I'm sorry I haven't updated in quite a while, I've just been really busy with a lot of things going on. I'm also going to physical therapy for my lower back pain.

Brotherly Love

Back at home, Sam called The Frog Brothers, thanks to the phone number on the comic they gave him, and told them about what was happening to Michael. Nanook was right next to Sam on his bed and Gracie was just curled up asleep on Sam's bed behind him.

"You did the right thing by calling us," Edgar told him over the phone, "Does your brother sleep a lot?"

"Yeah all day," Sam answered.

"Does the sunlight freak him out?" Alan asks him.

"He wears sunglasses in the house," Sam replies.

"Bad breath? Long fingernails?" Edgar questions.

"Yes, his fingernails are a bit longer," Sam admits, "He always had bad breath though."

The Frog Brothers nodded to each other in confirmation. "He's a vampire alright," Alan confirms, and then asks, "Is your sister with you?"

"No, she told me she's staying with a friend tonight," Sam replies.

"Alright, here's what you do. Get yourself a good sharp steak and drive it through his heart," Edgar tells him.

"I can't do that he's my brother," Sam protests

"Okay. We'll come over and do it for you," Alan offers.

"No!" Sam protests.

"You better get a good garlic T-shirt, buddy because otherwise it's your funeral," Edgar said and then they hang up.

When the four vampires, Star, Laddie and Stacy all got back to the cave the first thing David did was grab the fancy jewel bottle that had the red liquid that Stacy drank last night. He then poured some of it into a red sippy cup making Stacy wonder what he was going to do. When David was handing it to Stacy, she realized the intention.

"No way," Stacy said shaking her head, "That stuff tasted disgusting the first time I drank it and I'm not drinking it out of a baby cup."

David chuckles, "Don't worry I think you'll find this tastier, and it's not a baby cup, it's a sippy cup."

"Same thing!" Stacy snapped, "Why can't I drink from a regular cup like last time?"

"Because last time you were messy and spilled a lot of it on your clothes," David reminds her with a tap on her nose, "And we don't want another accident."

Stacy blushes ten shades of red at what David, "SHUT UP THAT WAS ONLY ONE TIME!"

"Don't yell Stacy! Now are you going to drink it yourself, or am I going to have to do it myself?" David threatens.

Stacy backed away scared and tried to run but she ended up running into Paul when she looks up at him she hugs his waist. Paul picks her up in his arms and says to David, "I think I'll take it from here."

David frowns, but lets him, knowing Paul will have better luck.

"Baby girl you've got to drink," Paul told her in an intimate and gentle tone.

"Why?" Stacy asks.

"Because it will help you calm down after what happened at the boardwalk," Paul replies, "And we don't want something like that to happen again."

"But why can't I drink from a regular cup?" Stacy asks.

She heard David muttering something, but she didn't know what it was.

"Honey, David already told you why," Paul reminds her, "And he's right, we don't want any more spills on your clothes. Baby, having to drink from a sippy cup is nothing to be ashamed of. There are even grown-ups who do use sippy cups sometimes."

Stacy cocks her head, "Really?"

Paul smiles softly at her, "Mm-hmm. And it's only because we don't want you to make a mess on your clothes again."

Stacy hesitates for a few moments, but then sighs, "Okay. I'll take it."

"That's my girl," Paul says with a smile.

David then hands Paul the sippy cup and he gives it to Stacy. She slowly took a sip of the red drink and realized it was tastier than last time. Stacy then slowly gulped the rest of the drink down. Then Stacy's head fell back against Paul's chest as she was feeling sleepy. She slowly felt her eyes close and had fallen asleep.

Paul smiled fondly at the little girl in his arms and ran a hand through her hair. "Nighty Night, Stacy." He then took her to her bed and tucked her in.

Back at home, Michael was trying to get some sleep, but when he woke up, Michael realized he was on the ceiling. He wasn't sure how or why he got up there. Michael soon saw he was flying out the window. He tried grabbing and holding onto something, but it was useless.

In his room Sam could hear the noises. Sam then heard the phone ring and picked it up immediately.

"Hello?" Sam answered.

It was Lucy. "Sam, is everything alright?" asked their mother.

"Mom, I think we have to have a real long talk about something," Sam told her.

During the conversation, Michael was yelling and losing his grip every time he tried holding onto something as he was flying in the air. "Help!" Michael cried out. The noise he was making was heard by Lucy on the phone.

"What's going on there?" Lucy asked concerned.

"Mom," Sam says.

"Sam, I'm staring to get worried," Lucy replies as she kept hearing the noises on the phone, "What are you doing? What's that noise? That's not Michael, is it? Is that Michael breathing that?"

"Now we should stay calm," Sam replies.

"Calm? Calm about what?" Lucy asked with a mix of confusion and worry.

"Nothing, nothing," Sam replies.

But Lucy didn't believe what he said and asked, "Who's making that noise?"

"Mom I can't talk about it on the phone it's about Michael," Sam tries explaining.

"Don't listen to him Mom, he doesn't know what he's saying. Sam doesn't know what he's saying," Michael states from outside of Sam's window.

When Sam saw Michael was at his window and flying through the air, he screamed. "Ahhh!"

"Shut up Sam," Michael told him.

But Sam didn't listen. "Mom, Help! He's coming to get me!" Nanook barked at Michael and Gracie hissed loudly at Michael.

"Oh, my God!" Lucy cried out with alarm.

"He'll kill me!" Sam cried out.

"Honey, I'm coming!" Lucy said frantically, and then said frantically to the man in front of her, "Tell him I'm coming." She tossed him the back and then was running out of the restaurant, leaving Max waiting for her at their table and wondering where she was. Lucy ran as fast as she could to her car and started driving frantically back to their house.

Meanwhile Michael was still outside flying, calling for Sam to let him in and knocking on Sam's window.

"Open up!" Michael cried out to Sam.

"Stay back, stay back," Sam told him, making a cross with his fingers.

"Sammy, help me. Open up," Michael pleads, still banging on the window. "Help me. Sammy, open the window."

"Never! I knew it!" Sam cried out.

"I am not!" Michael denies.

"So what are you, the flying nun?!" Sam demands.

"I'm your brother, Sammy, help me!" Michael pleads again. "Sammy open up!"

Sam then slowly and cautiously walked to the window and looked at his brother in the eyes.

"Please, please," Michael begged.

After seeing the look on his brother's face, Sam then reluctantly open the window to let his brother inside. He helps Michael inside his room.

"Thanks," Michael tells him. The two brothers then sat on the floor. We gotta stick together, Sam. We gotta stick together bro," Michael said.

"What about Mom?" Sam asked.

"Just don't… don't tell her anything," Michael answered.

"I don't know Mike, it's not like getting a D in school or something. You know?" Sam said, "And what about Stacy? Even if we are able to keep this from Mom, how are we going to keep this from her?" As far as they were concern Stacy was sleeping over at a new friend's house, and not with the four vampires who did this to Michael in the first place.

But before Michael could respond the two boys heard the sound of their mom's car.

Michael made his brother look at him then just told Sam, "We're going to work this out. I'm going to work this out. Trust me, okay Sam?"

"Sam!" The boys heard their mother calling from outside.

"Okay," Sam replied.

"Sam! Sam!" Lucy calls out as she was running inside the house and was coming in.

Sorry I had to stop there. It's just it's been about a year and I'm just trying to get back to this story. But I will try my best to keep uploading.
