This is my own personal story of how Rio 3 would look like. Blu, Jewel, their kids and the rest of his family will be faced with the biggest adventure they had ever witnessed. On their way they will discover new places, meet some new friends and even family members, but will also be faced with new and dangerous enemies.

Chapter 0: Introduction

Hello, everyone. For starters, this is my first ever fanfiction I am posting. I have been a fan of the movie Rio and Rio 2 for a long time and for a long time I have been reading Rio fanfictions and imagined my own Rio story. I was however dumbfounded when I came to realize that Blue Skye Studios was taken over by Disney and thus ending the hopes for a third Rio movie. For a long time, I have been thinking how a third Rio movie would look like and finally decided to put it on paper and publish it on Fanfiction.

My version of Rio 3 is also a sequel to another Rio fanfiction called Amazon Adventures, made by the writer bluecatcinema. It is a fanfiction of Blu, his family and friends (and a bit about his nemesis Nigel) going about their lives for a year after Blu saves the amazon forest from the loggers. This fanfiction was published on April 19, 2014, and lastly updated on March 2, 2015. If you haven't read that fanfiction, I strongly advise you to read that one first, it exists of 25 chapters. In my Rio 3 story, his OC's will also appear. These are: Renaldo (a spix macaw and the boyfriend of Carla), Miguel (a green-winged macaw and the boyfriend of Bia), Skye (a spix macaw and the girlfriend of Tiago), Antonio (a scarlet macaw and a bully of Bia, Carla and Tiago) and Sapphire (the mate of Eduardo). All credits of these OC's and the AMAZING story of Amazon Adventures go to him.

There is also his OC named Evita, who became Roberto's girlfriend. However, in my Rio fanfiction timeline, she never makes an appearance. There are also 2 chapters from Amazon adventures which did not take place in my timeline. the first one is Chapter 21: Macaw Matchmaker, where Roberto confesses his feelings to Evita with some help of Blu. Like I said, Evita does not make an appearance in this timeline. She also didn't dance with him in the final chapter of Amazon Adventures. The second chapter of Amazon Adventures that didn't take place in my timeline, was Chapter 24: Tree Truncked, where Tiago would end the rivalry he and his sister had with Antonio, because I still want them to be rivals in this timeline.

In this FanFiction, I have my own OC's that would play a major role. One of them would be of a more love interest to Roberto, some would be more family members, some would be (great) friends of each other and of course, there will be new villains in this fanfiction. Nigel will of course make a re-appearance in this fanfiction, since he is a classical Rio villain.

My own OCs are ones I invented, but some of them are inspired from other fictional characters or even (fantasy) universes. The most notable are ones from the Warhammer Universe and the Batman Universe. If you are a fan of one (or maybe both) of these universes, then you'll quickly see where I took inspirations from.

In this fanfic there are objects (like plants) that are completely fictional.

I will however warn you that this FanFiction is T-rated, because it will include some emotionally heavy scene's, it contains some blood and even death scenes. If you are a very sensitive person, I advise you not to read this FanFiction, especially the parts in the middle end near-end of the story. This will also be a pretty long story, with various chapters, each having different lengths.
