Piccolo stood on top of a mountain overlooking a forest. Piccolo was very green, bald & tall with a solid facial structure (lacking the large cheek bones and a humanly-shaped nose). Piccolo's outfit was a dark purplish blue gi and his obi was light pale blue, and he wore a white turban and an extremely weighted cape along with it when not fighting seriously. The warrior stood staring into the distance but not looking at anything. Piccolo was reliving his match at the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament. The anger from his defeat was still fresh in his mind as if his lose was that same day instead of yrs. ago. As a warrior he felt as thou he had no peer, but Goku was able to not only topple him but in a moment where the great Piccolo was weakened his enemy showed him mercy & compassion. Such concepts were foreign to him & in these past 5 years he still had no real understanding of Goku's actions. The hate & anger was so great that Piccolo didn't even notice that 4 enemies had approached until they were nearly on top of him.
The first one to reach him was much taller than him & his forearm was stuck out to crush Piccolo's head with a Lariat. Piccolo rolled with the blow instead of fighting it & only took minimal damage. As he picked his head up Piccolo saw two figures running towards him at top speed. Piccolo fired a ki blast but the figures dodged it then disappeared behind two rock formations. Piccolo's advanced senses picked up that his first opponent was charging from behind & he turned to meet his foe head on. That was all that a 4th opponent who Piccolo never even sensed needed to fire a massive energy blast that struck him in the back. The blast knocked Piccolo into the air & his first opponent increased the speed of his charge & with a swinging double axe handle knocked Piccolo up in the air. This left Piccolo vulnerable to twin energy blasts from the two figures that had disappeared earlier. Piccolo struggled to pick himself off the ground ready for another altercation but before he could he found himself staring up at a Combined Full Power Energy Ball, the attack left a crater that none could see the bottom of. Just in case Piccolo was able to survive the group fired one last ki barrage down into the pit they had created. With satisfied smiles on their faces they left doubting that even the great Piccolo could survive such an onslaught.
In the woods sat a dome house far away from any of the cities or bright lights. In the house lived a small peaceful family named the Sons. At that time the four year old Gohan was outside playing in the yard while his mother Chi-Chi was taking in the last load of laundry. Chi-Chi's primary clothing was a purple dress that has an orange cloth tied on the top and a yellow sash. Chi-Chi's hair was tied in a bun but she still had her hair coming down on the sides. Gohan had black hair and black eyes; he also has his mother's light peach complexion, rather than his father's light tan. Gohan also is quite muscularly developed for his age. He wore a child's outfit with his family name, 'Son' written on the front, and his hat has the Four-Star Dragon Ball attached to it, the same Dragon Ball in which Goku believed that his grandpa's spirit resided. Gohan's father Goku was tasked with bringing home diner for the night from the river. Goku spent his entire life living in the woods and loved to spend his free time either training outside or hunting. Goku decided that dinner tonight would be fish because it gave him a chance to swim & get dinner all in one activity.
Goku was fairly tall & muscular with spiky black hair and his trademark orange/red/golden and blue clothes. Goku remembered how as a kid he would use his tail for bait then get the fishes as they tried to bite him, but now that his tail was gone Goku used the more direct method of stripping down & diving in. Thou it was cold Goku enjoyed playing with the fishes until he found a few big enough to feed him & his family. As Goku swam Gohan was chasing a butterfly around the yard. The boy made sure to stay close to the house since he knew that if he strayed too far his mother would panic. She had the habit of always worrying about everything so Gohan did what his father was incapable of doing & he played it safe for his mother's sake. Even though Gohan was only four he was very intelligent & his mother began homeschooling him as soon as she realized he could talk. Over the valley came a hover car that was leaning to the driver's side so much Gohan thought it would tip over. In the car sat Chi-Chi's father the Ox King. Ox King was quite large, and had a lot of facial hair. Ox King was the king of Fire Mountain & after wreaking havoc for years he was convinced by a very young Goku & Master Roshi to become a peaceful king & has since been one of the greatest kings in Fire Mountain history. Ox King stepped out of the car with a cheerful yell. Both Gohan & Chi-Chi began to walk toward the giant man but stopped short when his smile turned into a look of pure pain. Behind him stood a being with a skull-like nose which gave him the appearance of a vampire bat. He had dark olive skin and red eyes, and was wearing a large dark cloak. On Ox King's back was a burn mark from the energy blast the figure fired. Gohan immediately went into a panic yelling & running towards his mother. Chi-Chi told Gohan to head for the door while she took off her apron to fight. She knew that there was no way she could win but she would die before she let anyone harm her family. Chi-Chi prepared to go on the offensive, but stopped short when she heard Gohan scream her name louder.
Gohan was running full speed towards the door when he spotted a giant standing on top of the door frame looking down at him. This pushed Gohan's panic into overdrive & he fell out on the ground screaming to scared to even run away. Chi-Chi glanced back & saw the situation then noticed that there was another figure coming out of her house. The figure was tall, thin, white haired & blue. He came out the house throwing whole apples in his mouth. As his mouth opened you could see long fang instead of teeth. The one on top of the door was large, grey & muscular with long red-purple sideburns. As Chi-Chi grasped the situation the figure behind Ox King charged at high speed. Chi-Chi met his charge with a charge of her own. As she sped towards him her feet left the ground & she glided past him. Chi-Chi spun around & went for a high kick at the figures head which he dodged. As soon as her feet touched the ground Chi-Chi kicked again. The figure caught her foot & tossed the woman to the side. Ox King picked himself off the ground & saw his daughter get tossed across the yard. Ox King ignored the pain in his body & charged at figure at full speed. Before Ox King reached him thou the figured jumped off the roof and landed a massive elbow across the man's back. Ox King fell to the ground unconscious while Chi-Chi was finally able to stand up. The figure saw the charging woman and disappeared. When the figure reappeared he was behind her & struck her in the back of her neck rendering her unconscious.
Goku was still swimming when he felt a chill in the air. At first he thought that he was cold from swimming naked all this time, but it was more internal than external. Suddenly Goku realized that it was his link with Chi-Chi. Ever since they got married Goku has always possessed a special connection with her that allowed him to feel what she felt & even experience her dreams. This time though all Goku felt was pure pain & fear as if he was staring at the devil himself. Goku jumped out of the stream & grabbed the clothes he had left on shore. By the time he had gotten home he was fully dressed searching for his wife & son. Goku found Chi-Chi & Ox King passed out on the ground near the house. Even though they were obviously hurt none of the injuries appeared to be fatal. Goku cradled his wife & gently woke her up while trying to sense his son. Chi-Chi looked up at Goku. "They took Gohan" she said in between breathes. "Where" Goku nearly screamed, but she passed out in his arms again.
Goku carried his wife & father-in-law into the house then headed towards Turtle Island to meet with his friends Krillin, Bulma & his teacher Master Roshi. On the island Goku sat with a cup of tea while Krillin nursed a cup of coffee. Bulma had brought over the Dragon radar so that they could track down the dragonball on Gohan's hat. Bulma was making a few maintenance repairs due to the radar not being used in a long time. She was amazed at how much the boy she found as a child had grown into such a strong, handsome & responsible man. He was a far cry from the ignorant child but was still innocent in many ways. "How are you holding up Son" asked Master Roshi who had just walked out the kitchen with his own drink. Goku stared at the floor knees shaking, No one was even sure that he heard the old master. Krillin looked over to Bulma & asked "how is the radar coming I know you've just arrived but Goku looks like he's about to bust.
Bulma glanced in Goku's direction & was honestly hoping to prolong the repairs so that Goku had a minute to relax, but he was even more agitated then when she first arrived. Bulma closed the device & turned it on. Her gasp drew the attention of everyone in the room. "There is a large cluster of dragonballs in the middle of the ocean & the remaining three are inbound, I can't believe someone found them all without a radar. Goku looked at the radar then snatched it before anyone could stop him. Goku ran out of the house & called for his Flying Nimbus then waited for the cloud to descend. As he stood there Krillin ran up behind him "What are you going to do, whoever these guys are they are dangerous maybe you should hold on a minute". Goku never turned around he simply stated "These people hurt my family & took my son I won't wait & no matter how dangerous they are I will face them". With that Goku jumped onto Nimbus & disappeared into the sky leaving Krillin, Bulma & Master Roshi to watch him.
After flying for what seemed like hours, Goku came upon an island settled in the middle of the ocean. As Goku got closer he saw the sky turn dark and began to sense the high level of mystical energy associated with the summoning of the great dragon Shenron. A beam of gold light shot forth from the ground and began to take shape. Goku looked on as the beam changed into the great dragon. Shenron is shown with the horns of a stag, sharp teeth, green scaly skin, red eyes, four toes on each foot, a long serpentine body (his tail takes up three-fourths of his length), long flowing whiskers, a long snout, crescent shaped nostrils, and flowing green hair on his cheeks. He is an Eastern dragon, whose kind are benevolent and sacred in Oriental mythologies. Unlike the Western dragons, which have large dorsal foldable wings on their backs, he has none. Goku noted to himself that Shenron is good at heart, but as a strong dragon, he has an aggressive temper, and is impatient sometimes. As Goku travelled to the island he began to make out layout of the area. Garlic Jr.'s fortress possessed a garden, a fruit tree, a cuckoo clock and a story with a balcony. Goku was surprised at the size of the island and began to wonder where he would begin to look for Gohan.
The pale blue Makyan Nicky looked on as the small boy began to wander and stumble around the main area of the fortress. The boy had found himself hungry and without thinking grabbed an apple off of the tree within the courtyard and was now suffering from uncontrollable delusions. A normal human would have simply been driven insane and died, but this boy truly was something else. It was no wonder that Garlic Jr had declared the boy heir to his throne and vowed to train the boy to be a worthy and powerful successor. Nicky vividly remembered how the boy cried and cowed before the presence of Garlic Jr. The boy had been reduced to a whimpering child under his gaze, but out of nowhere the boy began to stand. The presence felt off the boy was unimaginable. Even Garlic Jr recognized something. The boy stood defiantly fear ever present, but within the trembling figure a small ounce of courage was beginning to show. "You're nothing but a bully. I'm not scared of you and one day my daddy will come and beat you up." Garlic Jr smiled at the boy, but never let his gaze ease. "Who is your father boy, I am sure that he will die just like that pathetic cow who was slaughtered trying to defend you". "She's not dead" Gohan screamed as tears began to run down his cheeks. The boy's aura began to create a type of pressure that even the trained Makyan were feeling. Garlic Jr's smile disappeared and he began to truly sense what the boy was capable of. Then almost as quickly as the power came, it faded. Returned was the whimpering child crying for his father. "Who is he" Garlic Jr asked again. "Courage once again showed on his face as he said "Goku, the most powerful fighter in the world. The only one as strong as him is the demon Piccolo".
The large Makyan Sansho strode forward laughing as he towered over the boy. To add to the suspense Vinegar the large purple Makyan stood next to his towering partner. This game was usually reserved to intimidate the most powerful of opponents, but this boy possessed a power that they all knew had to be kept at bay. "Piccolo is dead boy" Sansho stated. "We didn't even break a sweat as we crushed that fool into the Earth" Vinegar added. Gohan felt his entire life crash and the fear of what these monsters were capable of sent the boy into another screaming frenzy. "Nicky" Garlic Jr stated, watch over the boy it is time to summon the dragon. Now here he was missing the summoning for some kid. There was a huge crash that alerted Nicky to the fact that he had been daydreaming to long. The child was nowhere to be seen, but there was a path of destroyed items that the boy knocked over in his madness.
As Goku reached the island he saw the great dragon glow and then disperse, he didn't know what the wish was and he didn't really care. All that mattered was saving Gohan and destroying the person who dared to attack his family. Goku leaped off of Nimbus and landed in the center of the courtyard. Garlic Jr was on his way back inside to check on his newest member when Goku landed. Immediately Goku said "Where's Gohan". Garlic Jr merely looked at the man not willing to belittle himself as to speak to him. Spice walked towards the man with a smirk on his face while allowing his fangs to show. Goku never retreated even as the Makyan came face to face with him. "I'm sorry that you wasted this trip for nothing". "So Gohan's not here" Goku asked"? "No you misunderstand, he is here Goku but I am afraid you're going to die long before you ever get to see your son. Goku didn't flinch at the threat he instead prepared to speed past everyone and head inside of the fortress. Garlic Jr prepared to fight, but at that moment a bright light appeared in the sky and landed next to Goku scattering debris and leaving a small dent in the foundation. When the dust settled Kami stood next to Goku, staring directly into the face of Garlic Jr.
Goku was surprised to see the guardian here, but it did little to distract him from his original objective. "I'm here to stop you" stated Kami "You are nothing more that the evil coward your father was". As Kami & Garlic Jr argued Goku took this moment to look for Gohan. Without taking his eyes off of Kami, Garlic Jr sent the Spice Boys after Goku. Garlic Jr knew that there was no way Goku could be allowed to reunite with his son. That kind of power belonging to anyone but him was too dangerous to ignore.
Goku made it as far as the main area before Nicky, Ginger & Sansho caught up to him. Goku momentarily entertained the notion to go past them but that idea faded when the three hallways in front of him were covered by Mustard, Salt & Vinegar. Even the entrance behind him was cut off by Spice. Goku found himself surrounded on all sides, but not once did he ever think of retreating. Spice took a few steps towards Goku drawing his attention. While he knew that there was a strong chance they all would attack, Spice was the current threat that was approaching him. "No more words needed" was the only thing that Spice said before he broke into a charge at Goku. Goku prepared himself for the worst, but the attack never reached him. Spice was pulling his arm back to strike when he was struck in the face with an energy blast knocking him into the wall. Goku followed the source of the blast and saw Krillin standing in an entry way with his arm outstretched. Goku noticed that through that same entry way Yamcha, Tien & Chiatzou all walked into the main area. Krillin kept his right arm pointed towards Spice as they moved towards Goku. Yamcha had his hands behind his head with a large smile on his face. Tien used his eyes to assess the physical abilities of each fighter. Chiatzou merely floated with a look of fear on his face. Even the smallest of the enemies stood taller than him. The tallest one's ankles were at his height.
Kami saw the fighters enter into the fortress and thanked God that Goku would have some help. Kami knew how powerful the Makyan's could be, thankfully the Makyo Star was still a ways off. Kami knew of no force that could contend with a fully powered Makyan Demon. Kami sensed that Garlic Jr's energy level was beginning to rise. Without hesitation Kami used his Explosive Guardian Wave Attack which was a very powerful energy wave shot from a single hand, with the other arm supporting the one that is firing the attack. When Kami's alter ego King Piccolo used the attack he wiped out all of Eastern City. Once the dust cleared Garlic Jr stood in the midst of a crater with his arms stretched over his face. A small smirk crept to his lips as he pronounced that Kami was now only useful for kicking up dust and minor landscaping. Kami calmed his breathing and began to focus on raising his Guardian Aura. His natural aura made him a highly capable warrior, but his guardian aura required tremendous control and focus. Kami's normal green aura began to become tinted with white and blue sparks. After a minute his aura was pure white with green sparks that alternated with the blue ones. Kami repeated the same attack and Garlic Jr merely laughed. Kami's attack hit him dead center again except this time pain like fire burned through his aura & once the blast connected with his skin the impact could be felt down to his bones. "The guardian aura does not raise the guardian's power but makes it so that the user can accomplish many unique attacks and techniques. The power your father bestowed to Piccolo after we separated caused me to seek out a way to defeat him. Though I never had the courage to face that part of myself I can now use what I learned to conquer you." Kami stated as he focused more power into his right hand. Despite the pain Garlic Jr laughed "Use all the power you want, I'm immortal now. All you're gonna do is waste your power and when it's done I will slowly kill you. This time Kami smirked, Immortal does not mean invincible, everything dies Garlic only God controls how long we are allowed to walk this Earth." Both aura's flared and the battle commenced.
Goku pulled out his Power Pole Ruyi Jingu Bang & prepared for battle. "How in the world did you guys get here" Asked Goku. Krillin looked up at him and said "If you had waited you would have heard me say that as soon as you showed up we called everyone to come help you. They all showed up 10 minutes after you left and we just followed the energy trail and the general direction I saw on the Dragon Radar. Goku smiled at his luck, he really had good friends and now he was going to be able to not only save his son, but do it sooner. As all warriors began to prepare to fight an unusual sight came hurdling towards them. A reinforced hover car came crashing through the outside door way forcing everyone to dive in case the vehicle crushed them. All present looked on in shock as the side entrance to the vehicle began to strain and dent from the inside. "Just give it a minute you nut job and it will open by itself" yelled a voice. "Hurry up, you see these monsters God knows what they have done to my baby!" shrieked another voice. Before the doorway was half opened Chi-Chi jumped over the door frame. Chi-Chi landed with the Bansho Fan pointed directly at Ginger. With no warning she let loose with a hurricane tunnel that engulfed Ginger and blasted him through to the other wall. "Charging Mad Bull" was yelled from the inside of the hover car as Ox- King dressed in his battle armor came rushing out the doorway. As he neared Ginger Ox King was charging on all fours with a blood red aura surrounding him in the shape of a bull. The attack hit Ginger point blank and after the third repeated charge both Ginger and Ox King went crashing outside. Chi-Chi snatched the Ruyi Jingu Bang from Goku and summoned the Flying Nimbus to her side. With a battle cry she followed her father out the hole in the wall. Master Roshi slowly walked out the hole and looked toward Goku. "Don't worry I got'em" was all the old master said before he jumped to the patio below. Bulma peaked her head out and saw that she was in-between both groups. Vinegar strode forward with a grin on his face. "You know it's customary to enjoy the pleasure of a beast before one dies" stated Vinegar as he walked towards Bulma. Before he got within arms range of her Yamcha appeared. His face looked almost feral as he stared at Vinegar. Even though the size difference was extreme Yamcha looked more than ready to kill the one in front of him. "Move" is all Yamcha had to say and Bulma jumped in the hover car stepping on the gas. The car blasted through the hole in the wall then dropped. Yamcha moved for the save but was side blinded by Vinegar. The purple giant pulled Yamcha close and stated "As soon as you die she will make the perfect sex slave". Yamcha released a powerful kick that not only got him loose of Vinegar but launched him back to the other Makyan Demons. Vinegar twisted in midair and landed on his feet. He smiled while wiping blood from his lip. Not bad kid. As both sides once again began to charge a massive explosion split the floor apart. From the smoke came Piccolo. The green demon walked straight toward Sansho and put all his strength into a punch that carried the Makyan off the ground and then another punch put the beast through the wall. "I remember you" was all Piccolo stated. Not once did he look at anyone other than his opponent.
Goku ducked as Nicky came at him with his Katana Kogeki. Nicky attacked Goku with a longsword he pulled out from his leg. His swings were precise leaving Goku very little chance to attack. Goku hopped backwards out of the building with Nicky hot on his trail. With more room Goku was able to maneuver around Nicky and began to fight back. The blade snipped a few inches off of his hair, but Goku was more worried about the weird angles with which Nicky was attacking. The bones in his arms seemed to bend in unnatural positions, allowing him to put incredible amounts of power within each blow. Goku focused his ki into his hands. Once Nicky got close enough he used his aura covered hand to catch the blade. Everything stopped in Nicky's mind as he worked to comprehend what had just happened. Goku took that moment of hesitation to punch Nicky in the stomach causing him to double over. While kneeling down Nicky's body began to shimmer. From behind Nicky stood another Nicky and from behind that copy came another. Goku was now stunned as the Makyan Demon's smiled then attacked. The group circled Goku spinning around him, forming a vortex where they all attack while flying around, and then caught Goku slamming him into the ground. Goku got up slowly and watched as all three began to circle again. Once Nicky & his copies took to the air Goku followed suit attacking each one in succession. All three crashed into each other and laid there in a pile of limbs. Before they were able to react Goku released a Kamehameha Wave that engulfed the area. Goku watched as Nicky's smoking body went limp.
Krillin stared Spice in the face with an arrogant grin. Krillin knew his opponent was a lot stronger than him, but he didn't want the pale blue Makyan to notice. Krillin squatted down with his legs slightly beyond shoulder width apart and one of his palms pointed towards Spice. His other hand was pointed downward. Krillin planned to attack with his new Destructo Disk but feared his lack of control would do more harm than good. With his best option off the table Krillin ran through a few more techniques. Spice never smiled or blinked or flinched. Spice was a true warrior and he would not let the embarrassment he felt from the midget's earlier attack show. Spice did notice a slight shift in Krillin's posture and that was all the incentive he needed. Spice launched a full frontal attack on Krillin without hesitating. Spice's rush attack consisted of two kicks; Spice then flipped in the air and kicked Krillin hard in the face, inflicting a high amount of damage. Krillin went sailing across the room and crashed into a support pillar. Krillin ignored the pain and immediately rushed Spice charging in with a head-butt to the stomach. The attack made Spice move backwards a few inches but other than that the attack did nothing. Spice grabbed Krillin by the head and began to smash his knee into Krillin's face. After 5 shots Spice threw Krillin in the air and let him hit the ceiling. As Krillin fell he felt something wrap around his body. Krillin forced his swollen eyes open to see that Spice's hair had extended and wrapped around him. Spice used Krillin's momentum and smashed the small warrior through the solid stone floor down to the lower level. Spice flew down the hole with a smile on his face. Krillin once again found himself bound but this time it was a glowing red web of chi. The web wrapped around him and every part that touched his flesh began to burn. Spice pulled Krillin through the ceiling and attached the web to the wall. "Watch" was all Spice said before they turned around to witness the chaos.
Tien and Mustard clashed in the air with high speed attacks. Tien utilized his Machine Gun Punch technique swinging his arms so fast they appeared to be windmills on his shoulder and pummeled his opponent too many times to count. Each strike hit a pressure or weakness point which Tien was going to utilize to paralyze his opponent then kill him with his Dodon Ray. Instead Mustard smiled as Tien put all his effort and power into his pitiful hits. The attacks hurt but it wasn't in a Makyan's nature to reveal pain. Mustard knew that his endurance would outlast Tien's attacks and after that the three eyed fool was done, he would kill him. Tien floated away from Mustard and readied his Dodon Ray. Without warning Mustard rushed Tien and just before impact Tien saw Mustard's horns grow as they pierced through his flesh. Continuing his attack Tien fired his Dodon Ray point blank in Mustard's eye leaving the Makyan flailing around in pain. Both fighters crashed to the ground, but Mustard was the first to stand. Mustard charged at Tien but his new handicap altered his depth perception and Mustard missed. Tien took the chance to release a Solar Flare directly into Mustard's face blinding the tall warrior completely. Tien's third eye began to overflow with chi and Tien fired his eye laser directly through Mustard's forehead. With the last of his strength Mustard fired a mouth blast energy cannon firing Tien through the wall and out into the ocean.
Salt danced between Chiaotzu's Dodon Ray Barrage with great ease. Chiaotzu panicked internally as he watched the smile on Salt's face grow with each failed attempt. The short, red humanoid Makyan launched at Chiatzou with a flying kick causing the ground around them to buckle & the wall to begin to collapse. Chiatzou frantically dove out of the way rolling into a support pillar. Seeing the damage around him, Chiatzou used his telekinesis to lift the medium-sized to large boulders, tiles & debris from the ground nearby, and then threw them at Salt while pushing them with his psychic power. As the attack neared Salt began to laugh hysterically. Salt raised his hand & allowed a burning red aura to encompass him. Instantly Chiatzou felt the psionic energy burst from Salt as the attack stopped mid air. With no choice Chiatzou began to pour more psionic energy into his attack trying to overpower Salt. While Salt was mildly impressed by Chiatzou's power he knew that his reserves were far greater than his opponents. In Makyan fashion Salt decided to prolong his pleasure by slowly adding more power to his attack instead of outright destroying Chiatzou.
With this brief struggle Chiatzou used his telepathy to read Salt's mind. Remembering one of his lessons from Taopaipai to win at all costs, Chiatzou redirects his telekinesis to attack Salt's internal organs. The sudden shift causes Salt to unexpectedly release his hold on the attack in favor of attempting to stop his internal pain. Taking advantage of the situation Chiatzou releases the rest of his power to hit Salt with the debris crushing him against the wall & causing it to collapse on Salt. As Salt dug himself out of the rubble he glared at Chiatzou who was slumped against the wall. Salt had to acknowledge that his opponent was stronger than he gave him credit for, but he needed to die for the injuries he caused him. As Salt stumbled forward he never noticed a figure closing in on him until Tien kicked Salt up in the air, and then he kicked and puncheed him down again. Tien ended the attack with a diving knee attack to break Salt's neck, causing an extreme amount of damage to Salt & the ground below him.
Yamcha never realized the size difference between him & Vinegar until they were standing face to face. Vinegar was large & muscular with light purple skin, white horns, long pointed ears & long dark brown hair. Compared to Yamcha's 6ft frame the 8 possibly 9ft Makyan towered over Yamcha with the same predatory grin a lion would give a gazelle. Not to be intimidated Yamcha attempted his Wolf Hurricane which begins by Yamcha jumping above Vinegar, he then fell on Vinegar's face with his foot. Next, he delivered one punch at Vinegar's chest, jumped backwards, then sprang forward with another kick to his chin. Finally, Yamcha ended the technique with one major aura claw across Vinegar's body. This attack usually caused a lot of damage, but Vinegar never moved an inch. Instead, Vinegar increased his body's mass to absorb the damage. Like Mustard he would not give his opponent the pleasure of knowing that he caused him pain. Instead, Vinegar laughed & grabbed Yamcha by his throat. This began Vinegar's brutal assault as he punched Yamcha in the face multiple times. After 7 solid lows Vinegar threw Yamcha onto the floor planning to break his face against the stone. Yamcha instead channeled his energy into his arms allowing him to stop his decent before causing permanent damage. Yamcha focused his channeled energy into his palm & blasted Vinegar in the face. This caused him to let go & Yamcha rolled away. Not wanting to lose momentum Yamcha quickly attempted a Wolf Fang Fist, but Vinegar stopped his attack before he could strike a blow. Vinegar laughed as Yamcha struggled to get his right arm free. Once it was free Yamcha let his arm hang limp while Vinegar proceeded to headbutt him. As Vinegar brought his head down Yamcha brought his right hand up with an open palm & a yellow-orange energy sphere. Yamcha rammed the sphere into Vinegar's mouth causing the Makyan to let him go. As Vinegar grabbed his throat Yamcha pointed his index & middle fingers down causing the orb to immediately travel downwards into Vinegar's stomach. Yamcha caused the ball of energy to explode in Vinegar's stomach & watched as the light slowly left Vinegar's eyes.
After being punched through several pillars Sansho was finally able to stop himself & face Piccolo. Without hesitation Sansho launched his Unaju Fire which is a fully powered red energy wave shot from his palm. Instead of dodging Piccolo yelled out "Die!" as he charged through the attack & ran straight towards Sansho elbowing him in the stomach before kicking Sansho up into the air. Piccolo then flew after him & double axe-handle punched the Makyan down to the ground. Piccolo then teleported beside his opponent & grabbed Sansho's arm. Finally, Piccolo said "I'll beat you to death!" as he punched Sansho in his stomach & threw him in the air before blasting him with a yellow Mouth Energy Wave, inflicting a huge amount of damage & vaporizing Sansho's body.
With the last of his unit dead Spice was shaking with anger. Never before had anyone defeated the Makyan warriors in such a fashion. Even if only Son Goku & Piccolo were the only ones still standing, none of their opponents were meant to be alive. Spice turned to rectify his error in judgement planning to kill Krillin then move on to the other fighters until he was able to return to his master's side to aid him against his other opponents. As Spice turned to look at Krillin he noticed that in Krillin's hand was a small oddly shaped sphere. Krillin looked at Spice & said "this attack isn't finished yet, but I'd rather die attempting to win than to remain a prisoner & watch my friends suffer". Spice smiled as he looked at the pitiful warrior "There is no hope, if you had the means to defeat me before why would you not use it as I tortured & broke your body". Krillin's response started as a whisper but suddenly grew as his attack got bigger "I was waiting, waiting for Goku to finish his fight & come save me. I was weak & helpless & a coward. But watching them has given me courage. Watching my friends fight their hardest & put their life & pride on the line showed me how pathetic I really am". At this point Krillin's attack had grown enough to severe the web & cut a portion of his own ear off. Without hesitation Krillin threw the mishappened attack as hard as he could, Spice never got the chance to dodge as the attack hit him center mass. Krillin expected the attack to slice through his opponent but instead the attack completely shredded his clothes & destroyed the platform around him. In the center of Spice's chest was a massive scar that began in the center of his chest & spread from there like spiderwebs leaving massive fissures across his body that was freely leaking blood that was all over the floor. Krillin originally began to panic as he expected the attack to completely cut through his opponent, but now he sees that his attack loss energy as soon as he launched it. Spice stumbled towards Krillin & they both met in the center of the room. Spice realized that the damage was hindering his movements but still went for a punch to Krillin's face. Krillin dove towards Spice catching him off guard tackling the Makyan to the floor. Despite his beating from earlier Krillin still had full range of motion so their attacking speed was closer to the same level. Spice kicked Krillin off of him & picked himself up off the ground. Krillin fired ki blasts while moving backwards as an evasive technique allowing him to put some distance between him & Spice while attacking at the same time preventing the Makyan from following him. Spice tried to dodge the blasts but the attack was more debilitating than Spice would ever let his opponent know. Spice used his sugar ignition technique by charging two energy balls in each hand & fired them, as they neared Krillin they combined to create a larger energy ball. Krillin decided to use the Double Tsuibikidan & form a double energy wave from both hands that followed Spice like homing missiles. Once both attacks landed both Krillin & Spice were on the ground. Spice sat up preparing to finish off his opponent but found himself face to face with Goku. Before anyone could speak or even react Goku attacked. Goku drew his hand back to his upper side & then brought his hand forward & fired an emanating yellow energy wave at Spice incinerating his entire form.
Ginger was annoyed at this point. The three fighters if that's what you would call them were putting him on the backfoot. Granted it was really the old man who was somehow able to increase his bodies size whose attacks were able to cause him any form of damage. Master Roshi followed behind Ox King as he charged at Ginger. The blood red aura growing as he charged disturbed Ginger for some reason but the fact that he could simply smack the man away with each charge made Ginger feel like he wasn't a real concern. If Ginger was willing to admit to himself it was getting harder & harder to push the man aside he would never acknowledge it. The crazy woman flying around on the cloud was also becoming a problem. He wasn't sure what the stick in her hand could do but the wind generated by the fan was becoming increasingly more powerful. But nothing was stronger than the power of master Garlic's elite warriors as far as Ginger was concerned. There would only be Garlic's Makyan Kingdom to rule this world. Chichi was tired of trying to blow this monster away her baby was trapped, probably scared & alone. She couldn't waster her time trying to fight this monster, but she couldn't seem to break its defenses. She wanted to just leave, but she knew this was the monster who attacked her home, she couldn't let it kill anyone. Without her notice, the Bansho Fan's blue area began to glow. The next swing wasn't just wind but a charged electrical storm. The blast was enough to knock Ginger backwards allowing Master Roshi to finally hit him with a full power Kamehameha Wave that Ginger had to block. This was the first attack that actually worried the Makyan. He never thought that anyone besides Piccolo or maybe even the rumored Goku would be able to stand against him. His lapse of attention allowed Ox King to ram him into the wall. The damage was minimal but the fact that he was hurt enraged Ginger. In response his body began to grow to twice it's size & his eyes began to glow. The aura he possessed forced both Ox King & Master Roshi towards the edge of the cliff. Even Bulma was forced back inside her vehicle before she was blown away. Chi-Chi took to the skies, the flying nimbus keeping her away from the danger. As the dust settled everyone was shocked to see Ginger standing at twice his height having gained tremendous muscle mass & exuding an aura stronger than anything they had ever felt before. Not even Piccolo or Goku had produced such a power back in the Tournament. Roshi knew that they were outclassed & out powered. Even with that knowledge he began to run towards Ginger. Master Roshi increased the size of his muscles as he moved. Not going to his Max Form but utilizing the increased physical abilities to enhance his combat. He then focused the lightning he would usually use for his Thunder Shock Surprise & held them in his fists. As he got closer Master Roshi went on the attack. thanks to his many years of martial arts experience Master Roshi became capable of utilizing a form of automatic dodging techniques that allowed him to maneuver around Ginger's enhanced strikes & hit him at point blank range. Using his pressure point attack, Master Roshi was able to stagger Ginger. Ox King grabbed his axe & charged at Ginger. Ginger saw the attack & let a stiff kick fly hitting Ox King in the face. Bulma seeing this grabbed a ray gun she was working on & began to fire at Ginger. Ginger held up a hand & reflected the beams away from himself. Bulma threw a smoke bomb & ran towards Ox King. Within the smoke Bulma pulled out a capsule & pushed the button releasing a jet powered stretcher that Bulma was able to remotely control. With this she got Ox King safely inside the shuttle & used the medical area to try & treat the semi giants wounds. Master Roshi continued to attack Ginger while Chi-Chi charged in with the Ruyi Jingu Bang & slammed the staff into Ginger's face. The staff hit Ginger with so much force it snapped his head to the side. Ginger was shocked that the staff actually hurt, Chi-Chi made another swing but Ginger grabbed the staff. When Chi-Chi let go of the staff it immediately increased in size & weight causing Ginger to fall forward. Master Roshi immediately increased to his Max Power Form & released a Full Power Kamehameha Wave at the same power as the blast he used to destroyed the moon. The blast sent Ginger flying into the base, allowing Chi-Chi a chance to attack with the Bansho Fan the added power sending him further into the wall. Ginger pulled himself from the rubble & charged at Master Roshi slamming into the old man at full force sending him flying till he crashed into Bulma's ship turning it over on its side. While he was still in pain Ginger stood above the rest. Chi-Chi slowly began to walk over to Ginger with the Bansho Fan in her hand. Her clothes were torn showing the body tape under her clothes & the cuts that she received were bleeding profusely. The red part of the Bancho Fan began to glow the same as the blue portion & Chi-Chi knew she could produce a stronger attack. The following attack created a wind tunnel that sucked Ginger up into the sky. Before she could celebrate Ginger's aura pulsed & the wind tunnel exploded. Without a second to spare Ginger launched at Chi-Chi planning to crush her skull. Before they made contact a shining Guan Dao sailed through the sky & pierced Ginger through his back. Ginger immediately lost his Makyan power up & fell to the ground. Ox King crawled from outside of the tipped over vehicle & stared at the weapon. All he could do was whisper "Annin" before he passed out. Chi-Chi grabbed the staff off of the ground & asked Ginger "Where is Gohan" Ginger just smiled a bloody smile & stated "The heir to the master's throne is not your concern". With that Chi-Chi let loose one final attack extending the staff till Ginger was crushed into the side of one of the stagnant rock pillars across the water. Chi-Chi went to check on his father, Bulma & the old man & once she was done she slowly made her way back into the castle to find her son.
Kami dove behind the nearest out cove to dodge another onslaught from Garlic Jr. The guardian knew that he was limited in his options now that Garlic Jr was immortal but he didn't think that he would be so outclassed. Once his guardian aura was spent Kami had no choice but to retreat to try & figure out another way to fight him. Unfortunately all the damage Garlic Jr received was instantly regenerated due to his immortality. As a final gambit Kami began to glow, even Garlic Jr was shocked by his choice of action but knew he had nothing to worry about. Kami began to push his body causing his lost guardian aura to reignite & the aura to suddenly weigh on Garlic Jr. "You're a fool" smirked Garlic Jr "All of this is for nothing, my father died while you sat on your lofty perch". As Garlic Jr spoke he grew angrier, now each statement came with a blow. By the end of his tirade Kami could no longer use his aura for offense & was simply using it to heal his body. Garlic Jr took one last look at Kami & his eyes began to glow. Garlic Jr knew that his darkness eye beam attack would kill Kami by shooting two thin purple energy rays from the eyes & firing it straight through Kami's head. Before the attack could begin Garlic Jr began to sense his Spice Boys aura's disappearing. It was unfathomable to think that his elite warriors would lose. It was worse as he could now feel Goku & Piccolo coming towards him. Garlic Jr watched as both opponents walked towards him, he kept his hands wrapped around Kami's neck. No words were spoken Garlic Jr turned & while dragging Kami behind him, Garlic Jr hovered over to his enemies. Garlic Jr began to gain a yellow aura & his body began to shake. Garlic Jr threw Kami at Piccolo's & Goku's feet & began to smile. As Garlic Jr entered his transformed state, Garlic Jr.'s skin became darker, becoming massive in size & muscle built increasing his strength & power far beyond what he showed while battling Kami. When at his strongest in this state, Garlic Jr.'s pupils & irises disappear, & he gained a yellow aura. Garlic Jr fired a combination of many energy waves, much more powerful than the average ki blasts & fired at a very rapid rate. Piccolo dodged while Goku grabbed Kami & dove down the corridor dropping of Kami with the others. Goku could hear Chi-Chi running up & down the hallways looking for Gohan while Krillin, Tien, Yamcha & Chiatzou were slowly making there way towards the battle. "Stay here & watch him" was all Goku said before running back full speed. When he reached the atrium he saw Piccolo & Garlic Jr releasing bright flashes of light from their eyes in a power struggle. Goku went to charge but Garlic Jr punched Piccolo & moved behind him to elbow him in his back. Then, Garlic Jr backhanded Piccolo into the ground & flew after him. Finally, Garlic Jr. grabbed Piccolo by the neck & flew downwards to slam him into the ground, inflicting a significant amount of damage. Garlic Jr. looked at Golu & launched an energy ball from each hand, before firing a third powerful ball from both hands forcing Goku to dodge. When Goku looked up Garlic Jr was rushing at him at full speed with Piccolo being caught up in a lariat in Garlic Jr's arm. Not able to dodge in time Garlic Jr smashed both opponents threw multiple pillars until he reached a wall. Instead of stopping Garlic Jr forced both fighters to bust through the wall where he let the both of them fall to the ground. Not to be deterred both men kicked back up off the ground & got into combat positions. Both took off their weighted clothes for better speed. Piccolo stated "He is capable of causing much more damage to us than in his previous form. However, this form's bulky state causes a noticeable decrease in his speed. This should allow us to more easily counter & outmaneuver Garlic Jr. in battle". Goku nodded then charged straight at Garlic Jr. Goku suddenly slid forward & launched a brutally powerful elbow strike into Garlic Jr's gut, delivering enough force to shatter his body completely. Goku then cupped his hands together & reeled back, then slammed his fists into Garlic Jr's chin. The impact knocked him upwards as Piccolo leaped over Goku. Piccolo stretched his arms by expanding & contracting the cells in his body through willpower. This allowed him to grab Garlic Jr & pull him close to fire a very powerful energy wave shot from a single hand at point blank into Garlic Jr's face. The blast blew him backwards & Garlic Jr spun in the air landing on his feet. He began to fire recklessly attempting to destroy his opponents & was able to tag both fighters. Goku ripped off his burning gi top as Piccolo regrew the arm that was blown off. Taking this time Garlic Jr charged again. Garlic Jr once again grabbed them both by the face, but this time they worked together & pulled Garlic Jr to the ground. Garlic Jr pulled his arms back & released a blast into the ground. The blast fired up into the sky forcing Goku & Piccolo to dodge. As they fought Krillin, Tien, Chiatzou, Kami, Yamcha & Master Roshi watched from a containment barrier created by Kami. Within that barrier Kami used what little energy he had to heal the fighter's wounds. "They're amazing" stated Chiatzou. "How can they be so powerful" questioned Yamcha as they watched. "Those two are something else, we could never truly reach them" said Tien. Krillin laughed. It started low then little by little it grew. "Its our fault" he said. "We could all sense it, except for the one I fought & lost to, they were all pretty much equal in strength". The reason we're barely clinging to life & those two are still fighting is because we don't try hard enough". Krillin slowly pulled himself up to his feet. "I train every day, but outside of going over the basics & firing energy waves at the ocean I've barely progressed since the tournament. Those few times I trained with you Yamcha you even admit that you hardly push yourself beyond exercises". Tien decided to defend himself "I train constantly every day; I push myself from sunrise to sunset I am not like you". "You're also not them" stated Yamcha. "You hold back in your training for Chiatzou. We all know that you can't get stronger working with someone that much weaker than you". "What will you do" asked Master Roshi. "You're all more powerful than anything I've ever seen & honestly I never dreamed there was a strength beyond Goku & Piccolo. This could be the greatest threat this world has ever known or just the tip of the iceberg. You know your weaknesses, you know your flaws, do you surpass them or let them define you & wait for these two to rescue you?" Behind them they heard quiet sniffling. Chi-Chi stood there with a sleeping Gohan in her arms. "Goku sees you all as his rivals" she said quietly. He sees Krillin as someone who is weaker in strength but believes that your strategies & techniques will one day defeat him, so he works to be smarter. Tien, the way Goku speaks you were an even greater challenge than Piccolo & said he can't wait to face you again" she chuckled "You're the only person he thinks losing to will be fun. Yamcha he fully believes he must work his punches up to the level of your wolf attack cause as he puts it THAT WAS THE BEST HIT I'VE EVER TAKEN. You've lost something because you didn't need to push yourselves. But now my husband needs you all to get stronger. He needs you to inspire him just like his strength inspires you". "What about me" Chiatzou asked. "He thinks that since you can move stuff with your mind you must be to smart for his to even try to outthink" she laughed. All of them smiled while standing to their feet. They would support; they would push themselves & they would fight. Even if this was a fight far beyond their abilities, they would fight. It was at that point a massive blast eclipsed the battleground & when they looked down they saw Piccolo & Goku on the ground while Garlic Jr was on his knee gasping for breath. "Why won't you die" Garlic Jr gasped through breathes. "Its not hard, just surrender yourselves to my omnipotence, my immortality, my Makyan strength. When I take the life of Kami I will become the new guardian of this world & all will bow before me". As he spoke, Goku & Piccolo began to stand. Neither spoke, both simply began to charge an attack.
Goku took the familiar stance of the Kamehameha while Piccolo created a ball of concentrated energy in his palm while gripping his wrists for additional support. Seeing the challenge in front of him Garlic Jr thrusts his chest forward & released a massive red beam from his belly. The three beams clashed with Piccolo digging in their feet. Garlic Jr felt his energy level dropping & for all the power he was outputting his opponents were matching him. Not willing to lose Garlic Jr redirected his power to opening a portal behind himself. The portal started as a bright yellow hole that appeared to empty into complete nothingness. Suddenly a red & orange funnel appeared behind Garlic Jr. Everyone felt a sudden pull as even the barrier began to slide towards the opening. On the lower levels Ginger slowly crawled his way out of the water. Bulma watched as the Makyan warrior stumbled past her while holding his wound that was leaking blood. Ox King was unconscious on the gurney while she did her best to keep him from moving. Chi-Chi who was outside of Kami's barrier felt her grip on Gohan slipping so she decided to run the opposite direction. The others tried to call to her telling her that Kami was going to open the barrier, but their words were lost in her panic. She was so focused that she didn't realize that she was running right into the path of the limping Ginger. Their crash knocked her to the ground & he looked at her in disgust. Using his free hand Ginger snatched Gohan from her waking up the boy stating that the child belonged to Garlic Jr. Before she could protest Ginger rammed his foot into the face knocking her out completely. The humans watched but no one moved, not at first. Krillin whispered, "I'll go for the big guy, Yamcha grab Chi-Chi & Tien grab Gohan" Krillin looked towards Chiatzou & said "Use your telekinesis to keep us as straight as you can". Before Kami could lower the barrier there was a scream. All eyes turned to Chi-Chi whose aura retained its bluish-white glow, but she also gained a reddish-magenta inner aura shrouded by magenta lightning. The eruption of her ki is so intense it resembled a massive pressure cooker that even Garlic Jr noticed. Chi-Chi charged at Ginger & in one swift moment she copied the same attack she did at home by passing him then turning with a spin kick, but this time the attack made an ident in Ginger's face & sent him flying back through the wall. There was no doubt this time that he was dead. As quickly as the aura came, it dropped & Chi-Chi collapsed on the ground unconsciously. This distraction allowed Garlic Jr to ramp up his power making the portal grow wider. All together everyone charged & fired the strongest blast they had which caused Garlic Jr to slowly be pushed back but that's all. It wasn't enough, Garlic was exhausted but so were they. No one had the energy to fire another blast & while Goku wanted to attack he was torn as he wanted to get to his family. His friends made that decision for him as Yamcha grabbed Chi-Chi & ran away from the portal. The problem was Gohan, the child had simply seemed to disappear without a trace. Instead, everyone heard a cry as Goku & Piccolo grabbed onto boulders & pillars for support the cry became stronger. From the hallway came Gohan crying as he walked. But also, as he walked the crying became a growl until slowly the tears stopped flowing. Instead, Gohan looked angry, he looked almost like Goku as an aura began to surround him. As a fiery yellow energy aura surrounded his body Gohan stood amid the pull of the portal. The pull from the tunnel wasn't even affecting him as he stood in front of Garlic Jr. "It's not possible, only a Makyan can handle the pull from the Dead Zone", with this Garlic Jr smiled "I knew there was something about this boy, I'll have his power if it's the last thing I do". Garlic Jr focused all his remaining power into pulling Gohan into the tunnel, but the boy would not move. Instead, Gohan's eyes lost their pupils & his aura changed into its own force that went flying towards Garlic Jr. He tried to block it, he tried to force the power back but it was to late. The blast sent Garlic Jr flying towards the portal entrance. Garlic Jr grabbed onto the edges of the portal trying to hold himself outside of the Dead Zone. The chant was low but too familiar to him to ignore, while jumping from pillar-to-pillar Roshi, Goku, Krillin & Yamcha were all gathering whatever energy they had left. The resulting Turtle School Kamehameha Wave coupled with Gohan's pure power knocked Garlic Jr through the portal. The portal closed shortly behind him & the fighters all collapsed from exhaustion. An hour later one of Capsule Corps' private ships landed on the island. Doctors began to treat the fighters as Goku & Chi-Chi held a sleeping Gohan. Piccolo being Piccolo disappeared as soon as he was able to gather enough energy to fly. He briefly entertained the notion of attacking the weakened Goku but seeing as he was surrounded by allies & the power his son was capable of Piccolo knew he needed to wait until not only he was stronger, but the fight would be 1 vs 1. With that in mind Piccolo left. Kami limped over to Goku & looked at the man. He hated what he had to do, but he knew there was no other alternative. "Goku, I know we have had this discussion before, but I believe its time for you to take the mantle of Guardian & become the official protector of Earth". Goku wanted to brush it off like he did last time but something was stopping him from out right refusing. "When you asked me before I felt like I had no reason to do the job, but today I don't know. My family was in danger & you couldn't protect them. Neither could I. I don't want the responsibility, I want my freedom, but this was too close. If I do this can I become strong enough". Kami had no real answer for Goku. He knew he could make Goku stronger, but was strength the only thing that was important? Goku had an amazingly pure heart & even after everything that happened today, he wants the strength to protect not for revenge. "You can become stronger, but Goku remember that strength is not for personal gain, it must be used in the service of protecting this planet". "Ok" was all Goku said. He didn't smile, didn't rub the back of his head & laugh like everyone thought he would. Everyone knew that Goku was taking this decision more seriously than they had ever seen. "You & your family can move in as soon as you're ready". Kami stated. Roshi looked at too the others & asked them about their training. Tien smiled & said the four of them were going to train at Capsule Corp for a while. Bulma promised some training equipment that could help push them all. "I'm not going". Chiatzou said. Everyone including Tien was shocked at his declaration. "I am returning to Mifan Kingdom". He said "I have wanted to go home for a long time, but I was always with you Tien. I needed to be with you because I didn't want you to be alone & I didn't want to lose my only friend, but now I have to go back. Not for good, but for right now I must go where I am needed & my father has been waiting for me". Tien nodded. He didn't want to say goodbye, but he knew they would always be connected. Chiatzou's telepathy was always stronger than his telekinesis. Bulma said that she would have a private ship take him so that Capsule Corps can establish a partnership with the kingdom. With everyone ready the group boarded the plane & everyone left to see what was next.
