What would happen if Minerva decided she could not leave baby Harry alone on the Dursley's doorstep in the middle of the night? What would happen if she decided to raise Harry as her own to honor James and Lily Potter's memory and sacrifice? The main characters are J.K Rowling's, I might make up a few names here and there especially for the goblins and other magical creatures.

I sent messages to those who left the comments but I wanted to make some of the information pubic as well.

I'm glad that this story has connected with some of you in such a way.
I love the fact that Rowling was able to create such a world when she was sitting on the train.

It's just as someone who grew up experiencing abuse and the manipulations of others there were certain aspects that just bothered me, no matter the reasoning behind them.

I have a few more chapters written but hope to continue the time line. Once I figure out how far ahead each jump will be without disrupting the flow of the story, I'm hoping that with a few time jumps, that I'll be able to at least the completion of Harry's first year at Hogwarts.
I went back and forth with Harry using the "Mamma" title so early. In the end I put it in because for me he would be feeling that bond and connection through the blood adoption that was completed. As well as the bond that would formed through breastfeeding. At this point he's round 15 months old so while he may not understand everything that's happening, he has known Minerva his whole life, she has been like another maternal figure in his upbringing, and at this point she's been the main person that's been with him since the death of his parents. He used her nickname MinnKitti in Amelia's office and I will have that scattered in a couple more places because, magic or no magic, this is still a transition for him.
