[ The video starts by showing a curious Gungan, named Jar Jar Binks, looking at a particular droid. The camera moves to show a teenaged (14yr old) Padmé, looking around the mechanic shop and a (9yr old) Anakin staring at her while sitting on the workshop table. ]
Ahsoka: Master, is that you?! *couldn't help but gush at how cute her Master used to look like when he was a kid*
Cara: I will have to admit that you were a very adorable looking kid. *smirks a little at Anakin, wondering if he'll be embarrassed by what she said or annoyed*
Anakin: Yes it is Snips.. *blushes slightly yet so glad it was dark, then realizes what was about to be shown and groans*
Rex: Is something wrong General? *curious yet concerned for his leader*
Anakin: No, I'm fine Rex. I just remembered..*takes a deep breath to control his racing heart and redden cheeks*..how I acted when I was a child.
[ "Are you an angel?" Anakin asks Padmé so suddenly, not taking his eyes off of the youthful girl that had no speck of dirt on her soft yet flawless skin. Said teenager looks at the boy with curiosity and astonishment, "What?" "An Angel. I hear the deep space pilots talk about them. They're the most beautiful creatures in the universe. They live on the Moons of Iego, I think." As he tells this to her, it makes her draw towards him to hear how this young boy thought she could be compared to such people. She smiles in flattery and looks at him with slight amusement. "You're a funny little boy. How do you know so much?", she questions him as she watches this dirty boy with rough hands only adults have yet has the brightest blue eyes she ever saw on this bland planet. Notices how he twists/cleans up some type of gear with a rag as he answers her. ]
Lando: Are- are you flirting with her? Or are you trying to impress her? At that age?! *trying not to laugh so he covers his mouth with his hand*
Rey: You do have to admit as far as flirtation goes, that isn't the worst. *the age difference is what makes it weird for the flirting but considering the boy (or man in an actual sense for herself) was innocent in some type of way, so it was adorable*
Han: The kid is right, although I think he could use some work on it. I am the expert after all. *smirks to himself as he brags about himself (like always)*
Leia: OH please..! *rolls her eyes at the arrogant man behind her*
Han: Oh I'm sorry, your Worshipfulness! Do you want a demonstration?! *doesn't like this woman's attitude towards him but does like what he sees so far*
Leia: Shut up Laserbrain and focus on the screen! *hates how good-looking the man was but makes sure not to show it with an irritated look*
Han: *jaw drops at Leia's words then makes a thoughtful look, leans far back so only Chewie could hear him, whispers* I don't know if I want to kill her or I'm starting to like her.
Chewie: *growls as quietly as he could to respond back to him, saying how he doesn't have a chance causing Han to glare at him in annoyance*
[ "I listen to all the traders and starpilots who come through here. I'm a pilot, you know? And someday I'm gonna fly away from this place." Anakin tells yet states to Padmé, showing how determined he was to get away from that misery of a dustball planet. "You're a pilot?", Padmé asks the boy in surprise mixed with curiosity. "Mm-hmm! All my life!" Anakin states proudly since he always had a knack for flying. "How long have you been here?" Padmé questions him, feeling more drawn towards the prideful yet kind boy in front of her. "Since I was very little, 3 I think.", seems hesitant on what he's about to say next but continues on as if it doesn't bother him, "My mom and I were sold to Gardulla the Hutt, but she lost this betting on the podraces." ]
The theater room was dead silent after hearing that sentence from the boy.
Anakin was worried that now after seeing this, everyone will treat him even less than what they already do. He never liked showing how weak he was, it was ingrained into his head since he was born into slavery. What made it worse was that his SON FROM THE FUTURE was seeing this. However Luke was thinking the EXACT opposite, thinking how strong his father was to keep on being confident and was- or is- a powerful Jedi Knight. Also knowing that he loves piloting just like he does warms his heart to know how much they are alike.
Ahsoka: Mas- Skyguy..*felt self-conscious on calling her Master that, now realized that the title 'Master' has a different meaning and perspective for him, even if he possibly did grow out of it* Were you-..?
Mando: *he was sitting stiff in his seat, just seeing a child acting like being a slave is normal to them- even if it is- enrages him to no end, he is a Mandalorian and seeing a kid- acting, thinking or talking like an adult- makes him feel horrible, makes him wonder how many other children still are slaves during his time*
Anakin: Yes Ahsoka...I was a slave. *saying it out loud made him want to hide from the stares he could feel burning into the back of his head, he felt the two women he loves squeeze both his metal and organic hand, then suddenly senses a loving yet protective bond only to realize it was from Luke, smiles to himself as he was surprised that his future son still accepted him*
Finn: *shocked to see how such a powerful Jedi- that was literally sitting four rows ahead of him- was a slave, makes him think how they were somewhat similar, his thoughts drift to how he was technically a slave for the First Order before he made a decision for himself for the first time- by freeing and helping Poe*
Rex: *Rex couldn't believe that his General was a former slave, it made him look at General Skywalker in an entirely new light- not in a bad way, with a thoughtful look that changed into determination and respect, he scooted up in his seat and clears his throat- getting Anakin's attention* I'll admit that I didn't think I would've ever found out but I'm glad I did, because my respect and loyalty just grew for you, General Skywalker. I know damn well the rest of the 501st would agree with me.
Anakin: *he was in pure shock and disbelief by his Captain's words, yet he didn't detect any deceit in his eyes or emotions through the Force, making him smile appreciatively at Rex, knew from now on that he could probably trust Rex with personal things in the future* Thank you Rex.
Bail: *his eyes widen in shock and disbelief, his gaze locks with Mothma- who has her jaw dropped with her hand trying to cover it- didn't know that 'The Hero With No Fear' actually had a past such as this, it doesn't change their opinion on him, it actually made them realize that they need to look into the slave trades and put a stop to all of it like they should've done a long time ago*
[ "You're a slave?", asks Padmé in concern yet surprised since she has been sheltered all her life, it disappointed many that the Outer Rim was allowed to do such things. Then again, nobody does anything when it comes to the Outer Rim- not even Naboo. "I'm a person and my name is Anakin!" Anakin states firmly to her with a look of slight anger and wariness. Hopes that he was wrong and the angel like girl wasn't like the people that think they are above slaves- them- like him. "I'm sorry. I don't fully understand, this is a strange place to me." Padmé apologizes to him, hadn't meant to offend him in any way. Looks around the foreign place as she says the last sentence. ]
Mando: You didn't know that slavery existed? *didn't know that the Core worlds were that oblivious to the Outer Rim back then*
Padmé: Not neccessarily, but I had thought that the Republic were doing something about it. Plus I had just became Queen to all of Naboo so I had to focus on my planets problems instead of other worldly situations. *felt guilty of never actually helping end slavery, or even try to send in a petition against it in the Senate*
Yoda: A mistake, it was. Bringing the peace and freedom, the Jedi were supposed to be. *his ears dropped in sadness and disappointment in himself and the Jedi, they wanted to end the suffering that happened in the darkness yet ignored the ones in the light*
[ They look to the side when they heard Jar Jar inspecting a mechnical robot, only for him to touch the nose- activeating it. The creation jumps off the display it was on and starts running away from the clumsy Jar Jar, the Gungan trips over its feet on the step making the robot laugh at him. The screen shows young Anakin and Padmé- who was smiling- looking at Jar Jar trying to catch the machine, finally able to as he grabs it by its neck. "Hey!" Anakin shouts at Jar Jar to get his attention, for the robot to hit his leg but doesn't let go. "Hit the nose!" Anakin points out to him, since it was also how the thing turned on a few seconds ago. ]
Ahsoka: *couldn't help but laugh at the clumsy Gungan yet knew if it were to happen repeatedly then she would be annoyed like her Mas- Knight Skywalker, didn't know how to address him because of this revelation and decides to just stick with Skyguy for now*
Padmé: Oh Jar Jar...*she shakes her head at the memory- memories of the Gungan being his clumsy self on multiple occassions yet smiles a little in amusement*
Han: Why do I have the sudden urge to punch the Gungan, Chewie? *he whispers to his furball friend rhetorically, he didn't like Gungans all that much but it was a weird feeling telling him to do so*
Chewie: *grumbles in confusion since the Wookie was having a similar feeling*
Mando: *he thought he was the only one feeling that urge to punch or shoot the Gungan in the face, that and it seemed like some sort of déjà vu, now he was trying to recall if anyone called him a Gungan before*
Evaortizsnowangel: *heard Han's question and knew immediately that it was the other Entities emotions affecting her guests, looks to the side without their knowledge and looks straight at the readers, whispers* I know some of you don't like the Gungan- that could possibly be a Sith Lord- but could you please not force your emotions onto them?
The sudden tension that had unknowingly been over the Star Wars characters- disappeared after a few seconds after Evaortizsnowangel's request. She winked at the readers as a 'Thank you' then looked back at the screen as if nothing happened.
[ "Oh!" Jar Jar exclaims as he drops the droid and hits the nose like the little human boy told him. The droid then goes back into its "hibernation", Anakin and Padmé laugh a little at the Gungan- finding amusement in the scuffle he caused trying to catch the droid. The scene then cuts to an older Jedi leaving the junkyard and to Anakin as he says, "- it wouldn't have lasted long anyway if I wasn't so good at building things." Everyone could see how annoyed he looked on having to clean up Jar Jar's mess, with the Gungan trying to catch something while being unbalanced with the junk pile in his arms. ]
Anakin: *couldn't help but facepalm himself at seeing that, remembers how he had to re-clean those after already cleaning them earlier because of Jar Jar*
Luke: *he winces at Jar Jar's clumsiness and felt bad for his dad having to clean that up, now knowing what his father was when he was a child- which made his blood boil- yet is happy to know that his dad was kind of a mechanic like he was, a little*
Leia: *she knew what the woman- who was basically their host- was implying when she had her sit with the Skywalker family, she was happy to know some history about her birth parents yet horrified that her biological father was a slave, wished she could've known her history even though she does still love her adoptive family*
[ An older man walks through the entrance of the junkyard, R2-D2 trailing after him and says, "We are leaving. Come on Jar Jar." Just as the man says that the Gungan drops everything with a small shout. Padmé walks backwards as she bids farewell to Anakin by saying, "I'm glad to have met you, Anakin." "I was glad to meet you too!" The young boy yells out to her as she leaves with Jar Jar leaving the materials on the floor and hurries after the Jedi Master and young handmaiden. ]
Obi-Wan, Anakin, Plo, Yoda and Padmé tense at seeing the face of the deceased Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Everyone could feel the light atmosphere turn into a mournful one and were confused by it.
Ahsoka however, knew why the atmosphere changed as she was the Padawan of Anakin Skywalker so she learned the lineage of past MasterPadawan's. Master Yoda and Padawan Dooku; Master Dooku and Padawan Jinn; Master Qui-Gon and Padawan Kenobi; Master Obi-Wan and Padawan Skywalker; and now, Knight Skywalker and Padawan Tano. That was her lineage of Masters and Padawans. She knew of Master Qui-Gon's passing and it was difficult for either her Master or Grand Master to talk about.
Evaortizsnowangel: On with the show, shall we? *she looks at everyone after the video ends, could see how a specific Jedi Master was uncomfortable on seeing the face of his old Master, felt bad that they were going to have to see certain things that others would prefer to keep private but for everyone to understand what, how and why it happened- they'll have to face it.*
The audience nod their heads in agreement, wondering what else would be shown. Yet certain people were thinking, 'How am I a part of this?'
