Voyage of the Float Empress
Chapter 1
Romance Dawn
The air was thick with the smell of smoke and blood as the fierce battle raged at Marine Headquarters. Shiki the Golden Lion stood triumphant atop a pile of defeated foes, his golden hair glimmering under the blood-red sky, his blades stained crimson. Around him lay the remnants of his ferocious assault, corpses littered like discarded toys. The chaos was only interrupted by the resolute figures of Admiral Sengoku, the Buddha, and Vice Admiral Garp, renowned as Garp the Fist.
With a disdainful glare, Shiki taunted them, his voice dripping with scorn. "There's no way that Roger was captured by trash like you."
Sengoku met his gaze with an unwavering confidence. "Roger is the Pirate King, not you."
Shiki's anger flared, his fists clenching tightly around his blades. "If he'd just lent me a hand, we could have ruled the world together! If he's here, let me see him. If he's going to die, I will be the one to kill him!"
"No," Sengoku replied calmly. "The execution will take place in his hometown—the town of beginnings in East Blue, Loguetown."
Shiki sneered, finding the irony too much to bear. "The legend of the Pirate King will end in the weakest sea. That's your last insult, isn't it?"
Without warning, Shiki leaped into action, aiming for Sengoku and Garp with his deadly blades. Garp, seeing the attack coming, swiftly removed his navy coat, a glint of determination in his eyes. "Its weakness makes it a perfect place," he muttered, steeling himself for the onslaught.
Sengoku followed suit, discarding his coat as he positioned himself beside Garp. "We will not let you interfere with the execution," he declared, his voice carrying authority.
The battle ignited, fierce and frantic. Shiki's formidable power clashed against the combined might of the two legendary figures. Blades met fists, and the very ground trembled under the weight of their conflict. The chaos of the battlefield echoed with clashing steel and shouts of battle.
Despite Shiki's ruthless strength and relentless attacks, Garp and Sengoku's teamwork proved to be a formidable defense. They dodged, countered, and retaliated, their resolve unwavering.
With a final blow, Sengoku's massive fist connected with Shiki's chin, sending the Golden Lion flying back, crashing down amidst the wreckage of his own making. Garp seized the moment, unleashing a powerful punch, shouting, "You won't get anywhere near him!"
The impact was devastating. Shiki's reign of terror came to an abrupt end at Marineford, where the once-proud Golden Lion fell, defeated and lifeless.
As silence descended, Sengoku and Garp exchanged glances, the weight of their victory heavy upon them. The world may have witnessed the fall of one notorious pirate, but the waves of change were only just beginning to stir. Little did they know that soon, a new force would rise to challenge their notions of power and freedom in the seas.
20 Years later
The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm glow over the vast expanse of the East Blue. A small boat bobbed gently on the waves, its sails fluttering in the soft breeze. Onboard, a striking young girl stood at the helm, her vibrant green eyes locked on the horizon. Dracul D. Luffia, a fierce 17-year-old with a spirit as unyielding as the sea itself, was well on her way to becoming the King of Pirates.
Ten years had passed since that day that changed her life forever. Fueled by the tragic loss of her adoptive brother, Sabo, at the hands of a World Noble, Luffia had unleashed the true potential of her Devil Fruit powers—the Float-Float Fruit—revealing a strength and determination that few could rival. Her grandfather, Monkey D. Garp, had used all his influence to cover up the incident, ensuring Luffia's safety. Yet, the weight of that night never truly left her.
For her security, Garp entrusted Luffia to her uncle, Dracule Mihawk, the best swordsman in the world. Under his rigorous training, she honed her skills, mastering all three forms of Haki and becoming an unparalleled swordswoman known for her lethal grace. At a young age, she claimed her place as the unofficial title of third strongest sword fighter in the world, proving herself worthy of the Dracule name—the legacy of strength and skill.
Though Luffia's mother, Dracul Serana, had died giving birth to her, Luffia often felt her presence guiding her as she embarked on this new chapter of her journey. Today, she was heading to Dawn Island, eager to visit an old friend and finally square her bar bill from all those nights of laughter and camaraderie.
As the boat glided smoothly over the waves, Luffia grasped the hilt of her legendary katana, Kurogiri, which hung at her side. The black blade gleamed ominously in the sunlight, a reminder of both her past and her future. With each breath, she felt the weight of her ambition. She was determined to forge her own path, to carve out her destiny in the unpredictable world of piracy.
"Just a little further," she murmured to herself, her lips curling into a confident smile. A mix of excitement and nostalgia swirled within her as she thought about the friends waiting for her on the island. Luffia had no idea what adventures awaited her, but with her heart set on becoming the King of Pirates, she was ready to face whatever obstacles lay ahead.
As the familiar silhouette of Dawn Island emerged on the horizon, Luffia's eyes sparkled with determination. This was only the beginning of her grand adventure. With her unwavering spirit and the legacy of the Dracules behind her, she was set to make her mark on the world. The King of Pirates would rise again, and Dracul D. Luffia was determined to be at the helm of that ship.
As Dracul D. Luffia stepped off her small boat at the docks of Fusha Village, nostalgia washed over her like the warm breeze that swept across the vibrant landscape. The quaint town had always held special memories for her, and despite the passing years, it looked just as she remembered. A smile spread across her face as she took in the familiar sights and sounds of the bustling village.
"This place hasn't changed a bit," she mused, making her way through the streets. Luffia's confident strides caught the attention of the villagers, and she felt the heat of their gazes upon her. The men watched her with admiration, their eyes gleaming with interest. Luffia couldn't help but roll her eyes internally.
"Oh man, these perverts are barking up the wrong tree," she thought, a fire igniting within her. "I don't like guys; I like girls, for fuck's sake!" With a chuckle, Luffia pushed those thoughts aside and continued her journey toward the Party Bar, a beloved local tavern that had hosted countless memories.
As she entered the bar, warmth and laughter flooded her senses, wrapping around her like a comforting cloak. She could almost hear echoes of the past; the nights she spent with friends, the tales shared, and the promises made. The familiar scent of her favorite drinks and the sizzle of food being prepared in the kitchen momentarily distracted her, but then the weight of the past hit her like a wave.
Her heart raced as she recalled the moment she met Shanks—the man who had given her the Straw Hat and sacrificed his arm for her safety. The promise she made to become someone worthy of wearing it surged through her memories, fueling her resolve.
"Hey! How about some service?" Luffia called out, a playful smirk on her lips as she sauntered into the bar, her straw hat tipped at a rakish angle. The lively conversations and laughter coming from the patrons quieted momentarily as heads turned to see who had made their entrance.
As she stood at the bar, she caught sight of a familiar figure emerging from the kitchen—Makino, her dear friend and the heart of the Party Bar. The cheerful woman's eyes widened in recognition, and before Luffia knew it, tears brimmed in Makino's eyes as joy spread across her features.
"Luffia!" Makino exclaimed, her voice thick with emotion. She rushed around the bar, embracing Luffia tightly. "I can't believe it's you!"
Luffia chuckled, raising her straw hat with a grin. "Hey, Makino! Long time no see!"
As they pulled apart, Luffia's heart swelled at the sight of her friend—the woman who had stood by her through thick and thin. The bar was filled with their laughter, and the atmosphere brightened as Makino ushered Luffia to a table in the back, eager to catch up.
"Everyone's going to be thrilled to see you! We've missed you so much!" Makino continued, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
As Luffia settled into her seat with her medium-rare steak and a glass of rich red wine, she felt a comforting sense of belonging wash over her. The familiar ambiance of the Party Bar and the presence of her dear friend, Makino, were a balm to her soul. The two chatted easily, laughter mingling with the clinking of glasses and the hum of happy voices around them.
Eventually, the conversation turned serious, and Luffia couldn't help but share her journey. "You know, I changed my name from Monkey D. Luffia to Dracul D. Luffia," she said, looking Makino in the eye. There was a weight behind her words, and she continued, "I did it to honor my mother. Mihawk has been more of a family to me than Garp ever was, although the old man visits from time to time."
Makino nodded, a mix of surprise and understanding reflected on her face. "That's quite significant. I can see how important this is to you," she replied softly.
Luffia smiled, appreciating her friend's support. "I also want to show you something." With a flourish, she revealed Kurogiri, her legendary katana, its black blade glinting in the dim bar light. "Mom had this forged for me before I was born. It carries a legacy I want to uphold."
As Makino studied the sword with wide eyes, she took a moment to fully grasp its importance. "It's beautiful," she marveled. "I can see why it means so much to you."
Feeling a surge of gratitude, Luffia reached for her backpack and tossed it across the table toward Makino. "Here, this is for you," she said, her smile bright.
Makino caught the bag, opening it with curiosity. As she peered inside, her jaw dropped in shock. The bag was filled with blood-red rubies, gleaming like the setting sun. "Are you sure about this? This has to be worth a king's fortune!" she exclaimed, eyes wide.
Luffia chuckled, waving her hand dismissively. "It's for my tab, of course, but the rest is for you, Makino. You've always been there for me. You treated my injuries, fed me, and gave me a place to sleep while I trained with Gramps. Consider this a small payment for your kindness."
Overcome with emotion, Makino placed her hands over her heart, tears shimmering in her eyes. "Luffia, you didn't have to do this. Just seeing you again is more than enough," she said, her voice steady but warm.
"Still, it's important to me," Luffia replied, sincerity shining in her gaze. "And if I could stay here for the night, I would really appreciate it."
Makino wasted no time. She stood up and enveloped Luffia in a heartfelt hug, holding her tightly. "Of course! No problem at all. You're always welcome here," she said, her voice muffled against Luffia's shoulder.
As they embraced, Luffia felt a surge of warmth and belonging she had longed for during her travels. The bond between them was strong, forged not just by shared memories but by enduring loyalty and affection.
When they finally pulled apart, Luffia felt lighter. She looked at Makino with a grin, feeling the excitement for the adventures . "Let's celebrate tonight! I'm back, and I have stories to tell!"
Makino chuckled, wiping away a stray tear. "I can't wait to hear them. Just promise me you'll stay safe out there."
"I've missed this place," Luffia replied, glancing around the bar and feeling the warmth of cherished memories enveloping her. As she settled in, she glanced around, eager to reconnect with familiar faces and share the tales of her adventures. But one question lingered in her mind: how would they react to her journey and the fiery determination that now fueled her heart?
As Luffia shared her adventures with the villagers gathered at the Party Bar, the atmosphere was electric with excitement and joy. The entire village had turned up to celebrate her return, eager to hear tales of her travels and the remarkable growth she had experienced over the years.
Makino, beaming with pride, couldn't help but compliment Luffia. "You've become so beautiful!" she exclaimed, gesturing toward the handful of boys and men who were staring at Luffia with hearts in their eyes.
Luffia rolled her eyes playfully, a teasing smile on her lips. "Hey, perverts! I don't like guys; I prefer girls!" Her bold statement rang out, leaving Makino and Mayor Wood slap slack-jawed with wide eyes.
The men who had been gazing at her were left deflated, some crying out, "Why, God? This is so unfair!" The room erupted in laughter at their misfortune, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
As the festivities continued, Luffia regaled the crowd with stories from her past, explaining the incredible experiences she had while traveling with Mihawk.
"I even got to attend a meeting of the Warlords at Marineford! You won't believe who I made friends with—Boa Hancock and Jinbe!"
The collective gasp from the audience showed just how envious the men were, murmuring amongst themselves about Luffia's impressive connections. "It's not fair!" one of them voiced, earning another round of laughter from the women, who were more than entertained by the spectacle.
Luffia laughed, knowing exactly how they felt. "Right? And that's not all. Hancock became like an older sister to me and made me an honorary Kuja!" The villagers cheered, her words amplifying their admiration for her bravery and strength.
The party carried on late into the night, filled with memories and laughter, creating a tapestry of joy that Luffia would carry in her heart. But as dawn broke, she knew it was time to continue her journey.
At the dock, she took a moment to soak in the familiar surroundings, the memories flooding back. "Goodbye, everyone! I'll be back soon!" she shouted, waving enthusiastically as the villagers returned her farewells with cheers and well wishes.
As her ship moved a few miles from the coast, an unexpected commotion erupted beneath the surface—suddenly, the massive Sea King that had once bitten off Shanks' arm surged from the depths, looming ominously in front of her vessel. Panic ensued among the villagers who witnessed the scene unfold from the docks, dread written across their faces as they feared for Luffia's safety.
Her straw hat casting a shadow over her eyes, Luffia smiled, unfazed by the monstrous creature. "Oh, there you are! I was hoping you'd show up!" she called out, her voice steady and confident.
The Sea King charged toward her, but Luffia was ready. In a graceful movement, she drew Kurogiri from her side. With one fierce swipe, she decapitated the gargantuan creature, its lifeless body crashing into the water and sending up a splash.
The villagers were left wide-eyed, their astonishment evident as they witnessed Luffia's tremendous skill. Without hesitation, she used her Float-Float Fruit powers to lift the massive Sea King from the ocean, effortlessly placing it onto the dock of Fusha Village.
"Here! This guy will be enough food for three weeks. Take care with that," she called back to them, a triumphant grin on her face.
With that, Luffia waved once more at the stunned villagers as she sailed off into the horizon. The sun was rising, casting golden hues across the water, and Luffia felt the thrill of adventure course through her veins. She was ready for whatever awaited her next, a determined spirit and strong bonds anchoring her heart. Adventure was on the horizon, and Luffia would embrace it fully, forging her path as the future King of Pirates.
A couple of hours later, Luffia awoke with a start, her eyes narrowing as she took in her surroundings. The gentle rocking of her boat had changed to a more chaotic lurching, and her heart sank as she spotted the ominous whirlpools forming in the water ahead.
"Oh shit! Must have gotten off course. No trouble, no trouble!" she exclaimed, panic trying to rise within her. Quickly, she called upon her Float-Float Fruit powers, lifting her small boat into the sky and maneuvering it away from the dangerous currents below. "Phew! That was close! I might be more powerful than anything in this sea or the first part of the Grand Line, but I still can't swim," she reprimanded herself.
As she hovered in the air, her stomach growled loudly, reminding her of her growing hunger. "Man, I am hungry!" she grumbled, tapping into her Observation Haki. It didn't take long for her to pinpoint what she was looking for—a ship nearby. "Excellent," she said to herself, focusing on the auras on board. "It's some kind of civilian ship."
With renewed determination, Luffia propelled herself and her small boat through the air in the direction of the ship. As she approached, another ship came into view, moving toward the same destination. She grinned widely. "Well, looks like some weak pirates are heading in the direction of that ship. Perfect! First, some food, and then some exercise. Although I think this could classify as a little warm-up. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers!"
Carefully, she landed near the civilian ship and confidently approached the deck. Upon stepping onto the polished surface, she saw that it was a luxurious cruise ship, bustling with guests who looked up in shock at the girl who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. The crew members froze, eyes wide and unsure of what to make of her sudden arrival.
The captain of the vessel, a stout but imposing figure, strode forward, eyebrows knitted in concern. "This is a private ship!" he exclaimed, his voice a blend of authority and surprise.
Luffia met his gaze with a charming smile, unfazed by the captain's demeanor. Without hesitation, she pulled out a thick stack of cash from her backpack, handing it to him. "Will this be enough for a ticket?" she asked, her voice light-hearted and casual.
The captain, rather taken aback, blinked at the wad of cash in her hands. He hesitated for just a moment before nodding, a smile creeping onto his face. "Of course, my lady! Welcome aboard!" he exclaimed, accepting the payment with a mixture of reverence and excitement.
As she stepped further onto the ship, Luffia felt a sense of satisfaction wash over her. She looked around at the beautifully decorated deck filled with joyous passengers sipping colorful cocktails and enjoying the sunny weather. She could almost hear the whispers of awe about her sudden appearance.
"Time to enjoy some food," she thought, her stomach growling once more as she made her way toward the dining area. But even as she prepared to feast, her instincts remained sharp.
As Luffia polished off her meal—four hearty steaks that had left her satisfied—she felt invigorated and ready for the rest of her day. Getting up from the table, she made her way to the bar, eager for a drink to complement her feast. "One glass of your finest wine, please," she ordered, leaning casually against the bar and watching the lively atmosphere around her.
As she sipped her drink, her gaze caught on a girl with striking orange hair. Something felt off about her, and Luffia's instincts kicked in. Activating her Observation Haki, she honed in on the girl, quickly picking up on her intentions. Her suspicions were confirmed when a male guest approached the girl with a drink in hand and started chatting her up. Luffia watched closely as the orange-haired girl deftly pickpocketed him, slipping his wallet into her own pocket with remarkable skill.
"Oh, looks like we've got a little pickpocket here," Luffia grinned, amusement dancing in her emerald eyes. Setting down her drink, she made her way toward the girl, who was now sitting alone once more, a sense of urgency tugging at her conscience.
Luffia placed her backpack on the ground, leaning casually on the bar beside the girl. "Nice move, cutie."
The girl's eyes widened in panic as she looked at Luffia, flustered. "What do you mean?"
"Oh, come on, cutie," Luffia said with an easy smile. "I saw you taking that idiot's wallet. What's your name?"
Just as the girl seemed about to respond, the tranquility of the cruise ship was ruptured when a sailor burst in, breathless and alarmed. "Pirates!" he shouted, causing a wave of panic to wash over the guests in the dining hall. Shouts and gasps erupted as the crowd sprang into action, seeking cover or running toward exits.
Luffia's smile evaporated as she turned to the girl, her tone shifting to a teasing yet sincere glint. "Oh, what a shame! Looks like we'll have to continue our talk another time," she said.
Downing the last of her wine in one swift motion, Luffia grabbed her backpack and moved toward the door. A thrill coursed through her at the mention of pirates. "Man, this girl is hella cute," she thought, the idea of forming a connection lingering in the back of her mind. For now, though, her attention shifted, and she braced herself for whatever was about to unfold.
"Let's see what these pirates are up to," she said to herself, determination filling her veins. With her senses heightened, Luffia stepped through the door, ready to face any danger that awaited her, the thrill of battle igniting her spirit. She knew that no matter what happened, she was more than capable of handling herself.
Luffia stepped outside, her gaze immediately drawn to the ugliest ship she had ever laid eyes on. It was a garish pink, complete with a duck figurehead that made her cringe. "What is this monstrosity?" she murmured in disbelief. But instead of simply slicing the ship in half, a mischievous glint sparked in her eyes. She decided to have some fun and let her prey come to her.
Returning to the dining hall of the cruise ship, Luffia sat back down. While the passengers panicked, she calmly sipped her glass of wine, waiting for the pirates to make their move. The sound of heavy footsteps echoed through the hall, and she could hear the raucous laughter and shouts of the intruders as they barged in.
"It's showtime," Luffia thought, smirking to herself.
The pirates stormed the dining area, chaos unfolding as they began robbing the frightened passengers. But Luffia remained composed, a picture of calm amid the turmoil. One particularly bold pirate approached her, swaggering with confidence. "Hey, you're pretty! Come on, give me your valuables," he sneered, clutching his threateningly.
Without breaking her gaze, she took a leisurely sip of her wine and replied in a cold tone, "You first, tough guy."
With that, Luffia activated her Float-Float Fruit powers. Instantly, all the pirates began floating in the air, their expressions shifting from bravado to panic. With a flick of her arm, she launched them through the wall and back onto their own ship, watching with a satisfied grin. "That was no fun," she muttered. "But I see there are some more in the storage room below. Might as well clear out the trash."
Standing up, Luffia made her way down to the storage area, where she spotted three pirates surrounding a small boy with pink hair and glasses, bullying him mercilessly. Anger flared inside her, and she couldn't let it slide. "Hey, shitheads! Pick on someone your size!" she shouted, her voice cutting through the tension.
The three pirates, along with the boy, turned to her, surprise etched on their faces. "Hey, pretty girl! What are you doing here?" one of them sneered, trying to assert his dominance.
Luffia smiled coldly. "Just taking out the trash." She then activated her powers again, using them to snatch their swords from their sides. The three pirates looked on in horror as their weapons were lifted into the air and pointed at them.
"Bye-bye," she said with a chilling smile, and in an instant, the blades shot toward them, piercing their bodies with deadly accuracy. The silence that followed was deafening, the once-boisterous pirates gone in mere moments.
The boy, now utterly terrified, stared wide-eyed at Luffia as she approached. "Please, miss, don't kill me!" he pleaded, panic evident in his voice.
Luffia paused, her expression softening slightly. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. My name is Luffia," she said gently.
The boy blinked, still trembling, and responded in a frightened tone, "Coby, ma'am."
"Coby, huh?" Luffia replied, kneeling down to his eye level. "What are you doing here all alone?"
As Luffia listened to Coby's story, she couldn't help but feel a pang of empathy for the boy. He shared how he had been an orphan, struggling to get by on his own, and how he had inadvertently boarded Alvida's ship thinking it was a fishing boat. The recollection was laced with both embarrassment and frustration, and Luffia couldn't help but chuckle at the comedic misfortune of it all.
"Really? You thought it was a fishing boat?" she laughed, shaking her head. Coby's downcast expression only deepened, making him look comically depressed, which made Luffia giggle even more.
Seeing his face fall, Luffia decided to lighten the mood. "You know, I intend to be the King of Pirates!" she proclaimed excitedly, her voice full of determination.
Coby's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's impossible! You can't be!" he protested, shaking his head fervently.
In response, Luffia playfully thumped him on the head with a fist of love, the gesture surprisingly gentle but firm. "Hey! It's my dream, pipsqueak, and I intend to do it! Don't you have a dream of your own?"
Coby looked up at her, determination flaring in his eyes as he responded, "I want to be a Marine! I want to protect people and arrest scumbags like Alvida!"
Luffia smiled brightly, leaning in closer. "Everything is possible, Coby! You just have to believe in yourself."
As she finished her words, she noticed that Coby's face had turned bright red. She had leaned in a bit too close, and his gaze was fixated awkwardly on her chest. Her expression shifted from encouragement to annoyance in an instant.
"Hey! Eyes up here!" she snapped, reacting instinctively. Luffia slapped Coby lightly on the back of the head, causing him to stumble back and fall to the ground in surprise.
Coby rubbed the back of his head, a sheepish grin appearing on his face. " I will become a Marine, and I'll arrest scumbags like Alvida!"
Just then, the ceiling shuddered, and a massive figure came crashing through, landing right in front of them. Dust and debris flew everywhere, and Luffia instinctively put herself protectively in front of Coby. The formidable silhouette of Alvida loomed over them, wielding her giant mace with a fierce expression.
"Who are you going to arrest, Coby?" Alvida sneered, her eyes narrowing as she spotted him.
Alvida's laughter echoed through the room, a cruel sound that reverberated off the walls. "You think you can take me down, little boy?" She turned her menacing gaze toward Luffia. "And who's this little brat? Do you really think you stand a chance against me?"
Luffia smirked, unfazed by Alvida's intimidating demeanor. She met the pirate captain's gaze with confidence, her fists clenched. "You should be careful who you challenge. You might not like the result."
Alvida glared at Luffia, fury radiating from her as she took in the sight of her fallen men. "Did you do this, girl?" she demanded, her voice low and seething.
"Yeah," Luffia replied with nonchalance. "And if the rest of your crew doesn't want to join them, I suggest you get lost."
Fuming with rage, Alvida turned her attention to Coby, her expression turning menacing. But before she could speak, Luffia interjected, leaning toward Coby with a smirk. "Hey, Coby, who is this fat ass?"
Coby froze, wide-eyed. "Luffia, are you crazy? She's very sensitive about that!"
Luffia shrugged, a playful glint in her eyes. "So, she is a walking pile of blubber!"
Alvida's irritation grew to a boiling point, and she swung her giant mace at Luffia, aiming to take her down. But Luffia was faster; she caught the mace easily in her hand with a confident smile. "Is that all, fat ass?" she mocked before activating her Devil Fruit powers.
With a flick of her wrist, she lifted Alvida and her crew into the air, watching as they flailed helplessly. "Have a nice flight!" she shouted, launching them far off into the distance, their cries fading quickly.
With the brawl behind her, Luffia noticed a marine ship approaching, its flags waving ominously in the wind. Quickly, she grabbed Coby, sensing something familiar nearby. To her surprise, her observation haki revealed the orange-haired girl from earlier, approaching on a small boat.
Jumping off her ship with Coby in tow, Luffia landed on the small boat, catching the girl off guard. "Hey, cutie! Miss me?" Luffia greeted, a playful smirk on her lips.
The marine ship, spotting them, assumed they were attacking the cruise ship and prepared to fire. "Coby, duck!" Luffia called out, pulling her sword from its sheath just in time. With a swift motion, she sliced the cannonballs in half as they flew toward them, letting the halves splinter harmlessly into the sea.
Coby and the girl stared wide-eyed, fear and disbelief painting their expressions. Luffia turned back to them, chuckling. "Oh, this is nothing. Watch this!" She swiftly flew toward the marine ship, her confidence soaring.
"SKY SLASH!" she shouted, unleashing her powerful attack. A massive green air blade soared through the air, slicing through the marine warship with ease, splitting it in half. The carnage was awe-inspiring and terrifying all at once, leaving Coby and the orange-haired girl in stunned silence.
Returning to the small boat, Luffia sheathed her sword, an impressed smile on her face. "Well, that was a fun workout! Oh, by the way, cutie, what is your name?"
The girl, pale as a ghost from the chaotic display, finally managed to speak, her voice trembling. "Nami!" she replied, still trying to process the whirlwind of events.
"Nice to meet you, Nami!" Luffia said cheerfully
