"Well that sucks I guess."
Goku just looked down as he held the half sword in his hands. The other half of the blade had fallen to the wayside, now also a useless piece of the blade. He wasn't even sure exactly what to do, so he just put the part he was holding onto the ground.
"So, what now? Does that mean I finished the training?" Goku looked back over to Shin and Kabito.
"No….how could…this happen?" Shin, and also Kabito, looked horrified!
That was the legendary sword! It's weirder was supposed to be able to stop anything. But it simply snapped in half! What were they supposed to do now? They needed the sword to defeat Majin Buu!
"Hey, Shin. You okay?" Goku asked, waving his hand in front of Shins face. They were both so in shock they hadn't noticed Goku walked over to them.
"Goku, what are we going to do? You were supposed to be able to use that sword to defeat Majin Buu! What are we to do now!" Shin asked in a panic once Goku snapped him out of his funk.
Goku just crossed his arms in thought. He tried thinking back on the better part of the last day he had been using the sword. Was the sword really needed? In truth, he still wasn't fully used to using the sword. It wasn't the problem of swinging it around, he could rather easily handle that now. No doubt his dead body allowing him to adapt even faster. If he was still alive, or if it had been Vegeta or Gohana, they still could master it fast. Though it may have taken maybe a bit longer than an entire day.
"Maybe its less about the sword itself. I mean I think I recall you mentioning that whoever masters the sword can defeat Buu. Not the sword can defeat him. Right?" Goku asked.
"Oh, you heard us talking while you trained?" Shin asked.
"Yeah, just a little bit. When I was taking a few moments to catch my breath here and there I heard you both trying to come up with ideas." Goku smiled.
"Well, maybe you are right! I mean even just your power now is so much greater than it was when you started!" Shin became a little bit optimistic.
"Maybe that's what the legend meant! You mastered the Z sword, so with that strength you should be able to win!" Kabito was also hopeful.
"Not exactly." A calm matter of fact voice spoke from behind them.
The three of them looked back behind Goku. There hadn't been anyone there before hand, there wasn't even suppose to be anybody but Shin and Kabito on this planet! Well also Goku for the moment. But they saw another person there.
Goku looked at him and blinked a few times. He looked back at Shin, and forth again at the new person in front if them.
"Hey Shin, why's the old guy look just like you?" he asked.
"Baah, show some respect will you! Who are you calling old!" he spat out.
"Ahh, I'm sorry sir. But you do gotta admit you look like an older version of Shin here!" Goku politely clapped his hands together but laughed it off childishly.
"Oh don't worry, I'm just pulling your leg." He laughed it off, waving his hand.
Goku just blinked confused, and looked down at his own legs. He didn't see anything, and just looked around him. Was this guy playing a joke?
"But you're over there. How are you pulling my legs?" Goku asked confused.
"It means I'm joking! I swear, Mortals these days." He composed himself.
"I'm sorry, but may I ask who you are? And how did you even get here?" Shin decided to interrupt.
"Why not take a good look. Even this oaf immediately saw it. The hair, and even my garb? You should be able to recognize a fellow Kai. Though fifteen generations removed."
"Fifteen…..generations!" Shin feel into shock at this
Goku just kept glancing back and forth between Shin and this newer, well older, Kai in front if the me.
"Well either way, would you mind? Were in the middle of training to beat Majin Buu." Goku flatly asked, having stopped staring at his legs confused.
"Goku, you cant speak to him that way!" Shin shot back, so in shock he forgot Goku was clueless.
"Training? you call that training? Wait…Majin Buu you said?"
"Yeah. He's really powerful. I don't stand a chance against him! So Shin brought me here to train and get stronger."
"Majin Buu. I'm surprised he is still around. Would have guessed Lord Beerus would have killed him."
"Ahh, no sir! Lord Beerus never destroyed Majin Buu. Though he is currently released and causing mayhem in a plant called Earth."
Elder Kai took a moment to take this info in. True, he knew of Majin Buu, that's why Beerus sealed him. He was afraid that he would die because of their bond. Though it may have gone over Berus's head that his life would then be linked to the next Elder Kai. Still, he didn't blame the Diety
"Well, I see why you needed to try training with the sword. About time too that somebody managed to free it. Though I had always hoped it would have been a Mao to do so " he said glancing somewhat disappointed at Shin and Kabito.
"Forgive us, Elder Kai." Shin said with his head lowered
"Now then," Elder Kai glanced back at Goku, "do you really think you'll be able to beat Majin Buu?" he asked.
"Well to be honest, I don't know. I mean, between the three of us I'm still somewhat the weakest. Bit I won't knowing I don try!"
"What, the three of you?" he glanced over at Shin and Kabito, then back at Goku.
"I don't mean to disrespect my fellow Kai's, but how are you the wakest?"
"Its not us sir! There are two more Saiyan's, Vegeta and Gohana. They're on Earth right now, training to unlock God Ki."
This caught Elder Kai's immediate attention. He glanced back off in a direction, Goku looking puzzled in the same ideation. It took him a few moments but he finally did find what he thought he was looking for.
"Well well. I can maybe see why you said you were the weaker of the three of you. But I don't see a third Saiyan that seems to match. Maybe its one of the children?" He asked.
"You can see them?" Goku said in shock.
"Of course, with my Godly vision I can see anything. Even," he got a perverted grin on his face. "I can even see all the pretty ladies."
"But still, I don't see another Saiyan stronger than you."
"Oh, that's right. Gohana and Piccolo went into the time chamber!"
"Time Chamber eh, well that explains why I can't see them. I take it they are looking for God ki. I don't sense Beerus there. Very interesting."
Everyone was silent for a moment. Shin and Kabito ust didn't know what to say, so they stayed silent. Goku just wasn't sure what was happening at the moment so he just stood there, waiting.
After a few minutes, Elder Kai looked back up at Goku.
"So what are you waiting for? Why aren't you training for God Ki like the others?" he asked confused. If those two Saiyans were training for it, why wasn't he?
"Oh you see, Gohana accidentally stumbled onto it. And her and Piccolo were starting to train Vegeta with it apparently."
"Apparently?" he was confused.
"Basically Gohana inadvertently started training her ki to help with her Super Saiyan 3 state in a similar way the candidates for God of Destruction start their training. While it wasn't the trials, the effect were remarkably similar. So she, Piccolo, and to a smaller extent Vegeta, all have started the training to obtain God Ki on their own. They only just yesterday learned what it was."
"And where were you in l this?" Elder looked back at Goku again.
"I was actually dead ready. So I missed out on all that."
"Ah, well that may explain a lot. Maybe I can still help you though. The true power of the Z Sword.." He calmly smiled.
"Wait, it wasn't whomever masters the sword gains immense power?" Shin was shocked.
"Of course not! Don't be ridiculous! Though I imagine just training with the sword did for sure help, but no. The real power was what I could do! I can bring out every ounce of hidden potential from deep within a person. And for you, Goku, to have mastered using it, I imagine there is plenty of potential in you."
"Wait, their potential unlocked? You mean like Guru did for Gohana and Krillin on Namek?"
"Namekians, huh. Interesting. But this is far more powerful than that! I can make a feeble little kitten become mightier than the more ferocious of beasts!" Elder Kai explained, rather proudly as well!
"So you're saying that you can unlock all my potential? Man, I sure need it to help with Majin Buu. But…" he looked down a bit.
"But what? What's wrong with that?"
"Ah technically nothing. It's just it feels like cheating. And if I can't ever get stronger, than…"
"Who said you couldn't become stronger?"
"Um, isn't that how it works?" Goku asked confused..
"Did that Gohana and Krillin you mentioned get stronger even after getting their potential unlocked?" he asked.
Goku didn't even have to think, he already knew the answer tl that!
"Oh yeah, Gohana especially! I almost nothing compared to her!"
Elder Kai smiled, glad his little probe into Gokus mind worked like a charm.
"Now you see how I can help! You'll get a pretty big boost! Though I make no promises. It should be substantial enough!"
"Then yeah, let's do it! As it is right now I couldn't be much of a help against Majin Buu. Would be nice to be able to help more. So what do it do?"
"Oh not much. Just go stand right over there" he pointed a few feet away from him.
Goku happily and excitedly went over towards where Elder Kai told him to stand. He wondered what this would be like, he remembered the Ultra Devine Water he had to beat King Piccolo. And he knew how well it worked for Gohana and Krillin! So he was excited to see what this would do for him!
Chi Chi woke up from her nap. She hadn't realized she was that tired, she had fallen asleep against a pillar were Goten and Trunks were playing cards to pass the time. Neither of them had any clue how to help. More accurately, they tried to help Raina and Vegeta, but Vegeta told the off as they were more a distraction than a help. She noticed Krillin, Roshi, and Launch were all playing along with them. Despite the situation, she was glad to see the kids were at least in good spirits at the moment.
Wanting to at least feel helpful, she made her way to the cooking area. Not only to feel helpful, but to also help herself take her mind off of things. Cell specifically. More so that monster being in the Time Chamber with Gohana alone. She didn't even know how long they would be in there! She knew a day for them would be a year for inside. Bit she thought Piccolo said maybe six months, so half a day! It had been almost am entire day, only half hour shy!
She couldn't get her mind off Cell. Or more specifically, how messed up Gohana was for a long time afterwards. Not only was the scar on her left shoulder a physical reminder, of which Gohana never minded, but the mental scaring he had caused her!
She had to keep remaindering herself what Vegeta had said. Piccolo knows exactly what Gohana went through, he was literally there! And even she couldn't get through her own daughter whenever she had a episode. Piccolo could. Krillin sometimes but especially Piccolo. And Piccolo was the one to ask Cell to go in with them.
There had to be a reason! She didn't know what Piccolo was thinking, and it hurt so much.
'Gohana…please be okay '
Raina stared at Vegeta as he meditated. Well, more accurately he was training. He took what Videl had pointed out to heart. And while he had no idea if that was even accurate or not, it was still better than wasting his time with what he was doing prior. He had almost asked Raina to leave, until she had pointed out he should try balancing the power surging and power containing. She could just barely sense it. More so because she tried meditating like that a few times prior bit had been training with Gohana so much, she had subtly learned to feel it. Vegeta would take whatever he could get.
"Vegeta your too tense. You need to calm down." Raina spoke up when she noticed his muscles tensing up.
"Gaah why is something like this so difficult.!" Vegeta huffed in frustration.
"Well it is doing to opposite things at the same time pretty much. At least that's how Nee chan explained it once. It was still difficult for her as well."
Vegeta just grumbled. This was so much harder than he ever thought possible! But he did have to admit, being forced to meditate by Gohana and Piccolo was actually paying off. He could just barely notice it though, but he had to admit he wouldn't have made what pathetic little amount of progress he's ready made without it. So he swallowed his pride and let Raina help. She was so learning from him as well, bit she had been around Gohana training like this more. It would be worth it, right.
"Let's take a break for a few minutes. " Vegeta finally spoke up and got up.
Raina just nodded and went over to where everyone was playing cards.
Vegeta made his way over to Bulma. He saw her deep in thought with some papers in front of her. He glanced at them, noticing he had seen her spend sleepless nights thinking over this thing. She brought her work with her?
"Why are you workkng at a time like this?" he asked, causing her to slightly jump.
"Vegeta, Ah you scared me." She composed herself from the sudden jumps care she had.
Vegeta just glanced away apologizing.
"And to answer why, I just need to keep my mind busy. It was easier when Raina and I were collecting the Dragon Balls. But now, I feel so useless. And this is helping me. "
Vegeta didn't question her. She was doing exacy what he was doing, in her own way. Still, he went over to her and sat down next to her. Though he didn't embrace her, he just sat with her, arms crossed and face still somewhat gruff. But Bulma just smile softly.
She went back to looking at her blueprints. She had two sets of projects actually! The engine system she and Gohana were working on, and the neural link cybernetics prosthetics system she was trying to develop. But at the moment the engine system was easier to focus on. It was more in her wheelhouse than the other.
"So, have you had any luck on either of these?" Vegeta finally asked.
"What?" Bulma asked surprised, looking at him confused he'd ask her about work. She quickly realized what he was really doing.
"Oh, yes. Well maybe not but maybe yes. You see this propulsion system Gohana and I are working on. Gohana really had a unique idea actually for the fuel injection system. But the propulsion system she thought of, it's rather unique!" Bulma suddenly got excited, as if the current world situation wasn't happening. This got the faintest of smiles from Vegeta
"So the main goal of the project is to increase power output, but without destroying the system! We've had a few prototypes before but they either had a good output, but would fail pretty quickly. Sometimes catastrophically so. Or it would be sustainable, but barely gave a better I crease over the standard way of thinking."
While Vegeta didn't really understand exactly what she was talking about, he could somewhat follow the basic idea. Being around not just Bulma, but also Gohana bother being scientist, he learned to get the general gist of what they were saying. Even Teunks to a degree also showed a decent aptitude for this stuff.
He looked over at the blueprints, not really understanding anything that we was looking at. Well, he understood it was an engine. Though it didn't look like any engine he had seen.
"So we had to think of way to increase the power output while safely keeping everything contained. The best part, Gohana's idea came out of nowhere one day! And now the system has triple the output!"
"So what exactly was Gohana's suggestion?" Vegeta asked really just trying to keep her in the swing of things.
"Well she noticed that whenever we tried supplying more power, it would cause an overload. So we had to be more careful how we regulated the power output. But also the containment shielding wasn't working! So she suggested that instead of brute forcing it, we lower the input slightly and instead focusing on reinforcing the containment an the shielding of the power output. We ran some digital models and not only was everything being contained, but by focusing more on containment and less on power, the power output jumped with this power system. It was really a stroke of genious!"
Vegeta couldn't help but feel something was there, but he couldn't quiet put his finger on it. It sounded somewhat familiar. But after a few moments, something hit him.
"Bulma, did Gohana by any chance tell you where she came up with this idea?"
"Oh, well sort of, bit it didn't make any sense to me. She tried explaining it but I figured it was just similar to a training technique. Somethibg about medeitating." She brushed it off.
Vegeta looked back down at the blue prints, although this time he tried reading it. And thinking back to what Gohana has told him. He thought all the way back to her birthday, when she showed him she could maintain not just Super Saiyan, but Super Saiyan 2 without the ki signature of it. She could hide it completely, minus the power. And keeping calm while doing so.
And back to when Piccolo really started training his meditations, he kept scolding him fkr being to tense and trying to brute force it, and even now Raina keeps saying he's to tense and forcing it.
'I think Gohana meant powering up as much as you can while containing it.' Videl's words from earlier rang in his head.
Vegeta suddenly got up and went to go find Raina. This surprised Bulma a little bit , bit not by much. Usually she would make sure nothing was wrong. But right now, technically everything was wrong. Still, she went back to what she was doing.
Vegeta found Raina having joined in the game with the others. He walked over to them all. He didn't have time to play game with them. He stopped once he got close to them.
"Oh, hey Dad! You wanna join us?" Trunks asked.
"Raina, let's go." Vegeta smiled.
Raina didn't really argue. She had agreed to help Vegeta train. Normally she would have, but she just apologized as she and Vegeta went back to where they had been meditating earlier.
"So, what now?" Raina asked once they sat down to start.
Sharpner sat on the make shift couch. Erasa was laying down asleep, using his legs like a pillow, as he soft stroked her hair. It had been an hour since Buu flew off. All four of them had mentioned they were hungry, and their stomachs were growling.
Seeing as they had planned on gong in and out, assuming they made it, so they didn't bring food. It had been nearly a day since they came across Buu. What surprised them more than the fact they were still alive was how he was acting.
Sure he was destructive. But the entire time they were there he just kept trying to play games with them. Though May seemed to be the least intimidated by him now. She was used to children, and being around dangerous people as well. Buu seemed to qualify as that for sure. But he never tried hurting them. He seemed to go out of his way to not hurt them. And right now he was going out to find them food.
Well, real food this time. He went out earlier and came back with food made from humans from his magic. Erasa threw up at that and scolded him profusely. And again, Buu didn't seem mad, he seemed sad. Like had hurt them. He had just left a few minutes ago. It would probably be a while before he came back.
May and Hercule were also just sitting in the house. Not that it was very big, they thought they were in separate parts of a regular house, but it was one giant open room for Buu's place.
"So, what's our next move?" May finally asked, herself completely torn about what to do.
"I…Don't really know. I thought we came here to maybe stop a monster, but…"
"Yeah, I know he's super dangerous, and we can't do anything against him. But…it sounds weird but it's like we don't need to." May spoke.
"So, you guys notice it as well?" Sharpner spoke up.
"Yeah. He doesn't seem all that bad." Hercule said, a hint of guilt in his voice.
"Erasa mentioned the same thing. He seems lost more than evil." Sharpner said before suddenly stiffening and looking the other direction., accidentally waking Erasa up.
"Is he already coming back?" May asked.
"Yeah. I assumed it would take him longer to find food. I mean we did explain what a grocery store was. But I didn't think there were any abandoned cities this close left!"
They all patiently waited the five or so minutes before Buu could be seen in the sky. He quickly landed, and looked over at them all.
"Did you get food already?" Sharpner managed to ask.
"Food, no. No food. Buu find this."
He held up a brown blob in his hands, until they realized it was a small puppy.
"Everyone else run from Buu. But not this."
"Buu, that puppy is hurt! He's injured!" Erasa shrieked as she quickly ran up to examine the puppy.
"Hurt? What, puppy hurt!" steam suddenly came from his head.
"That no do!"
Buu put the puppy down on the ground and stayed knelt down next to it. Everyone else watched as Buu put his hands out. Sharpner felt it before the others saw it, as green energy slowly flowed from Buu to the puppy. It was hard for any of them to explain it but they swore they could see the puppy's injuries vanish. It only took maybe half a minute before Buu stopped.
"There, now puppy can run away!"
The puppy slowly opened its eyes, looking at its back legs. It carefully rolled itself over and stood up, his tail slightly wagging.
The puppy quickly ran over to Buu, rubbing against his foot before starting to run circles around him.
"Hey, why puppy no run away?" Buu asked confused.
"He was hurt, badly. And you seemed to have healed him, that must means he likes you."
Buu looked in aww at the puppy started running around him, playfully barking. Buu squatted back down and held out his hand. The puppy quickly shoved his face into Buu's gloved hand, rubbing it and giving it a few licks.
Buu took a few moments but soon smiled. He didn't know why, but deep down he liked how this felt.
"Do you like Buu?" he asked, just like a child.
"I mean, Buu do you like us?" Sharpner asked.
"Oh, yeah. You all nice to Buu. So Buu like you too!" he exclaimed happily.
"Then why do you cause so much chaos and pain for others?" Erasa finally spat put.
Everyone was now a little worried how Buu would take this.
"What? Pain? Buu no pain, Buu having fun!" buu defended himself.
"Buu, other people are not having fun! You're scaring them! Killing them! You don't make friends like that! What makes you think that's fun?"
"What? But Babadi said that's how others have fun." Buu defended himself innocently.
"You mean that yellow bad guy?"
"What, bad? But Babadi say you bad, put Buu back in ball." Buu seemed confused, as the puppy kept licking him.
"Buu, think about it. Whenever you go have that fun, does anybody else want to play with you?" Erasa started treating him like a misbehaving child.
Buu thought for a moment. It was very obvious he was actually thinking about it. "No, once fun over there's no more."
"Its because they're not having fun. What you're doing is very very bad! You won't make friends like that!" Erasa now got more into his face.
Once she realized what she was doing, she looked a little nervous. Buu's usually closed eyes, well now they looked slightly open, and in shock. They all tensed a bit, not sure what to think, or what will happen. They all were holding their breath, not realizing it of course.They watched Buu look at each of them, then back down at Bee.
"Okay then. Buu not be bad then. Buu like friends, so Buu be good and have fun with friends!"
Wait, that's it? Just like that?
"Buu, when you say you'll be good, what do you mean?" Hercule asked.
"Buu not bad, Buu want fun. Buu like friends, friends are fun. Buu stop doing bad!"
'Wait, what the heck is actually happening? Did we really stop Buu?' Sharpner's mind was racing.
"Can Buu have fun with spikey boy and girl too? Buu have lots of fun playing with them!"
They were all a little confused who he was talking about.
"Spikey boy and girl? What do you mean Buu?"
"They really strong, funny yellow hair. Girl super strong, and super spiky funny hair!"
"Wait you fought Gohana?" Erasa asked.
"Did her hair change at all?" Sharpner ask?
"Change? Mmmm, yeah. She long yellow and look funny! Then suddenly not funny. Change color. Buu like them. Can Buu be friends with them too!" he tried explaining when he saw their hair change.
None of then were really sure even what to say at this moment in time. Buu was telling them that he would cold turkey stop being mean? All he was trying was to have was fun.
"I mean, maybe if you apologize?" Sharpner said with a very large questioning tone.
"Okay, Buu go apologize and be friends! No more hurting or scaring people!" He held out his hand.
18 remained at her lookout point. She had been able to clearly watch and somewhat hear what was going on. She knew not to interfere, but this wasnt what she expected. Just like that, this was over? It can't be that simple, can it?
Then again, she thought back to when she woke up on the lookout after Cell. They were kind to her. Though she knew full well it was because she was no longer a threat at that point thanks to Piccolo and the Saiyan's being vastly stronger than her. But how was this any different?
She tried feeling for anything like malice from Majin Buu, but she couldn't. Not that she couldn't feel his ki, she could. But he truly seemed to mean it. Was this threat seriously over? Should she contact Piccolo? He said to let him know of any danger does this count.
No, she needed to not jump the gun. At least with Piccolo.
Dedei remained at the side of the look lookout. He had been watching as well. He was sure Piccolo would be too, had he not been in the tike chamber.
"I cant believe it!" he said, a bit louder than he meant to.
Not everyone was near him, but Videl and Tien both were. They clearly head him, and thinking something was wrong, quickly bolted towards him.
"Dendei, what is it!" Videl nearly shouted. This was loud enough to catch everybody's attention.
"Videl. Its…your father and your friends."
Videl's heart sank! What happened to them, were they in danger?
"They're with Mjin Buu." Debdei said, leaving out the rest of the context. On accident of course.
"What? BUU CAPTURED THEM?" Videl jumped to conclusions.
"What, no in fact they're just fine. I think we might even be saved"
"Explain Debdei." Vegeta grumbled.
"Videl, your father Hercule. I know what he did with Cell. But, he. He and your friends. They went to try and stop him."
"What the hell are they thinking!?" Videl screamed, taking her fear out a bit on Dendei. Not that Dendei minded, he understood having spent some time around Videl already.
"Videl, relax. They're totally safe."
Tien, who was rather gifted at sensing ki had been focusing his attention towards Buu. While not able to see everything like Dendei and Piccolo, he could still feel it.
"He's right. I can feel Majin Buu and your father. But Majin Buu, there's no evil intent."
"Videl, while we were so focused on becoming strong enough to save Earth from Majin Buu, your father and friends did the opposite. They befriended him instead. Showed Majin Buu what friendship is."
Videl needed a few moments to process exactly what they were saying. She couldn't really figure out stuff from ki just yet. But if she was hearing them right.
"So what, you're saying that lying oaf actually did save the Earth this time?" blond Launch asked.
"Yeah, it would appear so!" Dendei smiled.
They watched as the puppy was running around Majin Buu. It was really weird to see this, but whatever. It didn't matter to them.
"Hey, boss. Check it out! Is that Hercule?"
He shifted his scope a but and paid more attention to the others next to Majin Buu.
"What the hell? What's he doing with that monster?" he asked under his breath.
He looked back to Majin buu. He got up quickly and rummage through his ammo bag. He pulled out a couple of bullets.
"What you thinking boss?"
"I'm thinking, those traitors don't deserve to live! We're going to take them out as well." He said with an evil grin.
Majin Buu was enjoying his time with Bee, having named the puppy shortly after healing it.
Erasa was just happily watching the puppy running to fetch the ball Buu made from a rock.
"See Buu, it's nice having friends isn't it."
"Yeah, this way more fun!" Buu exclaimed happily.
"So what next? How do we explain to your friends that Buu's now on our side?" Hercule asked.
Sharpner crossed his arms deep in thought. He though maybe simply calling Videl. They did call her before they came here to let them know they were alright from the chaos earlier. But now? How would he even explain they stopped the threat if the super powered Majin Buu by encoding his friends?
"I'm not sure. I mean to be honest I wouldn't even know how to tell them anything. Or if they'd believe me. Though with Gohana and her family, weird stuff has happened."
"Oh, so this isn't farfetched for them?" Hercule asked?
Sharpner went through in his mind. Gohana's half alien, her two closest friends and sparing partners once were trying to kill her father. She'd been to space at age five. The Earth has alien guardians.
"I think this wouldn't be the most bizzare thing, no." He nervously answered with a slight chuckle.
Buu came back to Hercule, Bee happily barking up at Hercule.
"Mr. Hercule. You forgive Buu too?" he ask.
"What? Oh, well. As long as you apologize to everyone and help people, then I forgive you Buu!"
"Buu apologize to everyone! Buu help fix what Buu did! Buu be nice! Huh? Hey, what that? " Buu pointed at a red dot dancing across Hercule's chest with amusement.
Nobody had any time to react before a loud bang shot out. It hit Hercules chest so hard he barely had time to register what happened as he spin. Buu watched in horror as Hercule got shot through his chest, and Erasa behind him.
Hercule landed on the ground, screaming in agonizing pain as he clutched his chest. Barely able to even scream as the bullet tore one of his lungs apart on its way through him.
"Erasa!" Sharpner shrieked when he register what happened as she was right behind Hercule when he was shot. He quickly got to her as she was flailing in horror, pawing at her neck as the bullet had passed through her neck and shoulder. Though it didn't kill her immediately, she would barely last a few moments with the hole in her neck and shoulder. She couldn't let out a noise other than gargling noises.
Buu watched in horror, an emotion he had never experienced coursing through him. He saw his new friends on the ground, hurt. Bad people hurt them, and it felt like his insides were burning up. What was this feeling?
Buu quickly got to Hercule, but Hercule immediately recognized what was going on, grabbing Buu's hand and shaking his head.
"E…rasa…" he was able to get out in screams of pain.
Buu nodded and quickly got to Erasa. He wasted no time and immediately started trying to heal her. It was obvious it was hard for him, as steam slowly escaped from the holes along his body. Sharpner saw the wound quickly closing, as Erasa was quickly able to gasp for air. She quickly shot up, face drained of color as she was nearly hyperventilating. Though Buu did repair the damage and regenerated the blood lose, she still felt everything. Buu could clearly see the fear in her face, as she was crying and barely got out a 'Thank you buu.' Before passing out in Sharpners arms.
Buu looked on, he was frozen in fear, unsure what was happening. But luckily Hercules scream shook him out of his daze. Though it was more so the second shot that did it. Buu watched as Bee was flung to the side with a sudden whimpering yelp as he was shot next. Bee landed against Hercule , both of them in extreme pain from being shot.
Buu watched in horror as blood was pooling below them. He quickly got to them both, as more steam started violently escaping him as he healed both Hercule and Bee.
"Hey nice shooting boss! Only two shots but three down!"
"Yeah. Now for that little blond kid next."
Sharpner gently put Erasa down, and quickly looked around for what was going on. He briefly saw a glint of light in the distance before someone appeared before them as the third cracking shot rang out. May didn't recognize her, but Sharpner thought he did from pictures at Gohana's place.
"ARE YOU ALRIGHT!" She shouted at them, holding the bullet that was going straight for Sharpner's head.
18 had no idea what she did that for! She was supposed to just watch. But instead she got involved. But why?
Buu finished healing both Hercule and Bee, who sat up and patted his chest. The bullet wound was gone, and he could breath just fine. Well, quickly breathing, but breathibg fine for the pace he was breathing.
Another shot rang out, as 18 stood in front of Hercule, the bullet collapsing against her face as it fell to the ground..
"Run!" Buu said, looking over at 18.
18 was a bit confused, noticing Buu was staring directly at her.
"SAVE MY FRIENDS! RUN!!" Buu's scream echoed, scaring even 18.
18 just looked over at May and Sharpner. She didn't want to waste any time. She quickly scooped Bee up and Hercule. She glanced over at Sharpner.
"Get her and get to those rocks!" she flew off.
Sharpner quickly carried Erasa in his arms as he and May quickly ran after 18. While they didn't know what was going on, they just knew they had to listen.
Buu stood there in agonizing pain, obvious from just looking at him. He was screaming as a loud whistle kept erupting as steam surged from him, only causing more pain for Buu.
It seemed to last forever, but really it was only about half a minute. Buu was panting, exhausted at what just happened. Everybody else just watched, having no idea what was going on. Even the one that shot them was dumbstruck as he watched the cloud of smoke start floating up.
"What….what happened? Buu just screamed and let of some steam?" He asked confused.
"I..dont know what that was. But…" Sharpner suddenly stopped talking as it hit him.
Both him and 18 looked terrified up at the ball of smoke starting to from overhead. Hercule and May both noticed this and even Buu was staring up at it scared. But they didn't see anything.
They didn't have to wait long, as the smoke started condensing, slowly taking a more humanoid shape. 18 started shaking more than before, and Sharpner fell on his butt in fear. What was this! It was even strong, but felt super evil. He almost pissed himself in fear.
They soon saw the smoke solidify. It almost looked like Majin Buu. Just emaciated and grey. Buu looked up in horror, as if he knew what this monster was. Both Buu's just stared at one another. They grey one slowly descending towards the ground. He landed right in front of Buu, looking down at him as he was taller. He let out a loud shriek, almost deafening!
Buu started attacking the skinnier version of him, trying to quickly take him out. But the grey one was faster. Easily able to dodge it. He just grabbed Buu's hand and easily flung him away.
Buu went flying and slammed into a nearby mountain, covered in rubble as is collapsed upon him. But he quickly emerged flying towards the skinnier one. He threw a punch with all his might, but the thinner one just caught it. He let out a blast wave from his mouth, sending Buu flying back.
"Buu, turn you into chocolate!"
Buu let out a bright beam from his antenna, trying to turn this foe into candy. Knowing it was bad to do so, but this creature was bad. Everyone watched in horror, as the thinner one just smiled, took in a deep breath, and effortlessly blew the beam back!
The beam hit Buu, who screamed. Be it in fear or pain, it wasn't super clear as his body quickly shrunk down and became shiny brown. Hercule and the others watched in horror, not realizing what just happened either. One minute they were all calm and happy , the next they were shot at, and then the next there were 2 Majin Buu's.
Buu walked up to the chocolate Buu on the ground, before slowly and victorious picking it up. Like a hunter savoring the moment of catching its prey, he smiled and dropped it into his mouth. He took a few slow deliberate chews of the chocolate, before swallowing the meal. And then, it happened.
Majin Buu's energy shot through the sky as a pinkish purple aura flowed all around him, shaking the Earth. Even May trembling in fear, as she could feel it! They watched as the energy surged, causing the entire area to be covered in a giant dust storm.
The aura suddenly stopped, as the wind it kicked up ceased, as if it never was there. All three groups watched, Hercule, and May and Sharpner from the rocks. Van and Smitty from up on the ridge they had shoot from. And Dendei and the other from the lookout. It took a few minutes for the dust to start settling.
18 finally saw him. He looked a lot taller and thinner. But he was bulkier. It was nothing like the Majin Buu that was there before. And the energy this one was giving off was far more potent than the Majin Buu before.
Buu looked around briefly. Both at the rocks, and the Cliffside. Before smiling.
He instantly appeared in front of the gunman. Neither him nor Smitty had even seen him move! He was in the valley one moment and in front of them faster than the blink of the eye.
Van quickly got up and grabbed his Pistol from his waist, aiming it right at Buu. Though Buu just glared at them.
"Don't you fucking come closer you freak!" he shouted, before unloading his entire clip into Buu's face.
Buu just scowled at him the entire time, letting him finish. He wanted to have fun with this.
After a few empty clicks from the emptied gun, Buu held up his hands and smirked evilly, blasting two holes into him. One Right through one of his lungs, and the other through his neck and shoulder. Van fell backwards, the shock to his body killing him before he hit the ground. Smitty looked on in horror at what just happened, before Buu glanced down at him.
Buu shrieked a unnerving scream as he liquefied his arm and shot it down his Smittys mouth. His body frozen in shock as Buu poured more of his arm into his body. Buu pulled the man closer, as he stared him into the eyes, smiling. Smitty quickly felt something else wrong, and his body slowly started expanding. Buu quickly and violently poured the rest of himself into the man's body. Smitty felt everything, as if ever cell of his body was being pushed apart. He didn't have to wait long though as his body was quickly and aggressively blown up from the inside.
Majin Buu quickly reformed himself from the floating blobs. As he looked back now towards the rocks. He smiled and shot of towards them.
They watched in horror as they saw what Majin Buu, or this new Majin Buu, was doing to them. It was rather horrific. Though it was mostly 18 and Sharpner that could clearly see what happened. May couldn't see it as clearly, she still could make out what generally happened.
They all quickly saw Buu flying at them. Hercule quickly tried to dive and cover. May instinctually held out her pistol. Sharpner quickly tried getting Erasa in his arms so he was between them, and 18 was quick to defend everyone else behind her. But a few feet before getting to them, Buu just stopped mid air.
He took a moment to look at each of them. Hercule covering his head, clearly looking terrified. May was aiming straight at him, her body trembling. He saw Sharpner, glaring at him as he protected Erasa from him. Even this new girl he didn't recognize, other than the one that stopped Sharpner and Hercule from dyeing from a shot in the head.
A sudden bark came from below him. Buu straightened himself as he now looked down at Bee. He looked back at the group.
"Friends…." He muttered to himself.
18 could sense he wasn't going to attack anymore. Though she had no idea what changed. She was still ready to do something if needed. But she didn't even know what to expect.
Buu casually looked off into the distance and smiled, before looking back down at the group one more time and then blasting off in the direction he glanced at.
They all let out a sigh of relief, even 18. She didn't know what to expect. She still didn't know why she even got involved the way she did. But what's done is done.
"How many of you can fly?" she asked, glancing back at them.
"Just me Ma'am." Sharpner said.
"Your Gohana's friends right? Looks like I'll have to carry two of you then. Come on, Videl and Gohana will want to know you're safe at-"
It suddenly hit her what direction, and elevation, Buu was headed towards.
"Piccolo! Majin Buu is headed towards the lookout! And he's even stronger!" she suddenly shouted, not caring she verbally said it as well.
For a brief moment, everything at the lookout was calming down. Dendei kept smiling, glad that while not their conventional method, Majin Buu was stopped.
"I know it's not much Videl, but you should really be proud of your father. He really did save the day today! Your friends as well of course! Shaprner and Erasa!"
"Im just glad they're still alive! As soon as you told me they were with Majin Buu I feared the worse. Should we go tell Gohana and Piccolo?" she asked.
"Why don't you go in and get them. I'm sure of all people she'll be the happiest hearing it from you. And not seeing you for a little over a year!" Dendei smiled.
That's right, it has been just barely over a day for them, but over a year in the chamber. Videl could tell the general feeling at the lookout was one of relief. Though she knew there would be plenty more to do now, she guessed they would need to use the Dragon to revive people. Maybe even undo all the damage?
"Videl, can I come too?" Goten asked her.
"Of course you can Goten." She said ruffling his hair.
"Yeaaaah!" shouted an excited Goten, Chi Chi just smiling, relieved.
It took not even a second for nearly everybody at the lookout to suddenly shift to pure panic at the same time. What was that? They could all feel a sudden surge of evil intent. And it was even stronger than Majin Buu?
"No way, what is that?" Krillin asked.
"Its Majin Buu…he's…separated! They're two of them now!" Dendei answered in horror.
Everyone was frozen in fear. Even Videl, for a brief moment, forgot about Gohana in the chamber. She was too terrified to move from this energy. It wasn't hard to miss, at least for them. Minus Launch, Chi Chi Chi and Bulma, everyone else looked out in fear at this energy. But that only made the three of them even more worried.
"Vegeta, what's going on?" Bulma asked worried, before seeing a very visible shift in Vegeta. Yamcha and Krillin both fell down at the same time as well.
"N..n.no…way. What…is that thing?" Yamcha looked more terrified than he was when he was impaled by Dr Gero all those years ago .
Chi Chi was having a hard time, she could feel the tension in the air but that was it. Goten quickly gripping onto her dress, and the look on his face told Chi Chi more or less what she needed to know.
"What, no! He can sense where we are! He's coming" Dendei suddenly screamed! Everyone else feeling his ki surging towards them, faster than they thought possible.
Everyone froze in terror, unable to even move at all! It was as if Majin Buu's new terrifying energy was paralyzing them, and it wouldn't be long until he would get here.
"Bulma, hide!" Vegeta powered up to Super Saiyan 2, no point in hiding their ki anymore! The children, all scared but powered up to Super Saiyan, except Raina matching Vegeta.
They could already see Majin Buu on the horizon and the pit of their stomach they could feel it. They couldn't do anything and nobody had any idea what to do.
Majin Buu was mere feet from them, before Gohana's knee collided hard against his face, her face contorted in rage at him. He barely started flying back in the opposite direction from the impact alone before Gohana already charged a one handed Kamehameha, blasting it at him to get him farther away from them.
"Gohana!" Videl screamed in surprise and joy.
It was very clear to everyone she must have put herself through hell that year, they could see it in her physique. She just glared as she stopped the beam, and with a more calm but serious expression looked back at everyone and smiled.
"Vegeta, take the kids into the time chamber." They heard Cell as he walked towards Gohana.
"What? Why?" Vegeta barked.
"Because, if we don't beat Majin Buu, or die, they're the last chance the Earth, and probably the universe has. Not to mention they'll probably come after to want to help and just get in the way again if they're not strong enough. That and Piccolo wants to teach you all something" Gohana calmly explained, somewhat surprising everyone. She knew the kids too well, and didn't want a repeat like last time.
Videl was almost instantly on her, embracing her and crying almost! If she didn't have to she wouldn't have let her go. But she did, and noticed her outfit. Her bottoms were just her purple sparing pants and the combat boots she had on at the tournament. But her top was the shirt she worse at the tournament with her Saiyan styled Saiyako armor over it, Minus the sash and face covering, with wrist bands.
"Gohana, what's with the clothes?" She asked despite the situation.
"Well-" she blushed a bit, "I wanted to fight as an Earthling, and a Saiyan. So I just combined what I happened to have in there. Helped I had my watch with me."
"Gohana, you need to take this more seriously and not talk about fashion. Now shall we go?" Cell got close to her, causing Videl to shudder a bit and get behind Gohana, but Cell just placed his two fingers on his forehead.
"Yeah yeah, bug boy. Just hold your horses." She casually waved him off before turning around and kissing Videl deeply. This throwing everybody off how casually they spoke.
"Ill do my best to come back." She smiled lovingly at her
"You better! Otherwise I'll wish you back to life and kill you myself." Videl started crying.
" Gohana, did you figure out that God ki?" Vegeta asked, Gohana looking down slightly annoyed.
"Not fully."
Vegeta just nodded. He could guess what Piccolo had in mind for him. Though for the children he didn't. But he wasn't in the mood to argue.
Vegeta and the kids start heading towards the room. At this point Goahan knew she dilly dallied long enough. And she could sense Majin Buu slowing down. She went over and hand on Cell so he could teleport them both to Majin Buu.
"Alright, let's go." She said before looking back at Videl.
"I love-" Cell purpously teleported them away before she could finish her sentence.
