for time travel."
Satfrax nodded as he looked at the Centuroids, "Centuroids, let's go!"
Bamboo Max…
Bamboo Max, one of the Sunyshore City nightclubs was packing with life as Setsuna walked in. She was still wearing her Time Force suit as she was with Ken. As the two of them walked inside, she was looking around as she was seeing people with drinks in their hand, playing with Pokémon and there were even creatures from other dimensions helping and serving. As she turned around, she walked toward the bar as she went to get something. As she did, she saw someone with a glass next to her. Looking up, it was Shawn. Shawn, however, was wearing a black suit with a green polo shirt.
"You didn't change to hang out?" asked Shawn.
"Because I didn't want to go…," said Setsuna, "But, Ken made me go."
Setsuna turned around as she was looking at Ken. Ken was speaking to a few people. He was wearing a black suit with a black dress shirt and a red tie. He grinned as he was looking at the others. Setsuna rolled her eyes, "Sorry, Shawn but I am not an extrovert. After a case, you know what I do."
Shawn placed his hand on hers, "Setsuna, sometimes you just need to lighten up. Have fun!"
"I would listen to former partner," a voice said. Setsuna looked up as she turned around. The lights were flashing around her as she noticed Ken was behind her, "Also… seriously?"
"Well," said Setsuna, "You wanted to throw one, sir."
Ken grinned as he looked at Shawn and then at Setsuna, "Let's talk."
Setsuna nodded as she went to leave, grabbing her drink. Shawn looked at her as he turned around, seeing other people from the force. His new partner was walking toward him.
"Yo, Greevey. What's with Setsuna?"
He was wearing a blue polo shirt with black pants. He had black spiked hair with red eyes as he was watching what was going on.
"I don't know, Jace… I don't know."
Jace Lupo was now his new reassigned partner for Sunyshore Police. He was on the force for a few years but was reassigned due to misconduct that happened in Veilstone City. He heard about what Setsuna did in the past with cases, hoping to meet Ken's expectations.
Outside, Ken and Setsuna were walking along the balcony. Setsuna could see all Sunyshore City as she looked up, seeing her supervisor walk toward her.
"So, why did you have me go to Time Force?" asked Setsuna.
"Well… I think you are ready for tougher cases," Ken said, "Specifically… with a certain organization that has made Sinnoh a warzone at times."
The red ranger looked up as she saw the beautiful lit skyscrapers. She put two together as she looked at him, "The Capone Gang… right?"
"Yep. Alburtis Croak Capone. A human gone mutant in an accidental experiment. His criminals we've captured are terroristic and they have been linked to the local criminals. We had an operative that went undercover, but his cover was blown," said Ken.
"What happened?" asked Setsuna.
Ken had a sip of his bourbon, "Capone placed a hit at his home. He died in his sleep."
Setsuna froze as she was looking at the ground, taking a sip of her drink, "Well, that's scary."
"But, I know that won't happen to you," he said, "I want you to get closer to Capone. That's why I selected you."
Setsuna rolled her eyes as she looked at the balcony. She turned around as she went toward the entrance, "You know, captain… I knew this party was more than just a celebration. I should've stayed home."
"But, this is what you've wanted," said Ken, looking at her, "You've wanted to be a Time Force Officer since you've started two years ago. I wouldn't have picked anybody else. What's makes you feel uncomfortable?"
Setsuna turned to him as she looked at Ken, "Well, you know. He's already freeze compressed."
"Ah, him…" said Ken.
"Yes, him," said Setsuna, looking at him, "But, I also know not to feel any attachments either. Just do the job."
Ken turned to her, "And that's your flaw."
Setsuna froze as his superior looked at her, "You are so worried about the job, worried about your life, you don't want to open up. If you don't want to open due to past experiences that's fine, but the one-person hurting is you. You are going to have to let it go."
Setsuna said nothing as she went to leave. Before Ken could ask anything, he felt something buzz in his right pocket. As he reached for a silver device, he pressed the green button. A blue image appeared as he saw the Time Force building on fire.
"What the heck?" asked Ken, pressing a green button on the device, "I need all cops to Time Force immediately. There's a breach. I repeat a breach."
Setsuna turned around as Ken grabbed her by the hand. As she dashed, Shawn turned around as he noticed the door opening. He turned around as he looked at Jace. Jace was chuckling as he was talking to a few people. Shawn grabbed him by the elbow as Jace turned around, "Yo, I'm having fun!"
"Dude, Time Force just got bombed…," said Shawn.
"What?" asked Jace, following Shawn.
Sunyshore City...
The police were screaming as they were attacked from the inside out. Satfrax used his fingers, releasing electro webs. As they appeared on contact, explosions occurred as the police were hit. Persira used her claws and slashed a few people across. Capone charged his weapon and caused a mass execution. Time Force was literally on fire as he walked inside.
"Good… attacking from the inside out was a good operation. Centurions, are we ready?"
The Centurion nodded as he grabbed a golden device. As he grabbed the device, he laughed as he saw a few buttons. Capone laughed as he pressed a button. Seeing that the building was grey with a blue and white building attached. The building below exploded. Everything in Time Force collapsed. The only thing survived was a blue and white building that was similar to a spaceship. Laughing, Capone turned around as he looked at Cyrus, "Let's go, rookie."
Cyrus gulped as he shook his head, "You killed people, seriously?"
"In Capone Family, the police die," said Capone, walking up.
"Time Force, freeze!"
Capone turned around as a red and black car pulled up. Getting out, Ken appeared with a red and black blaster. Setsuna had her silver blaster in her hand as she aimed at Capone. Capone laughed as he looked at them, "You think you can stop me… Centurions!"
Centurions turned around as they grabbed similar machine guns that are shaped like Capone's. Explosions continued across as Setsuna and Ken took cover. The blasts were unleashed as the Centurions were hit. As they fell to the ground, Setsuna crawled across as she went to shoot a few more. Grabbing the gun, she destroyed the wave of Centurions. Turning around, Satfrax released a yellow electric net, catching her. Screaming, an electric bolt surrounded her as she landed on the ground.
"Setsuna!" shouted Ken.
As he went to break her out, Capone pulled the trigger. Ken yelled as he was shot multiple times in the back.
"CAPTAIN!" shouted Setsuna.
Looking up, she turned around as Ken landed on the ground. As Setsuna tried to break free, she reached for the gun and pulled the trigger. Capone was struck in the face as Setsuna aimed her weapon. Capone turned around as he aimed his weapon, "I won't die to a rookie."
As he went to pull the trigger, blue and green blasts were hit as Capone landed on the ground.
"Setsuna! Captain!"
Jace and Shawn dashed over with their blasters as Capone turned to them. Capone laughed as he looked at them, "Fools… whatever, killing you guys won't matter… Satfrax, are we ready?"
"Yes!" said Satfrax.
A flash of energy surrounded them as they disappeared. Setsuna watched as engines ignited from the solitary section of Time Force. Floating away, Setsuna looked up as she saw them about to escape. Turning around, she headed to the car, getting a silver device.
"This is Yukimara. I need an ambulance, officer down, shots fired, and tons of ambulance… building explosion."
Hours Later…
At the Sunyshore Precinct, Setsuna was overly exhausted as the sun was now in sight. Shawn and Jace looked at her as she turned to them. She shook her head as she looked at them, "Ken is in critical care."
"What?" asked Shawn, looking at her. Setsuna was sitting in Ken's office due to Jace being at her old desk. Jace turned to her, "Well, what do we know?"
"Two slugs in the back… one pierced an organ. He's going to surgery," said Setsuna. She turned around as she was reading articles from the past on her device. Jace turned around as he looked at the image, "That's Cyrus… didn't he try to rob the police of getting the Lustrious and Adamant Orbs?"
"Yep," said Setsuna, "I am pulling up his file. When's his birthdate?"
"They never said… but I've seen him in history books. That's what's scary," Jace said.
"Well, he did kind of make breaking news," Shawn replied, turning to Setsuna. Jace shook his head, "Pull up a news article from April 12, 2008."
Shawn and Setsuna looked at her as Jace nodded, "I'm a history buff, trust me."
Setsuna nodded as she pulled up the article from the date. She froze as she looked at the news article. The article had Cyrus with two other villains, fighting another trainer with Dialga and Palkia over the imagery.
"Heroes Save Sinnoh from Catastrophic Destruction; Team Galactic Leader is missing, presumed dead," Setsuna read aloud.
"Correct, he tried to revive the Creation Trio," said Jace, "Or at least, control it. When the Red Chain was destroyed, a trainer faced him in the Distortion World. The trainer managed to get out… not Cyrus."
"So, Cyrus landed here…," said Setsuna, turning to Jace and Shawn, "And he knew that the artifacts were here because it's 2000 years in the future. Those artifacts weren't held back in 2008 have they?"
"No… it was discovered and passed through history," said Shawn, "But, one of the Dino Charge Rangers was the keeper of the Adamant Orb… if I remember correctly…"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge? We haven't had a Poké Rangers team in so long," said Jace, "There's no need for the rangers to use it. That's why the Adamant Orb was turned into Time Force."
Shawn turned around as he grabbed an electronic disk, "Here's Cyrus's record…. He was charged with two counts of Murder 1, one attempted but failed and death of a police officer and then attempted robbery… so, why would he need those orbs?"
"Isn't it obvious," Setsuna said, looking at them. Shawn and Jace nodded as he looked up. Setsuna got up from Ken's desk as she looked at them, "Cyrus wanted to get back to his own time. This was the opportunity. The question of why the Capone Gang is with-."
"He's going back in time," said Jace, looking at Setsuna, "With Capone."
"In 2008? The people don't have the technology," said Shawn.
Jace turned to Shawn, "Well, the Mighty Morphin' Poké Rangers in Hoenn could get there… but by the time they get there, Sinnoh will be incinerated."
Setsuna nodded as she turned to them, "I see I have no choice then."
"What do you mean?" asked Jace. He then noticed a few suitcases as he went to grab them. Setsuna looked at her as Jace wrestled with her, "You need clearances to do time travel. You can't go!"
"Ken is out of commission, Lupo!" Setsuna said, "Time Force is obliterated… these are the only and I mean only things left that Ken left in case this were to be destroyed. I read his message with a fine toothcomb."
"What's in those cases?" asked Shawn.
Setsuna took one of the cases and opened them. As she did, the three of them looked up. The two looked at them, "These are…. Morphers?"
"Yeah, I did some reading. When Time Force goes to the past, we have the ability to morph into our own team of Poké Rangers," said Setsuna, closing the case. Jace and Shawn looked at each other and then turned to her, "We're going with you."
"No…," said Setsuna, "You two need to run the Sunyshore Precinct… as Senior Detectives."
"But, I am not going to let you travel to 2008 alone," said Shawn.
"Do you have any other ideas? Because the last time I checked, if you die, who's going to replace you? Jace needs someone to guide him. He's a very smart detective," Setsuna said sternly. Jace turned to Shawn as he looked across. Setsuna grabbed the cases and opened the door, slamming it. Jace turned to Shawn as he looked at him, "She's really stubborn, isn't she?"
"… Yeah," said Shawn, "I'm not liking this. But, she's right."
Shawn turned around as he went to leave the office. As he went to sit at his desk, he placed his electronic headphones on. He pressed a few buttons as he went to see a screen, tracking her movements.
"You're going to spy on her?" asked Jace.
"Just making sure she gets to where she needs to go," Shawn said, "That is, if Time Force still holds their vehicles."
Time Force Headquarters…
The fire departments were all around the area as water Pokémon just finished with putting out whatever flames were left. As Setsuna pulled into the parking lot, she opened the door as she grabbed her suitcases. Walking across the path, she noticed that the main building was blown up, but there were two other buildings that were still in operation. Learning that the building behind the main building connected to a runway, she knew exactly where she needed to go. Walking toward the entrance, the glass doors opened automatically. As she stepped inside, there was a robot that walked toward her. Scanning her, the robot reached for his wrist, seeing information, "Setsuna Yukimara, new recruit for Time Force, access granted."
Setsuna walked over toward the main floor as she headed toward one of the rooms. As she pressed a button, she went into a room that said 'wardrobe'. As she opened the door, she noticed there was a red door. As she looked at the keypad, she noticed a menu for clothing… specifically 21st century clothing. Between being at Sunyshore City and going to the club, Setsuna did some reading on how this was done. She was a fast learner. Within seconds, she picked what she wanted as the door opened. As the door closed, it only lasted a few minutes as she quickly changed into different attire. She wore a brown jacket with a red t-shirt and black pants with red shoes. She wore the Time Force badge attached to her right pocket. So much for a week of training and learning according to what she was originally going to do.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," she said to herself, "I don't even know what I'm doing."
As she headed toward the elevator, she opened it as she was going inside with other officers. The elevator was heading up toward the roof top. As the roof top opened, there were Time Force Officers who were standing as they saw Croak Capone's face on screen. As she went to walk toward the officers, there was someone else who was dressed in a Time Force suit. He had black and red tip hair down to his shoulders with brown eyes. He looked at the screen as he turned to him. It was Captain Joseph Schiff, Ken's superior. He looked up as he turned to Setsuna, "Yukimara, freeze!"
Setsuna turned around as she looked at him. Captain Schiff walked toward her as she went to speak to him, "Captain, forgive me for being in uniform…"
Schiff looked at her as he turned to her, "You're not thinking of chasing them are you?"
"Well… yes I am," said Setsuna, "For my supervisor's sake."
"Setsuna… may I see you in my office?"
Setsuna sighed as she turned around, following Schiff. The rest of the rookies were continuing to watch the videos on training, which she would have been doing tomorrow. Schiff placed his hand on the keypad, scanning the palm as the door opened. Setsuna walked over as Schiff sat down, "Remember that I am your commanding officer. Ken is in critical condition but you have another boss. Why are you choosing to go back?"
"Simple," said Setsuna, looking at the electronic folder in her suitcase. As she opened it, she pressed a few buttons, showing the information. Setsuna looked up as she pressed a few buttons, displaying the information, "I was working with my former colleagues at Sunyshore City Police. We think Cyrus is the reason why that ship is currently en route."
"Cyrus… he was just arrested for stealing the orbs," said Schiff, laughing, "We know who he is. A former Team Galactic leader-."
He cut himself mid-sentence as Setsuna looked at the next article. Schiff stood there as he was looking at the video footage, "Where did you get this?"
Setsuna grinned as she looked at him, "Well, Ken's police car had footage of the shootout. We were also able to get footage from the prison before it was destroyed. I reviewed it en route to here."
Schiff looked up as he closed the suitcase. He turned around as he looked at her. Against his will, he sighed as he turned to Setsuna, "Fine. You broke a lot of rules and regulations… not a great start to transfer to Time Force."
"I know," said Setsuna, "But, I worry about him and I want Capone just as much as you do. If I have to arrest Cyrus as well, so be it."
"Oh no… I want them all arrested," said Schiff, "They will be charged for a Class F Felony: Violating the illegal rules of time travel. That is a lifetime penalty. It's not the Freeze Compression either. It's death by cryo injection."
Setsuna froze as she looked at Schiff. Cyro Injection has certain chemicals that could freeze up the body system of anyone, basically death in the freezer. She nodded as she turned to him, "There are some things you also need to know… do NOT use this suitcase unless you need to."
"What suitcase?" asked Setsuna, "You mean…"
"The morphers. Remember that you are to take Capone and the others back without using them. You are going on a solo mission. You can't use that anyway…"
"Why?" asked Setsuna.
"Because you will need four other people to unlock them," said Schiff.
Setsuna darted her eyes as she looked at the suitcase, "So, why can't I take Greevey, Lupo and two other people from here?"
"They are not qualified. You aren't either, but… because it's the 21st century, they will be undermanned. Hence why, you get to go alone."
Setsuna sighed as she looked at him. Shaking her head as she went to leave, "Yes, sir."
She walked across as Schiff followed her out of the office. Something didn't stick right with Setsuna's head as she heard everything. As the door closed behind her, she had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. As the elevator went up, she began to think otherwise. As the door opened, she noticed the hangar deck. The hangar deck had five jets of different colors. Walking across, she noticed a mega-sized jet similar to a Lunala. As she slid the keycard on the side, the door opened as she walked up the stairs. The Time Jet had five seats on the bridge as she sat down. Bringing her backpack, she turned around as she went to press a button. Doing so, a door opened in the middle of the console. She turned around as a sapphire metallic Hoothoot turned around to look at her, "Hello, Setsuna!"
"May I ask who you are?" she asked.
"My name is Hoot! Time Force Navigator. Where are we heading?"
"Simple… the year 2008," she said.
As she went to press a few buttons, the jet ignited engines as it started floating in the air. As it floated toward the ceiling, the doors opened wide as the jet floated toward the runway. As the runway landed on the highway, two poles appeared from either side. A blue orb, which was the Adamant Orb, located on top began to glow as a rainbow aura appeared. Setsuna pressed a few buttons.
"Time Force Jet launching in 3… 2… 1…"
Setsuna held on as the jet was going, increasing speed. As she held on for dear life, a blue and white building appeared in front of her, smacking it. Setsuna smacked her head on the console as the two things landed in the time portal. As the building started to fall, engines ignited as it went through the time portal.
"That's the building with all the criminals!" Hoot shouted, "What happened?"
"Oh, it's Time Force," a voice said.
Setsuna looked up as Capone appeared with his gun, "We took the building, made it a ship and we were waiting for you to launch."
Satfrax laughed, "So much for a smart detective. If you were smart, you would've looked to see we never opened the gate."
"Which means," Cyrus said, "You fell right into our trap."
Persira grinned as she looked at her, "I can't wait to destroy the Sinnoh Region and have an organized crime government! Thank you, Time Force! Go to hell now!"
The transmission cut off as purple beams struck the ship. Setsuna held on as the ship was hanging on tightly. One of the beams hit the left wing. Hoot turned around as he looked at her, "Setsuna, you can't fire here! You will disrupt the time portal."
"If we don't do something, we'll be lost in the time portal," said Setsuna, pressing buttons, "Now, let me shoot this building down! Moongeist Beam, fire!"
As she pressed the button, a pink and purple energy beam hit the ship. The ship ruptured as the criminals were scrambling. As purple energy beams surrounded the wings, a purple beam struck as the ship was hit, knocking it off balance. A white aura surrounded them as the ships were hit. As the ship was heading down toward Pastoria City, Setsuna's ship began to shoot, only to see that she hit a rock formation. Setsuna screamed as the ship flipped forward, landing on the ground.
Setsuna's face was hit as she fell to the ground.
Outside Pastoria City 2024…
The criminal ship… or it was originally the prison, crash landed in one of the swamps. As the criminals landed on the ground in the lobby, Cyrus smacked his head as he looked at the floor. Carefully, getting up, he looked up as he saw the window. The window had a whole marsh, just like what he remembered.
"We did it…," he said, looking at the others, "We did it, guys! We made it back! I can't wait to head to Veilstone City when this is done."
"Hold your horses," Capone said, getting up from the ground, "You still work for us remember? Satfrax, date."
Satfrax carefully got up as he looked at the console. While they were waiting for Time Force to push them, Satfrax was able to redesign the prison as a ship. He was able to steal the time capabilities and any equipment needed. Satfrax looked up as he turned to Cyrus. He had a feeling his news wouldn't be too pleasant.
"Well… Cyrus, the good news is we are in the 21st century," Satfrax said, "The bad news is… we are 16 years ahead."
Cyrus froze as he looked at him, "What?"
"Yeah, we are in the year 2024. February 10, 2024 to be exact," said Satfrax.
"What the actual…," said Cyrus, stretching his hands, "Damn it! We needed to get back to 2008 so I can get the Red Chain. You've got to be kidding me."
"It's may not be okay," said Capone, "But… we can still take this place. History didn't advance much."
Satfrax turned around as he looked at the criminals, "Well, there are more… defenses. Such as the Poké Rangers."
"Poké Rangers?" asked Cyrus, raising his eyebrow, "Oh yeah…. Them. In the Hoenn Region."
"There was only one team here," said Satfrax. Cyrus froze as he turned to him, "So?"
"Just saying that your colleagues Maxie and Archie fought them. Maxie is dead and Archie is currently in solitary confinement," said Satfrax, "I only know this from the reading the history. We need to protect you from falling to the same fate."
"And that's working with us," said Capone, looking at the window, "I've always wanted to see Sunyshore City… let's go rob a bank… or two. We're going to need some money if we are building an empire. The world is ours."
Sunyshore Beach…
"No way, Mason. I am not going to run around trying to find a girl yet. I just finished my last escapade on trying to find a few artifacts with my friend Sebastian."
As the two stopped jogging, the man speaking was in his wearing a blue sleeveless and black t-shirt with black sweatpants and blue shoes. He had light brown skin, shoulder-length black hair in a cornrow style. He took a deep breath as another man turned to him. He wore a black and yellow zip hoodie with a white t-shirt with yellow shorts. He had black hair that was in a mullet with blue eyes. He had dark tanned skin with a strong build.
"Wait, you left Sinnoh to go on an expedition with one of the famous Pokémon historians?" Mason asked, "X, how do you do it?"
Xavier or "X" shrugged as he turned to Mason, "I love Legendaries and I will totally go back to find more artifacts. There was one we were looking for, but could never get it because there weren't any leads."
"Oh yeah, the Adamant Orb isn't it?"
Xavier nodded, "Yeah."
Before Xavier continued to speak, the wind started to pick up. Looking up, Xavier watched as he saw a time ship float across, slashing into a cliff. The time ship dug right into beach, erupting in flames. Quickly, Mason and Xavier dashed over toward the ship.
"This is amazing!" said Xavier, dashing over with excitement. His excitement changed when the ship erupted in flames.
"Quick, Inteleon! Hydro Pump!"
As he threw his Poké Ball across, Inteleon landed on the ground. The Secret Agent Pokémon released a blast of water, trying to extinguish the flames. Mason turned around as he released his Pokémon, "Machamp, throw some sand on the ship, quickly!"
As Machamp was released, his four fists were grabbing sand and throwing it on the ship. While that was going on, a blast of water appeared, hitting the flames. Mason turned around as a Starmie was trying to extinguish. He had black hair spiked with tips spiked green with hazel eyes. He had a darker skin tone compared to the other two with an average muscle build. He had a black and white striped T-shirt with a green and white varsity jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
"Thanks!" said Xavier.
"No problem," he said.
As the three were trying to put out a fire, another trainer was running over to help. She dropped whatever she was doing as her purplish-blonde hair was illuminating in the sunlight. Her green eyes darted at the flames as her Meditite and Kadabra started floating sand on to the ship. She had a black leather jacket and a pink t-shirt with blue jeans and white shoes. As the four of them were trying to help, Xavier decided to climb up on top. As he was carefully climbing, he turned to see the bridge. There, the cockpit was sparking.
"Setsuna… Setsuna… we need to get up!" shouted Hoot, "We need to leave! There is an explosion about to happen."
Xavier, hearing this, turned around as he withdrew his next Poké Ball, "Emboar, Mach Punch!"
Emboar's Poké Ball was unleashed as Emboar appeared. Emboar's left fist began to glow in an orange aura as he smacked it. The glass was impenetrable, "What the heck?"
Hoot turned around, noticing someone trying to break the glass. Looking around, he flapped across as he pecked Setsuna. Setsuna woke up in anger, "Ow… what gives?"
"If you don't get out of here, you're dead. People are trying to help!"
Setsuna noticed an Emboar trying to break the glass. Setsuna turned around as she went to press a red button. The shield was disassembled around the glass. Emboar broke through as the glass shattered. Xavier crouched down as he landed on the ground.
"You need help?" asked Xavier.
As he grabbed Setsuna by the arm, Hoot locked on his eyes as the suitcases and backpack began to float. As Xavier and the others landed on the ground, Mason and the two trainers looked up as he started dashing, "Take cover! This ship's going to blow!"
The trainers leapt for cover as the ship exploded into pieces. Setsuna looked up as she was covered, coughing up sand as she turned to them. As she looked up, Xavier looked at her, "Are you okay?"
"Get off me," she said.
"Hey, we were just trying to help," said Mason.
The female trainer, unnamed, turned around as she went to walk away. The other trainer grabbed her by the arm, "Oh no, you aren't leaving."
"Who the hell do you think you are?" she asked.
"I'm bringing you in. I caught you robbing that bank the other day," he said.
She turned around as she looked at him, "You don't know my situation. Right now, we got to figure out if she's okay."
"Once this is done, don't think I'll let you go," he said.
She turned around as she slapped him, "Try me."
Mason turned around as he looked at the two of them. He pushed the two aside as he looked at both, "How about we deal with what's going on?"
Hoot turned around as he shook his head. Xavier squatted down, noticing the Pokémon. Hoot flew across as he looked at Setsuna, "Setsuna, we need to contact Schiff!"
"Right," said Setsuna, getting up, "But, not here. You guys need to go."
Mason turned around as he looked at her. The other trainer turned around as he stepped forward, "Um, you owe us an explanation. Your ship was seen crashing into the beach."
Setsuna turned around as she looked at Hoot. She slammed her fist in the sand, "Hoot, that's what I get for shooting another time ship down."
"Well, I told you it will bring some problems. Like this! You've broke the rules of time already," said Hoot.
"Time?" the female trainer said, laughing, "It sounds like you're from the future."
Hoot turned around as he looked at her. The trainer froze as Hoot walked over toward her, "For someone that should be in jail, you're one to talk, Stacy Jones."
Stacy crossed her arms, "How did you know?"
"And Carl Sanchez, your father was a detective but your parents hid you from that but you have the exact same features as someone down in the precinct," said Hoot.
Carl turned around as he shook his head, "Alright, this is getting messy. You're not from this era are you?"
Setsuna sighed as she brushed her clothes. They were asking too many questions as she turned to the team. She walked over toward the crew, "So, we're both from the year 4024. 2,000 years into the future."
"Remember," said Hoot, interjecting, "You're violating."
"We won't be around when it happens anyway," said Mason, "Keep going."
"Yeah," said Xavier, looking at Hoot, "You kind of already peaked our interest."
Carl shook his head as he placed his hands in his pockets, "I don't find any of this credible, but okay."
The others froze as Setsuna continued. They were in shock, "In 4024, there was a man that you know named Cyrus. You know, Team Galactic leader… he was founded and tried to steal the Adamant Orb and the Lustrious Orb that harness Dialga and Palkia. He was sentenced to freeze, but Croak Capone took him, and they decided to travel back in time. I followed them after they blew up our headquarters. I shot their ship and managed to arrive here… I am sure 2008 is going to be a fun time."
"Actually," said Hoot, "Both Capone and you arrived 16 years after what happened. It's 2024."
Setsuna took a deep breath, "Lovely."
"So," said Carl, looking at the ship, "You were sent to capture a man who wanted to basically turn the world inside out? I thought he was missing."
"That's what we want to know," said Setsuna, "It won't matter anyway. My job is to arrest the Capone Gang and sentence them to death. That includes Cyrus."
"Why?" asked Stacy, confused.
"Unauthorized Time Travel is a Class F Felony. Death penalty is automatically encouraged. The reason is to not spread what the future is like. I kind of violated that rule by talking to you… you weren't supposed to know about this," said Setsuna, "I could lose my job."
"Well," Mason said, turning to her, "What if we helped you find him? You can't contact your base. Who would track it?"
"Sadly, me," said Hoot, looking at Mason, "I have a tracker at will. I can't do it… but my circuit is damaged to contact Schiff and Time Force."
Hoot turned around as his eyes lit up. He flapped as his eyes began to glow. The trainers watched as Sunyshore City exploded. The Centuroids were running around, grabbing cash and other items. Persira, Capone and Satfrax were leading the way as they were collecting money. Cyrus was also shooting, getting money. Capone laughed as he lit a cigar.
"He looks awful," said Xavier, "That's Croak Capone?"
"Yes," said Setsuna, "They came back to destroy Sinnoh and make the world his own organized crime world. He has criminals that work for him. Your tactics won't work on them."
"But," Carl said, turning to them, "We have the Poké Rangers here."
"Due to what happened in their last battle, the rangers won't be able to fight with us just yet. But, that's a story for another day," said Hoot, "Setsuna, the briefcase."
Setsuna nodded as she grabbed the blue and white briefcase. A flashback appeared as she began to think about what was said.
"Don't use those morphers unless you have to. You will need five people to unlock them. If you give them to people in the past, it's like violating the rules of time travel."
Setsuna froze as she turned to Hoot, "Hoot, I can't. If I… Schiff's orders."
"To hell with orders," said Mason, "If you have something in that briefcase, now's the time."
Carl stepped forward, "He's right. We don't know who you are but, if this is going on right now… we need to step it up. We have enough info to know that these guys are bad news. Let us help you!"
"I'm not allowed to give people these devices, especially from the 21st century," said Setsuna.
"Then, how are you going to beat them alone?"
Setsuna looked up as Xavier grabbed the briefcase. As she looked at him, Xavier looked at her in the eyes. Turning around, he could see the smoke, "You said we can't fight because they're from the future. We won't have a future if we don't do something."
Stacy reluctantly sighed as she turned to her, "I agree on this one. Come on, let's use whatever's in here."
"Part of Time Force Officer is protecting the future," said Hoot, turning to Setsuna.
Setsuna rolled her eyes as she turned to Hoot. Raising her hands up in the air, she knew that she couldn't argue with a robotic Hoothoot, "Fine, they can join me."
Setsuna headed over toward the blue and white case that was on the sand. Opening it, the trainers watched as they saw a white and black jet with a blaster on top and five silver morphers with blue stripes on either side, looking like an advanced version of a watch. There was also a red triangle, pink heart, blue square, yellow circle and a green diamond on the wrist of each morpher. Picking them up, Setsuna picked up the red one and then gave the one to each of them. Xavier looked at it as he placed it on his left wrist, looking at it, "What are these?"
"These are your Chorno Morphers," said Hoot, "When it's time to arrest a criminal, this morpher will create a suit that will allow you about the combat them."
"So… just like the Poké Rangers," Mason said, eyeing Hoot. Hoot looked up as Carl nodded, "Yeah, Poké Rangers."
"Whatever… let's get this over with," said Stacy, rolling her eyes.
"Likewise," said Setsuna, turning to the rangers, "Here's how it works…"
She stood in the middle as she formed an X with her arms, the morpher faced them. She then stretched out her arms and then placed two fingers on her morpher, "Time for… Time Force!"
Pressing the button, a red and white Poké Ball was flashing on the morpher as blue lights began to swirl. The four rangers backed off as Setsuna was now dressed in a silver suit with red stripes. Jumping up, a black background appeared with two red clocks on the top and bottom. Green data surrounded her as she jumped up to morph. Red lightning appeared from the bottom as her digital suit appeared from the waist up. She wore a red suit with red boots and gloves. She also wore a skirt attached to a black belt with a silver triangle and a blue jewel in the middle. There was also a silver blaster attached to her right hip. Her chest had a white breastplate that had a red triangle arrow pointing down. Her helmet was shaped like an Infernape, but instead of the mouth it was a red triangular visor. Landing on the ground, the background disappeared.
"Whoa…," said Xavier, surprised.
"That's… impressive," said Carl.
"Um… I am at loss for words," said Mason.
Stacy shook her head as she looked at Setsuna. Setsuna turned around as she looked at them, "It's your turn! Let's go!"
Xavier nodded as the other rangers followed suit, "Time for… Time Force!"
Pressing the button, a red and white Poké Ball was flashing on the morpher as blue lights began to swirl. In a four-way split screen, the rangers followed suit as they were dressed in silver suits with their own ranger color.
Stacy jumped up in her screen, a black background appeared with two pink clocks on the top and bottom. Green data surrounded her as she jumped up to morph. Pink lightning appeared from the bottom as her digital suit appeared from the waist up. She wore the pink suit of what Setsuna wore except she had a heart arrow pointing down. Her helmet was shaped like Iron Valiant but her visor was a pink heart.
Xavier jumped up, a black background appeared with two blue clocks on the top and bottom. Green data surrounded her as he jumped up to morph. Blue lightning appeared from the bottom as his digital suit appeared from the waist up. She wore the blue suit of what the other two wore except he had a square arrow pointing down. His helmet was shaped like an Empoleon with a blue rectangular like visor.
Mason jumped up, a black background appeared with two yellow clocks on the top and bottom. Green data surrounded her as he jumped up to morph. Yellow lightning appeared from the bottom as his digital suit appeared from the waist up. He wore the yellow suit of what the other two wore except he had a circle arrow pointing down. His helmet was shaped like a Luxray with a yellow circle like visor.
Carl jumped up, a black background appeared with two green clocks on the top and bottom. Green data surrounded her as he jumped up to morph. Green lightning appeared from the bottom as his digital suit appeared from the waist up. He wore the green suit of what the other two wore except he had a diamond arrow pointing down. His helmet was shaped like a Torterra with a green diamond like visor.
Landing on the ground, the four rangers looked at each other.
"This is so unreal," said Xavier, looking in excitement.
"You're telling me, I am in shock," Mason turned around, looking at his suit.
"This is excellent!" Carl said, looking at his suit.
Stacy turned around as she said nothing. Setsuna dashed over as she turned to Hoot, "Hoot, disengage the Time Flyer."
"Right, Time Flyer, launch!"
The device in the suitcase unlocked its latches as the Time Flyer enlarged. As it landed on the ground, Setsuna hopped on. She turned around as the other four rangers looked confused, "Get on!"
The rangers were a little nervous as they hopped on. Setsuna started the engine as the Time Flyer took off. Hoot looked up as it could see Sunyshore City in flames.
"Oh man… it's the only way but it is a bad idea for people to use future tech," said Hoot, sighing, "Oh, well."
Sunyshore City…
The buildings exploded everywhere as the Centuroids were walking back and forth, marching and destroying whatever they wanted. The Centuroids laughed as they went to strike again, shooting red and orange beams. As the buildings collapsed, Capone laughed as he looked at Persira and Satfrax.
"This is fun! And the 21st century can't even stop us!" he shouted, "The world is ours!"
Cyrus grinned as he turned around, seeing the destruction. It might not be what he intended, but it was something to look forward to. The Former Galactic Leader grinned as he turned to see what he saw. Eventually, he planned to continue what he started. As some people started crying, the Centuroids landed on the ground. Satfrax and Capone laughed as they grabbed their weapons. Capone had a dark blue and red Thompson electronic machine gun on hold as he went to shoot, "Now, let's shoot and get some dough!"
Cyrus rolled his eyes, turning around, "The last thing we need is a massacre… huh?"
His thoughts were interrupted as blue beams struck from the sky, hitting Capone. Capone freaked out as his gun landed on the ground. Persira turned around as she noticed the Time Flyer floating across.
"They chased us here?" asked Persira.
"I thought I killed them," Capone said, turning to Persira. Persira turned to Cyrus, who was also surprised.
Five lights landed on the ground, revealing the rangers. Cyrus froze as he looked at them, "Why are they here?"
"Time Force Red!"
"… Pink!"
"… Blue!"
"… Yellow!"
"… Green!"
As the rangers turned around, facing forward, Setsuna stood up as she revealed her Time Force Badge, a silver and black badge with a silver triangle on top with a blue jewel, resembling the Adamant Orb.
"Persira… Cyrus… Satfrax and Croak Capone! You are all under arrest for violating the laws of time. Prepare yourself!"

Poké Rangers Time Force Chapter 2: Fugitives from the Future Part 2
A/N: So, here's Part 1 of the saga. We have some new additions that I came up with last minute and they will be recurring. Jace Lupo and Shawn Greevey will be on and off as well as Captain Joseph Schiff. I wonder how they are going to react. Well, I guess we are going to have to find out as the series starts.
