-The Enchanter of Fairy Tail-

Chapter 81: Enchantments, Celebrations And Farewells

Year: X760. 24 years till Canon begins.

Cade POV:

Is it embarrassing to admit that me, an S-Class wizard is struggling to create an original spell? But how did I get here again…?

It had been a few months since the whole event with Vicini and the kidnapping of everyone at the party. It was only around two weeks until my 18th birthday, which I was excited for.

Since the kidnapping, I had been quite busy with a few things.

The first was that I needed to make some good progress on my Enchantment Magic. With my seal unlocked, I felt like new possibilities awaited me, so I focused hard to improve my magic. During these months of hard work, a few important developments had been made.

The first was a somewhat minor, but still interesting development, nonetheless. It was that the aura of my magic had actually changed colour after breaking through my seal. Previously it was a standard white colour, but now it was a silvery, light blue colour.

This carried over to all my Enchantment attacks, them now changing from their previous colour to their new silvery, light blue colour – I actually preferred this instead of the previous colours that they had. My Stone attacks still remained as a dull grey colour though.

The next development was that I had been making progress regarding my new ability to enchant nearly anything that I wanted – well, anything that wasn't alive and breathing like a human. Months of practice had made it so that I could change and alter the words on a piece of paper with little difficulty. I had all sorts of enjoyment doing this to my mother or Lilly if I ever caught them reading books. Though I always panicked when they got furious at me and ordered me to change it back.

I had decided to make a rather important decision - One that was more serious than simply changing the pages on a book.

I had decided, for the time being, to not pursue the option of using my Enchantment Magic to shape the weather or the geography of the would spring at this opportunity when given the chance… but I knew that going down this path could be near catastrophic if I wasn't careful.

While I had a neutral or possibly even good reputation with the Magic Council, I was aware that would all come crashing down on me after I start moving mountains or accidentally causing a heatstroke for a week. Despite the fact that the Magic Council had lessened their interests in me, I still knew that they were watching me. I was never told this, but I heavily suspected them. Yajima had finished his visits here quite a long time ago, but I knew that I was still on the Council's radar.

Perhaps in the future I'd return to the possibility of messing with the weather, but certainly not for the next few years of my life.

Anyways, here I was outside on the hills across from my home trying to learn and create a new spell. Yet I was struggling. A lot. This felt very strange to me. Admittedly, it has been a while since I've crafted a new spell of my own, but this was ridiculous!

Even other wizards have had way less trouble learning their own original spells. So why was I struggling so much?

A few reasons crossed my mind, many of them relating to the kidnapping incident a few years ago. The first thing that came to mind was that I was far too focused on ranged based attacks.

When Leo had to step in to fight Maximilian, the thought of me not being able to help had buzzed all throughout my mind, jeering me in a sense. I had realised at that moment that I really had been focusing too hard on fighting as a ranged based fighter. Nothing was wrong with that of course, but in cases like what I experienced back then, it could be quite devastating at times.

The other thing was that I had previously broken through my seal, so I was eager at the idea of trying to learn an enchantment move. Though this proved to be hard due to me still getting used to the change in magic power.

So I focused on trying to maybe build up a close range-based attack. Of course, I was struggling with ideas of what it should be. Right now, I had exhausted a bit of my magic trying to fashion a spell. "Well, what do you guys think?" I spoke as I turned my head to the right.

"Huh? Us?" Wondered Macao as he looked up from where he was sitting.

"What do you mean?" Questioned Wakaba. He was playing cards with Macao.

"You know, what ideas you guys have?" I said with disappointment, as I rubbed my hand across my face. "I literally brought you two up here so you could help me with this!"

"Well, I don't know… maybe a fist-based attack?!" Macao suggested as he made gestures with his fists.

"Hmm… what about you Wakaba?" I wondered to the smoke mage.

Wakaba had his chin held in his hand. "How about… an attack that focuses on you using Enchantment Magic to blast your opponent away…?" He suggested thinking that was a good idea.

"Those are… interesting ideas." I muttered.

'Argh… I was hoping for something a bit more unique. I remember Master Makarov telling me that the mind of a child is supposed to be the most intellectually wide with imagination when compared to adults.' I thought with a sigh.

'There must be something that I can do that would be unique to me… Something that nearly no other wizard, your average fighter couldn't do…' I thought as I paced myself a little, walking back and forth.

'I have Enchantment Magic… Enchantment Magic…'

'…'

'… !'

Then an idea suddenly hit me like a lightning bolt. It was a crazy one, yet if I pulled it off, I feel it would be near perfect for me.

'Could it work…?! Would I be able to perform such an act?!' I thought suddenly as I quickened my pace. 'I've worked hard and practiced hard, but it would be the first time I've done something like this…'

My mind was racing now as I put a hand to my chin and thought of the possibilities that could emerge from this. Macao and Wakaba now looked interested to what I was thinking.

"Hey Cade? What you thinking about?" Macao asked.

"Quiet!" I cut him off with a gentle hush. I didn't want to get distracted now, if I forgot what this idea of mine was I'd never remember it.

Yes… the more I was thinking about it, the more it felt right for me. 'Alright, this will be great if I can pull it off!'

"Hey, you two! Stay here! I'll be right back!" I insisted as I quickly ran into away from them and back into my home – Macao and Wakaba looking confused as to what I was up to.

Upon entering my house, I ran into the library and headed down the stairs into the old basement that was nearly never used except when we needed money from the treasury. I was looking for one thing in particular that I knew was just gathering dust down here. It was something that only me, my mother, Pierce, Charles and maybe Lilly knew about.

Upon rummaging through some old wooden crates in a corner, I think I finally found it. I knew that because I jagged my finger on something sharp that caused it to bleed just a little.

I rummaged carefully and felt it. This was it. 'Ah ha!'

I grabbed my hands around it and pulled out a rather old wooden spear. The shaft was of good length; made of dark birch I think, and had a silver pointed blade that was still quite sharp. The foot of the spear was smooth and had a nice curve.

This spear was first crafted quite far up in my family tree. I had no idea when exactly it originated from, but I knew that my father's ancestors were the one to first wield it. However, someone from the other side of the family decided that it was too aggressive to display in a mansion. Not wanting it destroyed, it was placed down here, gathering dust.

But I think it came time for it to see daylight once again. I had an idea of what to do with this spear.

Grinning, I took the spear and exited the basement and later left my home. Upon returning to Wakaba and Macao, they looked rather baffled by the weapon I was holding.

"Uh Cade… What is that spear for?" Wakaba questioned. "Don't know if you've noticed, but it's er, a bit old."

I smirked as I held up the spear. "I'm gonna enchant this thing." I announced as I gave the spear a spin.

"Like with your swords that have the different kinds of magic?" Macao spoke up.

"No. I plan on putting my own enchantments on this thing." I clarified as I looked down at the spear. "This'll be a new experience of sorts for me."

"Whoa, you've never done this before?" Macao wondered with interest. I had definitely gotten the attention of him and Wakaba now.

"Yeah. Nothing like this. But I've been practicing over a few months now. I'm eager to see if I get the enchantments that I'm looking for." I said as I summoned a smooth pillar of stone ahead of me.

"You guys may want to stay back for this." I suggested as I turned to the two boys. They both nodded and took a few steps backwards. I walked forwards to the stone pillar and placed the spear on it.

Now that the spear was in daylight, and not a dimly lit basement, I could see that it was a bit battered, with some small bits of wood having naturally pealed off over time.

I hummed under my breath. 'Looks like I'll need to try and fix the durability of this thing as well. On top of the other things I want to try and put on it, that may be difficult.'

'Still, I won't make any progress like this if I keep waiting around aimlessly thinking instead of trying.' I thought as I held my hand to the spear and focused my Enchantment Magic to shape and enchant the spear. 'Here we go.'

A silvery, bluish glow covered the spear as I began to work my magic on it. I could feel my magic seeping into it. The spear was taking the magic in, and letting it shape and empower it.

This was not a draining process for me, but it was still difficult. Trying to get the enchantments that I wanted on it to be the way that I wanted.

I found myself struggling as little as I had to try and retort the magic and try to better control it. Eventually (and to my surprise admittedly), I think I could feel the magic I wanted working the way that I wanted.

Confident, I pressed more magic into the spear, as it eventually glowed even brighter than it was before. Then, right as I thought that something was going wrong, the light suddenly disappeared.

And what I saw… ooh, it made me quite excited.

The spear was now fully repaired and was looking like it had been made minutes ago. The blade was sharp and well crafted, the staff of the spear being much smoother and a bit longer. The foot of the sphere was not that different, other than it was a lot cleaner than it was before.

I had put what I hoped was three different enchantments on this weapon. The first was one to fix the spear completely. That seemed to have worked like a charm. 'Time to see if the other two enchantments were a success or not.'

I lifted up the spear and found that it was as light as a feather. The second enchantment, that being a lightweight enchantment was a success as well. I felt myself grin as I twirled the spear around. I saw that Macao and Wakaba's jaws had dropped upon witnessing my magic.

And I was definitely getting excited now. Time for the final test. I grinned as I spun the spear once more before throwing it up into the air. I then held up my hand.

"Here we go! Disappear!" I yelled as I created a huge explosion that completely engulfed the spear. I heard Macao and Wakaba shout with confusion as that happened. I however, kept watching as I saw the huge cloud of dust in the air eventually fade, and when it did, I saw the spear falling back to the ground.

I smirked as I caught the spear as it fell and saw that it was not damaged at all.

"Test three; success." I smirked as I spun the spear around before resting it at my side. Macao and Wakaba had their jaws dropped as they witnessed that. This was clearly a first for them.

In fact… they might be some of the very few people that have ever witnessed such a feat. Tyson is the only other person that I know that has Enchantment Magic, and I was unsure if he has ever done something like this.

Macao and Wakaba ran up to me, eager to ask what I did to the spear. "That was awesome!" They both cheered. "But, what did you do?"

"All I did was put three enchantments on this spear. The first was an enchantment to fix it up, the next was an enchantment to make it nearly lightweight and the final enchantment was to make it way more durable than it actually was." I explained holding the spear up for them to see.

"So, it can still be broken?" Macao wondered.

"Probably. I tried my best to make it as durable as I possibly could." I answered. "Though it did take the full force of one of my strongest attacks, so it seems quite strong to me."

'But this opens up more possibilities for me with this spear. What else can I enchant onto it? Can I make it fly back to my hand as if it were a magnet? Could I shape the spear into something else entirely? Could I even cast regular enchantment magic from the spear?'

The many different directions that I could take with this spear were very exciting for me to think about. If I could enchant a spear to be stronger than it actually was, could I do a similar thing with my armour?

I was quite interested at the idea, but for now, I had a more important thing to do.

"Alright. What am I gonna name this spear?" I addressed to Macao and Wakaba.

Both boys were surprised to hear that. "A name? Why are you naming your spear?" Wakaba asked.

"Well, I don't want to be calling it 'spear' every time I use from here on out. Naming it would be pretty fun I think." I answered as I took another look at the spear.

"Hmm…" Macao was thinking about what I could name it. Wakaba was doing the same, both boys trying to think about possible names.

"I think I'll name it… Alegod." I decided after a moment of thinking.

"Ale…god?" Macao wondered as he rose his eyebrows.

"Yes. Alegod. I quite like the name." I smiled coming to like the name quite a bit.

I spun Alegod around before holding it to my side. "Alegod it is!"

"Awesome!" Wakaba said. "So what now Cade?"

"Now." I began I put Alegod in my Requip storage. "I hear that Master has two important announcements to say to everyone at the guild. It's later in the afternoon that he'll be announcing it, but I don't mind heading down a bit early."

"I think I'll be heading down to the guild now. Will you two come with me?" I asked Macao and Wakaba as I turned to them.

"Sure. Let's go!" They both said with a nod.

The three of us then began to make our way down the hills and into Magnolia. Upon entering the town and following the path that took us to Fairy Tail, Macao asked me a question. "Hey Cade? I've always wondered this: Why don't you fight in the guild that much? Whenever a fight starts, you always seem to try not get involved."

"You know, I'm often asked that. The reason is that I don't particularly like to engage in brawls all the time. A part of me doesn't see the point. I actually find it more enjoyable to watch them play out. As I'm S-Class, I can watch them from the second floor and sit back." I answered with a small shrug.

I turned to both boys and gave a small smirk. "Or maybe I'm just that much stronger than you all." I joked with a raised eyebrow.

Both boys huffed as they crossed their arms. "Oh yeah?" Wakaba spoke. "We're getting stronger everyday! I'm sure we'll beat you one day, right Macao?"

"Yeah! Just you wait Cade! We'll beat you together when you least expect it!" Macao challenged, backing up his friend.

I actually smiled at that. "Well, I look forward to that. If it ever comes to be of course."

As we walked past some shops on the way to the guild, I happened to see Gildarts looking in a shop window. He was looking carefully at many of the different items that were available. As we got closer to the shop, I saw that it was one that had many different types of metals in it.

'Just what is Gildarts doing at a shop like that?' I thought with interest. Knowing that I'd never be able to figure it out, I walked over to see him, Macao and Wakaba behind me.

"I never thought I'd see you at a shop like this Gildarts." I spoke up as I approached him.

Gildarts turned with a surprised look on his face. "Oh Cade. What's up? I was just… looking at what this shop had to offer!" He grinned as he leaned against the window.

'Sure you were…' I thought with doubt. 'Hey! I can show him Alegod!'

"Hey, Gildarts. Check this out!" I held out my hand and summoned Alegod out of my Requip storage. I spun the spear around, showing it off. "What do you think?"

Gildarts was confused when he saw it. "A spear? What's that meant to be for? Fighting?" He questioned.

"Well yeah, what else? I called it Alegod." I said as I lowered the spear.

"That's a… powerful name." Gildarts remarked as he looked at the spear. "So what's so special about it?" Gildarts asked, him not entirely convinced at my idea.

"Well, I enchanted it to be nearly lightweight, also I made it so that it's nearly indestructible!" I explained.

"He's right!" Wakaba cut in. "Cade sent one of his strongest attacks at it and it didn't leave a scratch!"

Gildarts looked interested now. "That so? All right, let's see how it handles my magic! Cru-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" I interrupted Gildarts quickly, lowering his hand. "Let's not go that far yet!"

Gildarts gave a laugh as he lowered his arm. "Hey, I was only joking! Master would chase me out of town if I ended up destroying a shop here." He muttered with an awkward look.

"Say, the three of us were heading to the guild. You gonna come with us?"

"Nah, I just got an idea. I'll catch you guys later at the guild." Gildarts said as he gave me a nod.

I blinked not entirely expecting that. "Alright then, I'll catch you there Gildarts!" I waved as the three of us walked away from Gildarts.

"What do you think Gildarts was doing at that shop?" Macao asked me as we turned a corner. "He isn't the kind of guy that cares about magical metals that much."

"Beats me. I would have thought I'd see him maybe at the nearest magic shop, or maybe see him picking out flowers for Cornelia."

'Then again, I've don't think I've actually seen Gildarts buy flowers for Cornelia.' I thought with small realisation at that discovery. 'I wonder what he gets her.'

Only a few minutes later, the three of us were heading into the Fairy Tail Guild. The doors were right ahead of us and we opened them up and entered.

I was able to spot that many, if not all members of the guild were here. It was admittedly rare for everyone to be here at once. I don't think I saw anyone missing, except Master who I assumed was in his office.

I even saw Ivan on the second floor, looking down over everyone. Yet he wasn't grinning or looking like he didn't want to be here; rather he was just… watching.

I looked back and saw that Macao and Wakaba had left me to see some of the other members. Curious, I walked up to the second floor to see Ivan – something I'd normally avoid.

When I made upstairs, Ivan turned to look in my direction. He saw me, and just turned his head back around. "Hm. Cade."

"Ivan." I greeted back simply. I casually walked over to him, and stood next to him, looking over the railing the same as him. "So what's this big gathering about? I thought you might know since your Master's son."

"There's two announcements that he will be making." Ivan said, not trying to reject my presence. "The first will be… regarding me." He elaborated with a feeling that Ivan rarely showed.

Ivan sounded afraid. Not in a sense like he would get hurt, but rather fearful of what this announcement would mean to him. I frowned a little. "It's… nothing bad right?"

"No." Ivan answered immediately. "It's… not bad. But… does father have to announce it to everyone?" He questioned to himself with a scoff.

I was still curious, but with how uncomfortable Ivan was feeling right now, I chose to break away from the topic. "So what's this other thing that Master is announcing?"

Ivan seemed to relax as he answered me. "The day has come for him to announce who will be leaving the guild to join the D.G.E. in the Magic Council."

"Wh-What!?" I exclaimed with surprise. A brawl was currently going down below us, so hardly anyone heard my outcry there. "You mean when Milo and Daryl came here and advertised the positions?"

Ivan gave a retort. "You didn't hear him talking about it? Father has been anxious about this for months since the announcement. Many wizards here have come forwards wishing to be allowed permission to join the D.G.E." Ivan then gave a scoff. "Honestly, I find it absolutely ridiculous that they would choose to leave the life they have here and go and join up with the Magic Council! Simply what do they hope to gain by doing this?"

For a moment, I struggled to see why someone here would choose to leave the guild and join the Magic Council. But one idea did come to my mind. It was one that I never thought of until now.

"… My father." I answered, grimacing when realising. "I think that's why…"

Ivan was baffled by what I said. "Excuse me?"

"I heard that a lot of the wizards here were furious at his death. They wanted to avenge him so badly, but Master had to refuse them as he didn't know where the dark wizards that killed him were located." I elaborated with a quiet tone.

"I guess now that they're being offered to join a branch that focuses on specificity taking down Dark Guilds, they think that chance will come to them." I grimaced. "If that really is the case, they better be careful. Father was one of the strongest wizards that I knew, even compared to the people I've met since he's died."

Ivan gave me a strange look, before he looked back down below. "So why aren't you going?"

"Huh?" I was surprised by Ivan's question.

"Didn't you hear me? I asked why aren't you going with them? Do you not want revenge?" Ivan asked, while also belittling me, as if I were stupid.

I gave a stern look to Ivan. "No. Revenge won't bring my father back." I answered, as I gazed back down at all the guild members. "I'll never forgive those Demons for taking him away from me, but I know that my father would never want to act out revenge in his name. That would never have been his last thought to me."

I sighed, before putting the sadness I felt behind me, and smiling a little. "But I'd also never join the Magic Council as I've always felt home here!"

Ivan just stared back out at the guild. Just what is going on with him?

Ivan then seemed to straight up somewhat. "It's time. Father is about to make his announcements." He muttered.

"Wow, really? Thought it would be much longer until then." I muttered. "Well, I'm heading down to stand with everyone else. See you around Ivan." I said as I leapt over the railing and landed on the first floor.

Not long after I did that, the door to Master's office opened. Out walked Master Makarov, wearing his orange jester outfit. He had a rather difficult face to read, he seemed serious, yet at peace in a way.

Master leapt up onto the counter of the guild, facing us all. He cleared his throat before he spoke up. "Everyone! I'm sure you're all wondering why I've called you all here today. Some will know why, but I must make this known to all of you in person as my responsibility as Guild Master."

"The first of two things that I must share with you is some rather excellent news!" Master Makarov said as he grinned like an excited child. "It was just yesterday that I witnessed it with my own two eyes. As a father, I've never been prouder of my son!"

Master Makarov shed a tear before he spoke again. "Ivan's getting married!" He shouted with joy and pride.

Everyone was silent. Not a single word was said for about three seconds until…

"WHAAAAAAAAAAT!?" We all shouted out in astonishment. Jaws dropped, and many guild members fainted in shock, while other members were too shocked to response – I was feeling completely lost in my thoughts as this was announced.

Ivan… IS GETTING MARRIED!?

The entire guild then realised that they may have been a bit too shocked, and felt they might have upset Ivan. They erupted into cheers and applause as they loudly shared their love for the young man and his soon to be wife! I looked up and saw that Ivan had his arms crossed as he turned his head away from everyone. I was just able to make out that Ivan's face was a bit red with embarrassment.

I chuckled a little, still somewhat in disbelief. 'I still can't believe it… But you're getting married Ivan… Well, I never thought I'd think this, but I'm happy for you.' I thought with a smile.

Master Makarov's wiped away tears that were forming in his eyes. "It'll be happening early next year! You kids better not give me any more annoying paperwork, when it comes closer to the time!" Master ordered with a yell. "If so, I'm burning it up on the spot so I can attend my son's wedding!"

We all laughed as Master barked order that there. I had a feeling that Master would have just burned the paperwork as he usually did. It was a minute or so after the celebratory cheers whittled down that Master spoke back up to us.

"As proud and overjoyed I am to announce that today, I am afraid that I must make a rather saddening farewell." Master said solemnly.

Many members of the guild were confused at the sudden change in tone and atmosphere. Others however just lowered their heads a little.

"For those of you who know, please come forward." Master requested seriously.

I was able to count around… what looked like 19, maybe 20 members of the guild, many of them much older than myself step forward to Master as they then turned to face us.

Was there really this many? All these people wished to go forwards outside of the guild and face the evil in the world head on? '…I didn't think THIS many would step forward. I feel a little bit proud of them, but also worried…'

Did they all wish to properly avenge my father, and defeat the guild that killed him?

Master Makarov took a deep breath before speaking up. "Only a few months ago, a head of the D.G.E. came here and offered all the members of Fairy Tail a place with them. Since then, many members have come forwards and requested to me that they leave."

Master stuffed back a sob before he continued. "Your friends that stand before you will be leaving this guild; this home and will be taking the fight to the Dark Guilds!" Master announced with pride and sadness.

Everyone else in the guild began to argue and shout, not knowing this beforehand. While it may seem like they opposed this, in truth I knew that they were upset as they realised the dangers that these leaving members all be getting themselves involved in. Fairy Tail was not just a regular wizards guild; we were all family here.

I saw that the members in front of Master that were leaving were doing their best to keep it together. Master himself was struggling at this. He did speak up to try and stop his coming tears.

"Shut up, you brats! Don't you start making this any harder for me than it already is! Ahem… These 20 comrades of ours will leave our guild on this day. From then on, we must promise that we will continue to fight and live just as we have for them!" Master shouted firmly.

"But wait Master!" Came one guild member. "You said 20 people, but I can only count 19 people up there!"

Master gave a small nod. "Yes, I was waiting to announce him. They will not be walking alone. I was able to strike a deal with the heads of the D.G.E. One of Fairy Tail's best will be leading them!"

There were many mutters about who it could possibly be, but the sound of footsteps could be heard across the wooden planks of the floor. Out from the crowd of guild members, walked a man with light brown hair and light blue eyes. He was wearing some different clothing than he usually would; a dark brown coat, with a dark blue shirt under that. Below that he wore some black jeans and some grey shoes. To the front of the crowd, walked Quikora, with a stern look on his face.

'So Quikora is leaving us… I know that he some interest back then when he heard of the possibility, but still… to see him actually step forward feels surreal.' I thought as I saw him walk forwards.

When making it to the front of the crowd, Quikora turned around to face us all. "For years I've served as an S-Class wizard of this guild. Every day and every quest I went on was nothing but joy to me. Yet, I always longed to do more to help people in the world. I approached Master Makarov, and he suggested that I lead the group of wizards here in their next journey."

Quikora continued to speak with a sigh.

"To all of you in the guild. I know that this will not be the last time that we meet. We be in separate towns, but Fiore is a small country, we shall definitely run into each other sometime." He turned behind him. "And for those behind me, I know how much this means to you here. I personally assure you, that I will guide you through to the desire that we hope for this!"

"And no matter how hard we may miss the Guild, Fairy Tail will always be our home!" He yelled with joy. "Nothing will change that! Not ever!"

Everyone in the guild cheered when that was spoke from Quikora. I could tell that many of us were happy that a serious man like him was leading things with the leaving members.

Master Makarov then spoke up. "Now it is time. To those of you that are leaving, I must recite the key three rules that you must abide by!"

"The first, you must never reveal sensitive information about Fairy Tail to others for as long as you live. The second, you must never use former contacts met through your being in the guild for personal gain. And the third, while our paths may have diverged, you must continue to live out your life with all your might, you must never consider your own life to be something insignificant, and you must never forget about your friends for as long as you live!"

Everyone in the building erupted into cheers; those staying in the guild, and those who were leaving. I could only smile when hearing the three rules that Master set up. They were enough to make me shed a few tears, and I wasn't ashamed of that at all.

Quikora smirked before he raised his voice. "Alright then! We're leaving tomorrow morning. If there's anything that you all want to say or do, get to it!"

One of the leaving members walked forwards and punched a guild member ahead of him on the cheek with a spell of his.

"That's what you get for drawing on my face that one time!" He yelled with joy.

And in less than a minute a new brawl had started.

Well, I guess this was a good time to test out Alegod. I smirked as I summoned the spear. Let's see what what it could do.

One more chapter done and dusted, I hope you all enjoyed that one. Remember to leave a review if you liked it or not! I wanted to try and originally split the three major things in this chapter into their own chapters, but I somewhat struggled with that, hence me showing them all here. Also, Happy Easter to you all!

What a heroic reason to leave a guild. But will those leaving be successful in what they hope to achieve? Hm, we shall have to wait and see…

We also got to see the acquirement of Alegod, the enchanted spear that Cade will be using from here on out. About time spears got some love. Seriously, swords are REALLY popular to the point that everyone seems to forget about many other weapons. I'll admit, maybe Alegod is a bit too powerful of a name, but I wasted to go with something original for a name.

And guess what? Ivan is getting married! But you know what that means…

LAXUS IS COMING!… Ok we still have ages till we get the Laxus that we all know and love, but he is coming!

Ah, one more thing! We are really close to this story's two year anniversary, and we are also really close to 300 Favourites and Follows for this story! If you have been reading passively, I'd really appreciate it if you Followed/Favourited the story so we can reach that milestone by then. I'm sure we can do it!

Anyway, I hope that all you enjoyed this chapter, and I am looking forward to seeing you all in the next!
