An evil force is at work with it affecting somewhere no human is even aware that it even exists. A dark cloud hovers in the sky of a wasteland with a mysterious figure gazing upon it. He could feel the great evil in those clouds and feared for us all.
"This is not good. The darkness is growing. An evil will soon be released. Only one can stop it, but I need to be sure if she really has the power. If this evil would return, our world and her world will be no more."

Lustrous City
The Worldwide Supreme Tournament has come and gone now. Yukina and her friends dueled hard and are now considered some of the best duelists in the world. Yukina and the others also managed to bring down the Black Ace's plans once again, but the Black Ace continues to allude the authorities. They're still out there, but things are at peace right now.
"My move, Cindy." Felix said as he and Cindy are in the middle of a duel right now. "I'm playing my Gladiator Beast Laquari!" He summoned out his monster. Cindy seemed rather nervous about this.
"Oh man. That's going to be a problem." Cindy said. She tried to figure out how she was going to get out of this one. As for Cindy, she just relaxed against the grass and enjoyed things.
'Man. What a relaxing day.' Yukina thought with her feeling relaxed, but looked back at all that has happened to her and her friends lately. 'The Worldwide Supreme Tournament is over. Ever since that, we've been getting more and more challenges or people wanting some silly autographs. Marcus went back home and patched things up with Dana and Snyder so they could start their own team. We've also made a lot of friends during our trip around the world, and ones that are willing to help with the Black Ace. Speaking of the Black Ace, what could they be up to? As long as they're out there, they're a problem to everyone. Especially since they are now holding four of the six Malicious Fiends. We have to make sure the remaining two are protected. Arthur is keeping his safe, but Raika is another matter. We don't even know where he is. What could Diego be up to? What's his next move? Better enjoy the peace while I can.' Yukina wanted to do just that. She understands that as long as the Black Ace is still out there, they're a threat to everyone, but she's glad for the times where they can duel just for fun instead of the fate of the whole world.
"Wake up, Yukina. The time to act is now." Yukina opened her eyes and saw something happened to her in a mere instant. She wasn't in Lustrous City anymore, but some sort of wasteland. She sat up and looked around, but she couldn't see anything.
"What the heck?! Where am I?! How did I get here?!" Yukina questioned. "Felix! Cindy! Are you out there?! Can you hear me?!" She called out for anyone to respond, but the place was completely deserted. She had no clue what was going on and didn't know where she was. "This is really weird. Where in the world am I?"
"You're not in your world at the moment, Yukina Osama." Yukina looked and was finally met with someone. To her surprise, it wasn't a person exactly. It was a figure she was familiar with, but have never seen it alive before. It looked like one of the duel monsters from the cards.
"No way! I know you! You're Gearfried the Iron Knight!" Yukina said. "Wow. That's some costume you're wearing. You look just like the real thing. So, who are you really? Is this some sort of movie set?"
"This is very real, Yukina. I have brought you here through magical means." Gearfried claimed.
"Very amusing, but I'm not really in the mood for whatever this is." Yukina said. She really believed this was some sort of trick.
"Forgive me for this." Gearfried claimed. He swung his blade dangerously close to Yukina's face. When that happened, Yukina could actually feel the blade, especially when she noticed a could threads of her hair was chopped off. When she realized what happened, she screamed.
"That blade is real?! Are you crazy?! Someone could get hurt from that!" Yukina said. "Hold on a second. If that blade is real..." Yukina had to be sure about this. She moved closer and poked Gearfried around to feel that his armor was the real thing. "That's real armor, too?! What is going on?!"
"This is no trick or illusion, Yukina Osama." Gearfried claimed. "I have brought you here for a test."
"You mean... You're the real Gearfried?! How is that even possible, and what test are you talking about?!" Yukina questioned. He showed what he meant by holding up a deck of cards. "A duel?! I don't know what's going on, but now you're talking my language. This is going to be fun." Lucky for her, her deck and duel disk was brought with her. She brought it all together and got herself ready for a duel. "Okay. I'm all set to go, so bring it on."
"Very well. Let's see if you're the duelist I hear you are." Gearfried claimed with his shield turning into a duel disk. Yukina didn't understand what was happening to her, but she loves the chance for a duel.
"Let's duel!" Both said and now had 4000LP.
"I shall make the first move!" Gearfried claimed with him going first. "I summon myself! Gearfried the Iron Knight!" He brought out a copy of himself with it having 1800atk points.
"What?! You can play yourself?!" Yukina questioned.
"Yes, as well as my other forms." Gearfried claimed. "That's why I'm playing Release Restraint to bring out my true self! Gearfried the Swordsmaster!" The armor on his copy burst apart and brought out a new warrior with it having 2600atk points.
'That could be a problem. Especially if he plays an equip spell. He can then destroy one of my monsters.' Yukina thought.
"I end my turn. Make your move." Gearfried said.
"Here goes!" Yukina said with her drawing her card. "To start, I play Wild Spawning! If I send a fish to the graveyard, I get two egg tokens! So, I'll say goodbye to Wild Ally Jellyfish and hello to my two eggs!" Yukina claimed with her discarding a card and two eggs appeared with 0def points. "But they won't be staying. I tribute them to summon Wild Ally Salamander!" Yukina tributed her two eggs and out came a new Wild Ally with it being a giant red lizard with 1600atk points. "Next, I play Poison Scales! This card can only equip to a reptile Wild Ally!" She then had purple scales form over her Salamander. "Wild Ally Salamander, attack his swordmaster!"
"What's the point?" Gearfried questioned.
"You'll see soon enough." Yukina said. Her Salamander attacked by igniting itself in flames and rolled at its opponent, but the master called upon a sword and slashed right through it with Yukina's life points dropping to 3000. "And now, Poison Scales effect actives! When the monster equipped with it is destroyed in battle, your monster goes with it and you take double the damage I would have taken!"
"I what?!" Gearfried said. Suddenly, his monster was destroyed and his life points dropped to 2000. "I'll place this facedown. Now that we've reached the end of this turn, Wild Ally Salamander's effect activates! If it's destroyed in battle while it was in attack mode, it resurrects in defense mode." She claimed with her Salamander coming back and having 2800def points.
'Impressive. She took some damage, but dealt me twice the damage and destroyed a powerful monster. She even fortified her defenses.' Gearfried thought. Yukina appeared to be doing well. "Let's see how you handle this!" He drew his next card and got ready to make his move. "I play my Polymerization spell to fuse together my dark attribute Cursed Knight and my fire attribute Phoenix Gearfried!" He took his two warriors and fused them together to summon a brand new warrior. "I fusion summon Gilti-Gearfried the Magical Steel Knight!" He summoned out a brand new warrior with it having 2700atk points.
"Pretty impressive monster, but now you can't use it's full power. In order to do that, you needed both your monsters on the field." Yukina claimed. "Besides, it doesn't have enough power to get around my Salamander."
"Very clever, but I have something else in mind." Gearfried claimed. "When my Cursed Knight is used in a fusion summon, one monster loses 500atk points, and I choose Gilti-Gearfried."
"How does that help?" Yukina questioned.
"Because of Gilti-Gearfried's special ability." Gearfried said. "When an effect targets Gilti-Gearfried, I can negate that effect and destroy your Salamander."
"Oh boy." Yukina said with her knowing this was going to hurt. Gilti-Gearfried attacked by unleashing a powerful slash that went right through Yukina's Salamander and destroyed it.
"With your Salamander out of the way, Gilti-Gearfried is now free to attack you directly!" Gearfried called with his warrior attacking. It slashed right at Yukina with her life points dropping all the way down to just 300. "You're not doing so well now."
"I play my trap: Ghost Looming!" Yukina called. "Thanks to this trap, I can revive one monster that was destroyed during this turn, and half of it's attack points are added to the controller's life points! That means my salamander is still coming back!" She claimed with her Salamander returning in defense mode and her life points rising to 1100.
"Not bad, but it won't save you. Unless you can pull something out this turn, my Gilti-Gearfried will finish you." Gearfried warned.
"Well, I better make sure I don't lose than. It's my turn!" Yukina said with her drawing her next card. "I activate Charitable Reward! I have to pay 800LP to use this spell, but it does allow me to draw two cards." Her life points dropped back down to 300, but she drew two cards. However, those two cards ended up being Wild Force and Wild Ally Hawk. Their effects can't help her.
"You just dug yourself into deeper trouble. Unless those two cards can help you, this duel is over." Gearfried claimed. "Keep in mind that whatever card you try against Gilti-Gearfried, I can negate it and destroy your cards."
"I know, but I don't need to use any against your monster." Yukina claimed. "I switch my salamander to attack mode." She claimed with her salamander switching modes. "My salamander has another effect, and it now activates. Whenever it switches from defense mode to attack mode, it gains 1000atk points!" Her salamander gained power with it now having 2600atk points. "I now summon Wild Ally Hawk to the field!" She brought out her hawk with it having 1600atk points. "Now that I have that done, I can use Wild Force and equip it to Wild Ally Salamander to give it 500atk points!" Her salamander gained even more power with it now having 3100atk points.
"But that means..." Gearfried stuttered with him doing the math.
"This duel is over." Yukina finished. "Wild Ally Salamander, attack his knight! Rolling Flare!" Her Salamander attacked and was able to destroy his monster with Gearfried's life points dropping to 1600. "And with him out of the way, Wild Ally Hawk can attack and finish this!" Her hawk flew in and attacked with it striking with its talons. That was enough to bring all of Gearfried's life points to zero and end the match.
"Very nicely done, Yukina." Gearfried said. "You pass my test. Perhaps you are the one that can save us."
"You were testing me? What for?" Yukina said.
"Yukina, there is a darkness brewing that affects both this world and your world." Gearfried claimed. "As you know, you humans possess decks that contain mystical powers. The fact that I'm standing here is prof of that."
"Yeah. Many people, including my father, believed that the origin of Duel Monsters comes from mystical sources, and that those powers came to our world when it was first created."
"Exactly." Gearfried said. "Now, a dark and evil force is attempting to resurrect. You must stop it."
"Why me?" Yukina questioned.
"Because you faced the keys to this power before, as well as defeated it." Gearfried claimed.
"Hold on. Are you talking about the six Malicious Fiends?" Yukina said.
"I am." Gearfried confirmed. "Yukina, you must stop this evil from returning."
"But I don't know where to begin." Yukina said.
"Learn the origin of the Malicious Fiends and you will find the answer." Gearfried claimed. "You also must not hesitate. The darkness is growing, and if it isn't stopped, it shall be revived. If you do manage to stop it, the Malicious Fiends shall be destroyed for good."
"Their origin? But I don't even know where to begin." Yukina said, but the world around her began to fade away. "Wait! Gearfried!"
"You know the path, Yukina. You and your friends must save us all." Gearfried claimed before he completely vanished from her sight.
"Yukina! Yukina! Can you hear me?!" Yukina was beginning to wake up like she just had a dream and saw Felix and Cindy right over her.
"Thank goodness. You were out of it for a while and we were getting worried." Felix said. "Are you okay?" Yukina stood up and knew what she experienced was no dream. It sounds like something bad is coming, and the Malicious Fiends are the keys to it all. She knows how dangerous they can be and something must be done.
"I know what we have to do." Yukina said. If a great darkness is coming, this could be the chance Yukina and her friends need to end the Malicious Fiends, and possibly the Black Ace, once and for all.
