Chapter 1: Bonding Time
It been one week since the loggers was defeated. Blu and his brother Banjo come up with a plan to save the Amazon from the loggers, everyone was thankful for their good deeds, and even two domesticated birds got wild skills. Banjo and Peter are hanging out at the Brazil nut tree.
"This is the place where we first met." Peter said.
"Who sir?" Banjo asked his father-in-law.
"My wife." Peter answered.
"When I was a teenager, me and my wife Susan met each other at the same place where we are at right now. Susan was the most beautiful girl to be with. She is the first girlfriend I ever had. My parents approved of her." Peter said.
"Wow, that is so a good story. How did Susan's parents approve of you?" Banjo asked Peter.
"My parents approved of me. They think I will be a good mate to Susan." Peter said.
Banjo is happy that he is having good terms with his father-in-law but he is a little sad that his wife and his children are not with him.
"I know we will be together forever. I proposed to her and she accepted my proposal. We told our parents and they were happy for us. We got married and had our first child which was Grace." Peter said.
"You love your wife. Your daughter returned and you have four beautiful grandchildren." Banjo said.
"And I got you." Peter hug Banjo and laughed.
"You got me." Banjo said.
"Banjo, I am so lucky to have a son-in-law like you." Peter said.
"I am so lucky to have a father-in-law like you." Banjo said.
"Thanks for saving my daughter when she fell off the plane. She told me everything about you." Peter said.
"Woman deserve nice things." Banjo said.
"Banjo, I was going to put my daughter with Garth at first but you are a good husband to my daughter." Peter said.
"I was always a good husband to Grace. Minnesota is far away from Rio and I still miss my home Minnesota. When I came to Rio, I leave Minnesota and people who were nice to me behind." Banjo said.
"You really love my daughter." Peter smile.
"With all my heart." Banjo said.
"Good bird." Peter pat Banjo on the back.
"Your daughter means everything to me." Banjo said.
"I thought she was dead when the loggers came." Peter said.
"I brought her back home to you." Banjo said.
"You are a good guy Banjo. Glad to have my daughter back." Peter said.
"Anything for my wife, I will do it." Banjo said.
"Banjo, I am glad you married my daughter." Peter said.
"Of course, I did everything for her and my children." Banjo said.
"Your family are waiting for you. You should go back to them. I will stay here for a while." Peter said.
"Sure." Banjo said.
Banjo fly and is on his way to his hollow.
