Video Chat Reunion
After Lincoln's victory against Clemont at the Lumiose City Gym; he and his friends went to the Pokemon Center to get Lincoln's Pokemon treated after the tough battle.
"Good job on winning your fifth badge, Lincoln." Shauna said.
"Thanks, Shauna." Lincoln replied.
"Soon, you'll be able to compete in the Kalos League." said Trevor.
"What do you want to do while your Pokemon are being treated?" ased Tierno.
"Maybe I can pay Professor Sycamore a visit." said Lincoln.
"Sure, we have time for that." said Serena. The five exit the Pokemon Center and begin to head for Professor Sycamore's lab; meanwhile, in his office, he was discussing Pokemon, via video chat, with Lincoln's second youngest sister, Lisa.
"I must say, Professor Sycamore; these Pokemon creatures are quite remarkable." said Lisa.
"Thank you, young lady." Professor Sycamore replied. "I am fascinated by their mysteries and find great satisfaction in unravelling them."
"And this Mega Evolution phenomenon is interesting indeed." said Lisa.
"Yes, and I hope to fully unlock its secrets someday." said Professor Sycamore.
"I'm sure you will in time." Lisa replied.
"Thank you." said Professor Sycamore.
"I enjoyed learning about these Pokemon from you, Professor." said Lisa. "It helps a little to take my mind off a tragedy that befell our family."
"What happened?" asked Professor Sycamore.
"We lost my only brother over a month ago." said Lisa with sorrow in her eyes.
"I'm... sorry to hear that." said Professor Sycamore.
"It's okay." said Lisa. "Our family is doing what they can to move on, but we all still miss him."
"I hope you find some closure someday." said Professor Sycamore.
"Thank you." said Lisa.
"Well, it was nice talking to you Ms... uh... forgive me, but I never got your name." said Professor Sycamore.
"My apologies." Lisa replied. "My name is Lisa Marie Loud."
"Lisa... Loud?" Professor Sycamore replied with surprise.
"Yes; is there a problem?" Lisa asked.
"This brother of yours; is his name Lincoln and does he have white hair?" Professor Sycamore asked, making Lisa's eyes widen in surprise.
"H-How did you know that?" Lisa replied.
"Over a month ago, he washed up near a town here in the Kalos region." said Professor Sycamore. "He survived."
"FAMILY! COME IN HERE, QUICK!" yelled Lisa, surprising Professor Sycamore. Seconds later, Lynn Sr, Rita, and the rest of their daughters run into Lisa and Lily's room with Lily in Rita's arms.
"What is it, Lisa?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Yeah, I was on the phone with Bobby." said Lori.
"This is Professor Sycamore." said Lisa, motioning to her laptop that showed Professor Sycamore on the screen. "He's a professor who does research on Pokemon."
"What are Pokemon?" asked Lynn Jr.
"They're mysterious creatures that exist in several regions around the world." replied Lisa. "I have been learning about them from Professor Sycamore; not only did he inform me so much on Pokemon, he also informed me on something else." said Lisa
"What?" asked Rita; tears formed in Lisa's eyes.
"Lincoln; he's alive." replied Lisa.
"WHAT?!" replied Lynn Sr, Rita, and the rest of their daughters in unison.
"It's true." said Professor Sycamore. "He washed up near Ambrette Town over a month ago after this boat that you all rented from a man named Flip got caught in a whirlpool."
"And I never mentioned what happened to Lincoln to Professor Sycamore." said Lisa.
"Do you... know where Lincoln is right now?" asked Lynn Sr with tears in his eyes. A small beep went off on another monitor on Professor Sycamore's desk; he looks at it to see Linoln and his friends entering his lab.
"You're in luck." said Professor Sycamore. "It looks like he just entered my lab."
"Can we talk to him?!" Lori asked.
"I'll call him up here right away." said Professor Sycamore.
Meanwhile, in Professor Sycamore's lab's lobby; Lincoln and his friends were looking around for him.
"Do you think Professor Sycamore's busy right now?" asked Serena.
"If he is, we shouldn't bother him." said Trevor. Just then, they hear Professor Sycamore's voice from a speaker in the ceiling.
"Lincoln?" Professor Sycamore said.
"Hi, Professor Sycamore." said Lincoln.
"Could you come up to my office, please?" asked Professor Sycamore.
"Okay." Lincoln replied.
"What do you think he wants?" asked Shauna.
"One way to find out." said Lincoln as he and his friends began heading up the lobby stairs.
Two minutes later, Lincoln's group enters Professor Sycamore's office.
"Hey, Professor." Lincoln said.
"Hello, Lincoln." Professor Sycamore replied. "There's someone who wants to see you."
"Who?" asked Lincoln. Professor Sycamore just smiles as he points at his computer screen; Lincoln and his friends walk over and look at it to see his family with tears in their eyes.
"LINCOLN!" the Louds say when they see their only son/brother.
"GUYS!" Lincoln replied as his eyes fill with tears.
"You're alive!" said Lori.
"Wincoln! Wincoln!" Lily says as she reaches out to Lisa's laptop screen.
"We thought you were a goner!" said Lynn Jr.
"I thought the same thing about all of you!" said Lincoln.
"No; we ended up on a deserted island." said Lucy.
"After we got off that island and met up with Flip, your sisters beat the nacho cheese out of him." said Rita.
"Lincoln, who are these people?" asked Shauna.
"They're... my family." Lincoln said as tears went down his cheeks.
"Your family?!" Shauna replied.
"Yes." said Lincoln. "They're okay."
"Who's she, Lincoln?" asked Luan.
"This is Shauna." said Lincoln. "She's one of the friends I made here." He then introduces his family to Serena, Tierno, and Trevor.
"It's, totes, nice to meet all of you." Leni said as she still had tears in her eyes.
"What have you been doing there all this time, Lincoln?" asked Rita. Lincoln tells his family about his Pokemon journey, his plan on competing in the Kalos League, his gym battles, the gym leaders, the people he met, even showed his family his five gym badges.
"I just need three more badges and I can compete in the Kalos League." said Lincoln.
"Sounds like you're having quite the adventure, Lincoln." said Lynn Sr.
"That rock climbing wall at the Cyllage Gym sounds like something I'd like to see." said Lynn Jr.
"Lincoln; can you even afford to go on this journey?" asked Rita.
"Yes, Mom; after a Pokemon battle between two trainers, the winning trainer gets half of the losing trainer's money." replied Lincoln.
"Whoa, dude." said Luna.
"Sounds like easy money." said Lynn Jr.
"If you're a strong trainer." said Tierno.
"Which Lincoln is." said Shauna.
"Also, I can find valuable stuff to sell under rocks." said Lincoln.
"Like what?" asked Lana. Lincoln reaches into his backpack and pulls out the Big Pearl he found on Route 13.
"Like this Big Pearl for example." said Lincoln.
"Whoa! That pearl's huge!" said Lori.
"It's the size of a softball!" said Lynn Jr.
"I WANT IT!" yelled Lola.
"Do you have any Pokemon with you, brother?" asked Lisa.
"Three are recovering after the gym battle I had about half an hour ago." said Lincoln as he takes his three other pokeballs off his waist and tosses them, releasing his Delphox, Farfetch'd, and Simipour.
"Cool!" said Lana.
"Fascinating." said Lisa.
"When my other Pokemon recover, I can show you them." said Lincoln.
"What's most important is that you're okay, son." said Lynn Sr.
"And I'm glad that you're all okay." Lincoln replied.
"I'm glad for you too also, Lincoln." said Shauna as she wraps her arms around Lincoln in a hug and gently nuzzles his cheek, making him blush; giggling was heard from Professor Sycamore's computer screen, making the two look to see Lincoln's sisters grinning at them.
"Are you two... close?" asked Lori with a big smile. Shauna quickly lets go with a blush on her face when she figured what Lincoln's sisters were getting at.
"Don't mind us." Luan said with a smirk.
"I-It's not like that." Shauna said as she blushed.
"C'mon, Shauna; you must like Lincoln." said Tierno.
"You did seem jealous those times Korrina and Astrid kissed him." said Serena with a chuckle, making Lincoln's sisters squeal with delight.
"And there's that Luvdisc encounter." said Trevor.
"What's a Luvdisc?" asked Lola.
"Pink fish Pokemon that look like hearts." said Trevor.
"They sound, totes, cute." said Leni.
"And while we were having a beach day, a school of them swam between Lincoln and Shauna as they were swimming together." said Serena.
"And it's said that any couple meeting that Pokemon will be blessed with eternal love." said Trevor, making Lincoln's sister shriek with glee, making everyone else cover their ears.
"That's, literally, a sign." said Lori.
"I'm sure you two will kiss someday." said Lola. Lincoln and Shauna looked away while rubbing their arms. "Wait; did you two already..."
"Simipour made us do it, I swear!" said Shauna.
"What do you mean?" asked Tierno. Lincoln and Shauna confessed to how Simipour made them kiss each other on the lips in Santalune Forest back when he was still a Panpour; the Loud sisters screamed in delight.
"They'll never let me live this down." said Lincoln as he pinches the bridge of his nose.
"So, what are you going to do now, Lincoln?" asked Lucy.
"While I'm waiting for my Pokemon to be treated, I'm going to find out where I'm going to go for my next gym battle." replied Lincoln.
"What gyms have you challenged so far, Lincoln?" asked Professor Sycamore.
"The Santalune City Gym, the Cyllage City Gym, the Shalour City Gym, the Courmarine City Gym, and the one here in Lumiose City." replied Lincoln.
"The nearest gym you haven't challenged yet is at Laverre City." said Professor Sycamore.
"How do I get there?" asked Lincoln.
"You go east from Lumiose City to Route 16, then go through there until you reach Route 15, then after that, you should reach Laverre City." said Professor Sycamore.
"Thanks, Professor." said Lincoln; he turned towards his family. "It's great to know you guys are okay."
"And we're happy to know you are, too, Lincoln." said Lynn Sr.
"I wish we could go to Kalos so we can root for you at the Kalos League." said Lynn Jr.
"Big family, small budget, Junior." said Rita.
"You know, there is a harbor in Coumarine City; maybe Gramps can take you all there on his boat." said Lincoln. "Courmarine City is not far from Lumiose City where the Kalos League is taking place."
"Wish we took Gramps boat on our fishing trip instead of Flip's lousy boat." said Luna.
"Speaking of that fat slob, we granted what we thought was your final request, and sued him." said Luan.
"He's, literally, in jail right now." said Lori.
"Yes!" said Lincoln, doing a double fist pump.
"I even adopted Nacho." said Lana; on cue, Nacho jumps onto Lana's shoulder and waves at Lincoln.
"And even though I know you're okay, Linky; I'll still keep sending Flip threatening letters to him while he's rotting in jail." said Lola.
"Even though he already smelled like he was rotting before we sued him." said Lori.
"And we want you to call us everyday so we can check up on you." said Rita.
"I plan on doing that whenever I'm at a Pokemon Center." said Lincoln.
"And thanks to the new worldwide communications satellite at Prism Tower, you can do that." said Professor Sycamore.
"So, that's what they were working on there." said Lincoln.
"We, literally, can't wait to talk to you again, Lincoln." said Lori.
"Neither can I." said Lincoln.
"And if you find one of those Big Pearls, hang on to it for me; I want one." said Lola.
"You got it, Lola." replied Lincoln.
After everyone says goodbye and end the call, Lincoln drops to his knees with tears in his eyes.
"Lincoln, are you okay?!" asked Shauna as she puts her hands on Lincoln's shoulders.
"I'm fine." said Lincoln. "I'm just happy and relieved that my family's okay."
Back in Royal Woods at the Loud house, Lincoln's family were in a big group hug.
"Our boy is still alive." Rita says to Lynn Sr as she wept.
"Winky." Lily says as she smiles.
"No wonder I couldn't find him with my seances." said Lucy as tears streams down her cheeks.
"I'm, totes, glad he's all right." said Leni with tears in her eyes.
"Hopefully that will mean your father will stop crying whenever someone orders the Beef well-Lincoln at his restaurant." said Rita.
"We have to tell Lincoln's friends, and Gramps and Pop-Pop, about him being alive." said Luna.
"Good idea." said Lynn Jr.
"I'll call Bobby and tell him so he can tell Ronnie Anne; Bobby told me she's still bummed over what we thought happened to Lincoln." said Lori before she takes out her phone and dials Bobby's number and walks out of Lisa's room.
"I wish we could see Lincoln's other gym battles." said Lana.
"Perhaps I can build a drone to send to the Kalos Region so we can watch." said Lisa. "I'll get started on it right away." Lisa then walks to her desk.
Lincoln and his family have learned about each other's survival. What else will happen as Lincoln's Kalos adventure continues? Wait and find out.
