Nearby, Bakugo uwas yelling "That FUCKING BASTARD!"
Midoriya, Manual and Rocklock were hanging over Mr. Aizawa - who was - what had happened.
"Deku," said Rocklock, "You must get out of here!"
"I will never..."
He looked angrier than I had ever seen him - Midoriya was running towards Shigaraki...
"His body can't keep up with that overwhelmign power!" he muttered.
"One touch to finally end this!"
Shigaraki put his hand on the ground - we had to -
Blackwhip pulled us all up from the ground and into the air.
Midoriya was - floating?
"You're right. We are ending this, right here!" he told Shigaraki.
MIdoriya placed us all on the ground as soon as Shigaraki had lifted into the air to face him.
"Please take care of Gran Torino and the others!" he called
"Shoto, deal with the injured!" said my old man.
"Hold on, Deku!" shouted Bakugou. "You're the one who should be furthest from that guy! Erasure is already gone!"
"Then who else is going to keep Shigaraki up in the air!?" said Midoriya.
"If you like the sky os much then i'll take one for all off your hands and send you straight to heaven!" said Shigaraki. "And I'll make sure those old geezers down there keep you company.
"Leave them alone! Don't you dare hurt anyone else!" said Midoriya.
"Endeavor!" shuoted bakugou, who was starting to look panicked. "You better not miss this time!"
I could feel shi panic - because Midoriya was moving as thought - he was going to once again break every bone in his body.
"You like the sky that much? Good! Cuz after I steal one for all, I'll send you straight to heaven! Same goes for that old fool and the others down there!" snarled Shigaraki.
One for all? That phrase again.
"You're not gonna hurt them anymore!" MIdoriya screamed. He was heading straight for Shigaraki.
"Endeavor!" shouted Bakugou. "You gotta make this final one count!" He sounded frantic.
Midoriya was beating Shigaraki - moving faster - using too much of his quirk, breaking his bones - again -
Smashing at Shigarki, using his blackwhip. He was moving so fast, hitting so hard -
"Amazing!" said Manual, as we held onto Aizawasensei.
"NO. He's gonna lose if this keeps up!" said Bakugou. "Deku's using his legs and air force to negate the blowback, controlling multiple quirks simultaneously. It's taking every skill he's gto to keep Shigaraki in the air. But since that first hit didn't seal the deal, it's now an endurance match. Deku can't last forever against a guy who can regenrate. In a few minutes, he'll be dust and have his power taken from him. You finished with that first aid Todoroki?"
"Yeah. What do you need -"
"Shut up and grab ahold of me! Endeavor! Don't waste any fire flying up there, cuz I've got that part covered. And Todoroki, keep Endeavor cool till the last possible moment."
"You're thinking i shoudl finish him off with a max power fire attack. Leavei t to me."
"But there're just kids," said Rocklock.
"Take care of sensei and the others!" I told him. Bakugou pulled us up and we were headed for the fight.
"The moment when Blackwhip is stretched out is when I strike. When I divei n there, you two get out so you don't get caught in the blast," said Endeavor.
"Midoriya, hang in there!" I murmured. We'd made it and my old man flew towards them - they were far enough apart and Endeavor was ready, seizing Shigaraki.
"Get outta here!" he told MIdoriya. Plus ultra - prominence burn!" The flames were amazing - but -
My old man had been blown back- Shigaraki was regenerating -
And black tendrils wiere reaching towards Midoriya, ready to stab-
Bakugou -
Had jumped in the way. Skewered through the middle.
Moving almost as fast as Midoriya might have moved whenever he saw someone in danger -
"Stop trying to win this on your own," I heard him shout at Midoriya.
He was falling - I grabbed him just in time, holding Endeavor in my other hand.
"My - this battle today, so much blood spilled, for no good reason - but that last was the most pointless of all..." Shigaraki's voice sounded more like someone else's
And Midoriya semeed to have lost his mind - he was moving like someone almost inhuman, biting through Shigaraki's defenses with his bare teeth.
"Take it back!"
Shigaraki's hand was on his face-
"MIdoriya!" I screamed.
"Finally got ahold of you - one for all is mine!"
But he pulled back - and Midoriya was falling too-
