Fighting Maleficent
The Horned King's words shocked and surprised the whole room. They all thought he was nothing but a dark, heartless, demonic villain and hearing him speaking in genuine love for his daughter wasn't something they ever expected. King Taran, Queen Eilonwy and Talia were especially confounded.
The Horned King then his attention back to Maleficent and spoke, "I told you and the other three fools that if you kept treating your children the way you were, then they would sooner or later realize that they owed you nothing, but you didn't listen. Perhaps if you treated your daughter differently your plans would've succeeded."
Maleficent rolled her eyes and said, "It's not over yet and I'm not going to change my plans either."
"Well then," Fairy Godmother started waving the wand. "Bibbidi Bobbidi..."
"Boo!" Maleficent mocked as her scepter glowed and almost everyone in the room froze except Maleficent, The Horned King, Hava, Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos. "Psyche," Maleficent laughed and snorted. "Ooh. Ooh, in another time, in another time," Maleficent said removing Adam's glasses and putting one of the ends near her mouth, she then sung softly, "Evil like me, don't you wanna be mean..." Maleficent then took the wand from Fairy Godmother and said using the want to poke Fairy Godmother's nose, "Oh. Oh, no. Someone needs to pluck their nose hairs."
Maleficent then turned to face the others, "Where shall we begin? Oh, I know. Why don't we start by getting rid of this?" She pointed the wand at Mal making Ben's ring fly off her finger and around the wand. "PERFECT FIT!" Maleficent cried looking at her sad daughter, "Oh, excuse me, pardon me, excuse me. The horns, the horns." She then went over to Ben and slapped his face a couple times and messed with his crown. "Falling in love is weak and ridiculous," Maleficent said looking at her daughter, "It's not what you want."
"You don't know what I want." Mal said lightly crying. "Mom have you ever asked me what I want? I'm not you."
"Well obviously, I've spent years and years and years, and years of practice being evil. You'll get there," said Maleficent.
"Just how old is she?" Hava asked her father in a whisper.
"No, I will not," Mal states "And I really wish you haven't gotten there yourself. Love is not weak or ridiculous, it's actually really amazing."
"I know one thing young lady, you have no room for love in your life!" Maleficent shouted at her daughter.
"Like you know anything about love," Hava mutters.
Mal's teary eyes started to dry as she reached out with her hand. "AND NOW I COMMAND WAND TO MY HAND!" Mal cried out. To her surprise the wand actually came to her. "Ha! It worked!" Mal cheered.
"I hardly think so. Frankly this is tedious and very immature. GIVE ME THE WAND! GIVE ME THE WAND!" Maleficent demanded.
"Hold on Mal." Carlos stood next to Mal and said softly. "Maybe good is more powerful than evil."
"Oh please, you're killing me." Maleficent laughed, "Arf." Attempting to scare him, but instead it made Dude jump on Maleficent and start licking her. "Oh breath, breath, breath," She said disgusted. "Get off me."
"I'm surprised she didn't kill him," Hava said to herself.
Jay jumped forward and tried to get the scepter away from Maleficent, but she just grinned and felt his arms. "Gaston should be jealous," she said. With that she threw Jay to the floor and let out a cackle.
Hava responds by summoning several shadows to attack Maleficent and wrestle her for her scepter. It was working for a little while, but then Maleficent got the upper hand.
"Darn it! I need more practice," Hava said.
"ENOUGH! You all will regret this!" Maleficent screamed outraged as green smoke surrounded her. In that moment her dragon form appear and began breathing fire much to the horror of the five teens.
"Oh Hades!" Hava mutters before running with her friends.
"Hava fly!" Horned King shouted to her
"What?!" Hava said confused unsure if she heard her father correct.
"Remember you're not just half demon, you're also a demigod!" Horned King reminds her, "All demigods have inherited skills from their godly parents."
"But I've never flown before," Hava said.
"Try! Try thinking about it!" Horned King yelled with urgency in his voice.
Hava then began thinking of her having wings and flying. A few moments later Hava sprouted big dark wings.
"Whoa," Hava gasps.
"That's my daughter," Horned King said proudly.
Hava saw Maleficent go after Jay. She then flew over and grabbed Jay by the arms picking him up.
"Hava?" Jay asks, "How did you get wings?"
"I guess my mom also had them," Hava answered flying to avoid Maleficent, "I didn't even know I had them."
Maleficent was flying after them breathing fire at them and had her mouth opened wide. A hose then appeared and sprayed a waterfall at Maleficent's face making her fall. When Maleficent got back up and was flying again she looked to see The Horned King looking enraged.
"Not my daughter!" Horned King yelled.
When Jay and Hava flew to their friends Hava gently put Jay down as Evie ran over and cried out, "Magic mirror shine a bright light."
A bright white beam shot out from the tiny mirror, blinding Maleficent and knocking her to the ground. Maleficent roared as she fell to the floor.
"Behind me E, H," Mal said moving Evie and Hava behind her as she stood in front of her friends facing her mother. "LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!" Mal shouted looking her mom in the eyes. "This is between you and me mother." Maleficent locked eyes with her daughter. Mal then started chanting, "The strength of evil is good as none when stands before five hearts as one." As she kept chanting her eyes glowed having another stare off with her mother.
The Horned King was watching and it looked like Mal was struggling. He then went over to his daughter and her friends and grabbed Hava's hand firmly. The Horned King still didn't find himself good as he still despised Taran, or as he called him, Pig Boy, and his pitiful band of friends, but Hava's safety came first and he wasn't going to give Maleficent the chance to harm her.
Maleficent let out a roar disappearing in a cloud of smoke before she shrunk to the size of a lizard. Fairy Godmother was then unfrozen as Hava, The Horned King, Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos ran up to Maleficent who was now a dark purple lizard.
"What just happened?" Carlos asked.
"I have no idea," Mal answered.
"Did you do that?" Evie and Hava asked Mal.
"I don't know," Mal replies.
Fairy Godmother ran up to them. "No, no, no, no your mother did, she shank down to the size of love in her heart. That's why it's so itty-bitty.''
"Is she gonna be like that forever?" Mal asked.
"Well, forever is a long time," Fairy Godmother said, "You learned to love, so can she."
The Horned King chuckled in amusement at Maleficent's new form.
After Hava was able to make her wings disappear she spoke to her friends and Fairy Godmother, but especially to her friends. "I'm sorry I did what I did," Hava apologized, "It's just I knew I couldn't really be happy here without my father. I was worried that even with Ben as the new king nobody would approve of my father being freed and that no one would listen that my father changed. Are we still friends?"
"If we didn't forgive every friend who took something magical to free their demon father we wouldn't have any friends," Mal replies.
"We understand why you did it," Evie said gently. Then Hava's four friends hugged her.
"While I don't condone your actions, no harm was done by them," Fairy Godmother said with a smile.
"So does this mean my father can stay with me in Auradon?" Hava asked. Horned King looked at Fairy Godmother as well.
"Well," Fairy Godmother began.
"Are you kidding me?!" Hava cried her eyes glowing, "After he just proved to everyone he's changed?"
"Sweetie calm down, you haven't even heard what I was going to say, dear," Fairy Godmother responds gently.
"Oh right. Fine," Hava said.
"There will be some discussions about it," Fairy Godmother states, "And we'll try to work something out."
Hava frowns deeply not liking the answer, but Horned King put a hand on her shoulder and spoke softly so only Hava heard, "It doesn't matter Hava. We won't be staying in Auradon anyway."
Hava gave a confused and troubled look at her father. What did he mean by that?
There wasn't much of The Horned King showing off his powers in The Black Cauldron. So I wanted to do a little more with it.
