Emma regreted a lot of things. She regretted all the times were she pushed others away because her walls were too high. She regretted denying Hook a romance because she hadn't been mentally in the right place. But most of all, she regretted letting Henry leave without coming with him.

She knew Henry could take care of himself. She also knew Regina is probably taking great care of him. She simply missed him. Emma wanted to hear his voice, hear his laugh, and see his smile. She just wanted to know how he is doing. Hell, she didn't even know if he had a family of his own or not.

Storybrooke is almost exactly the same as when Henry left. Same threats of evil, same people, and the same damm conflicts. The same hole in her heart she had while thinking about Henry's possible whereabouts.

Emma hadn't expected that today would be different from the norm.

But it has.

When Emma is at her lowest; serval book pages appear in her closet. Henry's book pages to be exact. But upon further inspection, Emma realized it wasn't Henry's book pages at all. They were different fairytales with different stories.

Out of curiosity, Emma's eyes skimmed the pages. When she saw the final page though; her heart dropped. As her hands shook; Emma read…

"A new curse, a hero proof one, is happening in Hyperion Heights, Seattle."

Her mind raced. No. This can't be happening. Not anther curse.

Emma carefully picked up the pages, texted her parents so she could inform them where she was going, and sat in the yellow bug.

Emma had felt directionless these last couple of years. However, her current decision had never been clearer:

She was going to help her son. Even though he probably had zero recollection of her and this curse is supposedly "hero proof." She is still going to help.

No matter what it takes.
