Welcome back to The Injustice Wars. Last time, Blaze woke up to a note from Dick Grayson, the complete list of things she'll need to restore Dragnarok from Darkblood. Problem is, once she actually reads the list, she doesn't recognize a damn thing on the list. But, at that point, the sun had risen and she decided to tackle the issue after getting some breakfast. Today, we start looking at that list. So, what are half of these items? Read on to discover...

(Our scene begins at the conference table in Legion HQ where, Blaze has gathered some of the most trusted allies she has between the Legion, the Insurgency, and the Republic. Present for certain are Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Batman, and Belial Aether.)

Green Lantern: Any particular reason for such an early gathering?

Blaze: Well, let's just say we had a visitor last night. Dick Grayson stopped by and provided me with what is arguably the most important list I've ever read.

Hawkgirl: That being?

Blaze: The list of items needed to restore Dragnarok.

Harley Quinn: Wait, that's possible?

Blaze: According to Dick Grayson, it is. And I for one am willing to take him at his word.

Batman: You can make that two of us.

Supergirl: Well, that's good to know, but it doesn't explain why we're here?

Blaze: After reading the list, I have absolutely no idea what most of these items are. And since the Regime, Society, and Empire seem pretty quiet right now, I figured we might have some time to go over the list and try to figure some of them out.

Flash: I don't see why we couldn't.

Belial Aether: Alright then, let's hear what we need to find.

Belial: We apparently need The Forbearance of a Dead Man, That Which Seals the Old Ones, The Bane of Magic Made Into Might, The Living Lightning, The Remains of Fate, Unfiltered Will, The Blood of Olympus, Eternal Motion, The Symbol of Hope, Laughter of Redemption, the Sphere of Vengeance And The Night, and The Green Magic of the Underworld Guide. Once we have those, I add "That Which Was Always There", and things should work out.

Batman: Those of us who were in Nanda Parbat worked one of them out already. The Living Lightning has to be the magic that gives Black Adam his powers.

Green Lantern: So that's one blocked behind the Regime.

Supergirl: I'd argue there's two. The Blood of Olympus has to connect to Diana in some way.

Blaze: Won't need an excuse for me to cut into that witch again.

Batman: I'd thought about the item "The Remains of Fate" overnight. It must connect to Doctor Fate in some way.

Belial Aether: I was thinking the exact same thing!

Blaze: Now the Empire's got one of them too. What's next?

Hawkgirl: You might want to make that two. This second one, "That Which Seals the Old Ones." I think I know what it is.

Belial Aether: Well don't be shy, Shayera, what's your theory?

Hawkgirl: It's Aquaman's Trident.

Blaze: Great.

Supergirl: What makes you so sure?

Hawkgirl: In ancient times, Thanagar worshipped on the Old Ones, a being called Ixthultu. I later learned when Ixthultu tried to conquer Earth, the sorcerer-king of Atlantis crafted the trident handed down through Atlantis' rulers ever since to seal them away, at the cost of sinking Atlantis.

Green Lantern: So they've got two as well.

Hawkgirl: I've got a positive too, though. We've already got one of these items. (Pulls out her mace and places it on the table) This thing is solid Nth Metal, wreaks havoc on magic users even at Fate's caliber. If this isn't "The Bane of Magic Made Might", then I don't know what is.

Flash: Thinking about it, we may have more than one. "Endless Motion" sounds exactly like how I would've described the Speed Force when I started out. I'd bet money that that's what it means.

Green Lantern: You know, thinking about it, "Unfiltered Will" could mean the Green Light of Willpower. (Holds up the hand with his Green Lantern Ring on it) I'll bet a Green Lantern Ring will cover that requirement.

Belial Aether: Sounds like we've got at least three then.

Blaze: Not a bad way to start, we may have six of them. But there's more, Dick gave me a way to tell if we're right. I'll see a white mist around the correct items. And right now, I'm definitely seeing one around Shayera's mace and Hal's ring. (Looks over to Flash) And you're coated in the stuff, Barry. Sounds like your guess at The Speed Force is right too.

Supergirl: We're batting three for three then! Not bad for just starting on it.

Blaze: If our guesses at the other four we've identified are right, we've got seven identified. Now to figure out the rest.

Belial Aether: I'll be honest, I'm stumped.

Supergirl: Me too.

Batman: As much as I hate to admit it, so am I.

Blaze: Well, having three of them figured out for sure is a good start. Let's have the eight of us take the day to think about it. Maybe we'll figure something out after getting to work.

(The table seems to agree and as the eight disband for now, our scene ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to end for today. So we've got seven of the items likely figures out, at least three or four for certain. Maybe taking a little bit of time to get some work done will make the answers pop into their heads. Who knows? If a scientist can get a world changing idea in the shower, no doubt this bunch of superheroes can think of something over tracking three villainous factions. So, what awaits now that the hunt for the twelve items is on? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
