"This story is awesome, Pri. How does it end." Pri heard an excited voice ask her.
"You'll just have to wait as it's almost sunrise. The others and Master will wake up." Pri replied.
It'd been late-night into early morning now subrise and two purple minion pups I;black overalls wearing goggles on their purple-furred heads one male and the one who'd been reading to him, the only female purpke minion in their group, Chomper and Pricat or Pri as Chomper called her lived in El Nacho's lab with their more… mischievous siblings only they weren't intrested in that stuff which made El Macho mad but that didn't bother them because when their siblings and so called master were sleeping, Oricat stayed up reading as she'd taught herself to read so stories gave her comfort. Then Chomper had heard her and being curious he'd asked her to read to him which became their thing along with playing and having snacks they'd hidden from their sibs.
"Ummm, that's not our brothers or sisters making those noises, right." Chomper asked.
"Nope. Chomper the Anti-Villain League guts are here. We should go unless we want arrested. That happens, we'll never find a home." Pricat said taking a deep-breath packing her favourite things, a spare pair of goggles and books into her backpack as Chomper nodded. They wanted a home and people who'd love them despite their appearance but Pricat grabbed Chomper's hand as they were running towards the entrance of the lab, towards freedom and as they reached that, Chomper was pulled from Pricat by an agent knowing she had to go on promising she'd find him when she found a home for them.
After escaping into the human world, she was exploring on her own until she found Cassie Nefarious, Dr Nefario's sister and her young daughter, Lara who ended up adopting the female purple-minion making her feel like family like she had family making her hope Chomper was out there.
It was morning in the Nefarious house and Pricat had woken up from memories of her and Chomper, along with her pet raccoon Stripes hissing outside in the backyard making her rub her eye with a messy purple furred hand realising it was noon remembering she'd been up late reading and reading to Stripes, just like with Chomper back in El Macho's lair guessing it'd brought that happy but sad memory back going to see what was wrong as she didn't want the neighbours to get mad so despite her fur and purple hair being messy, she went into the backyard. "Stripes what's wrong, why say intruder-" Pricat asked in a gentle tone gasping seeing what or who the male raccoon was looking at. It was a purple-minion like her but injured, his overalls ripped and no goggles but the bracelet around his wrist caught her attention.
"C-Chomper, how did you get here, what happened to you. Lara, Mommy I need help." she called out gently as Cassie and Lara understood after coming into the backyard seeing the purple-minion she'd found seeing he needed medical attention but also how Pricat was acting. "Isthis him, the one you tell me about who was your best pal in his lair." Lara asked making Prucat nod. Cassie understood as she'd heard about Chomper from Pricat so would do her best to help him making Pricat nod going up to her room to her bookcase finding the book she'd been reading that night to Chomper guessing they could find out the ending together feeling Stripes sese she was sad.
"A bit more worried. Chomper is a good friend just like you. Thanks as if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have known." Pricat said seeing Lara enter.
"Mom made some of her tea, as you're a bit down. Chomper will be okay as from what you've told me, purple minions are tough." Lara said.
"Thanks sis. Maybe but curious about how he got here. In that state too." Pricat told her leaving the room with Stripes following her.
Cassie was relieved the female purple-minion had came downstairs guessing she'd had some alone-time to process things seeing her sit at the table placing the book on the table drinking slowly listening to what her mom was saying, relieved Chomper was okay needing to rest and letting her help, asshe knew him the best making Pricat nod plus she could read to him while he rested excited seeing he was in the bonus bed in her room making Cassie chuckle.
After drinking tea, she was helping make some for Chomper as it would help him regain his strength but brought the book with her seeing Chomper asleep in the other bed in her room in bandages sleeping making her put the tray near him. She then picked up the book reading gently to him as it was relaxing her after this morning hoping it was relaxing Chomper too seeing it was relieving Cassie as she was texting Dr Nefario and Gru saying Chomper had been foubd in their backyard so had letvPricat help him.
In the middle of the night, Stripes noticed Chomper beginning to stir feeling frightened not realising where he was waking Pricat up seeing Chomper was awake reassuring him he was safe making him stunned Pricat was here. "This is my family's home. My raccoon pal, Stripes found you in his favourite tree in our backyard and my mom fixed you up but sorry." she explained makingvChimper confused. "Sorry, why. You've done nothing wrong. You and your family saved me and it wasn't your fault that AVL goon grabbed me but you kept your promise." Chomper said softly. The light turned on seeing Cassie there as the commotion had woken her relieved Chomper was awake.
"Prinhas told us so much about you. What were you doing in that tree we found you in, or Stripes foubd you." she asked him.
"Yeah Chomper I'm curious too. It's your turn to tell us a story." Pricat encouaged him making Cassue agree.
"Okay. After the AVL stirmed the lair and seized all of us purple minions, we were put in jail. Our brothers aweren'tvhappy about this growling and upset but hated me. After a while I had enough so like Pri, I escaped trying to find her and the home she found because we know humans and our minion cousins might be afraid of us because of how we look but we wanted to find a home and family who would love us." Chomper said pausing to drink. He then told them the rest astounding them making Cassie understand knowing they had plenty of room, if he wanted to stay making Pricat excited.
"I'll think about it. Thanks Ms Nefario for your help. And taking Prinin." Chomper told her.
"That's good that you'll think about it. You're welcome." Cassie told him leaving them be.
