The suspicious-looking mad scientist then explained to Buccaneer "Buckles" Murphy, Gillian "Gill" Norman, Akatora Tsujimiya and the Creepy Guy that the futuristic gun in his hands had the ability to turn a bad guy into a good guy, much to the guys' disbelief and doubts.

In a school located somewhere in the Human Village of Gensokyou, we see Alice Margatroid, Aya Shameimaru, Blu the Honor, Bowser, Darius Greg, Donkey Kong, Flandre Scarlet, Fujiwara no Mokou, Gino Samuels, Helmsley "Helmz, Helmet" D. Heyman, Kamek, Kanako Yasaka, Keine Kamishirasawa, Luigi the Plumber, Mario the Plumber, Marisa Kirisame, Meiling Hong, Nitori Kawashiro, Patchouli Knowledge, Reimu Hakurei, Remilia Scarlet, Ruderford "Rudy" Tucker, Rutee Katrea, Sakuya Izayoi, Sanae Kochiya, Stahn Aileron, Suwako Moriya, Waluigi, Wario, Youmu Konpaku and Yukari Yakumo gathered around in a classroom while having a conversation with Marth and Zed Irysh.

Marth had explained how he met with Zed.

Marth was just taking a stroll in his land when all of a sudden a purple-colored portal appears under his feet and got suck into it. Marth would later found himself in some sort of existence devoid of life, save for some skeletons walking around.

In order to survive and escape the place, Marth was forced to fight through hordes and hordes of undead monsters and despite his vast amount of skills and powers, fighting an endless hordes of monsters nearly overwhelms him until Zed arrives to save him.

But instead of fighting, the two opted to leave the place by jumping through a portal where Zed came from. After thanking Zed for saving him, Marth introduced himself and decided to aid Zed in his quest.

Zed revealed that he originates from the Kingdom of McGee and works as a swordsman for an Adventure Guild based in the kingdom. And while Zed is not exactly as powerful as Marth, he is very skilled in wielding his sword and other types of weaponries, he is levelheaded and charismatic, he is also skilled in things outside of battle like cooking, logistics, medicine, intel gathering and negotiations with local citizens and nobles.

The only powers Zed had is opening portals to other worlds, which he kept a secret from everyone in the kingdom, and also had the ability to use different kinds of magical weapons and artifacts that he gathered across his adventures.

During one of Zed's quest in an abandoned town, he came across a strange figure clad in black with large wings on his back and black mask on his face alongside a pair of horns. And before Zed could utter a word towards the strange figure, they attacked him by piercing him on the chest with a black sharp object that came out from their right hand and while the attack isn't fatal or anything as he didn't bleed nor found himself with a wound, Zed felt something happen inside his body, much to his confusion and uneasiness.

When Zed demanded the strange figure of what they did to him, they responded by revealing that they put on a curse on him that reduced his lifespan before adding up that Zed only had five years to live before he crumbles into dust. Before Zed could demand them to reverse the curse, they disappeared through a red-colored portal, much to his dismay.

Instead of telling this curse to everyone, Zed decided to keep it to himself in order not to make friends and love ones worry, and at the same time, he conducted a plan to search for the strange figure in order to catch them and get them remove the curse. Recalling that the strange figure left via red portal, Zed concluded that they came from another world, so he decided to use his powers to open portals to travel from one world to another in order to find this strange figure or at least get some info about them.

And during in one of his travels, Zed arrives in a place called Neo-City and met some people from an organization called the Heroes Coalitions where he learned things about the strange figure.

Zed learned that the strange figure is called the Curse Maker that had the ability to cast upon powerful curses on anyone and anything, and the only way to undo the curse is to defeat him which includes taking his life.

And upon obtaining such valuable information, Zed continued his search for the Curse Maker in order to undo his curse alongside every curse that the villain casted upon, and if it means killing the Curse Maker to do so, then so be it.

And during his travels, Zed came across Marth in a place devoid of life and decided to save him. And after finding themselves in a safe place, the two introduced themselves to each other and Zed told Marth about his quest, and as a form of gratitude for saving him, Marth decided to aid Zed's quest.

And the rest is history.

Yukari crossed her arms, "So, you've been a victim of the Curse Maker as well." she pointed out.

"You guys too?" Zed assumed.

Marisa nodded, "Yup." she chirped in confirmation, "But instead of cursing a single person, he had to cast curse in the entire of Gensokyou!" she complained, "I wouldn't mind if that bastard cursed Reimu or someone else." she pouted.

"Oi." Reimu uttered in disapproval.

"And because of that all of our powers became limited." Alice shared.

"We're lucky that the Curse Maker didn't completely prevented us from using our powers." Yukari expressed, "But it will be a matter of time before he try and do it." she stated in dread.

"That's why we need to find him fast and get our curses undone." Zed beckoned.

"But the question is..." Marth uttered, "... where to find him?" he questioned.

Yukari then spoke, "Well..." she uttered, "... the Heroes Coalitions that Zed found in Neo-City..." she mentioned, "We're allies to them." she revealed, "Though we do plan on officially joining them later on." she admitted, "Anyway..." she uttered, "... they agreed to help us in searching for the Curse Maker by providing us details about his current whereabouts." she stated, "And currently were waiting for them to call us before we resume our quest." she stated.

"Alongside information about those creatures that attacked this town earlier." Patchouli added.

Mario then spoke, "Since the-a-two of-a-you are looking for the-a-Curse Maker as well..." he pointed out, "... I-a-suggest that we-a-work together in this-a-endeavor." he suggested.

Zed nodded, "That's a good idea." he accepted.

As Mario and Zed shook hands, Marth turns to Bowser, "I'm surprised that you decided to help." the blue-haired swordsman admitted, "I mean..." he uttered, "... you're you." he reasoned.

Bowser rolled his eyes, "Kidnapped Princess Peach more than once and you're labeled for life." he grumbled.

Reimu crosses her arms, "Still..." she uttered, "... is it possible for the Curse Maker to be defeated or even get killed?" she questioned, "He could be immortal or something." she assumed.

"Well..." Gino spoke, "... from what little info we had of him so far that might be possible." he considered, "But according to some people from the Heroes Coalitions whom encountered the Curse Maker, they managed graze him a bit and made him feel pain, so it's entirely possible that he's not completely invincible." he stated.

"Still..." Alice uttered, "We need to see it for ourselves if those claims are true or not." she beckoned.

"Indeed." Sakuya uttered in agreement.

"But if we managed to corner the Curse Maker..." Stahn mentioned, "... who gets the final blow?" he asked.

Zed then spoke, "Leave the burden of killing the Curse Maker to me." he answered while gripping his hands tightly, "He took away half of my lifespan and if it means killing him just to get it back, then so be it." he declared.

Kanako nodded, "Then we'll leave it to you." she accepted.

Remilia scoffed, "I would love to incinerate that scoundrel myself but you had better reasons, so I'll let you do it instead." she stated.

Zed nodded, "Then you count on me." he replied.

Suddenly, everyone heard a small beeping noise before turning their heads towards Nitori, whom brought out a tablet given to her by a staff member from the Heroes Coalitions.

Nitori then read a message before turning towards everyone, "That was a staff member from the Heroes Coalitions." she announced, "And it had small information about the creatures that we fought earlier." she shared.

"Then what are those creatures?" Patchouli asked.

"They're called Nightmares." Nitori answered, "And despite their appearance taking the form of crudely drawn-designs from crayons, they are extremely dangerous and way more violent than the Emotionless." she stated, "How these creatures are created is unknown but they do have an image of their creator." she stated before showing to everyone an image of Arisu Nightmare.

"Hmm..." Alice hummed, "Despite her size, I can definitely tell that she's a very dangerous person." she commented.

"I wonder if this girl and Doremy Sweet are actually related." Sanae thought out loud.

"She looks cute." Rudy commented, "And psycho-looking at the same time." he added.

"Even if she isn't, I'm pretty she's out your league." Darius pointed out while taking a bite of a hamburger.

"Shut it, Greg." Rudy growled.

"Any more information?" Blu inquired.

Nitori shook her head, "Not much." she replied, "But they did mentioned that the Nightmares will be reduce to dust once they're defeated." she shared, "And I'm pretty sure that we all know that by now." she stated with a blank look.

Keine sighed, "It's the very reason why the villagers are sweeping the streets outside." she uttered.

"Hey, Marisa." Rudy called out, "You had a broom." he pointed out, "Go make yourself useful and go help the people here in cleaning the streets." he ordered.

"Hey!" Marisa squawked in displeasure, "My broom is meant for flying and not for cleaning - ze!" she complained.

"Anything else?" Yukari furthered.

"They also managed to find the Curse Maker's next location." Nitori answered.

Zed perked up, "Really? Where?" he asked.

Before Nitori could utter a reply, Rudy raised a hand up which got everyone's attentions, "Before that..." the loser uttered, "... I had this feeling that we're missing someone." he stated.

Everyone then looks around the room and realized that one person is missing.

"Where the fuck is Kenny?" Waluigi asked.

Suddenly, Kennedy "Kenny" MacIntosh's ghost pops out in the middle of everyone with a rather angry expression, scaring both Luigi and Youmu that both of them fainted.

"YOU GUYS LET ME DIE!" Kenny exploded.

Gino sighed, "Guess I'm going to build another android body for this motherfucker." he uttered in annoyance.

Bzzzttt...

Meanwhile the scene changes to the deepest part of space where we see a large planet-sized space station floating around towards a certain existence.

The planet-sized space station had a rather egg-shaped appearance with various pillars sticking out from every corners, the station is covered by a large number of windows and rectangular entrance paths & hatches, and eight rings with windows circled around the station.

This is the Grand Master Museum owned by the Grand Master Collector.

Inside one hangar, we see DarkSuperStarmon talking to a pair of creatures.

The first creature is a bipedal beast resembling a werewolf with black fur, white tiger stripes, magenta claws and white-tipped blades. It wears ripped jeans with a spiked knee-pad on the right leg and a normal one on the left, a bracer attached to an arm sleeve on its left arm, brass knuckles, and a dog tag around its neck. This is ShadowWereGarurumon.

The second creature is a short cartoonic-looking dog with light-brown skin tone, it had a pair of blue ears and tail, he had a large white eyes with green iris, a round nose and sharp teeth. It had three fingers on each hand and foot with sharp nails, and had a white D-logo on it's belly. This is Doggymon.

"Listen you two." DarkSuperStarmon enticed, "You've been promoted to Level 2 Collectors, so I want the two of you to do your best and collect a lot heroes of value." he beckoned, "Make the Grand Master proud!" he encouraged.

ShadowWereGarurumon saluted in response, "Yes sir! We'll do our best sir!" he complied in determination with Doggymon giggling in response. The werewolf-Digimon then sneered at his companion, "Shut it will ya!" he hissed, "I've been waiting for this day and I'm not gonna let you ruin it!" he exclaimed and Doggymon responded by giggling louder.

DarkSuperStarmon then waves a hand, "All right, all right." he interrupted, "Get to work you two." he ordered, "We got a lot of work to do today." he stated.

ShadowWereGarurumon saluted in response, "Yes sir!" he complied, "You can count on us!" he declared in glee, "Come on, festro!" he beckoned.

And with that, ShadowWereGarurumon and Doggymon left the hangar, leaving DarkSuperStarmon to sigh in disbelief.

"Is there a problem?" a voice asked.

DarkSuperStarmon shook his head, "Nothing much." he answered, "I'm just worried about those two." he admitted before turning to the owner of the voice, "By the way, I'm digging you're new look, Hitmonlee." he complimented.

The figure behind him is none other than Hitmonlee but with a rather different appearance.

He had a slim yet muscular body, he is bald-headed and had a brown skin tone, and he had a sharp-black eyes with yellow irises. He wears a brown scarf wrapped around his neck and lower head, he wears a brown baggy pants with a black belt wrapped around it, and his arms, legs and feet are covered with tapes.

Hitmonlee smirked in response, "Please..." he uttered, "Call me, Lee." he requested while holding out the Ara-Ka Cube in hand.
