Mara is a stripper at a famous club in Las Vegas. She always keeps her head down and do her work until one night when she's working, she has an unusual customer who wants a private dance with her. Little does she know that the unusual guy is the head of the Italian mafia.

In Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet, Act II Scene II, Juliet says; "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" This means that despite Juliet and Romeo's differences, specifically their separate families, they can still love. In this version of the play, Juliet falls in love with a peasant, refusing to become a lady of power, nor to love Romeo. Her Rose is as sweet.

After getting married, Romeo and Juliet successfully flee into the wilderness, escaping their families and the terrible fate that awaited them. Not long after, Juliet becomes pregnant and gives birth all alone while Romeo is out hunting.
