It was night-time in the compiund and Shocket was getting ready for bed after another fun day of adventures with her sisters Byrdie Duck and Emily Raccoin changing out of her armour into her favourite nightshirt and shorts with the Guardians emblem on them feeling her comm bracelet buzz as it was her girl, Byrdie making her blush wondering what she wanted this late picking up bringing the comm to her ear to hear what she wanted.
Bevoop Shocket I know irks bedtime and winding down for the night but Rocke.. he's having trouble sleeping and the grownups and the big kid Avengers are busy.
Younthink maybe you can help. " Byrdie's voice said from its I can trspeaker. "I can try Byrd. He misses Piper." Shocket told her leaving her room going down the hall to Piper and Rocke's room well now Rocke's room now knocking on the door opening gently seeing Rocke wrapped in the blanket which had holes in it from Piper's quills sticking in it which gave Rocke comfort after Doom had been defeated making her understand and stroked behind his furry ear which made Rocke look at her in the eye.
"Byrdie heard you were sad and having trouble sleeping. Did you take your meds." Shocket said.
"Sorry if I'm waking you. The adults are busy so didn't want to bother them." Rocke told her cuddling something, a stuffed porcupine which he'd named Piper which was his emotional support stuffie which she got. Things might be calm now but she had anxiety that Doom could come back but being the leaxer of their team, she had to be strong like Kamala said and decided to be her own leader seeing Emily web slinging to her room amusing Shocket seeing Spidey flagging him down, saying Rocke needed his meds giving the tenuki youngster his meds seeing him get sleepy which wasgood for him and them tucking him in leaving his room.
"Is he asleep now. How're you doing you know." Byrdie asked Shocket blushing as they held hands going to Shocket's room.
Plus in the morning, Kate Bishop would be teaching them archery which Shocket was excited about along with Byrdie only Rocke had seemed anxious when Kate told them knowing he liked cuddling Lucky the Pizza Dog who was Kate's pet "I'm good andRocket just had his meds s9 he's out like a light." Shocket told her lying on her bed.
That next morning after Byrdie, Emily and Shocket woke up, they got dressed and ate breakfast seeing Rocke feeding Lucky and giggling which made Shocket happy for her friend, that he loved playing with Lucky who also kept him company in the comm room when he was helping them, making Kate appreciative of his help fist-bumping knowing he wasn't that jazzed about archery knowing Lucky would need somebody to play with and throw the frisbee asking Rocke if he wanted to lay with Lucky like Extreme Frisbee which was a fun game she'd taught them which Rocke loved nodding.
"Now that's settled, let's get ready. I have to teach you to be safe using archery equipment as archery is awesome but can be dangerous if you're not careful. Put your listening ears on alright." Kate told them making Byrdie and Emily nod noticing Shocket was distracted seeing Rocke laying with Lucky until a look from Kate snapped her into focus apologisingng p.
"That's okay Shocket. Rocke is having fun which is good." Kate told her.
She taught them about safety and to wait until everybody had fired before getting their arrows from the target making Shocket understand seeing Emily make arrows out of webs impressing Shocket having a blast but after a bit, they were taking a break seeing Rocke cuddling Lucky but he was calm like bedtime which was good but after Kate told taught them archery safety they were having a blast but Rocke was playing Extreme Frisbee with Lucky but after a while, Rocke was sitting beside Lucky on the floor drinking a juicebox like Shocket and her friends, seeing Lucky drinking water out of a bowl with a pizza pattern on it.
"So you guys know how to use crossbows now, eh." Emily and Shocket heard Rocket say majibg them hug him.
"Yeah but you okay." Shocket asked him. "I have something to tell you, your cuz, Casey is gonna be living here." Rocket told them.
He was then sitting beside Rocke on the floor rubbing behind his ear making him relax asking him how he was doing. "I didn't sleep so good last night but Lucky was helping me feel better, sir." Rocke told him. "I'm proud you told me that as well work on it together." Rocket said.
