Getting the Sisters Started
It has been four days since Leni, Lynn Jr, Lucy, and Lana arrived in Paldea and got enrolled in Naranja Academy.
Lincoln and Clyde have been helping the sisters get caught up with them in terms of knowledge concerning Pokemon, with the help of Nemona, Arven, and Penny.
Leni and Arven have been hanging out with each other a lot, doing lots of stuff together, including studying, Leni's clothes shopping, as well as Arven's ingredient purchases.
Sometimes, Arven would go over to Leni's dorm room and make meals for her, being considerate of her no fat and cholesterol diet. They always ate together while looking at each other with blushes on their faces.
Lynn has been hanging out with Ms. Dendra; doing intense workouts with her, and helping her put Lincoln and Clyde through them.
The day Lincoln's sisters arrived, Lincoln helped Lucy get into the Ghost Pokemon Club; the night after that, the club went on an outing to the old ruins in South Province Area One, where Lucy saw several ghost Pokemon and enjoyed every minute of it.
Lana always kept her Rellor out of her pokeball; we mean, what's not for Lana to like about a Pokemon who keeps a big ball of mud around all the time?
The sisters used some of the pokedollars they received after exchanging their US currency to buy Rotom Phones.
The Loud sisters who were in Paldea always hung around their brother whenever he talked to Iono on the Rotom Phone, making them giggle with delight whenever Iono winks at him or gives air kisses.
Overall, the Loud sisters were adjusting to being in the Paldea just fine, and having a lot of fun there.
Right now, Lincoln, Clyde, Leni, Lynn, Lana, Nemona, Arven, and Penny were hanging outside the academy.
"Can we go out and catch some more Pokemon for ourselves, Linky?" Leni asked her only brother.
"Yeah, I think you're all ready." said Lincoln.
"Sweet!" said Lynn.
"Why do you have your Rellor out all the time, Lana?" Nemona asked the muddy Loud sister.
"I wanna see how big she can get her mud ball." said Lana as she looks at the ball of mud that doubled in size since she caught Rellor.
"Want our help?" asked Arven as he looks over at Leni who was doing the same to him, both with blushes on their faces.
"Sure." said Leni.
"Where's Lucy?" asked Penny.
"Right here." said Lucy from behind everyone, startling them, making Nemona wrap her arms around Lincoln, Leni leap into Arven's arms, and Penny cling to Clyde.
"How does she do that?" asked Nemona.
"Still haven't figured that out yet." said Lynn. Nemona lets go of Lincoln with a blush on her face when she realized she was holding the white-haired Loud, as well as Penny doing the same with Clyde; Arven and Leni look into each other's eyes before Arven gently sets Leni down.
"I want to check out the ruins." said Lucy.
"That's fine." said Lincoln.
"Let's head out then." said Clyde. Before they could take a step, Lincoln's Rotom Phone rings; he answers it, showing his family still in Royal Woods, out on the Loud house's front porch.
"Hi, Mom." said Lincoln.
"Hi, sweetie." said Rita.
"How are your sisters doing there?" asked Lynn Sr.
"We're doing awesome!" said Lynn Jr.
"It's been really fun here!" said Lana.
"I like the Ghost Pokemon Club that I joined." said Lucy.
"Figures you'd, literally, like something like that." said Lori. Lincoln hears several voices in the background that didn't belong to the family members still in Royal Woods.
"Who's that talking?" asked Lincoln. Rita points her device towards a bunch of people who were standing out in their front yard.
"Some people in Royal Woods want you to send them some Pokemon." said Rita.
"I want a cute one!" said one of Lola's pageant friends.
"We want a ghost one to be our mascot." said Haiku who had the rest of the Morticians' Club members with her.
"Hey, Loud; remember me?" asked Chandler McCann.
"Unfortunately... yes." said Lincoln.
"Whatever; my friends and I want those Pokemon we've seen your sisters riding around on." said Chandler.
"You mean Cyclizars?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah, those ones." said Chandler. A bunch of other kids starting asking for Pokemon for themselves, even offering US currency to help with purchasing pokeballs to catch them with.
"We'll get on that as soon as we can." said Lincoln. After the kids left after making their requests, the Loud parents continue to talk to their children who are in Paldea.
"What are you all gonna do now?" asked Luna.
"We're heading out somewhere to look for Pokemon for ourselves." said Lana.
"We'll go to South Province Area One; it's a good place for trainers who are just starting out." said Clyde.
"I can't wait to get started!" said Lana.
"Have fun, kids." said Lynn Sr. Lincoln then ends the call before he takes out his Cyclizar's pokeball and lets him out of it, prompting Clyde, Lana, and Lynn to do the same with theirs while Arven lets out his Koraidon.
"Let's get going." said Lincoln as he hops on his Cyclizar with Nemona hopping up and sitting behind him with her arms wrapped around Lincoln's chest, making him blush.
Arven holds out his hand to Leni who grabs it, allowing him to pull her up and set her down on Koraidon behind him before Leni wraps her arms around his chest, making both teens blush.
Clyde gets on his Cyclizar and helps Penny onto it; the girl shyly wraps her arms around Clyde's chest, making both kids blush.
After Lynn helps Lucy onto her Cyclizar, while Lana gets onto hers with her Rellor, the group head for the south gate of Mesagoza.
"Remember what Ms. Dendra wants you to do, bro?" Lynn asked her brother.
"After each outing on my Cyclizar, do a mile-long run." said Lincoln.
"Exactly." said Lynn.
The group soon leaves Mesagoza and heads through South Province Area Once until they reach a small neighborhood called Los Platos.
"This looks like a nice little area." said Leni.
"All sorts of Pokemon around here." said Arven.
"Let's head out, everyone!" said Lynn. Everyone pairs up and head out in different directions.
With Leni and Arven, they were exploring a small area that had a river in it. Leni was looking around while walking, not noticing the small rock in front of her; she trips over it, but Arven catches her in his arms, stopping her from hitting the ground. They look into each other's eyes for a few seconds when they hear something nearby; Leni looks to see a Ralts walking by.
"O-M-Gosh; a Ralts!" said Leni.
"You know about them?" asked Arven.
"Totes; Lincoln sent one to Lisa back in Royal Woods." replied Leni. "I wanted to play with it because it was, totes, adorbs, but Lisa wouldn't let me because she wanted to study it; now I can catch one of my very own." Arven releases Leni from his arms, much to both teens dismay and Leni takes out a pokeball.
"Vulpix, like, go!" said Leni, tossing her Vulpix's pokeball and releasing her. "Okay, Vulpix, like, use Tail Whip!" Vulpix leaps at Ralts and wags her tail into it, weakening Ralts defense. The Ralts releases pink soundwaves from its body and they hit Vulpix, but not doing much damage.
"That looked like Disarming Voice; good thing fire types like Vulpix are resistant to fairy type moves." said Arven.
"Vulpix, Quick Attack!" said Leni. Vulpix charges at Ralts with incredible speed and rams it, knocking it back. The Ralts lifts its head, revealing its eyes, which glows blue; Vulpix gets lifted off the ground and gets thrown into a tree, hurting her.
"Vulpix, use Ember!" said Leni. Vulpix releases small bits of fire from her mouth and they hit Ralts, damaging it, and knocking it to the ground.
"I think it's weak enough, Leni." said Arven. Leni nods before pulling an empty pokeball out of her backpack and throws it at Ralts; it hits Ralts and it gets sucked into the pokeball. It wiggled a few times until it clicked.
"Yay; I, like, caught Ralts!" said Leni before hugging Arven, making him blush. Leni lets go of Arven and takes out her Rotom Phone to look up her new Ralts information. "This says my Ralts is a girl, she knows Growl, Disarming Voice, Double Team, and Confusion; she has the Trace ability which makes her copy the ability of a Pokemon she's facing."
"So, if she faces a Pokemon that has the Immunity ability, she'll have that ability also." said Arven.
"Yay!" said Leni.
With Lucy, she was with her Greavard, checking out the large lid with purple symbols that was chained to the side of a cliff.
"Hmmm. I sense a strong presence contained in this." said Lucy.
"Woof!" said Greavard.
"I am uncertain what it is." said Lucy. "Perhaps we will learn the answer in time."
Greavard sniffs the air around them before looking towards the nearby ruins, making Lucy look to see a Pokemon that looked like a floating black ball with eyes and a mouth, covered in a purple haze.
"What is this Pokemon?" asked Lucy as she takes out her black Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Gastly, the Gas Pokemon. It wraps its opponent in its gas-like body, slowly weakening its prey by poisoning it through the skin." said Lucy's Rotom Phone.
"My Rotom Phone says that you're part ghost type, so I will definitely catch you." said Lucy; her Greavard runs in front of her and stares down the Gastly who stares back at her.
"Greavard, use Lick." said Lucy. Her Greavard leaps at the Gastly and licks it, dealing super effective damage; the Gastly starts to twitch uncontrollably. "It's paralyzed now." The Gastly tries to strike back, but its condition prevents it from doing so. Seeing an opportunity, she takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Gastly, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Wicked." said Lucy. She looks up her new capture on her Rotom Phone. "This says that my new Gastly's a girl, you know Confuse Ray, Lick, Hypnosis, and Mean Look; you also have the Levitate ability which I remember makes her immune to ground attacks."
She looks over at her Greavard who was digging in the ground for something.
"You would be a great help in grave digging." said Lucy. Greavard pulls what appeared to be a large mushroom with an orange, yellow-spotted cap. "Perhaps I can use that in one of my elixirs."
Lynn was exploring another part of South Province Area One; she suddenly sees a Tera Den nearby.
"I wonder what's in there." said Lynn. She walks into the Tera Den; she soon found herself looking at a crystalized Pokemon that looked like a big pokeball with eyes and a large light bulb on top of it. She takes out her Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Voltorb, the Ball Pokemon. It rolls to move. If the ground is uneven, a sudden jolt from hitting a bump can cause it to explode." said Lynn's Rotom Phone.
"Ball, huh? Makes me think of basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs." said Lynn. She takes out a pokeball. "I'm catching this one; go, Crabrawler!" She throws her Crabrawler's pokeball and releases her. "Okay, Crabrawler, Rock Smash!" Crabrawler leaps at Voltorb while her pincer glows white and she smashes it onto Voltorb, damaging it, and weakening its defense. The Voltorb releases stars from its body and they hit Crabrawler, damaging her.
"Oh yeah?! Crabrawler, Payback!" said Lynn. Crabrawler releases black streaks of energy from her body and they hit Voltorb, dealing more damage than it normally would due to Voltorb's defense being weakened and Payback's power being doubled due to Crabrawler getting damaged before she used the move. Voltorb rolls towards Crabrawler and rams her, but not dealing much damage.
"Crabrawler, Bubble Beam!" said Lynn. Crabrawler releases a beam of glowing bubbles from one of her pincers and it hits Voltorb; its Tera Form shatters and it collapses. Lynn takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Voltorb while it crystalizes and it hits Voltorb, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled until the crystal layer of the pokeball breaks off and it clicked. "Yes! Voltorb's mine!" The cavern lights up and Lynn soon found herself back in South Province Area One; she sees berries and a couple tiny mushrooms. She picks them up and puts them in her backpack. She looks up her new Voltorb's information on her Rotom Phone.
"Okay; my Voltorb has no gender, but it knows Charge, Tackle, Thunder Shock, Eerie Impulse, Spark, Rollout, Screech, Charge Beam, and Swift." said Lynn. "It has the Static ability which has a chance of paralyzing a Pokemon that hits it physicially."
With Lana, she was with her Rellor in another part of South Province Area One, surrounded by a group of Tarountulas.
"So, you all wanna rumble?" Lana asked the spider Pokemon who all glare at her. "Then you got one; Rellor, use Rollout!" Her Rellor hops onto her mud ball and rolls it at the Tarountulas, hitting several of them, dealing super effective damage and knocking them out; a couple of them leap at Rellor and ram her, knocking her back.
"Don't take that from those guys!" said Lana. "Keep using Rollout, Rellor!" Her Rellor continues rolling around, slamming into the remaining few, dealing super effective damage, and knocking them out.
"That'll show them!" said Lana. Her Rellor climbs up onto her mud ball and it, along with her, start to glow.
"Rellor, you're evolving!" said Lana. She watches as her Rellor and her mud ball start to change; when she was done, she was bigger, had a metallic light blue body with a red face, a small, four-pointed star on her forehead, her legs were bigger, and four, hornlike protusions coming out of her face; her ball of mud was now a red orb with a core in it and was mostly covered by a lumpy purple coating. Lana points her Rotom Phone at her newly evolved Rellor.
"Rabasca, the Rolling Pokemon, and the evolved form of Rellor. The body that supports the ball barely moves. Therefore, it is thought that the true body of this Pokémon is actually inside the ball." said Lana's Rotom Phone.
"Awww.. I liked that mud ball; but I'm glad that you evolved." said Lana. "And this says you're part psychic type now, and have the Synchronize ability which makes you give your opponent the status condition it might give you."
Clyde and Penny were in another part of South Province Area One, looking around.
"Are you still going to take on the rest of Team Star's bases, Clyde?" asked Penny.
"Yeah; I gave Cassiopeia my word." said Clyde. "Plus; thanks to all that battling in Kitakami, my Pokemon are stronger than they were when we arrived there, so they may be ready." Penny smiles in response; Clyde suddenly sees a Tera Den. "Hey, a Tera Den; want to check it out?"
"Sure." replied Penny. She and Clyde walk to the Tera Den and entered it; they soon found themselves in a cavern, facing a crystallized Pokemon that looked like a tumbleweed with eyes and a crystallized ghost on top of it. Clyde points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Bramblin, the Tumbleweed Pokemon. A soul unable to move on to the afterlife was blown around by the wind until it got tangled up with dried grass and became a Pokémon." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"By the crystallized ghost on top of it, Bramblin's Tera Form must be ghost type." said Penny. Clyde takes out a pokeball from his waist.
"Pyroar, go!" said Clyde, throwing Pyroar's pokeball, and releasing him. "Pyroar, Fire Fang!" Pyroar leaps at Bramblin while fire surrounded his fangs and he bites Bramblin, damaging it; fire surrounded Bramblin's body.
"It's burned." said Penny. Bramblin releases a barrage of seeds from its body and they hit Pyroar, but not dealing much damage; one of the seeds hits the ground near Penny, making her jump to Clyde and wrap her arms around him; they look at each other and blush before Penny releases Clyde and looks away. Bramblin flinches in pain from its burn.
"Pyroar, Ember!" said Clyde. Pyroar releases bits of fire from his mouth and they hit Bramblin, dealing damage. Bramblin rolls towards Pyroar and rams him, dealing super effective damage; Bramblin flinches in pain from its burn.
"Pyroar, Fire Fang once more." said Clyde. Pyroar charges at Bramblin with fiery fangs and he bites Bramblin, shattering its Tera Form, and it collapses. Clyde takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Bramblin, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggled until it clicked. "Yes! I caught Bramblin!"
"Good work, Clyde." said Penny. They soon found themselves back in South Province Area One; a few berries and pearls laid where the Tera Den use to be. Clyde looks up his new Bramblin's information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says my Bramblin's a girl, she knows Defense Curl, Rollout, Astonish, Absorb, Rapid Spin, Bullet Seed, Infestation, and Shadow Sneak; she has the Wind Rider ability which increses her attack strength when Tailwind's in effect or when she's hit with a wind move." said Clyde.
With Lincoln and Nemona; Lincoln just captured a Happiny to send to Lola's pageant friends.
"I think Lola's friends will love this Pokemon." said Lincoln. "But there's one Pokemon I can think of that I am definitely certain they will like."
"Which one?" asked Nemona.
"One of Eevee's evolutions." said Lincoln. "Next time I'm in the area I found the two I caught before, I'll find one and start training it."
"Okay, Lincoln." said Nemona. As Lincoln looks around some more, he spots a Tera Den nearby.
"Let's see what's in there." said Lincoln.
"Maybe there'll be a Pokemon someone where you're from would like." Nemona replied. They both go over to the Tera Den and crawl inside it; they enter the cavernous area and quickly spot a small, purple crystallized Pokemon with a lightning bolt-shaped protrusion coming out of its head, along with four cone-shaped spikes; it has a lavender spot on its chest that looked like a bib, and a lavender part covering its tail and lower body, resembling a diaper.
"It's a Toxel." said Lincoln as he points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Toxel, the Baby Pokemon. It has no problem drinking dirty water. An organ inside Toxel's body filters such water into a poisonous liquid that is harmless to Toxel." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"I know about this Pokemon's evolved form, so I'm certain that Luna and Sam would like this one once I train it until it evolves." said Lincoln. He sees a crystallized rock temple on the Toxel's head. "Looks like its Tera Form is rock, which would suit Luna and Sam also." He takes out his Pawmot's pokeball and lets her out of it.
"Get it, Lincoln!" said Nemona.
"Pawmot, use Arm Thrust!" said Lincoln. His Pawmot charges at the Toxel and hits it with her palms multiple times, doing super effective damage; the Toxel responds by releasing a spray of acid from its mouth, hitting Pawmot, and lowering her special defense. "Okay, Pawmot, use Spark!" His Pawmot charges at the Toxel while her body becomes covered in electricity and rams into Toxel.
"Good thing it's in its Tera Form." said Nemona. The Toxel growls at Pawmot, lowering her attack power.
"Pawmot, use Slam!" said Lincoln. His Pawmot runs over to Toxel, grabs it, and slams it hard onto the cavern floor, shattering its Tera Form.
"Catch it, Lincoln!" said Nemona. Lincoln quickly takes out an empty pokeball and tosses it at the Toxel, hitting it while it was covered in a crystal shell, and sucking it in; the pokeball's crystal shell shatters before it clicks.
"Yes! I caught a Toxel!" said Lincoln. He looks up his new Pokemon's data on his Rotom Phone. "This says my Toxel's a girl, she knows Growl, Acid, Flail, Belch, Nuzzle, and Tearful Look; she has the Static ability like my Pawmot did back when she was a Pawmi."
"Congratulations, Lincoln!" said Nemona as she grabs Lincoln and nuzzles his cheek, making him blush, and Nemona quickly let go; Lincoln sees some berries, along with three pearls, and grabs them.
"I'll send two of these to Lola later on." said Lincoln. A growling was heard, making Lincoln look to see Nemona putting her hand on her stomach.
"Guess it's about time for lunch." said Nemona with a blush.
"Yeah, I could use a bite to eat." said Lincoln. "I'll call my sisters and Clyde and have them, along with Arven and Penny, meet up with us in front of Mesagoza."
"Let's go then." said Nemona as she grabs Lincoln's hand and starts pulling him towards the city.
Five minutes later, they reach Mesagoza's south gate, where they see Lincoln's sisters, Clyde, Penny, and Arven, all waiting in front of it.
"Hey, everybody!" said Lincoln.
"Hi, Linky." said Leni with a smile; she and the others look at Nemona still holding Lincoln's hand, making them chuckle, and Nemona let go with a blush on her face.
"What have you all been up to?" asked Lincoln.
"We'll tell you over lunch." said Arven.
"Good idea." said Lincoln. He and the others enter the city and head for a restaurant called Seafood Fresco; as they ate, everyone talks about what they did in South Province Area One.
"It's so cool your Rellor evolved so soon, Lana." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, but I'll miss that ball of mud she had." said Lana.
"What are you going to do with your Toxel, Lincoln?" asked Clyde.
"I'll work on training her until she evolves." said Lincoln. "After that, I'll send her to Luna and Sam, and I'll also mail two of the pearls I got to Lola, as well as send her pageant friends the Happiny I caught for them."
"What should we do after lunch?" asked Lynn.
"We can go to South Province Area Two and let you and our sisters explore it." said Lincoln.
"We'll come with also." said Clyde as he gestures to himself, Nemona, Arven, and Penny.
"Let's hurry and finish eating." said Lana as she and the others continue their meals.
Lincoln's sisters have just started to get a taste of what being a Pokemon trainer is all about, along with some seafood. What else will they, Lincoln, and Clyde experience as their Paldea adventures continue?
