Ares' face furrowed into a snarl as the mortal crushed the dragon's skull under foot, "You will pay for your insolence, boy!"
The Doomslayer did not answer. Instead he glared, his furrowed eyes piercing Ares. The Doomslayer had not been in Greece very long, somehow appearing here after his battle with the Dark Lord Davoth. Since appearing here it had been one thing after another, and the Slayer was reminded of the Greek Pantheon's bullshit.
Their pettiness.
Their childishness when things did not go their way.
The crap they did to the humans who worshipped them.
The Slayer wasn't too happy about that last one. He reached into his hammerspace and pulled out the Super Shotgun. He loaded the shells into the ancient weapon and flicked the barrels back into place. The Doomslayer was going to make sure the Gods responsible paid.
