Noah shifting SIG 552 assault rifle on his shoulder uncomfortably, staring at the 'Mayflower' Asylum that standing couple of miles away in total darkness of
the stormy night by the night vision goggle he borrowed from a friend. Not sure of what to expect.
" Why can't we just marching on and stomping that glorified hospital like a pizza dough? Surely whatever holding fort there are no matches against all this!"
The man blurted, wiping rainwater off his goggle before he will glaring at the camp which contains hundreds of armed soldiers and at least a dozen of
Leopard tanks.
Switzerland met no war for over centuries by now and the forces that gathered here may make some civilians thinking that this country is under siege if they
ever seen this gathering.
This is why the secrecy is a second most important priority here… The first priority is to contain whatever taking over the asylum from getting out of it.
Though there seems to be no sign of such attempts even after 18 hours has passed since the Swiss military watched over this place.

" Whew! That was a long ride." Amelia Watson pulling her coat tightly as she finally stepping out of the helicopter door at last, being followed by Gawr Gura
and Mori Calliope who seem to not being bothered by the strong winds and heavy rain that pouring all around them at all.
Some soldiers rush in to offering three umbrellas to the trio as they quickly running across the wet and muddy field, reaching the makeshift command center
which is basically a biggest tent in the area in less than 30 seconds.
" I thought there were five of yours?" Commander Lino raised his eyebrows, while other high ranking officers also glaring at the three soaking wet girls in
front of them with dubious look on their faces.
" 'Phoenix' and 'Priestess' still having other duties in their hands. So three of us will be the first to investigate the situation.
I would like to have some debrief and as much support as much as possible before we will start observing that you can gives?"
Calliope asked, resting her legs on one empty chair that standing nearby. While Amelia and Gura snatching hot chocolate and donuts from the tray that laying

'Mayflower' Asylum's front gate : Ten minutes later
" Walking through the heavy rain sure is tough! And those guys aren't even giving us some of their jeep." Amelia sneezed ,
pointing her high power flashlight at the steel bar gates in front of them and allowed Calliope to cutting through the thing as if it was made by melting
paraffin with her reaper's scythe.
Gura chuckled as she is enjoying the downpour of water all over her body. Shark girl's eyes glowing blue in the darkness as she is pointing toward the
waterproof coat Swiss soldiers have given to Ame and Calli few minutes ago.
" At least they let you having a coat. Beside, their vehicles' engine seemed dies down upon getting closer to this place anyway.
No need to sacrificed one precious Jeep for our little comfort."
Amelia continued to whined. " They should at least let us lending a bigger gun. I only have this tiny ass toy and few Watson's concoction under my sleeves!"

Amelia shrugged. " It's not like that we can returns now and asked for coming back later. Beside, Ina'nis has the whole Akukin's employees helping her right
now and Kiara is an adult. I am sure those twos can fend after themselves. The best course of action for us right now is to get in, deal with Shiori and then
return to warned the other rather than standing out here in the rain and arguing with each other.

For an asylum that being takeover by psycho alien bookworm.
' Mayflower' look incredibly clean and in order at least in the main hall area. Except for the fact that it has been in total darkness due to the lack of electricity.
Amelia couldn't find the difference between this place and any other hospital she used to visit in the past except for some 19th century antiques like old plate
armors, bronze statues and some big ass oil paintings here and there which reveal this asylum old origins.
All of which blonde detective observed using flashlight while Gura and Calliope sniffing around, looking for sight of troubles.
" Look at the date on this patient appointment book! The last signed was six days ago. So, those Swiss guessed about Shiori's takeover is quite on spot."
Amelia checking the hardcover book that laying on the table before turning to observed cup of dried coffee that laying nearby.
Trying to figure out clue of what might happened to the staffs and patients during the day everything went to sh*t.
" No trace of fights or any kind of struggling. Whatever happened to these people. It was too quick for them to even start panicking or so peaceful that there
is not a single resistance. Hell, may be both."
Gura looking at sofa and chairs that neatly being placed back into its place and the book that standing in order on its shelves.
Same goes with the medical counter. As if people who evacuated from the asylum having a big cleaned up before their eventually leaving.
" More importantly. Not a single fragments of life force being shred here. Those are stuffs that will come out whenever people dies along with their souls.

Inside the door is a long corridor which separated into both directions. The wall being occupied by more painting and different room for each patients to met
doctors and checking their symptoms.
All of that being covered by thick, black slime. Some still dripping from the ceiling but most flooding over the floor and wall like an unwanted decoration.
There is even some slime slowly pouring out of the corridor into the main hall like some mini mudslides.
Disturbing the illusion of normalcy that fooling Amelia, Gura and Calliope for quite a while at last.
" The heck is that?" Amelia asked, reaching her empty lab tube to taking the slime's sample when Gura suddenly grabbed her arm.
" Hold up, Watson. I smell something fishy from those stinkin' ink. Don't touch it yet until we become sure that it will not leap and eating your face, okay?"
" Understandable. Those black things kinda reminds me of our last fight with Shiori too. This is 200% her styles." Calliope nodded.
" But there's more than that." Gura sniffed. " This smell alien and yet familiar at the same time… Ah! I know it! This goo is being filled with human DNA!
I have no idea how can that be the case though."
Calliope turning her face into a skull in order to scanning the piles of slime before she will quickly return to her human forms.
Cursing loudly while doing so too.
" What's wrong?" Amelia asked, pointing her tiny pistol at the black goo just in case.
" Gura said that there are human DNA in here so I decided to scanning it just in case. And of course there they are.
The human souls we talked about? All of them are being mixed inside those slimes like some f**k up cocktails!"
" You mean Shiori cooking human DNA and souls inside these slime? This is why there are no traces of missing people in the main halls?"
Amelia tilted her head.
" Worse. The slime is actually the people that being transformed into goo. I don't know why and how. But this is their organic matters and souls being melted
and blended together like some sh*t stews.
Not merely cosmic slime like what Shiori pulled last time." Reaper explained.
" So Shiori killed all these people and turning them into porridge? That's something crazy alright!" Amelia tried to understand.
" Here's shocker. These people are still alive. Well, technically. Since their souls still attached with their melted bodies.
However since their souls and bodies being mixed together to the point that their individuality being destroyed.
Similar to those who falls into our Underworld's Styx River but in smaller and simpler scales."
" So Shiori trying to created hell?" Gura asked, poking at the goo with her trident.
Calli shook her head. " It is not as simple as that to mimics the cycle of life and dead. However, creating a river of souls like this will surely rising the amount
of dark matter in the small area. Which causing this world and shadow realm to overlapped, allow…things from other side to easily reach this realm and
Vice Versa."
" So in super TL;DR. Unless we stopped Shiori from keep building those goo. Something scary might approached our dimension, right?
Sound simple enough. Let's go and kick her ass then!" Amelia pulling her pistol out again and start stepping into the dark corridor that being filled with goo.
" Are you not feeling a bit uncomfortable? Those slime you going to steps on are people after all." Reaper asked the blonde detective who shrugged.
" Come on! It's not like we can do anything for them now. Beside, from what I gathered in Internet polls, 80% of people love being stepped on by Anime girls
like us after all. This might be the last happiness we can grants them with." Amelia bullsh*tting her way out in order to convince her friends to joined up.
" If you says so…" Gura shrugged, opened the nurse drawer and pulling some hospital plastic sheet out of it.
" Here, let's wrapping our feet and legs with these first. Bet you guys not wanting to cleaning human stew off your favorite dress after all of this is over."

It make walking become a bit difficult. But at least Amelia's newest shoes is safe from being directly contacted with human goo. So she is thankful for that.
The trio traveled deeper into the corridor and searching for Shiori's whereabouts. But except for thick slime and damaged furnitures.
Most of the rooms they have searched contains nothing worth mentioning about.
" This is ridiculous! We have been walking forever and seeing only slime and slime!" Amelia complained, going to smacking some slime covered wall in
frustration when she saw something moving at the corner of her eyes, making the detective quickly drawing her gun at the direction but found nothing but
same old black slime that seems to be everywhere.
" We just walking through the main hall for like 5 minutes ago. What's wrong?" Gura stopped when seeing Ame's reaction.
While Calliope touching one slimy painting on the wall with her bare hand.
Amelia shining her flashlight at the wall. " Sorry. I think I saw something here. Must've been my nerved." Detective suddenly seeing something white moving
at the corner of her eyes again. Making her pointing both gun and flashlight at the direction and of course, finding nothing there.
" This place is getting into my head. Screw this! Let's running as fast as we can through the corridor, shall we?
Or else I will gone mad with all these dripping nightmares around us!" Amelia voices starting to have streak of panic in it.
Gura looking at Calliope's eyes before she will sighed. " In a real fight. Nervousness is one of our enemies.

Shark girl suddenly throwing her trident toward the nearby wall. Impaling the weapon through the giant eye with size of rugby ball and causing more black
goo to spraying all over the place.

" Incoming!" Before Amelia could react, Calliope suddenly shouted as the pile of slime on the ceiling suddenly grow big and falling down in different shapes
and forms.
Reaper spinning her scythe like wheel and slashing most of them in half. But outside of her swinging range. More eyeballs open and detaching itself from the
blacken wall. Each beginning to transform into something else as Gura pulled her trident out and dragging Amelia close to her and Calliope.
Some of the new monster slime are simply black eyeball with something akin to mixing of leaves and legs growing underneath it.
While other mixing itself up with paper documents from doctors' table and using those as their armor and limbs.
While the worst of them simply pulling steel and concrete from the wall around them and using those as their head.
Some kind of book sticking out of the monster mouth which reminded Amelia of human's tongue.
While the first twos are roughly in large dog and human sized. The masked monster is well bigger than that.
Maybe at the size of stallion judging by her quickly glances eyes.
Facing one or two of those things does not scared Ame. She has facing ancient gods and terrible aliens far more then the number of her fingers after all.
But as the girls keep watching. More than 20 of the goo monsters already rising from the wall, ceiling and floor with no sight of stop spawning at any
moment.
One side of the slimy wall suddenly turning into giant human lips shaped before Shiori's voices will coming out of it.
" I hope my new friends can keep you guys busy for a moment. These guys are bunches of ANTI that wanting to cause ruckus in our realm but unable to due
to their lack of materialized bodies.
So I decided to helped them having fun in an exchange of bits of task. Do you want to know which name I have for these guys?
The eyes flowers thing are Novelite while the paper monsters named Page. The last biggest monster supposed to be…" Shiori squinting at the monster's face
before quickly naming it.
" Bookwyrm! Sound cool, isn't it? Now I will deliberately explain to you why I am doing this and how to stopped my complex, evil plan-"
Gura shooting water bullet at the lips, blowing it up before another words could coming out.
" Why!? That's the most important part!" Amelia crying in disappointment before Gura will forcing her to turn at the direction of Calliope who being throw
down by five Pages and seven Novelites at the same time.
" You fool! Shiori wanted us to focusing on her rambling while those underlings ganging us up. They almost got your head has Calliope not intervened."
Gura then thrusting her trident toward the slime monster from behind, pulling the weapon out and then cutting through two Pages with an ease.
" Hey! I am not that weak! We have gone to worse together, remembered?" Amelia protested, firing her pistol at the bunches of running Novelites until her
gun is empty.
" There are too many of them here! Run inside some room and waiting there with your gun. Me and Calli will deal with these guys."
" Stop acting like I am your baby. These monster aren't that strong. See? My gun can killed it." Amelia reloading and firing at Page's eye two times, making it fall down and dies.
Instead of answering, Gura suddenly shouldered Amelia aside. But before detective could complained she suddenly saw one book slamming into
Gura's stomach and knocking her for almost ten meters away from the spot. Blue trident falling from shark girl's hands while the book keep going,
piercing through the wall like some anti-material bullet and leaving book-shaped hole behinds.
" What the…" Amelia turning back to see the giant Bookwyrm crawling it way toward her, knocking several Pages and Novelites aside with its tentacles
before reaching for the detective, who somersaulted backward and barely avoid being snatched by it.
" Take lead in the face you book lover freak!" Amelia roared, firing three rounds at the thing's face. But Bookwyrm's mask is so strong that her bullet
bouncing off its face instead.
Amelia switched her aim to its body but she might as well firing into the sack of dirt. Since the thing seem to not feeling the next five shot as it is getting
closer to her again.
New book showing up in its mouth as an answer for her gun, Ame trying her best to concentrated, ready to stopped time if necessary.
But she doesn't need to. Gura stepping on Amelia's shoulder and throwing her trident right into the monster's open mouth,
making the thing fall down while Shark girl leaping in the air. Double kicks two Novelites on the ceiling before she will landing on the twitching Bookwyrm,
ripping chunks of its body with her teeth and claws.
" Get inside that room! You will get into me and Calli's way."
Amelia going to protests but quickly falling backward instead because of slashing waves that coming out of Calliope scythe had running through 8 Pages
before it will reaching her. Avoid being cut in half by friendly fire just because she happened to look at the direction by pure luck.
" Okay. You are right! I am noping out now." Amelia crawling toward one of the doctor's room and open the door.
Almost pulling the thing off frame by her panicking as she closes it as fast as her arm is capable of.
" Phew! That was close." Detective sighed in relief before she will quickly observed the room. There aren't much of slime here and the one that start to mixing
together in Novelite shaped got reward with two .380 rounds from her gun. The twitching goo falling on top of some medieval Knight armor that standing
close to the working table.
Maybe whoever owned this room love to collect artifact as their hobby. Amelia's flashlight showing some replica of crown and ancient relics being put in the
showcase here and there. Hell, there was even a sword hanging on the wall.
A loud cranking sound make Amelia stops inspecting the golden cross that seems to being made of brass.
Detective pointing her flashlight toward the direction of the Knight armor that supposed to being put on the live size mannequin.
But the thing is now stepping out of the showcase, dripping with black goo that leaked from its armor before the helmet part will open,
revealing big Novelite eye inside.
" Okay. Guess you're Novelknight now. But Knight chivalry probably told you to treat woman well-whoa!" Amelia scream and fall down when the Knight
suddenly leaping. Not at her but for the sword that being hanged on the wall. Which being unsheathed and pointing toward her before Ame could even get
back on her feet.
" That thing looks sharp, but unfortunately! This is modern era you punk!" Amelia firing at the Novelknight in shining armor.
Two and then three times before changing magazine.
Expect the thing to fall down and dies like other Novelites but flinched when seeing that the armored monster simply shrugged those bullet off instead.
Novelknight then thrusting its sword toward Amelia who darts aside and firing at the joints on on the monster's leg. Making it stumble.
" A boss fight! Alone? Shouldn't get in this room in the first place-!"
Amelia complained being cut short as the Novelknight suddenly slamming into her like an angry bull. Sending blonde detective to bursting through the room's
door and then flying across long corridor where Gura is pushing one Page down and repeatedly punching its face while Calliope giving massive Bookwyrm
a high kick.
Before Amelia will hitting the door that standing at the opposite direction of the room she used to hides. Knocking the thing off its frame before she will rolling
helplessly on the new room slimy floor before any of her friends could reacted.
The following Novelknight grabbed detective by her coat and then throwing her into the nearby showcase. Shattering its glass.
"Dude! Do you know what people said about different in weight? " Amelia complained, before she will jumping aside when the long sword being swung at her.
Kicking the Novelknight back as hard as she can but only hurting her own foot from the act.
The monster then thrusting its blade at Amelia's chest when her back is against the wall. But Ame can avoid being impales by doing a back flips over the
monster head. Almost reaching the empty door frame when Gura suddenly popped her head in the way.
" Ame! Don't running around like some chickens! Used your surroundings against the opponent like in our training-"
Shark girl eyes suddenly rolled as one Page monster jumped on her back and choking the girl's neck with its paper tentacles.
Causing Gura to staggering away, desperately reaching for the thing on her back.
" Using my surroundings? Come on Dude! This is Swiss hospital. Do you think they gonna keep something dangerous within our reach?"
Amelia quickly kneel down to dodge the Novelknight's sword swings but being kicked in the back by its armor feet as a reward.
Causing her to crashed into patient bed which Ame quickly dug under it, making the next swings from Novelknight stuck deep into the furniture and caused
the monster to staying still for a moment while it is trying to ripped its weapon free.
" Okay. Weapon. Weapon in the hospital room. What is the most dangerous thing doctor would kept nearby? Scalpel? Alcohol? Healthcare fees?
Or…something like- elephant gun!?" Amelia who crawling out of the bed at last yelped. Seeing that there is a single Rigby 470 double barrel rifle laying
peacefully in the showcase Novelknight throwing her into moments ago.
The thing look real enough and a small thing near the gun butt must have been ammo's box.
Maybe the Swiss aren't as peaceful people as Ame has imagined after all.
Or this doctor simply love shooting Cape buffaloes as their hobbies, who knows?
Anyways, the most important thing now is to start a scientific test about how well medieval armor fare well against .470 Nitro Express round.
And Amelia is more than willing to do just that.
Detective almost leaps in the air to grabbed the weapon, putting two rounds inside each of its barrel and then turning to faced Novelknight who already
pulling its sword out of the bed and turns to faced her.
" Let's see how thick you actually are." Amelia pulled both triggers at the same time. Being knocked off her feet by gun's recoils and feel like her shoulder
being hit by baseball bat at the same time.
Detective scrambled to gets up and trying her best to reloaded the rifle. Eyes darting toward where that Novelknight used to standing in case that it still
managed to reaching her somehow.
To Ame's relieved. The armor monster already collapsing when she saw it. A big two holes on the thing's chest leaking black liquid out like some broken pipe
even as the Knight trying to lifted its weapon for the last time.
Novelknight eyes darting around crazily before it will start melting away, leaking out of the Knight armor and become nothing but a pile of goo that spreading
on the floor, seemingly dead at last.
Just to be sure. Ame decided to blowing its helmet away after reloading her rifle. Starting to get used to the gun's kicks now even when she pick the bullets
box up and putting it inside her coat pocket as much as she could carried.
" Girls! How do you do? The great hunter is here to save the day~"
Amelia poking her head out of the room just in time to see Calliope knocked three Bookwyrm down with her scythe,
the reaper lick her lips before she will yelling at Gura who already ripping Page's head off with her teeth and then using it to beat couple of Novelites to death.
" Gura! Let's clean these guys up. Remember our moves in training room?"
" Of course!" Gura grinned, Shark girl then start spinning her trident of Atlantis until it is almost too fast for Amelia to see.
Drawing water from the building pipes and rain outside around her while Calliope charging toward Gura, scythe glowing bright in the lightless hallway.
" Look like I am not needed here. See you!" Amelia quickly running back inside her own room and hide under the bed.
Just seconds away before Calliope will sends her slashing wave to crashed with Gura's water mirror. Sending hundreds of reflected energy waves to slashing
in every direction. Turning every Novelites, Pages and Bookwyrm into minced meats within a single second.
"" Q!"" Atlantean and Reaper saying their collaboration moves at the same time, before millions pieces of black goo will raining down around them.

except for the one with biggest gate at the end of it. And judging by the information that Swiss army gave to them earlier.

is busy fighting me. Ame can pulled those time manipulation moves if things really get bad while Calli can teleported away in shadow realm.
