After taking down Atticus's Team Star squad, the group exits the base and start to make their way out of Tagtree Thicket. As they do, Clyde's Rotom Phone flies out of his pocket and hovers in front of him.
"Hello, Clyde." said Cassiopeia's voice.
"Hi, Cassiopeia." Clyde replied.
"Congratulations on taking down another Team Star base." said Cassiopeia.
"Just two more remaining." said Clyde. Just then, notifications appear on Clyde, Lincoln, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, and Nemona's Rotom Phones, making them look to see that they each received 10,000 pokedollars in League Points.
"Where did this come from?" asked Lucy.
"Just a little thank you for helping out with my goal." said Cassiopeia.
"Sweet." said Lynn.
"I'm also sending Penny over to give you your reward for your assistance, Clyde."said Cassiopeia. "And feel free to share with your friends who assisted you."
"I will." said Clyde. His Rotom Phone flies back into his pocket and everyone waits for a minute before Penny comes walking over to them.
"Hi, everyone." said Penny before she looks at Clyde with a blush on her face.
"So, what do you have for us?" asked Lynn.
"Just some material to make TMs with, along with some recipes." said Penny.
"Thanks, Penny." said Clyde, making Penny blush some more.
"So, what's the plan?" asked Lynn. Lincoln looks up at the sky and sees the sun was starting to go down.
"I think we should call it a day." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, it is getting a little dark out." said Leni.
"I don't mind that." said Lucy.
"Of course you wouldn't." Lynn replied.
"What's the nearest town from here?" asked Clyde. Lincoln brings up his map on his Rotom Phone.
"It looks like the nearest one is a place called Zapapico." said Lincoln. He then uses his Rotom Phone to swap his Tinkaton for his Cyclizar; he lets his Ride Pokemon out and hops on with Nemona and Iono, with Leni riding with Arven, Penny riding with Clyde, Lucy riding with Lynn, and Lana riding on her own.
"I'm sitting on his lap this time." said Iono as she sits on Lincoln's lap, making him blush.
"Next time it's my turn!" said Nemona as she wraps her arms around Lincoln's chest and holds him tight to her body, making his face turn red.
"Let's go." said Clyde. The group rides off towards Zapapico; they reach their destination just as the sun was starting to set.
"Got here just in time." said Lincoln.
"Let's find a motel for the night." said Arven. As the group looks around town, a man with dark skin, gray hair, wearing a pink plaid shirt with white pants, and light brown shoes, walks over to them.
"Hello, children." the man said.
"Hi, can we help you?" asked Lincoln.
"I am a collector of curiosities, and a great lover of Bronzor." said the man. "I have something that might interest you in exchange for 10 Bronzor fragments."
"Do we have that many?" asked Lynn.
"During our training in South Province Area Two, I think I battled a few Bronzors near the ruins where I first found my Tinkatink." said Lincoln as he looks through his backpack at the stuff he collected from Pokemon he defeated before; he soon finds enough of the objects the man wanted.
"Excellent." said the man as Lincoln hands him the Bronzor fragments.
"What is my brother getting?" asked Lynn. The man hands Lincoln a tan-colored chest plate with a red design across its chest.
"Cool!" said Lana.
"That's Auspicious Armor." said the man.
"Can I wear it?" asked Lana.
"You could, but it would be more beneficial to the Pokemon called a Charcadet." said the man.
"I have one on my team." said Lincoln.
"How would that armor help Charcadet?" asked Lynn.
"It will allow it to evolve." said the man.
"Really?!" asked Lincoln.
"Yes." the man replied. Lincoln takes out his Charcadet's pokeball and lets him out of it.
"Hey, Charcadet." Lincoln says to his Pokemon before holding out the Auspicious Armor. "Would you like to evolve?" Charcadet thinks for a few seconds before nodding before Lincoln slips the chestplate onto his Pokemon; a few seconds later, Charcadet starts to glow.
"He's evolving!" said Lana. Everyone watches as Charcadet starts to change; when he was done, Charcadet was taller, his fire plumage was bigger, his arms and legs were longer, and the armor was now yellow and red, with pauldrons floating over his shoulders.
"This... is... awesome!" said Lincoln before he points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Charcadet.
"Armarouge, the Fire Warrior Pokemon, and the evolved form of Charcadet. Armarouge evolved through the use of a set of armor that belonged to a distinguished warrior. This Pokémon is incredibly loyal." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"And this says my Armarouge is part fire and part psychic types, and he now knows Psyshock and Mystical Fire after evolving!" Lincoln says with excitement.
"Congratulations, buddy." said Clyde.
After all the excitement was done, the group soon finds a motel and get rooms for themselves for the night.
"Don't forget we still have to meet Ronnie Anne at the airport tomorrow morning." said Leni.
"I'll set the alarm on my Rotom Phone to wake me up early enough to get there in time." said Lincoln as he takes out his Rotom Phone. Once he set his alarm, everyone started going to their rooms; as Lincoln was about to open the door to the one he was sharing with Clyde and Arven, a hand grabs his shoulder and turns him around, making him look to see Nemona looking at him.
"Here's a little goodnight kiss for you." Nemona says before she kisses him on the lips, making his face turn red; he was suddenly turned to his left to see Iono.
"Here's one from me." said Iono before she kisses him on the lips, making steam come out his ears; the two girls glare at each other before they go to their rooms without taking their eyes off each other.
"Rusty would be jealous of you, buddy." said Clyde.
"Let's... get some sleep." said Lincoln after he shakes his head to get the cobwebs out. As Arven starts to walk in after Lincoln and Clyde, he feels a hand on his shoulder; he looks and blushes when he sees Leni.
"G-goodnight, Arven." Leni says before she quickly kisses Arven on the cheek, making both teens blush heavily.
"G-goodnight, Leni." said Arven.
After everyone showered and took care of their teeth, they all go right to bed.
That night, Lucy decides to leave Zapapico to see what Pokemon lurked outside the town at night.
"I should find a Pokemon for my friends at the Mortician's Club." said Lucy. She begins to look around; she soon comes across a Pokemon that looked like a teacup with a face that had a purple liquid in it. Lucy points her Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Sinistea, the Black Tea Pokemon. The soul of someone who died alone possessed some leftover tea. This Pokémon appears in hotels and houses." said Lucy's Rotom Phone.
"Wicked; I'm sure the Morticians' Club would enjoy this Pokemon." said Lucy before pulling out a pokeball. "Gastly, go." She tosses Gastly's pokeball and releases her. The Sinistea floats at Gastly while the purple liquid in it formed an arm and fist and punches Gastly, dealing super effective damage.
"Gastly, use Payback." said Lucy. Gastly releases black streams of energy from her body, and they hit Sinistea, dealing super effective damage. Sinistea floats at Gastly and the purple liquid turns into a head with a scary face that scares Gastly and deals super effective damage to her.
"Gastly, use Lick." said Lucy. Gastly licks Sinistea, dealing super effective damage to it and falls to the ground. Lucy takes out one of her new Dusk Balls and throws it at Sinistea; the Dusk Ball hits Sinistea and sucks it in. The Dusk Ball wiggled a few times until it clicked. "I have captured a Sinistea." Sinistea's Dusk Ball vanishes and gets transported to storage; Gastly suddenly freezes up and begins to glow.
"Gasp; Gastly is evolving." said. Lucy. She looks as Gastly begins to change shape; when Gastly stopped glowing, she was purple with three spike-like protrusions on each side of it and had a pair of disembodied hands. Lucy points her Rotom Phone at her newly evolved Gastly.
"Haunter, the Gas Pokemon, and the evolved form of Gastly. It likes to lurk in the dark and tap shoulders with a gaseous hand. Its touch causes endless shuddering." said Lucy's Rotom Phone.
"Congratulations, Haunter; and this says you learned Shadow Punch when you evolved." said Lucy. She then uses her Rotom Phone to look up Sinistea's information.
"This says Sinistea has no gender, it knows Withdraw, Astonish, Aromatic Mist, Mega Drain, and Sucker Punch; it has the Weak Armor ability, which weakens its defense but raises its speed when hit by an attack." said Lucy; she lets out a yawn. "I better return to the motel and rest before braving the sun in the morning; I only hope it's a gloomy day tomorrow." She returns Haunter to her pokeball and walks back to Zapapico; she soon enters the motel room she is sharing with her sisters, Nemona, and Iono before climbing into an empty spot on the bed Lana was in and falls asleep.
Early the next morning, Lincoln's Rotom Phone alarm goes off, waking him, Clyde, and Arven.
"Morning, buddy." Clyde says as he rubs his eyes.
"Morning." said Lincoln.
"Ready to go meet with Ronnie Anne?" asked Clyde.
"Once I get dressed and we all have breakfast." said Lincoln as he starts to change into his regular clothes.
Back at Royal Woods, Luan was drowsily sitting on the side of her bed; she slips one of her feet into one of her bunny slippers.
'SNAP!'
"OW!" yelled Luan. She pulls her foot out of her slipper to see a mousetrap clamped onto it. "Dang it, Impidimp!" Impidimps giggles from Luan and Luna's bedroom door before running off; Luan pulls the mousetrap off her foot before she runs after Impidimp, only to trip over a wire that was below the door and falls facefirst into a bowl of tapioca pudding. "Dang it twice, Impidimp!"
Back in Paldea, everyone meets in the motel lobby and goes to a small restaurant to eat, with Iono and Nemona both sitting next to Lincoln; Lucy also tells everyone else about the Sinistea she caught, along with her Gastly evolving.
"You had a busy night." said Lynn.
"Do you think Ronnie Anne's flight is almost at the airport?" asked Lana as she has some toast.
"If so, we'd better hurry." said Lincoln as he eats some pancakes.
"Let me take care of something first." said Lucy as she takes her Rotom Phone out of her pocket and calls her mom.
"Hi, sweetie." said Rita.
"I'm sending over a Pokemon for my friends at the Mortician's Club." said Lucy; she then uses her Rotom Phone to send her Sinistea over to the Loud house, as well as telling her mother all about it.
"I'll have Lola bring it to them at school." said Rita.
"Thank you." said Lucy. She ends the call and everyone exits the restaurant, get onto their Ride Pokemon, and take off towards the Paldea International Airport.
Later, at the Royal Woods Elementary School, Lola was looking around for the members of the Mortician's Club.
"Where are Lucy's creepy friends?" asked Lola.
"Hi." a voice from behind her said, startling Lola, and making her look to see Bertrand, Haiku, Boris, Peresphone, Dante, and Morpheus, all looking at her.
"Were you looking for us?" asked Haiku.
"Y-yes." Lola says as she recovers from her fright; she reaches into her backpack and pulls out Sinistea's Dusk Ball. "Lucy sent you a Pokemon."
"Very good." said Bertrand as he takes the Dusk Ball from Lola.
"Why does this pokeball look different from other ones we've seen?" asked Haiku.
"I don't know." said Lola. Bertrand pushes the button on the Dusk Ball, enlarging it, and tosses it, releasing the Sinistea inside.
"What Pokemon is it?" asked Persephone.
"It's called a Sinistea." said Lola as she hands Bertrand a sheet of paper that had Sinistea's information on it.
"This says this Pokemon was made when the soul of someone who died alone possessed some leftover tea." said Bertrand with what could be interest in his voice.
"Boris like Sinistea." said Boris; Lola slowly walks back before turning around and running.
At another hallway in school, Lisa was looking around until she saw Chandler, Trent, and Richie hanging around, talking.
"Excuse me, gentlemen, and I use that term loosely." said Lisa, getting the boys' attention.
"What do you want, Loud?" asked Chandler. Lisa holds out three pokeballs.
"My brother has sent you the three Cyclizars you asked for." said Lisa.
"About time." said Trent before he, Chandler, and Richie each grab a pokeball.
"How do you work these?" asked Richie, examining the pokeball.
"Push the button to enlarge it, then toss it." replied Lisa. The boys do so, releasing the Cyclizars.
"All right!" said Chandler as he and his friends look at their new Cyclizars.
"Wow, more Pokemon!" said a student who was nearby.
"I wish I had one!" said another student.
"They're jealous." said Chandler with a smug look on his face; Lisa then walks away.
Back in Paldea, at the Paldea International Airport; Lincoln's group was waiting for Ronnie Anne's flight to arrive.
"Attention, the flight from Royal Woods is now arriving." a voice on the airport's PA system says.
"That's her flight." said Clyde. They all wait for ten minutes until passengers started exiting the plane; soon, they see Ronnie Anne and wave to her, getting her attention.
"Hey, everybody!" Ronnie Anne says before running over to the group and wraps her arms around Lincoln, making Nemona and Iono glare at her.
"Hi, Ronnie Anne." said Lincoln. After a minute, the purple hoodie-wearing girl lets go of the white-haired Loud.
"I really missed you." said Ronnie Anne, making Lincoln's sisters giggle.
"Ready to go to Naranja Academy?" asked Lincoln.
"You bet!" said Ronnie Anne with excitement.
"As much as I want to stay with you, cutie; I just got word that I have gym challengers waiting for me." said Iono.
"Okay, I guess you do have your responsibilities as a gym leader." said Lincoln. Iono smiles before she wraps her arms around Lincoln's neck and kisses him on the lips, making Lincoln's sisters squeal with delight, and Nemona and Ronnie Anne glare at the livestreamer.
"That's to last you until we meet again, cutie." Iono says after, reluctantly, letting Lincoln go. Iono then starts heading towards Levincia, leaving the group to themselves.
"Oh, and I brought my Hawlucha with me." said Ronnie Anne as she points at the pokeball on her waist.
"And you'll have more Pokemon before you know it." said Lincoln.
The group exits the airport and start heading through East Province Area Two. Ronnie Anne looked around with awe at all the Pokemon in the area.
"This is so cool!" said Ronnie Anne. The group soon sees a Cyclizar running around nearby.
"There's a Cyclizar." said Lincoln.
"I can use one of those if I'm gonna be travelling an entire region." said Ronnie Anne.
"And since Cyclizars are part normal type, fighting types like Hawlucha would have an advantage." said Lincoln. He reaches into his backpack, pulls out five pokeballs, and hands them to Ronnie Anne.
"Thanks, Lincoln." said Ronnie Anne.
"If you want to have a better chance at catching it, then you'll have to wear it out by having Hawlucha battle it." said Lincoln.
"Got it." said Ronnie Anne as she takes her Hawlucha's pokeball off her waist and tosses it, releasing him, getting the Cyclizar's attention.
"Get it, Ronnie Anne!" said Lynn. The Cyclizar charges at Hawlucha with fast speed and slams into him.
"Hawlucha, use Hone Claws!" said Ronnie Anne. Her Hawlucha's talons glowed red, and he becomes covered in a red aura, increasing his attack power and accuracy; the Cyclizar reacts by swinging its tail at Hawlucha. "Hawlucha, use Detect!" Hawlucha's eyes glint before he ducks under the Cyclizar's tail. "Now use Wing Attack!" Her Hawlucha strikes the Cyclizar with one of his wings, dealing damage; the Cyclizar reacts by spinning in a circle towards Hawlucha and striking him. "Hawlucha, use Aerial Ace!" Her Hawlucha flies up into the air and comes back down while white streaks surrond him before he slams into the Cyclizar, knocking it to the ground.
"I think it's weak enough, Ronnie Anne!" said Lincoln.
"Gotcha." said Ronnie Anne as she takes one of the empty pokeballs Lincoln gave her and tosses it at the Cyclizar, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles once before clicking.
"You did it, Ronnie Anne!" said Lana. As Ronnie Anne picks up her newly captured Pokemon's pokeball, Lincoln looks up its information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says your Cyclizar's a girl, she knows Tackle, Growl, Rapid Spin, Taunt, Breaking Swipe, and Quick Attack; she has the Shed Skin ability which could cure her of any status condition she's afflicted with." said Lincoln.
"Status condition?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Good thing you're going to be attending Naranja Academy." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, I guess I have a lot to learn." said Ronnie Anne. Lincoln pulls a Super Potion out of his backpack and hands it to Ronnie Anne.
"Use that to heal up your Cyclizar." said Lincoln.
"Thanks, Linc." said Ronnie Anne before she lets her Cyclizar out of her pokeball; she then sprays her Pokemon to heal her wounds.
"Let's get going." said Lincoln as he and everyone else let out their Ride Pokemon; they all climb onto them, with Ronnie Anne glaring at Nemona who was riding with Lincoln while her arms were wrapped around him.
Everyone soon starts riding across the landscape while Ronnie Anne looks around at all the sights, including all the sculptures and things in Artazon.
"This place is amazing." said Ronnie Anne as she looks at one of the Surrendering Sunflora sculptures.
"Hey, it's Lincoln and Clyde!" a voice shouts out from nearby, making everyone in the group look to see a bunch of kids and teenagers running over to them.
"We saw your battle with that Titan Pokemon thing." said a boy.
"It's so cool that you're all doing that to get those Herba Mystica things for Arven's Mabosstiff." said a teenage girl.
"Wow; Lincoln and Clyde are really popular." said Ronnie Anne with astonishment in her voice.
"They've done a lot of exciting stuff here." said Lynn.
"And you will also, Ronnie Anne." said Lucy.
"Hey, Lincoln; if things don't work out between you and Iono, then maybe you and I can go out on a date." said a redhead girl as she winks at the white-haired Loud, making him blush, and Nemona and Ronnie Anne glare at her.
"Maybe you and I can go out on a date ourselves, Clyde." a blonde-haired girl says, making Clyde blush, and Penny glare while wrapping her arms around Clyde's chest.
After all the commotion was done, the group leaves Artazon.
The group then continues on through until they reach South Province Area Three; as they ride along, Ronnie Anne spots a light blue, quadrupedal, lion cub-like Pokemon with yellow star-shaped markings in its ears, black lower body, a yellow line around each of his front ankles, and a four-pointed star at the end of its tail.
"Hey, what's that Pokemon?" asked Ronnie Anne, making everyone stop their Ride Pokemon; Leni takes out her pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Shinx, the Flash Pokemon. The extension and contraction of its muscles generates electricity. It glows when in trouble." said Leni's Rotom Phone.
"I want to catch this one." said Ronnie Anne.
"Okay, but use Cyclizar; Hawlucha's part flying which puts him at a disadvantage against Shinx." said Lincoln. Ronnie Anne nods before jumping off Cyclizar.
"Ready, Cyclizar?" asked Ronnie Anne. Cyclizar nods in response and faces Shinx; the Shinx sees Cyclizar and goes into a battle stance. "Okay, Cyclizar, use Quick Attack!" Cyclizar charges at Shinx and rams it, knocking it back; Shinx becomes surrounded by sparks.
"What's it doing?" asked Lana.
"I think it used Charge." said Lynn Jr.
"What does that do?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"It not only strengthens the special defense of the Pokemon that used the move, but makes the next electric type move it uses even stronger; my Voltorb has that move." replied Lynn Jr.
"Cyclizar, use Breaking Swipe!" said Ronnie Anne. Cyclizar charges at Shink while her tail glowed purple and hits Shinx with it, dealing damage. Shinx releases a burst of electricity from its body, and it hits Cyclizar, but it barely did any damage; Cyclizar begins to twitch.
"Cyclizar's paralyzed." said Arven. Suddenly, a layer of Cyclizar's skin peeled off it. "Good thing Cyclizar has the Shed Skin ability."
"Yeah; now Cyclizar's not paralyzed anymore." said Leni.
"Cyclizar, Tackle!" said Ronnie Anne. Cyclizar charges at Shinx and rams it, knocking it to the ground.
"Catch it!" said Lincoln. Ronnie Anne nods before taking an empty pokeball from her backpack and throws it at Shinx, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggled until it clicked.
"Woot woot; Shinx is mine." said Ronnie Anne. As she picks up Shinx's pokeball, Lincoln looks up its information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says your Shinx is a boy, he knows Tackle, Leer, Thunder Shock, Charge, and Bite; he has the Rivalry ability which increases his power when he battles Pokemon that are the same gender as he is but decreases it when he's battling Pokemon that are the opposite gender." said Lincoln.
"So, if he's battling a boy Pokemon, his attacks get stronger, but when he's battling a girl Pokemon, his attacks get weaker?" asked Ronnie Anne; Lincoln nods in response.
"That explains why Shinx's Thunder Shock didn't do much to your Cyclizar; she was female and Shinx was male." said Penny.
"Also, because dragon types are resistant to electric attacks." said Clyde.
Ronnie Anne puts Shinx's pokeball away before she climbs onto her Cyclizar and the group continued riding. Moments later, they arrived at Mesagoza.
"Welcome to Mesagoza, Ronnie Anne." said Lincoln.
"Whoa." Ronnie Anne said in awe as she looked at the city. "This place looks just as amazing as it did when you gave that tour."
Moments later, the group reached the top of the stairs leading to Naranja Academy.
"Now I see why this is called the worse staircase in Paldea." said Ronnie Anne, panting.
"I can take it." said Lynn Jr.
"I think I can too, thanks to all that exercise Ms. Dendra had me and Clyde do." said Lincoln. The group then leads Ronnie Anne into Naranja Academy; moments later, they were in Director Clavell's office.
"Let me welcome you to Naranja Academy, Ronnie Anne." said Director Clavell.
"Thank you, sir." said Ronnie Anne. Director Clavell reaches into a drawer and pulls out three pokeballs; he tosses them, releasing a Sprigatito, a Fuecoco, and a Quaxly.
"You may pick one of these Pokemon to have, Ronnie Anne." said Director Clavell. Ronnie Anne looks at each of the Pokemon until her eyes stopped at Fuecoco.
"I'll take that one." said Ronnie Anne, pointing at Fuecoco. It smiles in response before walking to Ronnie Anne.
"Very well." replied Director Clavell. He returns Sprigatito and Quaxly to their pokeballs, and gives Ronnie Anne Fuecoco's pokeball; he also gives Ronnie Anne a purple Rotom Phone and a keycard to her dorm room. Leni takes out her Rotom Phone and points it at Fuecoco.
"Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokemon. It lies on warm rocks and uses the heat absorbed by its square-shaped scales to create fire energy." said Leni's Rotom Phone.
"This says your Fuecoco's a boy, he knows Tackle, Leer, and Ember; he has the Blaze ability which makes his fire attacks stronger when he's tired." said Leni.
"This is all so cool!" said Ronnie Anne.
"By the way, Ronnie Anne; do you have American currency with you?" asked Director Clavell.
"Yeah." replied Ronnie Anne, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a one-hundred-dollar bill. "Lincoln told me I can get this exchanged for a lot of pokedollars."
"I will have that taken care of you." said Director Clavell.
"Thank you, sir." said Ronnie Anne, giving Director Clavell the money. She and the rest of the group leave the office.
Moments later, they were in Ronnie Anne's dorm room, which was in the same hall as the Louds' and Clyde's, where she was now in one of her academy uniforms.
"What do you think of your room, Ronnie Anne?" asked Lincoln.
"It's so awesome." said Ronnie Anne. "And I love having my own bathroom."
"We all do." Lucy says from behind Ronnie Anne, startling her.
"So, what now, Lincoln?" asked Lana.
"Well, let's wait until Ronnie Anne knows a lot more about Pokemon; after that, I want to challenge the next gym." said Lincoln.
"Good." said Nemona.
Ronnie Anne has arrived at Paldea and has already have new Pokemon. What else awaits her and her friends as their Paldea adventure continues?
Back at Royal Woods, Trent and Richie were riding their Cyclizars across Tall Timbers Park, cheering; Chandler was riding on his also, but it was barely going a mile per hour, and he was crying.
"I'm scared, I'm scared, it's going too fast." sobbed Chandler, making his Cyclizar sweatdrop.
