Onward to Hammerlocke
After everyone was done celebrating Sam's victory over Kabu, they all decide to head to the Budew Inn and get a few motel rooms for the night.
Right now, everyone was in the same room together, talking with their families.
"You were so cool, Sam!" said Simon Sharp.
"We're all happy for you." said Rita.
"So, what are you going to do now?" asked Lynn Sr. Lincoln looks at Clyde who brings up a map of the Galar Region and sees where the next gym is at.
"The next gym we're supposed to challenge is in a place called Stow-On-Side." said Clyde.
"When are you going to start heading over there?" asked Lynn Jr.
"I'm thinking we should go over to Professor Magnolia's place and get a Dynamax Band for Sam." said Luna.
"Yeah, she should be able to Dynamax her Pokemon also." said Lana.
"Totes." said Leni.
"Thanks, guys." said Sam. After they all talk for a bit longer, they end the call, and all go to their rooms to get some sleep.
The next morning, after everyone has breakfast, they start heading for the south exit of Motostoke.
"I can't wait to get to the next gym!" said Lana with excitement.
"I love having an entire stadium of people cheering for me." said Lola.
"Then let's get going!" said Lincoln.
"We still need to stop by Professor Magnolia's place to get a Dynamax Band for Sam." said Luna.
"Thanks for reminding me, Luna." said Lincoln.
"But doesn't she need a Wishing Star to make one with?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"What's that?" asked Sam.
"It's something you need to make a Dynamax Band." said Luna.
"Where can I get one?" asked Sam.
"They appear to those who hold a true wish in their hearts." said Leni.
"Try making a wish." said Lola. Sam nods and clasps her hands together while closing her eyes; a few seconds later, a Wishing Star crashes into the ground in front of her.
"That was easy." said Sam as she bends down and picks it up. After that, they all start walking to the exit to Motostoke.
"Hey, guys!" everyone hears Hop shout out, making them look to see him running over to them.
"Hey, Hop!" said Lincoln.
"I saw your friend winning her Fire Badge yesterday." said Hop.
"I know; now she has three badges like we do." said Luna.
"So, what are you guys going to do now?" asked Hop.
"We're going to stop by Professor Magnolia's place to get Sam her own Dynamax Band." said Lincoln. "After that, we'll start making our way to the next gym."
"I heard the gym leader is Allister." said Hop.
"The ghost type user?" asked Lucy with interest in her voice from behind Hop, frightening him.
"Yeah, that's him." said Hop after getting over his near, Lucy-induced, heart attack.
"Thanks for the info." said Ronnie Anne. Suddenly, the group notices Kabu running towards them.
"Hey, Mr. Kabu." said Hop. "You came to see us off?"
"There are many trainers who never manage to gather three gym badges, and they just give up on the Gym Challenge altogether." said Kabu.
"What a bunch of quitters." said Lola with disdain in her voice.
"That's why I make it a point to see off any trainers who are able to defeat me." said Kabu. Suddenly; Milo and Nessa come running over and each stand to one side of him.
"Whew, we made it." said Nessa. "Thank goodness for Flying Taxis."
"Hi, Nessa!" said Leni.
"Hey, Leni!" said Nessa. "Congratulations to all of you; it's pretty amazing how every one of you defeated Kabu!"
"Not a lot of Gym Challengers are able to get a Gym Badge from Kabu!" said Milo. "We like to get together to see them off, as a way of showing our support."
"So, allow me to send you off with a proper, sporty chant!" said Kabu before taking a deep breath. "Hustle, hustle, hustle, Leni, Luna, Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Sam! You can do it, you can do it, Ronnie Anne, Lincoln, Clyde, and Hop!" He lets out a breath of relief.
"That must've been a mouthful for you." said Lana.
"But thanks all the same." said Clyde.
"The Gym Leaders you will all face ahead are all tough opponents." said Kabu. "But I believe that you will prevail! Believe in your Pokemon and keep pushing on!"
"Thanks, you all!" said Hop. "We're all gonna keep winning! We've got to if we want to face-off in the Champion Cup, after all!"
"Yeah!" cheered everyone in Lincoln's group.
"Come on, everyone!" said Hop. "Let's head for Hammerlocke!" With that, everyone starts running out of the city. When everyone was in the Wild Area, they look around and look back at everything they've all been through.
"Hello again, Wild Area, my old friend!" shouts Hop. "I've come back to you even stronger than before!"
"We all have!" shouts Lana.
"I can't wait to see what other kinds of Pokemon we see on our journey!" said Lola.
"Maybe more cute ones!" said Leni.
"Or maybe some rockin' ones!" said Luna.
"Yeah!" said Sam.
"But our first stop is Professor Magnolia's lab to get Sam a Dynamax Band." said Clyde.
"Yeah; first things first." said Lincoln.
"But, how do we get to Hammerlocke after we do?" asked Lucy.
"Yeah, Hammerlocke is up that way; got it?" said Hop before pointing to a bridge going across a nearby river. "And, yeah, you could certainly rush there without taking a single detour."
"Thanks, Hop." said Sam.
"And the Pokemon on the way from there to Hammerlocke are much stronger than the ones you've seen so far." said Hop.
"That just means better training for our Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"And I'll be catching amazing Pokemon to fill in the next page in the tale of my legend." said Hop.
"Don't waste your effort; it's not any of you would ever make it through the gym challenge anyway." said a familiar voice. They all looked to see Bede walking over to them, much to the dismay of everyone. "The champion really must've been off his rocker to endorse the likes of all of you." He turned towards Hop. "I mean, it seems Hop can't throw a pokeball properly."
"Rubbish. More like you know enough to recognize greatness when you see it." replied Hop. "My throws are the greatest, and my bro is the finest the world has ever seen."
"That's right!" said Lincoln.
"I'm not going to listen to you insult him." said Hop.
"How tiresome; fine, I'll battle you over there." said Bede, pointing at another direction. "Maybe that will finally help you understand just how weak you are."
"You're on, then." said Hop. "I know you challenged Lincoln over there in Galar Mine No. 2 and lost to him, and he only needed one Pokemon to beat all of yours."
"Yeah; kicked your butt." said Ronnie Anne.
"You have no chance in beating me." Hop said to Bede.
"All this prattle about Lincoln, and the champion, and whatnot." said Bede. "Don't you have anything of your own to show?" Bede then turns and walks away.
"I'll show this wally my real skills in battle." said Hop.
"Yeah; show that jerk!" said Lana.
"We're going to Professor Magnolia's lab; we'll catch up with you at Hammerlocke." said Lincoln.
"See you then." said Hop. He runs off after Bede. Luna walks to Sam.
"Now, let's get you a Dynamax Band." said Luna.
"Awesome." said Sam. Lincoln used his Rotom Phone to call for some flying taxis. Several minutes later, they arrived. After climbing into them, they took off towards the direction of Professor Magnolia's lab to get Sam's Wishing Star made into her own Dynamax Band.
