*Theme Song Plays*
The final eight were in the mess hall, and everyone was in a really great mood. And who could blame them? Prince Charming was finally gone, but that doesn't mean they're not taking the game seriously anymore.
"Finally...he's gone." Diane said with a huge smirk on her face. "I thought he'd never leave."
"And to think he was so desperate to stay, he'd change the votes." Sasha said. "Talk about pathetic."
"Frankly, I expected that kinda stunt from Jack." Flint said.
"I heard that!" Jack yelled. "Don't forget you're still dealing with a mad genius."
"Don't get comfortable, dumbass." Loona said. "Without pretty boy here, you're pretty much screwed next elimination."
"And you and Meg aren't?" Jack asked.
"He's gotta point." Sasha said. "It's anyone's game at this point."
"Sasha's right." Diane said and soon formed a sly smile. "Without Charming or Father to hide behind, and you being the final villain here...the odds are stacked against you assuming anyone other than you wins immunity."
Jack could only glare at Diane, but he had to admit he was right. The situation he was currently in wasn't in his favor.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"The dog's right about one thing, I'm completely outnumbered." Jack said. "I gotta start upping my game here! I can't afford to lose, especially when I've gotten this far!"
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Final 8...I never expected to make it this far." Meg said. "Granted I did some...questionable things to get here, but now that Loona is...kinda, my friend. I have a chance to make it to the finals. At least I hope."
000000000000000000000000000000000
Loona was only texting on her phone.
"Yeah, I knew I'd make it this far." Loona said nonchalantly.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Final 8!" Sasha cheered. "I'm so close to winning the whole thing! Bring it, McLean! I've dealt with things far worse than these challenges."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Me making it this far was surely a surprise." Flint said. "I guess lying low's really paid off. But with Charming gone, the ones left to worry about are Diane along with Meg and Loona."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Final 8! Yes!" Yuya cheered. "Don't worry Ladies and Gentlemen, I promise to put on a great finale for you guys!"
000000000000000000000000000000000
"So, I'm nearing the end." Luz said. "I'd be excited, but I'm mostly really nervous. So much competition left to deal with, hopefully my new friendship with Flint pays off.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"No surprise someone like me would make it this far, I didn't become Governor and be formally known as the greatest thief in the world for nothing." Diane smirked. "So close to that million dollars."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"So...since we all got this far, how about we get to know ourselves a bit?" Flint asked. "As to why we joined in the first place?"
"Sure." Yuya smiled warmly.
"Alright, Lockwood." Diane smiled. "What made you want to join the show?"
"Well, I want to use it to fund a little passion project my friends and I and wanna do...Sparkswood." Flint said. "With that money, we can make our dream a reality."
"So, a science research facility?" Jack asked. "Okay, as a Boy Genius, I can respect that."
"Yeah, but growing up...people didn't really believe in me." Flint said.
They looked interested, especially Luz.
"So...you were a social outcast?" Sasha asked.
"Yes." Flint said. "People often made fun of me for my interest in science and inventions...but I never gave up."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Wow, Flint and I have more in common than I thought." Luz said. "Both of us were outcasts because we enjoyed doing what we loved."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"That's the spirit, Flint." Yuya smiled. "Don't give up on your dreams."
"Huh, I can kinda relate to that." Luz said. "I wasn't exactly socially accepted either. Everyone thought I was weird cause of...let's just say, hyper imagination."
"That would do it." Meg said. "I'm just hated by everyone in general...both my family and peers, for no good reason."
"That ain't right." Yuya said disgusted.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"I guess we're not so different as I originally thought." Flint commented.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"So, I guess you came on to Total Drama to prove them all wrong?" Diane summarized.
"Yeah." Meg nodded. "But if I don't win...they told me to never come back."
"Jeez, talk about a messed-up family." Luz said.
"I was just so desperate to stay in the game for as long as I can...and that's why I joined Father's alliance." Meg said. "I did some things I'm not proud of, and I'm sorry."
"It's all good." Luz said. "At least Father and Charming are gone."
"I'm still here." Jack smirked.
"Oh no, we're so scared." Loona rolled her eyes sarcastically.
Jack glared at that comment, while the others giggled.
"So many social outcasts here." Sasha noticed. "Me on the other hand, I was more of the popular girl in school."
"The kind that bullies and manipulates other students?" Meg asked. "'Cause I've dealt with that before.
"Yes." Sasha said. "But after an...adventure, I've come to improve as a person."
"That's good." Yuya smiled.
"Glad to know some people can change." Meg said.
As soon as the contestants were wrapping up their breakfast, as soon as...they're relaxation was about to come to an end.
"Good morning, Campers!" Chris announced. "Meet me at the main area for today's challenge!"
"Another day, another agonizing challenge." Yuya said.
Soon to contestants met with Chris, who was in the area with Chef.
"Contestants, congratulations on making it to the final 8!" Chris said. "You've all fought tooth and nail to get here, you should be proud of yourselves."
The contestants smiled hearing that.
"But since we're nearing the end, I think it's time to shake things up." Chris said. "So time for the next challenge."
Chris soon snapped his fingers, and soon revealing it self were...eight chairs.
"Today's challenge is...McLean's Musicial Chairs!" Chris said.
They looked at Chris unimpressed.
"What is this? Elementary School?" Sasha asked.
"I'm not so sure." Flint said. "There's most certainly a catch."
"And right you are, Lockwood." Chris smirked. "One thing I love doing is turning fun kiddie games into life-threatening experiences. The rules of this challenge are simple, contestants will walk around the chairs, when you hear a buzzer, you must quickly find a chair to sit in."
Yuya soon looked at the number of chairs.
"Uh, Chris?" He asked. "Isn't there supposed to be one less chair?"
"And THIS is where the McLean touch happens, isn't it?" Meg asked nervously.
"You all know me so well." Chris said. "All but one chair are actual chairs, one exception contains a...surprise."
"Surprise?" Luz asked.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"McLean plus Surprise equals Disaster." Luz said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Now, there will be 8 rounds." Chris said. "The last contestant who's somehow lucky enough to survive this gauntlet wins immunity."
"Yeah, I'd like to use my Challenge Pass here." Luz said. "I think I'm gonna sit this one out."
"You sure?" CHris said. "You can still be up for elimination."
"It's a risk I'm willing to take." Luz said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Besides, with Diane and her alliance still here. I think they'd be more interested in taking out the main competition rather than me." Luz said comfortably.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Oh, you're no fun." Chris said. "As for you Diane, you have your Immunity Gift, would you like to use it now?"
"Yes, please." Diane nodded. "I'll have to use it on Sasha."
Sasha gave her a nod of respect.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"With it being the final 8 now, I had to use my reward for my alliance." Diane said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Phew." Sasha said wiping her head in relief. "Since this is a luck based challenge, I needed that."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"So Sasha's safe for another day, big deal." Jack said. "Diane is still wide open, as well as Yuya."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Okay, Luz is sitting this out and Sasha is immune, regardless of winning or not." Chris said. "So with Luz out, that leaves a chair open...so choose, wisely."
Luz went to sit on the bleachers as everyone else started to gather around the chairs.
"Are you ready?" Chris asked, the other contestants nodded. "Good, you will hear two buzzers—one to start walking around the chairs and one to sit down."
"Let's get this over with." Loona said unimpressed.
"Alright...annnnnd." CHris said as he pressed a button and a buzzer went off. "Go!"
The contestants soon began to walk slowly around the chairs as the contestants stood just looking at them with a hint of worry, cause they didn't know which was a chair and the other was rigged.
"Not gonna lie, this is pretty nerveracking." Yuya said.
"Thanks, Sherlock." Jack said.
"Alright, I think that's enough walking." Chef said. "Chris, can I do the honors?"
"By all means, dude." Chris smirked as Chef hit the button once again and all the contestants soo ran to the closest chairs they could find...and soon one chair's seat busted open with paint coming out.
"What the?!" Flint said as some of it got on him.
"Yep." Chris smirked. "That's the surprise. The rigged seats have something special in them...paint, ants, spiders, itching powder, you name it. But thanks to Luz sitting out...you all were spared, for now."
"That was a close one." Meg said.
They soon sat up, the ground soon opened beneath them as the chairs went down into the ground, soon they rose back up and now there were seven chairs.
"Each round, the chairs will switch up. Got keep things interesting, ya know." Chris said. "Now...Go!"
He pressed the button and the buzzer rung once again, they soon walked around the circle of chairs once again.
They had looks of nervousness as they were still deciding.
"Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock." Chris said mockingly.
"Not. Helping." Flint said.
"Wasn't trying to." Chris assured. "And...Time's up!"
The buzzer went off and soon ran to the seven remaining seats...and unfortunately, Yuya was the first one out as his seat cushion exploded covering him with iticing cream.
"Gah!" Yuya said and soon began to itch himself all over. "ITCHY! ITCHY! ITCHY!"
"And Yuya's out!" Chris said. "Only seven remain."
"Gah!" Yuya yelled as he was really itchy, Jack could only laugh at this.
"You won't be laughing soon." Sasha said. "You don't know you'll be safe, next turn."
"You don't either." Jack said.
"Actually, I am." Sasha smirked. "Immunity, remember?"
Jack growled at that.
"Next round!" Chris announced.
Soon the chairs switched out once more and revealing another set of six chairs.
"And...GO!" Chris said, as the final six walked around some more. And Jack looked nervous before getting an idea.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Alright, time to play dirty." Jack said before smiling with evil glee. "Time to make people take a fall."
000000000000000000000000000000000
And soon the end buzzer went off, and the contestants ran to find a seat...but soon Jack tripped over Flint.
"Hey!" Flint yelled.
"Sorry, accident." Jack said with a smirk before sitting down.
Flint soon took the final seat.
But unfortunately...Flint's cushion exploded and was covered in Mud.
"Ha!" Jack said.
"Looks like Jack Spicer is starting to play dirty." Chris said. "But now only five of you remain, stakes are getting higher...so of course people are gonna have to do whatever it takes to win this challenge."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Of course that dork is gonna play dirty now." Loona said and soon scoffed smirked. "Two can play at that game."
000000000000000000000000000000000
They walked around the circle, deciding which chair to sit on as a few seconds later...the buzzer went off once again.
They ran to find a seat. Jack was gonna try a dirty trick on Meg, but before he could...Loona grabbed him.
"Move it, asshole!" Loona said and threw him.
"Hey! Not cool, mutt!" Jack yelled.
Loona didn't care but took a seat.
"Thanks for the save." Meg smiled.
"Yeah, whatever." Loona said.
Jack only got up and went to the last seat, and he sat crossing his fingers that his seat wasn't rigged.
"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon..." Jack said, soon the rigged seat went off and saw it was Sasha's
"GAH!" Sasha yelled as she was covered in green paint. "Darn it!"
"And looks like Jack lucked out and Sasha took the rigged chair." Chris said.
"Yes, boy genius gets to stay for another round!" Jack said with relief.
"Damn!" Loona yelled. "You got lucky."
"And then there were four." Chris said. "This is getting more tense."
They soon walked around the circle once more before Jack glares at the three remaining.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"One of those three needs to leave tonight." Jack growled. "But who...the fox, the mutt or the girl?"
000000000000000000000000000000000
Loona looked around and saw who was left for a chance at Immunity. Diane, Jack and Meg.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"This isn't good." Loona said. "Diane, Jack, the dumbass genius and Meg my only ally are the only ones left. I can't let either Diane or Jack win, DIane's a big threat and we've had enough evil assholes."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Not gonna lie...my odds are horrible." Meg said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"C'mon, Diane!" Yuya cheered.
"Yeah, you got this!" Sasha smirked.
"Loona, what do we do?" Meg asked. "We can't let Jack or Diane win."
"You think I don't know that." Loona growled. "We target Diane."
"For once, I agree." Jack said. "Sorry Foxy, but your times up."
"We'll see." Diane smirked.
Soon the buzzer went off and ran to the closest seat, Meg managed to get a seat while Jack, Loona and Diane were fighting for one too.
"Back off girls! That immunity is mine!" Jack said.
"Forget it, asshole!" Loona said grabbed him.
"THanks for the help." DIane smirked at Loona and found a seat, and Loona growled, very annoyed.
"For f**k's sake." Loona muttered and sat down while Jack got to the last seat.
"C'mon." Sasha prayed.
"Aaaand." Chris said.
Soon the booby trap went off as it was spring that launched Jack out of his chair, with him screaming in the process and hit the ground.
"And Jack Spicer is out!" Chris said. "Now we're down to the final three: Diane, Loona and Meg!"
000000000000000000000000000000000
"This isn't good!" Jack said panicking. "I hope Diane is out next, otherwise I'm next to go home!"
000000000000000000000000000000000
Alright, now that we're down to the final three, it's time to change things up a little bit." Chris smirked. "Now we'll start to play traditional musical chairs. No more booby trapped chairs."
"So that means only two people can move on to the final round." Diane said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"I need to win." Loona said. "Diane needs to go...TONIGHT!
000000000000000000000000000000000
"This should be interesting." Luz said.
"So it's down to the three girls." Flint said.
"All who have threat status." Jack muttered.
"Meg, we can't let Diane win, ya got that?" Loona asked.
Meg nodded in understanding.
"Good luck girls." Diane smirked.
"Alright...you ready?" Chris asked. "And...GO!"
He played the music, the final three contestants walked around that one chair, looking nervous as they all wanted that immunity...it was down to the line here, and soon the music soon turned off and Diane sat in the chair quickly.
Meg and Loona saw this in shock as Diane now had a shot for immunity.
They saw the final chair. Meg tried to make a break for it...but Loona growled and punched her in the gut and fell to the ground.
"Loona...why?" Meg asked.
Loona only growled and sat down, taking her spot for the final chair.
"And after that backstabbing move, Loona takes her spot for the final part of the challenge!" Chris announced.
Meg only looked at Loona, with a hurt look that the one she tried making friends with hurt her for the sake of winning a challenge...not once, but twice now.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Loona...why?" Meg asked saddened.
000000000000000000000000000000000
She was texting on her phone before looking at the camera.
"What?" Loona asked, annoyed. "I'm just playing the game. And I don't trust her to beat Diane."
000000000000000000000000000000000
Meg soon sat by the bleachers a bit saddened while the others looked.
"Some alliance member, huh?" Jack smirked.
"Better than you." Meg shot back at Jack.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Hmm." Jack started thinking. "Who to get rid of..." He smirked laughing. "Sometimes, they make it too easy."
000000000000000000000000000000000
Soon Diane and Loona stood up, with Diane giving Loona look of disgust.
"Is that how you treat your friends?" Diane asked, glaring at the hellhound.
"Oh shut the hell up." Loona, rolled her eyes.
"Ladies, ladies." Chris said trying to break it up. "Save it for the final part of this challenge. The last chair, and your chance to stay in the game for another day. Your free to brawl it out for the spot. You have on minute to get on the chair when the song stops...so make it snappy."
"You're going down, Fox." Loona growled.
"Temper, temper." Diane said.
"Begin circling around the chair...Now!" Chris said as he pressed the button.
THe two glared at each other as they circled around the last chair.
"C'mon Diane, you got this!" Yuya cheered.
"Don't let your guard down!" Sasha called.
Jack soon looked at Meg.
"Aren't you gonna cheer for your pet dog or something?" He asked mockingly.
Meg only looked away.
"And it looks like the fight for immunity starts...Now!" Chris said.
He soon turned off the music and now a timer till one minute started counting down.
Diane ran for the chair, but Loona grabbed her by the tail and threw her across.
"Not this time!" Loona yelled.
Diane got up glaring and charged at Loona and drop kicked her, but Loona regained her balance.
"Diane and Loona are having one big catfight right now." Jack said. "Meow."
"And looks like the hounds are neck and neck." Chris said getting excited. "Who will take it home tonight?"
Loona and DIane still continued to brawl it out for the last spot, but neither of them seemed to be giving the other a fighting chance.
"Your not half bad." Diane said.
"I'll admit, not too bad yourself." Loona replied.
Soon the timer hit 30 seconds, there was not much time to get immunity now.
"30 seconds remain, guys. Better pick up the pace or everybody's up for elimination." Chris said. "Tick tock. Tick tock."
"Move it!" Loona yelled. "I don't have time for this!"
"Neither do I." Diane said.
She soon sweep kicked Loona down and ran for the chair.
"You little!" Loona growled and ran after her on all fours.
"20 Seconds." Chris said.
The crowd was looking in suspense.
"C'mon, the suspense is killing me!" Sasha said.
"You got this, Diane!" Yuya cheered.
But Loona tackled her down and they rolled.
"10 second left!" Chris said. "9...8...7...6..."
They continued rolling until Loona managed kick her her away and Diane rolled on the ground.
"5...4...3...2..."
Soon Loona with barely any time left reach the chair and sat down.
"Loona wins immunity!" Chris said.
"Well played, Loona." Diane said getting up.
Loona only got up and looked at her phone and walked way.
"As for the rest of you, see you at Elimination." Chris said.
Soon after the challenge, Flint and Luz were hanging out by the beach area.
"So, who are we voting for?" Flint asked.
"Diane seems like the best option." Luz said. "She's the biggest threat right now. Without her, the game will be an easy shot."
"I suppose, but there's still Loona." Flint said. "She's won two challenges in a row now."
"We'll get her eventually." Luz said.
"If you wanna get her now, I have a suggestion."
They looked to see Jack Spicer, but glared.
"What do you want?" Luz asked.
"How about we vote Meg off?" Jack suggested.
"We? What we?" Luz asked, uninterested. "And why Meg specifically?"
"Cause she's Loona's ally, duh." Jack said. "Get rid of her only ally, and she'll be easier to take out with no one to protect her."
"Seems like Loona doesn't value her at all if you ask me, given what she did in the last two challenges." Flint said.
"But Meg is becoming the threat herself too." Jack countered.
They heard this and looked at eachother.
"Think on it." Jack smirked walking off.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Yes, Loona's a threat. I know that already." Jack said. "But Meg is also one to...I know an underdog when I see it, and they always bounce back."
000000000000000000000000000000000
"I know Jack is trying to mess with our heads, but Meg could be a potential threat herself." Luz said and thought on it.
000000000000000000000000000000000
At the Mess Hall, Meg was sitting on the steps with Loona leaning on the wall with her phone in hand.
"So...who we voting tonight?" Meg asked her. "Diane?"
"No sh*t, Sherlock." Loona said. "COnsider us both lucky that I managed to win. Now neither of our asses will be up for elimination."
"I still am." Meg said. "And did you have to do that to me in the challenge?"
"Do what?" Loona asked with her eyebrow raised.
"Punch me in the gut like that?" Meg asked. "That really hurt, you know."
"Oh, quit bitchin'." Loona said.
"Do you even care?" Meg asked starting to get up. "I thought we were friend, after what happened on Boney Island I thought that..."
"It was to toughen you up." Loona growled.
"Yeah, but your being such a jerk." Meg said. "We're supposed to be a team...my friend."
Loona only looked at her for a minute before growling and looking away.
Meg only looked in disappointment before walking off.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Loona's help me a lot during the merge." Meg said. "But right now...she seems to care more about herself than our friendship...if there even was one."
000000000000000000000000000000000
Jack was behind a tree and smirked seeing this.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Seems like Meg is having doubts about Loona's loyalty." Jack said. "Perhaps, I can use that to my advantage
000000000000000000000000000000000
At the cabins, Diane looked worried.
"So, I think we should take out Meg." Sasha said.
"Why her?" Yuya asked.
"Because she seems to be Loona's biggest ally." Sasha said. "With her being immune, that seems like our best option.
"That is true." Yuya said. "So with Meg and Loona most likely voting against Diane, Jack probably doing that as well. So we just cross our fingers and hope that Flint and Luz choose someone else."
"We'll see what happens at the vote tonight." Diane said.
It was then nighttime and the final 8 contestants met at the campfire ceremony, where Chris was waiting for them.
"This lovely Final 8 will soon become the lovely Final 7." Chris said. "Another elimination, another person with crushed dreams. But luckily for Loona and Sasha, they have immunity for this vote. The six of you...not so much."
They looked at each other.
"Now...get voting." Chris said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"See you never, Diane." Loona said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Gotta take out the biggest threat." Flint said.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"Doesn't matter who goes home, a threat leaves the game." Jack smirked.
000000000000000000000000000000000
"The votes are cast, now time for the marshmallows of safety." Chris said as he spun to plate with his finger. "Sasha and Loona are safe."
He soon tossed the two girls their marshmallows.
"Now for the rest..." Chris said/
"Yuya."
"Jack."
"Luz."
"And Flint... you're all safe." Chris said.
Soon that left Diane and Meg.
"Diane and Meg, it's down to you." Chris said. "Diane, you've led quite a powerful alliance up to this point, which has deemed you a threat to many contestants. Meg, you've been known to work with the villains in the past and is an ally to another threat in the game. Both are very valid reasons to send one of you packing. Which will be leaving tonight? Well, let's find out. The last marshmallow goes to..."
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"...Meg."
Meg looked shocked as she caught her marshmallow, Diane only looked shocked before smiling and stood up.
"I had a good run." Diane said smirking. "My luck was bound to run out eventually."
"Aw man." Yuya said bummed.
"Don't worry, we'll keep going for ya." Sasha said with a confident smile.
"Buh-bye." Jack smirked waving.

"I figured it was Diane going home tonight." Jack said. "For the best, she was a big threat. Now it's time to break the bond between Loona and Meg's little friendship."

"Yeah, Diane had to go." Flint said. "No way someone like me would be able to beat her in the finale if she stayed longer."

"I got lucky." Meg said with relief. "But seriously, I need to do something about Loona otherwise we're screwed.

Diane was soon loaded inside the cannon, but didn't look scared whatsoever.
"Bye Diane." Yuya waved. "We'll miss you."
"Don't worry about it." Diane smiled. "Just keep on going."
"You bet we will." Sasha said back.
"Bon voyage, Diane Foxington!" Chris said.
He soon pressed the button and soon launched the orange fox out of the cannon, and she was heard screaming off into the distance.
"And with Diane out of the game, that leaves our Final 7! We're nearing the end folks!" Chris said with such glee. "What does the wannabe Boy Genius have in store? Will the friendship between Meg and Loona last! And will I be greenlit for another season! Spoiler alert for that last one. I am." Chris said. "As for the other questions...find out next time here on...Total...Drama...Universe!"

And with that, we have another chapter done! Diane has been eliminated, one of the story's biggest players is gone! Leaving our Final 7: Yuya, Sasha, Meg, Loona, Jack, Luz and Flint. Who are you rooting for? Let me know in the reviews.
As always, challenge suggestions are welcome in the reviews and PM's. Let's see if we can get this story done soon!
A little update regarding Cruis'n. It is by no means cancelled. I'm just struggling with ideas, so ideas for that as well are welcome.
Till next time...this is UnchartedCoast2, signing off!
Peace out!
