Last Hope - Briefing

The last days were very hectic. Now that the entire Usean Continent is in total chaos because of the destruction of theirs and the Osean satellites, all comms are now in disarray.
By now, I walked to Alexa's bunk. Asking her to come in.
Honoka: Alexa-san?
Alexa: Honoka-chan!
Honoka: Can I come in?
Alexa: Sure. Come in!
Alexa lets me in. Alexa is working with her hobby, making sky fans.
Honoka: Beautiful made, those sky fans.
Alexa: Thanks! I made some with some nice colors. Even used glitter. Anyway, what brings you here?
Honoka: Air Commander Miyafuji has called on own DND that during the next missions, our nation must join this conflict in hope to stabilize this entire problem.
Alexa: So to say, this war is now become a civil war and a four-way war.
Honoka: Indeed. 2 Erusean factions, Osea and our nation.
Alexa: I never thought to see this day, now that Satsuma has finally declared war on Erusea.
Honoka: But we declared war in secrecy. We are a Satsuman black-ops unit, we are not involved in several affairs, but luckliy, the Osean DND and our DND has agreed that they needed some of our pilots to take on the most important missions from them.
Alexa: And that's when I decide who to join in on the missions.
Honoka: You're right, I think that we need to talk with Miyafuji for the moment.
Alexa: Very well. Time for a call.
As Alexa and Honoka are calling Miyafuji, her webcam is also activated.
Miyafuji(webcam): Hello, girls.
Alexa: Hi, Air Commander Miyafuji.
Miyafuji(webcam): So, you two have known our news?
Honoka: Exactly.
Miyafuji(webcam): Good to hear. I've called the ministry of defense, and they have dispatched us some soldiers and armored vehicles to three locations: Anchorhead, Tyler Island, and Shilage area. Our special forces team will once again go to the space elevator and wait there for orders.
Honoka: Good! We need to be very well prepared for the next missions that will come.
Miyafuji(webcam): Also, I came to LRSSG Base, and Jaeger and Húxiān are glad that I took over as internim-commander of your unit. Count however, is very concerned about a Satsuman leading the unit. And we have cleared and removed our presence in North Point and Sansaoban Airbase. Lily White, Kasumi and Ai are on their way to the carrier.
Alexa: Good.
Miyafuji(webcam): Also, Alexa. I have reformed the Strider Squadron again.
Alexa: And who are gonna fly with me?
Miyafuji(webcam): Count, Jaeger, and Húxiān. They are gonna be with you as the Strider Squadron. Fencer is the new Cyclops 1. Skald and Lanza are Cyclops 2 and 4, and Tailor is the new Cyclops 3.
Alexa: Ah, that new player, huh?
Miyafuji(webcam): That's right. Right now, have you played with our pilots yet?
Alexa: No, not yet, I just finished my free flight 2 hours ago.
Miyafuji(webcam): I think that you should do.
Alexa: Yeah, better do that.
Miyafuji(webcam): Well, I got a job to do. See you guys on the next task.
Honoka: We will!
Miyafuji's Webcam turned off.
Honoka: Let's meet with the others, Alexa.
Alexa: Okay!
We left Alexa's bunk and headed for the flight deck, waiting for Lily White, Kasumi and Ai to arrive.
1st of October, 2019.
19:05 PM.
Alexa: After the 5 other members arrived, and after dinner, I played some games with the Nijigasaki members, and Kasumi lost all of the games! Her overconfidence is clearly her weakness!
We laughed it off a little, bit was so fun to see Kasumi fail all of the games.
And after the some table games, we have been called for a mission.

Alisa: All right, Everyone listen up.
Erusea's communication networks have been down since their satellites were destroyed. However, Osean Forces also experienced some trouble too.
All of Usea has been affected, and they have no clue when things are will be back up and running. They don't know or to be sure if this is Erusea's doing.
But we have some intel, that some of the Erusean are involved with the Belkan Grey Men.
The Grey Men are an radical terror unit who have been scattered on all of the world, creating turmoil to rebuilt and restore their own country, Belka, to it's former glory.
Still, we decided that this strategy is still following and move on after the capture of Farbanti. So, let's get to it.
Since the war began, we earlier received intel and communications from a conservative months ago. And now, we got an another one from an officer in the Erusean Army.

With the capital now under Osean control, the Erusea's radical element is losing support quickly, affecting the balance of power.
Osean HQ is thinking of using this military officer as a way to gain leverage to settle peace negotiations.
He's now hiding in the outskirts of Anchorhead Bay, having joined up with the support dispatced from the Osean Army.
The plan is that they'll take a standard car to a rendezvous point at a harbor east of the city, where a helicopter will be waiting.
Some of the Satsuman troops and tanks have arrived, as well as warships of our country will support the Osean escort, just northeast.
The new Strider Squadron will provide escort for the officer.
Cyclops will remain at the base on standby to serve as defense.
With both the communication network currently down in the capital, we have no idea if Erusea will mount a regimented counterattack.
However, it's likely that the Erusea's intelligence department and leftover Erusean forces who are aware of the officer's movements will interfere.
Keep a close eye on the officer and and make sure he stays safe.
The Osean victory of Farbanti has given them a golden opportunity to end this war, but they requested us for help.
Also note, that only the Osean aircraft the satellite-based IFF has become inreliable following the recent communications failure.
For this only for Osean aircrafts, target ID will be done by processing the images from the infrared cameras on their planes.
Most objects will appear as "UNKNOWN" on their HUDs, but will be ID'd once you close in on them for a set period of time.

Alexa: Okay, so the new Strider Squadron and I have to protect an Erusean Officer. Sounds difficult, even when the communcations failure.
Karibuchi: So to speak up. Good for you that you have a Satsuman-made aircraft. Id'ing the enemy will be much easier now that the satellites of ours are unaffected.
Alexa: Indeed. Also, I want Nozomi, Kasumi, Mia, Karin and Mari join our operation.
Yu: I will be informing them. Nozomi has a new plane ready, the Su-37.
Alexa: Good! We need those planes for air superiority.
Karibuchi: On that, I have no doubt.
Alexa: Okay, time for a another night battle.
