CHAPTER 2
In the early morning hours, Ana got up and got dressed after a fast shower. She went outside hooking the chains up to the truck hitch and grabbed hold of the tree top trunks that snapped blocking the driveway. She started hauling one away at a time after driving spikes into the trees with a sledgehammer to clip the chains through. Christian woke up not knowing where he was at first, but still couldn't remember anything before the crash. He got up and put on his clothes that dried overnight. His arm was aching and his head hurt, so he took the Advil Ana had left with the glass of water on the bedside table. He heard her outside moving trees with a big truck.
When she finally came back into the cabin, she smiled seeing him dressed. Ana was dressed in a flannel shirt open with a tshirt on, blue jeans and rubber boots because of the muck from the rain. She tried to clean up and washed her hands and put on her tennis shoes. She handed him a briefcase and said, "I found this in your helicopter, maybe it could be useful. No phone though. Let me feed you breakfast before we go. I hope you like bacon, eggs and biscuits with coffee?"
Christian said chuckling, "Of course".
He smiled, sat down on one of three tree stools at the kitchen counter and watched her cook. They had eggs over medium, crispy thick bacon and biscuits. She even had orange juice and coffee. She stored the leftover biscuits and bacon. She gave Christian a refill on his coffee to take with them, they got in the truck after she turned everything off and locked up.
Ana said looking at him starting the truck up, "I will drive you to Tacoma and take you to St Joseph Hospital because they have an emergency room and it will be closer to Seattle. The ride is going to be bumpy until we get on the pavement."
When they got to county road 7 until it merged with the I-5 interstate. It was about 60 miles. Christian had found on his laptop a list of phone numbers and googled who he was.
Ana called on speaker phone the GEH Security Department and told them to contact his family and tell them he is in Tacoma at St Joseph Hospital ER with a broken forearm and head trauma. They said they would make the calls. They told him the media and television reports were out of control after his helicopter went down. Ana gave them her cell number because he lost his phone in the crash.
When they got to Tacoma, Ana parked the truck and went into the hospital with him. They sent her to the ER waiting room when they took Christian to the back. After a while, a group of well dressed people came in asking the nurses at the check in desk about Christian Grey's condition. They said he was being casted at the moment and examined. They said that he needed to be seen by a neurologist once he got home and to wait in the waiting room with the woman he came in the ER with, Anastasia Steele.
A man with a military haircut stood in the waiting room and asked out loud, "Anastasia Steele?" Ana raised her hand. He rudely shoves her a piece of paper and a pen. She looked puzzled at him and then started reading the page. It was a Nondisclosure form.
She looked up at the man narrowing her eyes and asked, "What's your name?"
He shifted from side to side stoically and said bluntly, "Taylor, Mam."
She asked perturbed, "Do you shove formal papers in someone's face as common practice and not have the common courtesy to introduce yourself first or ask politely can you please read and sign this?"
Ana stood up, shoved the paper and pen hard back at him into his chest. She turned, walked out of the hospital, went to her truck and drove sixty miles back home. Grace watched the whole thing wondering what just happened and why the girl got so angry. She saw Taylor put the pen and paper away in his pocket expressionlessly.
Grace walked up to him. She asked him, looking at him hard, "What did you do to her to cause that reaction?"
He said flatly, "I gave her a pen and an NDA."
Grace asked, getting miffed, "Then why did she shove it at you and walk out like that, Taylor?!"
Taylor said stoically, "Because I didn't ask her to sign it or introduce myself first." Grace nodded.
Grace said condescendingly, "Perhaps, you need to use a little courtesy and ask. You treated her like trash. I'd walk out on you too." Grace walked away going back to the nurses.
—--
When Christian walked out into the waiting room to see Ana and was bombarded by a bunch of people who he didn't recognize. He freaked out a bit and backed away from them. He demanded, "Where the hell is Anastasia?!"
His father, he didn't know, looked at him funny and asked, "Who's Anastasia, Christian?"
Christian said, getting very upset that Ana wasn't here, "My friend, the woman who saved my life by getting me out of my damaged helicopter safely! The woman who treated and splinted my wounds, took care of me, kept me safe, warm and fed me! The woman who removed several tree trunks from the road to her cabin this morning and drove over sixty miles to get me to help at this goddamn hospital! Where the fuck is Anastasia?!"
Grace said softly trying to calm him down, "I don't know where she went, Christian. There was a young woman that ran out angry after talking to Taylor."
Christian said angrily, "Who the hell is Taylor!"
A military crew cut man in an all black professional suit was standing there, "I am Taylor. I have worked for you for years as your Head of Security."
Christian asked angrily, flashing fire in his eyes, "What the hell did you do to make Anastasia leave without even saying goodbye to me?!"
Taylor said emotionlessly, "I gave her an NDA and a pen. She shoved them back at me and stormed out of here."
Christian said looking at the man, "No, I don't buy it. What aren't you telling me about it?!"
Taylor said flatly, "She was angry because I didn't introduce myself and just handed her the pen and paper. She said I should have asked her." Christian nodded.
Christian said looking Taylor in the eyes, "She is a Marine Raider's daughter and should be respected! She knows protocol and so do you from the military look you have. From now on, when talking to people, you will be more courteous, professional and respectful. She is the most incredible person ever! I wouldn't be alive if not for her! Now who the hell are the rest of you?!"
All their faces fell and Grace said, "I'm your mother and a doctor." She proceeded to introduce his father, sister and brother. They told him that he needed to get the report from the neurologist because of his memory loss at Grace Memorial Hospital in Seattle. Christian agreed but was very upset about Ana leaving him all alone with these people.
—--
Christian was brought to Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital and went through a battery of testing for two days. The doctors couldn't find anything wrong but brain swelling from whiplash and the exterior contusion on his forehead that must have been caused by the impact. The skull wasn't damaged from the impact but there was enough swelling in the area to warrant watching the site and keeping him under observation for a few days at the hospital.
—--
His mother made him stay with her in what they called his old room for a week so far. Nothing seemed familiar. It was a bit intimidating to not know who you are or anything.
One evening, his mother called him down to dinner. He went down the stairs and just followed the voices in the big house. There was that old woman who was acting clingy and kept touching him every time she came over the last week. He started moving around the room trying to avoid her all the time. His mother introduced him to her a day after he got here as his mother's best friend.
As the evening went on, Christian was cornered in the hallway coming from the bathroom by the woman. She said, trying to touch his crotch this time which made him jump, "It's such a shame you have no memories of you and me. You poor thing." She reached out to touch his chest and he flinched.
He backed away hitting a wall. This woman was starting to piss him off and get on his last nerve. He said angrily, "Please, leave me alone, lady. Back off. I'm warning you."
Elena said moving forward, simpering, "Oh Christian, if you only knew what we used to mean to each other. You and I were such good friends." She reached out again to touch him. Christian turned to get away and was in a small guest bedroom. Elena followed him in and closed the door, locking it. Christian's eye got big and he froze. Elena started taking off her clothes slowly trying to corner him.
Christian said freaking out, "What and he hell are you doing?! I don't fucking even know you!"
Elena ripped her panties off in one field rip and put her leg up on the bed with her legs spread. She started masturbating herself and moaning. She said in her so called seductive voice, "Come take me Christian you and I were so good together. We always were fucking like rabbits in heat. Your big dick would get so hard for me when you took my ass."
Christian looked disgustedly and said snidely, "Lady, I don't know who the fuck you think you are. I don't remember jack shit about you. I know even if I did, I wouldn't want an old wrinkled up bitch in heat like you ever! I wouldn't even fuck you with someone else's dick in your nasty asshole, because my dick is fucking hiding from your nasty ass!" He shoved her backwards out of the way on the bed and unlocked the door. He opened it and looked back at a fuming pissed off old woman. He shuddered and slammed the door. He marched out of the house to stand by the lake behind the house. He stared out across the water and tried to not throw up and calm down.
—--
The next day Christian refused to stay at his mother's house and went to his own penthouse. From time to time that woman Elena kept trying to get entry to the penthouse and calling security to let her up and calling him until he blocked her on his phone. He couldn't believe what a freak this woman was doing this to him.
He even told his company not to forward her calls to him in his sabbatical. The codes were changed on the penthouse and during that week but he gave his little sister the codes because she was bringing him a get well gift. She was so damn spoiled and cute that he couldn't say no.
—--
One day while he was resting in his living room relaxing watching TV, the elevator dinged. Christian got up and looked around the corner but didn't see anything. He shrugged and went back to sit down. He heard a noise coming from upstairs. Out of curiosity, he got up to see what the hell was going on.
Taylor walked up to him with his finger to his lips and took him to the security office. He showed him the monitor in one of the rooms Christian never saw before. It was a sex dungeon. He looked at Taylor with his eyebrows up.
Christian asked, "I have a sex dungeon?" Taylor nodded. They looked back at the monitor and there he saw it… That old woman was dressed in all leather like a dominatrix was laying on the red four poster bed masturbating herself. She kept saying, "Christian, fuck me, Christian."
He looked at Taylor and asked, "Who the hell is this woman supposed to be to me? Tell me the straight of it and why do I have a sex dungeon?"
Taylor said stoically, "You were molested by her at fifteen years old and was her submissive for six years. She taught you to beat women with long brown hair and fuck them tied up as a male sadist dominant. You stopped any sex with her for years since you were trained but she would get you women from the sex clubs that she vetted. She still wants sex from you again but I'd say itd more of an obsession. She had been manipulating you for years since you were a kid when she beat the crap out of you. Personally, I think she's gone senile and is wanting sex from you like an obsess nutjob. It seems more blatant since you lost your memory."
Christian said angrily, "Can you get her the fuck out of here and change the codes again. I only told my sister and she must have got it from her somehow. I'll talk to my sister about it later."
Christian stood in the middle of the penthouse watching Taylor and Sawyer drag Elena kicking and screaming out of the dungeon room with her black patent leather shiny trench coat.
They went down the stairs as Elena finally saw him and screamed, "How dare you, Christian! You owe me! I saved your life!"
Christian shrugs and said, "I don't remember. Stay away from me until I do." She screamed all the way into the elevator as they tossed her, the trench coat and the door closed.
