Vampires
The boys and Michael arrived at a tree nearby a group of young people, Surf Nazis, were dancing around a bonfire. They all stopped their motorcycles and walked up to the tree. They climbed the tree and looked at the people unaware that something was about to happen and their lives were about to end. They all started to laugh and chuckle.
This was truly confusing for Michael who didn't understand what was going on. Michael still hadn't climbed the tree. He was looking up at them when David looked down at him.
"Michael over here. Come on Michael," David said. "You don't wanna miss this." David chuckles.
Michael got off his bike and walked over to the tree and climbed it.
"Initiations over Michael. Time to join the club," David said.
David's face came out of the shadows completely transformed and his eyes were now red and yellow. Michael was freaking out, he was so scared that he didn't know if this was real or a very realistic nightmare. Dwayne chuckled evilly at Michael.
Michael looked down and saw Marko.
"Hi Michael," Marko said.
Michael kept freaking out and it didn't help that Paul was completely scary.
David, Dwayne, Paul and Marko all chuckled, giggled and laughed before flying off into the air. Michael was absolutely terrified with the sight that unfolded in front of him. He saw them kill all those people. He saw them tear them all apart and drink their blood.
"Michael."
He saw all the young people try and run for their lives. But they were no match for the unholy creatures. The sight made Michael sick to his stomach.
Michael saw the boys all cheering and jumping before tossing the dead bodies in the fire. Michael didn't know what to do. Michael was screaming before he fell out of the tree. He fell down the sandy hill before he stopped with a grunt of pain. He looked up and saw David, Dwayne, Paul and Marko walking up the hill. They all stopped and looked at him. David wiped his face before looking at Michael.
"So now you know what we are and now you know what you are," David told him, "You'll never grow old Michael and you'll never die. But you must feed."
They all chuckled and laughed.
Back at the Emerson house Stacy fell asleep playing with Tod and her other toys as she was waiting for Paul, but then she woke up to the sound of the wind picking up and then saw Paul standing by her window.
"Paul," Stacy smiled and she got out of bed to hug him.
"Hey baby girl," Paul said fondly, "Miss me?"
"Yes," Stacy said, "I did."
When Gracie saw Paul she started hissing and swiping her paw.
"Gracie, no bad kitty," Stacy scolds.
"It's okay," Paul reassures her, "She's just being protective."
"For a while I was worried you've forgotten about seeing me," Stacy confesses
Paul ruffles her hair and chuckles, "Oh honey I could never forget about you."
She was about to say something else, but she and Paul heard Sam coming from his room.
"She's one of them!" Sam exclaims.
Sam ran to his bed and covered himself with his bed sheets.
"And don't tell me that it doesn't make her a bad person Mike," Sam states.
Michael glared at Star. He was feeling so betrayed. "You know where David took me tonight don't you Star?"
"Who's David?" Sam asks still hiding under the covers.
Star began to walk closer to Micheal.
"Yes, it's my fault. If you hadn't met me, if I hadn't liked you. I tried to warn you," Star said.
"It was that night in the cave wasn't it? It wasn't wine that they gave me to drink it was blood. It was David's blood," Michael states.
"You drank someone's blood. Are you crazy?!" Sam exclaims.
"I'm just like David now Star," Michael said.
"No you're not," Star insists, "You're like Laddie, your sister and me. We're not one of them-"
"What do you mean like my sister?" Michael asked.
Star was silent for a couple moments before saying, "After what happened with you David and the other boys they found Stacy getting jumped. They saved her and brought her back to the cave and David had her drink the blood too."
"You mean Stacy has been with David and the other boys this whole time?" Michael asked her voice filled with guilt.
"Yes and she also bonded with Paul," Star adds.
Michael slammed his fist against the wall. What happened to his sister was his fault. He was such a bad brother.
"You let vampires near our sister?! You are crazy!" Sam shouts.
"But it's okay, because we're not one of them-" Star says, but Sam interrupts.
"Until you make your first kill," Sam cried out as he whimpered under his bed sheets.
Michael glared at Star. "Why didn't you kill me last night?" Michael asks.
"You were supposed to be my first. It's what David wanted," Star states. Star looked at Micheal with a genuine expression on her face. "But I couldn't Michael."
Michael walked closer to her.
"Why? Because you care so much about me?" Michael asked his voice laced with sarcasm.
"Yes I do," Star confesses.
Star placed her hand on his face. Michael took it off.
"What are you doing here? What do you want from me?" Michael asked.
"I wanted to tell you that it's not too late for you. But for me it gets harder and harder to resist. I'm weak," Star says tearfully.
Michael grabbed Star and forced her to look at him. He got close to her face.
"Why did you come here tonight Star?" Michael demanded.
Star had tears falling down her face. "I was hoping you would help Laddie and me," Star answered.
Michael chuckled harshly and threw Star away from him. When he turned around he was shocked that she was gone. He went to the window and started to shout.
"STAR!" Michael called out.
"Don't kill anybody until we get back to you," Sam calls out.
Sam leaped across his bed to his phone. He then began to dial a phone number.
"What are you doing?" Michael asked.
"I got connections," Sam states.
In the hallway, Paul and Stacy heard everything. Paul frowned deeply, "That little..."
"Paul is it true?" Stacy asked innocently, "Are you vampires?"
"Let's go back to your room so your brothers don't hear us," Paul tells her.
When they were back in Stacy's room Paul made her sit on her bed while he knelt down and cupped her face in her hands.
"Yes, it's true me and my brothers are vampires," Paul confesses, "But we didn't want you to find out like this."
"Why?" Stacy asked.
"It's difficult for me to explain it to you," Paul said, "But please know that me and my brothers would never do anything to hurt you Stacy. Never."
Stacy nods, "I believe you."
Paul smiles, "Thank you."
Paul was then silent for a while as if he was thinking to himself.
"What is it Paul?" Stacy asked.
"Stacy grab Tod," Paul told her, "We're going back to the cave."
"Okay. Do I need to change clothes?" Stacy asks looking at her long light blue nightgown.
"No, your pajamas are fine," Paul assures her.
"But what about Gracie?" Stacy asks looking at her cat.
Paul hesitates he doesn't want her cat to try scratching him, but he knows that Stacy would like to bring her cat along.
"Can you hold her still?" Paul asks.
Stacy nods, "She is more calm and relaxed when I'm holding her."
"Okay, good. Then we'll take Gracie too," Paul said.
"Thank you," Stacy said.
Stacy put Tod under her arm and scooped up Gracie in her arms. Paul then picked her up bridle style.
"Whoa!" Stacy exclaims.
"Do you trust me?" Paul asks.
Stacy nods, "Of course."
"Okay," Paul said then they leapt out of Stacy's window and they started flying.
At first Stacy was feeling nervous and anxious, but after several moments she calmed down and was smiling.
"See baby girl it's not so bad," Paul says with a smile.
