Chapter 3
Rogue and the four women were now inside the Mermaid Heel building. At first there was nothing but darkness for a short moment while they walked on the floor, but then it slowly got brighter when they went farther down. Then they arrived at the lobby which was huge and looked like a 10 star hotel. Rogue was very impressed and he kept looking at the lobby, while the four Mermaid Heel mages only giggled at his reaction. "Well, i told you that the inside of this building will impress you even more." Lucy said with a smile and kept looking at the dragon slayer, who was still speechless and didn't know what to say.
He saw many other members in the lobby, who were talking and laughing with each other and they had a great time together. His impressed expression changed into a nervous expression and looked down while he was thinking."Now, i think it was not a good idea to come to this place here with them." He thought while he still had a nervous look on his face, which the four female mages noticed and looked at him with concerned expressions.
"Rogue? Are you alright?" Kagura asked the black haired shadow dragon slayer and patiently waited for a response from him. He then made a noise of surprise and looked at her and noticed the worried expression on her face. He then also looked at the other three Mermaid Heel mages, and saw how they were worried about him as well. He then sighed before he then looked at Kagura again. "Well… the thing is now i think it was not a good idea to come with you girls to this place, even though you gave me permission to go inside the building with you here…." He said and paused for a moment, and then looked down with a sad expression while the four only looked at him with a confused look on their faces.
"What do you mean by that?... Why do you think now that this was not a good idea?" Erza asked him in a calm tone and kept looking at her crush with a confused expression. He sighed again before he then looked at the red haired Requip Mage with a serious expression this time."What i mean by that is, there are probably some members here who don't like to see a man in this building now…" He paused again and kept looking at Erza who now looked at him with a surprised expression and the three other mages were also surprised now, while she and her fellow guild mates still listened closely to what he said before he then continued with his speech.
"And i'm pretty sure that some of them still remember that horrible night, when these few men were illegally entering this place here without permission and because of it they probably still don't trust men and they probably don't trust me either…"But i won't blame them because of it." He said and finished his sentence while he then looked at all four mages, who were now all surprised at first but then the four women just smiled warmly at him.
Then suddenly Mira was slowly walking towards him and gently put a hand on his shoulder, which made him then look at her with a surprised reaction while she still smiled warmly at him."Yes, it's true some members here don't like to see a man inside the Mermaid Heel building… She paused for a moment and looked down before she then looked at Rogue again, who still was listening closely to what she will tell him right now.
"But our master still trusts most men, and most of us here still trust most men as well and they can visit us even though some members don't really like it but they still accept our master's decision." She said and kept looking at him, while she now had a loving smile and a blush on her face which made him then also blush again. Then the other three were now also slowly walking towards him, and then they stood in front of him as well. "What happened on this night was really horrible… and these few men were really disgusting heartless assholes for what they tried doing to us and our guild, but even though some members here don't trust men and won't like to see you here most of our fellow guild members still will." Erza said with a loving smile and a blush on her face as well.
"We're really happy to have you here as a male visitor and you have something that these few men will never have, which is having a good heart and having respect for women and this guild here." Kagura said with a loving smile and a blush on her face as well. "We're so glad that you are not like them, and if we four girls trust you then they will too. "And besides… Lucy paused for a moment while she kept looking at him and he just kept looking at her with a curious look on his face and listened closely to what she will tell him now. Please don't think it was not a good idea because to us it was, and we are so glad that you said yes to our offer and came with us to our guild here together." Lucy said and finished her sentence with a loving smile and a blush on her face as well.
Rogue looked at all four women with a surprised expression, and he was speechless for a moment but then he had a warm smile on his face. "Alright guys, if you say it was a good idea that i came to this guild with you together after you invited me here as a male guest then i won't regret this decision anymore. He said and kept looking at the four female wizards with a warm smile, to which they only reacted with a warm smile on their faces as well and happily closed their eyes while they tilted their heads a little bit to the side.
"But i hope you can understand that i'm still a little bit nervous, because i'm normally not someone who talks with that many people and i think today i'm gonna talk to most of the members here because they probably have a lot of questions." He said and kept looking at the four female mages, who just simply nodded with an understanding expression and then they looked at him with soft eyes and a warm smile on their faces. "We understand that Rogue, but don't worry we will be by your side the whole time." Lucy said with another warm smile to which Kagura reacted with a nod. "Mm, exactly and we make sure that they don't overwhelm you with their questions." Kagura said with another warm smile on her face and the three other women also nodded their heads. He looked at the four mages with a grateful smile and nodded his head while he also blushed again.
Then suddenly, Erza and Mira were gently taking his arms and holding it tightly while the two looked at him with a cute smile on their faces. "Do you want to meet the other members of the guild now?" Mira asked him in a sweet tone and waited patiently for a response from the black haired dragon slayer, who now looked at her with a small smile on his face."I'm ready, Mira." He said while he kept looking at the white haired beauty who then happily closed her eyes and nodded. "Alright, then let's go." She said happily and then with happy smiles on their faces, and with the black haired dragon slayer as their male visitor they were now walking towards the other female members.
The other members in the lobby were still talking with each other, but none of them noticed that the four Mermaid Heel mages returned to the guild and that they brought a male visitor with them inside the building. But that should quickly change, when suddenly Erza brought attention to herself and her group and greeted the other members. "Hello everyone, glad to see you again." Erza said with a happy smile which made everyone look at them and smiled, while they were happy to see their fellow guild members again and all of them wanted to greet them but then they froze when they saw their male visitor.
At first there was nothing but silence in the lobby, and everyone still looked at the male guest with surprised expressions and they didn't know what to say. Now, Rogue got nervous again and he also felt uncomfortable to get all those stares from all the female members while four of them then had a blush on their faces now."He's so handsome." One of them thought, which was a beautiful young woman with long straight silky black hair and was wearing it open while it fell down to her under back and she wore a white headband. That woman is Ultear Milkovich. "He looks so cute and i especially love his hair." Another member thought, which was a beautiful young woman with long thick wavy pink hair which was tied into a ponytail. She couldn't stop staring at him while she was in awe with the dragon slayer. That woman is Meredy. "I would have never expected to see a male visitor in the guild, but i'm so happy he's here right now." Another one thought, which was a beautiful young woman with thick wavy mid-back length brown hair. That woman is Cana Alberona. "I wonder if he has a girlfriend." Another one thought, which was a beautiful young woman with shoulder length thick wavy blue hair. That woman is Juvia Lockser.
All four of them still looked at the handsome black haired dragon slayer while they had a blush on their faces. The other members had no feelings for him, but they also looked at him and still liked to see a male visitor in the guild who was legally inside the building for the first time and they wanted to talk with him and ask him some questions. He now noticed how these four Mermaid Heel mages looked at him with blushing red cheeks, and then he looked down with a nervous expression after he also had a blush on his face when he looked at them for a moment.
Ultear, Meredy, Cana, and Juvia, noticed this and were happy that he noticed they fell in love with him and found his nervous expression so cute. "Aww He's even cuter when he is nervous."All four of them thought in unison, and kept looking happily at him while they held their hands in front of them and still adored him with blushing red cheeks. Lucy, Erza, Kagura, and Mira, also noticed how four of their fellow guild members fell in love with him as well, and then they looked at Rogue's nervous expression and saw how he had a blush on his face. Which made them then giggle, while they put a hand on their mouths to stifle their laughter but it was hard for them to do that because they found this whole situation so funny.
Then suddenly Erza began to speak again. "Well here he is everyone, say hello to our male visitor Rogue Cheney." Erza introduced him with a warm smile on her face and kept looking at him with a blush on her face, while she introduced the black haired dragon slayer to the other members of Mermaid Heel. All the other members were slowly walking towards the five mages, and looked at him for a moment when they heard Erza telling them his name and were thinking while they were speechless. But then suddenly all of them made a very loud noise of surprise which startled him once again.
"Geez that's the second time already, and now also other Mermaid Heel members do this to me unexpectedly." He thought and was startled for a moment, but then he looked at all of them with a pissed off look and a tick mark on his head. "GEEZ NOW YOU GUYS STARTLED ME TOO JUST LIKE THOSE FOUR WOMEN DID, AND LET ME GUESS NOW YOU ALL JUST REALIZED WHO I AM RIGHT!?" He shouted angrily at them while he was still pissed off about their sudden loud noises and that they startled him too. Lucy Erza Kagura and Mira only laughed heartily at his reaction and held their guts, while everyone else in the guild just looked at him with a nervous laugh and sweat dropped.
Then suddenly Ultear began to speak."Yeah, we also just realized now that you're Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth." She said while she now laughed sheepishly and sweat dropped which made him respond with a facepalm, while the other four members still laughed heartily at this which made him then also look at the four women with a pissed off expression and a tick mark on his head. "WILL YOU GUYS FINALLY STOP LAUGHING ABOUT THIS!?" He shouted angrily at the four Mermaid Heel Mages, but they continued laughing and just couldn't stop which made him then sigh in defeat and looked down while he reacted with another facepalm. But then the four Mermaid Heel mages slowly calmed down and stopped laughing, while they wiped their happy tears and they looked at him with a warm smile on their faces.
"We're so sorry about this." All the other members said in unison and bowed their heads apologetically. His eye was twitching and he was annoyed for a moment, but then he sighed and had a small smile on his face and looked at all of them while he was shaking his head."It's fine, i have the feel this will happen even more often in the future but i think maybe one day i will get used to it." He said in a calm tone, and then also started to laugh nervously while he sweatdropped and was scratching the back of his head.
They all giggled at his reaction and found it adorable. Then after this funny but also embarrassing moment, the other members of Mermaid Heel then introduced themselves to him while they all were smiling. But the four other female mages who just fell in love with him today, were only looking at him with a dreamy smile while they introduced themselves to the handsome dragon slayer. Which made him blush again not only because of these dreamy smiles they gave him, but also because internally he thought these four women were just as beautiful as the four other female mages he met earlier in Crocus today.
"Well then Rogue, i think it's time we ask you some questions about you and your guild if you don't mind." Meredy said in a calm tone and looked at him with a warm smile and a blush on her face, while she then also winked at him. Which made him now blush even redder but then he was shaking his head to clear his mind, and he had a serious expression while he started to respond to the pink haired female mage and looked at her.
"Well i don't mind it, but please don't try to overwhelm me because i'm normally someone who mainly prefers to be alone… and who also isn't the best at talking with other people, except for my master Sting and his Girlfriend Sarah but i will try to answer your questions if i'm comfortable to answer them of course." He said in a calm tone while he then looked at all of them, who only nodded their heads understandingly and they looked at him with a warm smile on their faces.
"Of course we will try not to overwhelm you, and we can understand if you don't feel comfortable with a question and not wanting to answer it." Cana said and looked at him with a warm smile, while she reassured him that no one of them will have a problem with this if he doesn't want to answer a question. He nodded at this kind response from the brown haired beauty with a grateful smile, which made her blush again and then she turned her head away from him while she played with a thick strand of her mid-back length hair and smiled. "I was already happy to see him here, but now I'm even happier that a cute and kind guy like him is our visitor today." She thought and then happily closed her eyes with a cute smile and a blush on her face while she still played with her hair.
"Um… Rogue?" Juvia said with a nervous expression, while she was still blushing and just couldn't stop looking at his handsome face and his hair which she thought was really cute and she also thought that it suited him so well. This made him and everyone else then look at the water mage with a curious look on their faces. "Yes, Juvia?" He said politely and patiently waited for a response from her while he was wondering what she's gonna ask him now. "W-Well i was wondering… what exactly brought you into Crocus today? i-if you don't mind that i ask you this question." She said while she still was nervous and now fiddled with her fingers and looked down with a blush and a shy smile on her face.
He looked at her surprised at first, but then he had another small smile on his face and was shaking his head."Don't worry Juvia, i don't mind it and I'll gladly answer your question." He said while he still smiled at her and assured her that he feels comfortable with her question, which made her now blush even redder and then looked at him with a happy smile and nodded her head. Everyone else in the guild was now looking at him with curious expressions, and they all patiently waited for a response from him.
"I would also like to hear what brought him here in Crocus today." Another woman said which was a beautiful older woman with very long voluminous thick red hair, which was braided into four very long voluminous thick braids and she was wearing a revealing black kimono. She was slowly walking towards the big group, which made everyone then turn around and they made a noise of surprise when they saw their master Irene Scarlet. Rogue also made a noise of surprise and kept looking at the red haired women, who just smiled warmly at him while she now stood in front of her mages and the male visitor.
So that was chapter 3, and now here is Irene with her First appearance in this fanfic. And yes, i thought why not also include Ultear, Meredy, Cana, and Juvia? So here they are and of course, there will also be still other female characters who will play a part in this story here. I'll see when i write and upload chapter 4, but until then have a great day guys and see you soon with a new chapter. :)
