Chapter 1: The Dragon and the Storm

The crumbling stone walls of the manse in Pentos echoed softly with the sound of crackling fire and distant waves. The evening was quiet, too quiet for the likes of Viserys Targaryen, last son of the fallen Dragon King. He paced like a restless lion, his silvery-gold hair trailing behind him, his thoughts tangled in memories and ambitions.

Across the room, Daenerys, still barely a woman, sat near the open balcony, the salt wind brushing her silver hair back as she looked out at the narrow sea. Her violet eyes were quiet pools of longing—longing for a home she had never seen, a crown she had never touched, and a brother she barely understood.

"You know," Viserys began, his voice suddenly softer than usual, "our father… he made a pact before everything fell to ash."

Daenerys blinked, looking over her shoulder. "A pact?"

He nodded, sitting beside her for once not with fury, but nostalgia. "Yes. Before Robert's dogs came with their rebellion, before Rhaegar died and mother passed… there was a woman. Not from this world. Her hair burned like fire and her eyes… she could stare down a dragon."

Daenerys tilted her head, intrigued. "You never mentioned this before."

Viserys sighed. "Because I barely remembered it myself. Until today. It came back in a dream."

And just like that—the memory flooded in like wildfire…

Flashback – Years Earlier, Red Keep: The Pact of Fire

Viserys, no more than five, had peeked through the massive carved doors of the Throne Room. He remembered the heavy air, the smell of oil and steel, the oppressive heat. His father, Aerys II, sat atop the Iron Throne, looking both mad and majestic.

But all his young eyes could focus on was her.

The woman in red.

Her name was Kushina Uzumaki, a stranger from beyond the veil of realms. Her hair shimmered like molten blood, tied in a braid down her back. She stood without fear before the Mad King, surrounded by golden-armored guards who dared not touch her.

"And what do you want with my line?" Aerys had hissed, eyes wide with suspicion.

Kushina's voice rang like a clear bell, smooth and commanding. "I bring no war. Only fate. My son, Naruto, will one day come to this world. He is… unlike any soul you've seen. A warrior of peace. And your daughter… she is his match."

Aerys laughed, wild and thunderous. "A betrothal? To a child not yet born? From a world not yet known?"

Rhaegar stood silently at his side, face unreadable. But even then, little Viserys had sensed the weight of his brother's agreement.

"A union that could reshape everything," Rhaegar had said. "One born of prophecy. Of ice and fire."

Kushina stepped closer to the throne, her aura flaring like the sun. "Seal the pact. So when the world burns and the storms rise… our children will rise together."

And with blood, chakra, and Valyrian words, the pact was sealed.

As Viserys watched, his father actually smiled.

Present – Pentos

Daenerys leaned forward, stunned. "You saw this… with your own eyes?"

"I was just a child, but yes," Viserys said, nodding. "And now, I remember it all. The pact. Her name. Naruto."

Just then, the door to the chamber creaked open.

Soft footsteps.

A gust of wind blew the balcony curtains inward, and he entered.

A man cloaked in silver-white garments, his hair as white as snow, flowing freely over his shoulders. His eyes glowed a piercing, stormy blue. The room felt suddenly smaller, as if power had entered with him.

Viserys stood instinctively.

Daenerys froze—but it wasn't fear that stopped her breath.

It was… comfort.

Warmth radiated from him, not heat of fire, but of purpose. She didn't know his name yet—but her heart did.

He smiled softly and opened his arms.

"Viserys," he said. His voice was deep, calm, and ancient. "It's been a long time."

And to Daenerys's shock, Viserys moved forward and embraced him.

A real, honest hug.

Then he turned to her.

And she stood up, almost drawn into him, not like a lover yet—but like a star answering gravity.

His hand extended, gentle and firm. "Daenerys."

She took it.

The pact had awakened.

The sun had just begun to dip below the horizon when hoofbeats thundered beyond the manse. Servants scattered like dry leaves, and Illyrio Mopatis waddled in, sweat beading down his face despite the cool evening air.

"Khal Drogo approaches," he wheezed. "And he is not... pleased."

Viserys stiffened, his pride swelling at the mention of the Dothraki warlord who he once planned to use for reclaiming the throne. But now, everything had changed.

Naruto stood unmoved, eyes closed as if listening to a song only he could hear.

Daenerys shifted nervously. She had heard tales of the great Khal—his ferocity in battle, his lack of fear. And yet, standing beside Naruto, she felt a protective calm wash over her, like the eye of a storm.

The doors slammed open.

Khal Drogo entered like a tempest. Braids heavy with bells, chest bare and oiled, his dark eyes scanned the room with fury.

He saw Daenerys.

And then he saw the man beside her.

His brows furrowed. "Qoy qoyi..." he growled. "Who is this?"

Before anyone could speak, Viserys stepped forward, far braver now with Naruto near. "This is Naruto, the one betrothed to my sister since before even you were a warlord, horse lord."

Drogo's glare sharpened. "She is mine. Promised to me."

Naruto opened his eyes slowly, and even Drogo paused for a heartbeat.

"The fire never promised her to you," Naruto said calmly, voice like thunder behind silk. "It promised her to me. Long before your blade saw war."

The Dothraki murmured among themselves as Naruto stepped forward.

Daenerys touched his arm gently. "Don't hurt him."

Naruto smiled down at her. "I don't want to. But I will protect what is mine."

Drogo snorted. "You think power comes from words? From old pacts made by dead men?"

With a sudden roar, the Khal charged forward, blade raised—

And in a flash, Naruto vanished.

Not even a blur—he was simply gone.

A heartbeat later, he reappeared behind Drogo, gently placing two fingers on his neck. Drogo froze, stunned, a pressure like a mountain pinning him in place.

Naruto's voice was low. "I could crush you. Snap your spine. Or stop your heart with a whisper."

But he didn't.

Instead, he lowered his hand and took a step back.

"Go in peace, Khal," Naruto said. "You are a warrior. I respect that. But this is not your flame to tame."

Silence gripped the room like frost.

For the first time in years, Khal Drogo backed away—not out of fear, but recognition. Respect. The fire of challenge still danced in his eyes, but it was tempered.

He looked at Daenerys. "If he fails you, call me."

And with that, he turned and walked out, his warriors silently trailing behind.

The tension in the room slowly faded as Khal Drogo and his warriors disappeared into the night. Yet, the weight of what had just happened still lingered.

Daenerys let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding. The entire evening had felt like a storm barely contained within the walls of Illyrio's manse. But now, it was just her and Naruto.

Viserys, still riding the high of their victory, muttered something about needing a drink before storming off to gloat in his own way. Illyrio, ever the opportunist, smiled nervously before excusing himself, leaving only flickering candlelight and the soft whisper of the warm breeze through the open windows.

Naruto turned to her, his blue eyes shining in the dim glow. They were not the eyes of a conqueror, not filled with arrogance or cruelty. They were calm, deep—like the ocean after a storm.

"Are you alright?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Daenerys hesitated. It was strange. She had always been told she was meant to be married off like a piece of chess, a move in someone else's game. She had prepared herself to be a pawn, to submit to fate.

But now, she didn't feel like a pawn.

She felt safe.

With him.

"Yes," she finally whispered, her silver hair shifting as she turned to fully face him. "Thank you."

Naruto chuckled softly. "You don't need to thank me, Dany."

Dany.

No one had ever shortened her name like that before. It was... intimate. Warm. Like something only hers.

"You knew about this arrangement?" she asked. "That our fathers planned this?"

Naruto nodded, stepping closer, but not too close—just enough to let her decide if she wanted that distance closed.

"I did. I knew for a long time." His expression softened. "I... didn't know what to expect. But the moment I saw you, I knew one thing for sure."

Daenerys swallowed. "What?"

"I will never let anyone use you."

The words struck something deep inside her.

She had spent so much of her life being used. Used by Viserys's ambitions. Used as a tool for alliances she had no say in. Used as a name, as a symbol, but never as a person.

She felt something unfamiliar bubble inside her chest.

Hope.

Slowly, she reached forward, hesitating for only a moment before lightly touching his white hair.

"Your hair... it's like mine," she murmured.

Naruto smiled. "Fitting, isn't it?"

She nodded, fingers brushing against the strands before pulling away.

There was a long pause before she asked, "Do you want the Iron Throne?"

Naruto tilted his head slightly. "What do you think?"

Daenerys studied him.

Most men she had met would've declared their right immediately. They would've spoken of power, destiny, or conquest.

But Naruto… he simply waited. Letting her decide what she thought of him.

She smiled, the smallest hint of warmth creeping into her usually guarded expression.

"I think…" she whispered, stepping just a little closer, "...you don't care about a throne. You care about the people."

Naruto's smile grew, just a little.

"You're smarter than most kings," he said.

Daenerys laughed softly, the sound light and rare.

"Stay with me tonight," she said suddenly.

Naruto blinked. "Dany—"

"Not like that," she quickly corrected, blushing faintly. "Just… stay. I don't want to be alone."

Naruto didn't hesitate this time.

"Alright."

And so, as the moon climbed higher, the last Targaryens sat together, watching the stars, speaking softly of dreams, of fire, and of the world they would one day change.

The first rays of dawn painted the sky in hues of orange and gold as Daenerys slowly woke. The night had passed in a rare moment of peace, the kind she had never truly known before.

Naruto had kept his promise—he had stayed with her. Not as a husband claiming his right, not as a conqueror, but as a guardian, a partner.

She turned her head slightly and found him already awake, staring out at the city beyond the balcony. His white hair glowed in the morning light, and his blue eyes, deeper than the Narrow Sea itself, were lost in thought.

Daenerys pulled the silk blanket around her shoulders as she rose and joined him. "You're up early."

Naruto turned slightly and smiled. "Habit."

They stood in silence for a moment, looking over Pentos. Below, merchants were already setting up their stalls, ships were arriving with goods from across the world, and somewhere in the distance, the Dothraki horde that was meant to be her fate still lingered, leaderless.

"The world has changed," she murmured.

Naruto nodded. "And we have to decide what we'll do with it."

Daenerys inhaled deeply. This was it. No more dreams of childhood. No more being led by others. It was time to plan.

"Where do we begin?" she asked, turning to him.

Naruto's gaze sharpened. "The first step is securing our foundation. Viserys is unpredictable, Illyrio is useful but not entirely trustworthy, and the lords of Westeros still believe you to be nothing but an exile."

Daenerys nodded. "We need allies."

"We have some already," Naruto admitted. "Illyrio and the men he has influence over. Some loyalists from Westeros. But it's not enough."

"We need an army," Daenerys said. "A real one. The Dothraki—"

"The Dothraki aren't an option," Naruto interrupted. "They don't respect anything but strength. And even if they followed us, they would never be accepted in Westeros. We need soldiers, trained warriors. Not raiders."

Daenerys frowned. "Then who?"

Naruto smirked. "The Unsullied."

Daenerys blinked. She had heard of them—the greatest soldiers money could buy. But…

"They are slaves."

"They are also disciplined and deadly," Naruto pointed out. "With them, we wouldn't have to beg for loyalty from Westerosi lords. We could take what we need."

Daenerys hesitated. She hated the idea of using slaves. But the more she thought about it, the more she realized…

"I won't rule over slaves," she said firmly.

Naruto's smile widened. "Then we don't buy them as slaves. We free them."

Daenerys looked at him, realization dawning in her eyes.

"They will follow the one who gave them freedom," she murmured.

"Exactly," Naruto said.

A fire lit inside her.

"What else?" she asked, eager now.

Naruto folded his arms. "Gold. We'll need a lot of it. Armies don't march on loyalty alone."

Daenerys thought for a moment. "Illyrio has wealth. We can use his resources until we gain our own."

"Good. But we'll need more."

Daenerys turned to him, confused. "More?"

Naruto gave her a mischievous grin.

"Westeros has its riches, but it's not the only land in the world."

Daenerys gasped as she understood. "You're talking about Old Valyria."

Naruto nodded. "There are treasures lost beneath the ruins—artifacts, wealth, maybe even things beyond gold. If we can recover them…"

Daenerys placed a hand on his arm, feeling excitement she hadn't known before. "Then we'll be unstoppable."

Naruto nodded. "But we have to move carefully. If we make the wrong move, the lords of Westeros will know we're coming."

Daenerys smiled. "Let them know."

Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"They have grown weak, Naruto. They sit in their castles, playing politics, forgetting the power of true kings and queens."

Naruto smirked. "Then let's remind them."

Daenerys turned to the rising sun, feeling the warmth against her skin. This was just the beginning.

Together, she and Naruto would forge a new destiny—for themselves, for their people, and for the world.

Winterfell...

The icy winds howled through the ancient halls of Winterfell, carrying with them the whispers of a world on the brink of war. The great castle stood tall, its grey stone walls dusted with fresh snow, a silent guardian over the North.

Inside the Great Hall, the atmosphere was thick with unease. Eddard Stark, Warden of the North, sat at the head of the table, his expression unreadable as he listened to the latest reports. His wife, Catelyn, stood nearby, her concern evident in the way she held herself.

Seated at the table were his sons, Robb and Jon Snow, along with his daughters, Sansa and Arya, who sat quietly, though Arya's restless nature made her fidget. Bran and Rickon were too young to be part of such discussions, but the tension in the room was unmistakable.

Maester Luwin cleared his throat. "The word from the East grows more troubling, my lord."

Eddard leaned forward. "What news?"

"The Targaryen girl has a new ally."

The hall fell silent. Even the crackling flames in the hearth seemed to dim for a moment.

Eddard's jaw tightened. "Viserys?"

"No," Luwin replied. "Another. A man said to be unlike any seen before."

Eddard exchanged glances with Benjen, who had arrived from the Wall just the night before.

"What do you mean, 'unlike any seen before'?" Benjen asked.

Luwin hesitated, as if struggling to find the words. "There are… strange stories. His hair is white as snow, yet his eyes burn with the clarity of the sky itself. Some say he commands the elements, that no blade can touch him. That he is more than just a man."

Jon Snow, sitting beside Robb, frowned. "That sounds like nonsense."

Luwin nodded. "Perhaps. But the Dothraki refuse to move against him. That alone speaks volumes."

Eddard exhaled slowly. "And what of King Robert? Does he know?"

Luwin nodded grimly. "He has already sent word to his spies. If this man is truly a threat, the King will not let him be."

Arya spoke up, curiosity gleaming in her eyes. "What's his name?"

The Maester hesitated before answering.

"Naruto."

A hush fell over the hall.

The name meant nothing to them—yet. But Eddard Stark had been in enough battles to know when the winds of fate were shifting.

And Winterfell, the North, and perhaps all of Westeros, would soon feel the storm approaching.

Kings Landing...

The Red Keep stood proudly over King's Landing, a fortress of power and secrets. Inside the grand hall, King Robert Baratheon sat upon the Iron Throne, his massive frame slouched as he listened with growing impatience.

Before him, Varys the Spider, Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish, and Ser Barristan Selmy stood in quiet anticipation.

The doors to the hall opened, and Lord Varys stepped forward, his silk robes whispering against the cold stone floor.

"My King," Varys began smoothly, his voice as light as ever. "I bring urgent news from across the Narrow Sea."

Robert exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. "If this is about the damn Targaryens again, I—"

"It is, Your Grace."

Robert sat up straighter, his irritation turning to something darker.

"What have the dragon whelps done now?"

Littlefinger chuckled, his hands clasped behind his back. "It seems *Daenerys Targaryen has found herself a new protector. And not just any man. A warrior unlike any before."

Robert scoffed. "They have the Dothraki, do they not? Why should I care about another savage?"

Varys exchanged glances with Selmy before continuing. "This is no mere Dothraki, Your Grace. His name is Naruto. He wields power beyond our understanding. Even Khal Drogo, a man who fears no blade, has refused to challenge him."

Robert frowned, but it was Ser Barristan who finally spoke up.

"I have heard whispers of this man, Your Grace. Some say he moves like a shadow, faster than the eye can follow. Others claim he can summon fire and storms with nothing but his will."

"Magic?" Robert spat. "Are we children now, Ser Barristan? Are we to believe in old wives' tales?"

"Not magic," Littlefinger interjected, his smirk ever-present. "But power, Your Grace. And power is always something to be wary of."

Robert slammed his fist against the throne's armrest. "Where is he now?"

Varys folded his hands. "With Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen, in the East. He has not yet made any move toward Westeros."

"Then we kill them now!" Robert roared. "We should have done it years ago! I'll not sit here while another 'protector' rises to defend the dragon's cause!"

Varys smiled ever so slightly. "I expected nothing less, Your Grace. Shall I… inform the Faceless Men?"

Robert exhaled heavily. "No. Not yet. Send word to my spies. I want everything on this Naruto. If he so much as sets foot on Westeros, I want him dead."

Ser Barristan looked uneasy but said nothing.

Robert grinned savagely. "Let the boy enjoy his little fantasy in the East. If he dares come for the Iron Throne, he'll find I still have plenty of fight left in me."
