In the city, Spider-Girl swung from building to building while Boscha hung on to her back.
"You really need to get a vehicle." Spider-Girl said.
"Shut up. This is faster." Boscha retorted.
"And you need to lose some weight!" Spider-Girl retorted.
'Luz, focus. People's live are at stake.' Amity said to her.
'I know honey but she's making this difficult!' Luz thought as she swung them to the crime scene, a broken into museum. 'Alright, time to do what we do.'
They landed in an alley before the place that was broken into.
"Alright, let's head inside." Boscha said, adjusting her mask and her sword on her hip.
"Yeah, no. We're going around the back instead of the front." Spider Girl said as shot a web at an outside vent, ripping it off, and climbed into it.
"No need to help, I got it." Boscha said, jumping and grabbing the vent edge before pulling herself up. "And I'll try not to stare at your fat ass as we crawl."
"And I'll try not to fart in your face but spoiler, vents make me gassy." Spider Girl joked.
A hand came from the suit and smacked Luz on the head.
'That's enough.' Amity said firmly.
'Hey, she started it.' Luz thought.
'And I'm ending it. We have to focus or someone could get hurt.' Amity said.
'Fine.' Luz thought with a pout.
After a few minites of crawling, they managed to find an inside vent cover and moved it over to crawl out.
Standing crouching on some ducts inside of the building, the two of them could see what looked like several mini versions of Venom skulking around.
'Holy shit, he's made an army.' Luz thought in shock. 'Venom must've split himself into pieces like a virus and infected everyone here.'
'They don't look to be as strong as him so maybe of we can get closer, we can take them out one by one without any of them noticing.' Amity said.
'Agreed.' Luz thought.
Boscha meanwhile, glared at the Mini Venom, as she used Soul Perception on them.
'Wait... the soul inside of them is human.' Boscha thought, focusing on one. 'Something's wrong, like... the soul is stuck in some kind of paralyzed state.'
"Alright, time to take down some minions." Spider Girl whispered.
"Wait stop!" Boscha whispered, grabbing her arm. "Something's not right with their souls."
"What are you talking about?" Spider-Girl asked.
"I'm looking at their souls with my Soul Perception and they all seem…out of it. Like they're not in full control, sleep walking even." Boscha whispered, checking twice to see this was true.
"Sleep walking? So they ARE being controlled." Spider Girl whispered, rubbing her chin. "That's going to make of harder to take then down."
'Luz... you know we don't hurt civilians.' Amity said.
'I know, but that doesn't mean we can't quietly subdue them.' Luz thought.
'Unless they have a hive mind with Venom.' Amity added.
'Why would you suggest that?! Now we can't subdue them!' Luz thought.
'We still can, we just have to think of every possibility.' Amity said.
Staring at Spider-Girl as she was having her literal internal discussion, Boscha had an idea of how to contribute.
"Mmm, maybe I could help?" Boscha whispered out loud.
"Huh? You can? How?" Spider Girl whispered to her.
"Maybe I could use my soul wavelength to subdue them and force Venom out." Boscha suggested.
"And it won't hurt them?" Spider Girl asked.
"No tunless he's done something that I'm not aware of." Boscha said.
"So it's still a gamble." Spider Girl whispered with a sigh. "I don't like it but it's our best shot. Let's find one that's alone and try it."
Boshca nodded as they moved above the vents to an empty part of the museum.
'Venom, you won't escape us! I swear it!' Boscha thought, her thirst for revenge still great. 'No matter what, I will kill you for what you did.'
"Alright, we can get statrted here undetected." Spider-Girl said as they reached an empty hallway.
Boscha nodded as they both jumped down and landed silently on the floor. A random venomized grunt/victim was right ahead of them with their back facing the duo.
Spider-Girl nodded her head towards the victim.
Boscha nodded back as she quickly approached the victim, preparing her hand for a Soul Wavelength attack.
'Let's see if my theory is right and I can force that gunk out of them without alerting the others.' She thought.
Once she was close enough, Boscha quickly hooked her arm around the neck and slammed her palm into their back.
"Wavelength Strike." Boscha whispered as a burst of energy rush into the venom minion.
The symbiote hissed softly im pain as it seemed to dissolve into nothing like it was dipped in acid.
'These must not be like the main body. Like disposable pawns.' Boscha thought as she caught the unconscious victim before checking their pulse.
"They're fine but they'll need a hospital." Boscha said.
"We can take them later. First we need to free everyone else and find out why Venom is here." Spider-Girl whispered as she checked on the person too.
'Seems to be okay, still breathing, no noticeable injuries.' Amity said, sensing the person's vitals.
'So we can put them somewhere safe and come back for them. Best to keep them out of danger.' Luz thought.
'Agreed. There should be a storage room around the corner. I've been to this museum before.' Amity said.
"Let's move her to a storage closet before dealing with the rest." Spider-Girl said, picking the victim up.
"You do that. I'll try to take out some more." Boscha said back.
Before Spider-Girl coudl reply, Boscha went off and moved against the wall. Looking around the corner and seeing two more venom minions closeby.
'Alright, hopefully these two won't scream.' Boscha thought, charging her whole body with her soul wavelength. 'I got one shot to get them both at once.'
As quickly and quietly as possibly, Boscha tip toed to the duo and grabbed both in arm bars! Sending her soul wavelength into them, the symbiote burned off the people and Boscha dragged them around a corner before setting them against the wall.
'That's three cured.' Boscha thought with s determined glare. 'Just you wait, Venom. I'll burn that sludge off you and slice you to pieces.'
If have soul wavelength could cleanse victims/control minions, it could possibly work on Venom himself if her soul wavelength was strong enough.
As Boscha continued her way through the museum and curing/savinc people, Spider-Girl was placing the first victim in a broom closet.
"There. Now that's she's safe, we can search for Venom." Spider-Girl said.
'Yeah, lets hope he's still here.' Amity said.
Spider Girl left the closet and jumped up to the ceiling, crawling around in search of Venom AND Boscha since she stupidly went off on her own.
But paused when she heard what sounded like an animal growling.
'Amity, is something behind us?' Luz thought.
'No, but it's likely that we'll find Venom if we follow the sound.' Amity said.
'If that's true, then maybe we should check it out.' Luz thought.
'And leave Boscha to deal with the minions?' Amity asked.
'You got a better idea?' Luz thought.
'...No, not really.' Amity admitted.
'Then let's go. Boscha is a meister, she can handle herself.' Luz thought as she crawled on the celling towards Venom's growls.
The closer they got, the more they heard Venom's growl and see strange black goo/webbing in the vents.
Black goo that made Spider-Girl be careful on where she placed her hand or foot, she didn't want to get any of it on her or Amity.
"This is disgusting. I hate gooey stuff." Luz whispered.
'... I take offense to that, you know.' Amity said
"Oh no, not you! You're slimy, there's a difference." Luz quickly said.
'Explain.' Amity stated.
Before Luz could, a large black hand burst through the vent and grabbed Spider-Girl by the neck.
"Oh shi-" She let out as she was yanked out of the vent!
She was slammed into the ground as Venom chuckled, looming over her with a fang filled grin.
"We have found a fly in our web!" Venom said with a growl.
"Arachnid. I am an arachnid." Spider-Girl groaned in pain.
"You're dead, that's what you are." Venom said as je picked up Spider-Girl.
"Can't we talk about this first? We are technically related since most spiders are venomous." Spider-Girl said but Venom just growled and starts squeezing her throat, chocking her. "I-I guess not!"
Spider-Girl quickly fired a webbing at his eyes and kicked Venom in the chin!
"ROOOOOAH!" Venom roared as he dropped Spider-Girl, grabbing his face.
Spider-Girl kept shooting webs at Venom, trying to cocoon him and stop him from moving.
'Let's wrap this fucker up!' Luz thought as Amity analyzed Venom.
'He almost looks like me but different, no wonder Boscha thought we were working together.' Amity said.
"ROOOOAH!" Venom roared as he broke out of the webs with a giant flex. "Is that all you've got?!"
"Nope but I'm full of surprises!" Spider-Girl said with a grin as long, mauve colored spider legs came out of the back of her.
"Really? Is that all?" Venom asked, unimpressed.
"Nope!" Spider-Girl sjouted as she ran at him! "Bring it on, you ugly son of a bitch!"
She stabbed at Venom as he dodged all the legs, making Spider-Girl go for a punch, but he grabbed her hand and threw her to the ground.
"Weak!" Venom commented before grabbing her by the arms and throwing Spider-Girl to the other side of the room.
"Ugh! Okay, brute force is a no go. Let's try speed." Spider-Girl said to herself.
'Good thinking!' Amity said.
Spider-Girl shot herself up to the ceiling, fireding dozens of web balls at Venom.
"Ugh!" He blocked with his arm before growing black tendrils from his back and sending them at her!
"Hey!" Spider-Girl shouted as she used hef spider legs to block/delfect them as she kept firing web balls! "That's my move, you copycat! You better have a good lawyer!"
'Not the time and this doesn't seem to be working.' Amity said.
'Then what do you suggest, baby?' Luz thought as she jumped to dodge another tendril from Venom!
'Swords!' Amity said as she retracted the spider legs and turned Luz's hands into swords. 'Slice and dice him!'
'Worth a shot.' Luz thought.
Slicing the tendrils from Venom, Spider-Girl moved closer and closer to him.
"RAAAAAH!" Venom roared as he pulled the tendrils back and swung his fists, making Spider-Girl dodge his fists.
"HA!" She let out as she slashed him across the chest, stomach, and right leg!
Venom stumbled back and took a knee in pain as Spider-Girl jumped with both swords held back!
Sadly, but in the air and too focused on attack, it opened her up for l Venom to grab her entire waist and pulled her up before slamming her through the closest wall!
'... Ow.' Luz thought, doing her best to not scream in agony.
"Is this all that New York's web swinging heroine can do?" Venom mocked, using two tendrils to hold her arms down. "Is there nothing you can do to give me a challenge?!"
"Mock me all you want, I still have plenty of tricks up my sleeve." Spider-Luz said, retracting the swords.
'... We do?' Amity asked.
'Yes, we do. I just never told you about them.' Luz thought, lying. 'Just make spikes when I say.'
Acting fast, Spider-Luz fired at Venom's eyes again, making him dodge and lose focus forca moment.
'NOW!' Spider-Girl thouht as spikes appear on her knuckles and held them out.
"Eat spider stingers!" She shouted, firing and regrowing multiple spikes from her knuckles.
But Venom's body didn't move as it's gooey surface caught them with ease.
"Is that all?" Venom asked before feeling the stingers in his his chest grow, stabbing into his main body! "AAAAH!"
"Nope!" Spider-Girl said before jumping and kicking Venom to the other soxe of the right!
Through the other wall and right into the main foyer of the museum! Spider-Girl rushed through the hole with her spiked fists ready.
"ROOOOOOOAH!" Venom screamed, calling his hive controlled servants to aid him.
At least those that were left as Boscha used her soul wavelength to free another person.
'A roar?!' She thought in surprise as Venom's remaining minions rushed to him.
"Hehehehehe." Venom chuckled as his minions surrounded him like a shield.
'Shit... can we do something like that?' Luz thought.
'NO!' Amity said.
"Sorry little hero but it seems like you're outnumbered." He said smugly.
"But she's not alone, shit heel!" Boscha shouted, rushing into the foyer.
"You." Venom growled as he turned to Boscha. "So you came back for more."
"Damn right you ugly son of a bitch." Boscha said, drawing her sword. "I'm here to pay you back for what you did to my friends!"
Boscha charged the sword with her soul wavelength and rushed towards the monster but several minions got in her way!
"MOVE!" Boscha shouted as she slammed her palm into the ground, spreading her soul force like a wave to burn the symbiote off some of them. "Get out of my way!"
More still rushed at her, making Boscha dodge an attack from another and punching them with her sword guard before kicking more away!
"So you want to die like your friend, too?!" Venom said, charging at Boscha while she's overwhelmed.
'Luz, we need to stop this before Boscha gets killed!' Amity said to Luz.
'... Do we though?' Luz thought as she webbed one minion and slammed them into a wall.
'…Okay, how about this? If you let our new friend die, you sleep on the floor until NEXT YEAR!' Amity shouted in Luz's mind.
'Ugh, fine!' Luz thought since she hated sleeping without cuddling with her girlfriend.
Spider-Girl made a web sling shot and fired herself at the two of them, right as Boscha and Venom were about to strike each other.
Once she slammed into Venom, Luz knew how a fly hits the windshield of a semi truck feels like as she coukd tell her shoulder was broken now.
But it distracted Venom enough for a shocked Boscha, who quickly recovered, to stab him in the throat! Which DID hurt Vemom!
"GUH!" Venom let out before knocking them both back, grabbing the sword in his throat. "You miserable wretches!"
He pulled the sword out and threw it away, dropping to a knee as he coughed up some blood. Sensing his moment of weakness, the remaining mind controlled minions swarmed Venom to act as a protective wall.
Boscha didn't care though. Her goal was so close, literally in front of her, and she refused to let it go now!
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!" She screamed, widely discharging her soul wavelength all around her body.
Some of the minions were hit and freed while Spider-Girl ducked to dodge a random bolt of soul energy!
'She's not even aiming where her energy os goong! Is she turning herself into a bomb?! Because that's what it looks like!' Luz thought as Amity was doing her best help with the broken shoulder.
'I don't know, but I think we should get out of the blast radius.' Amity said.
Acting fast, Spider-Girl used a web line to pull herself up to the ceiling and climbed into an air vent. Right as Boscha focused her soul energy around herself and roared as she let it out, exploding like an EMP bomb and hitting almost every venomized minion in the museum! Including Venom himself!
"AAAAAAAH!" The minions screamed as the symbiote sludge controlling them burn away.
"AAAAAAH!" Venom himself screamed as he felt like he was unraveling!
Slightly out of breath, Boscha reclaimed her sword and marched towards Venom as she dragged it against the floor.
"Now, I am going to do what you did to my friends." Boscha said, channeling her remaining soul energy into her sword.
'No…our body isn't listening to us! Her soul wavelength disturbed our connection!' Venom thought, struggling to keep the host and the symbiote from separating.
Thankfully for Venom, as Boscha was about to attack, one remaining minion that luckily avoided the "Soul Wavelenth Bomb" tackled her away from their master!
"Guh!" Boscha let out as she hit the floor, holding the minion with her blade!
Recovering from his stabbed throat and the "Soul Wavelength Bomb", Venom rose up and went to attack Boscha!
"Time to d-" Venom was droppedkicked in the face by Spider-Girl, knocking him to the floor!
"You're not going anywhere, criminal!" She shouted, quickly webbing his arms down.
Venom growled as his paiteencewas at its limit!
"GET OFF ME, YOU WORTHLESS EXCUSE FOR A HERO!" Venom shouted at Spider-Girl.
Venom ripped the webs from his arms and grabbed Spider-Girl by the neck before slamming her into the floor!
"UGH!" Spider-Girl let out as blood splattered in her mask.
'LUZ!' Amity said before becoming angry at Venom! 'GET OFF HER!'
Acting fast, Amity made herself spiky and forced Venom's hand off her girlfriend!
"GUH!" Venom let out as he bleed again and a fit pain fueled rage caused by ALL of these woman, he kicked Spider-Girl into the air and grabbed her by the head before slamming her back into the floor with twice as much force!
Amity couldn't cushion all of the impact and that caused Luz to have multiple broken bones, bruised organs, and a serious concussion as Venom kept stomping her in to the ground! Hearing her screams brought Venom such joy as he continued to beat her down.
Eventually, leading to Spider-Girl to stop moving.
"Hehehehehehe." Venom let out with a grin, thinking Spider Girl was dead before groaning in pain.
He was still feeling the effects of Boscha's attack and his union was still coming undone, he needed to escape NOW so he coukd recover!
'At least that's one nuisance dead!' Venom thought before running out of the museum!
L-L-Luz? LUZ!?' Amity yelled, but it was no use, Luz wasn't waking up. 'Say or thinkf something, please!'
"No!" Boscha shouted as she blasted/freed the venomized minion away! "He's getting-"
"Luz! Luz, wake up!" Amity said as she changed back to human, cradling an injured Luz in her arms!
Boscha, seeing the condition Luz was in and having a bit of medical knowledge, let her revenge got for a moment and went over to check Luz's injuries. As well as see if she was still alive by checking her pulse.
"She's alive... but it looks like she's out cold. Possibly even a coma." Boscha said.
"A WHAT?!" Amity shouted in shock.
"Calm down, getting angry won't help." Boscha said, sheathing her weapon. "We need to get her somewhere that we can get a better look at her injuries."
"We're taking her home." Amity said before looking at Boscha. "And since I am holding YOU accountable for this, you will help me."
"Wait, why-" Boscha couldn't say anything else as Amity tackled her and transformed into the spider suit, forcing Boscha to wear her.
Strugglign a bit and standing up, Boscha looked ovef herself to see she was now wearing Amity/the Spider-Girl suit!
"What the hell, you crazy bitch?!" Boscha yelled.
'Does she not know how stupid and risky this is if we our soul wavelengths aren't compatible!?' Boscha thought.
'I don't fucking care! Get moving before my girlfriend gets worse!' Amity shouted, now able to hear Boscha's thoughts.
Seeing that she had no other choice, Boscha picked Luz up gently and rushed out of the back of the museum.
She had to hurry before the people she freed came to or the police rushed in after Venom retreated.
Hopefully Luz's mothers don't kill Boscha for Luz's condition when they got back to the owl apartments.
