Chapter 2:- Dull Sunrise

May 5, 2020, Morning

The Burrow (outskirts of Ottery St Catchpole, River Otter, Devon County, West Country, England).

The Sun started to dip its glory in the quiet town of Ottery St. Catchpole. It was just another bright and wonderful day like the others. However, for a few, today was drowned in grief.

Molly Weasley just finished serving tea and snacks to her husband Arthur and Mr Amos Diggory. They looked alright yet in their silence they felt a painful absence.

"Oh well! "Arthur sighed. "Feel lonely when the good chap is gone.! I feel bad for the family as they have lost the father!"

"Just another tragedy to deal with! Lady Rouge is a strong woman to lose a wonderful husband. Nonetheless for the elder son Ace ... " Amos quipped.

"That boy is a crazy maverick. He may love or hate his father but he too will take it like a man. Alas, His younger brother is hit the most as he saw Roger as the coolest guy in the universe... It's been around twenty years since they came to our world! Almost all of them brought joy to the world with their iconic smiles. It's a mystery how the family and friends, we lost in the Second Wizarding War, are mysteriously reborn when the aliens came! ..I'll resume doing the chores... Ah, Sirius, Remus and Harry! Here you ...!"

The godfather and godson greeted the hosts and the other visitors. Two giants arrived at the small garden. One of them, a huge human, is well acquainted with the Weasleys and other wizards. His blue-coloured Fishman companion, smaller yet similarly gruff as well both humble and powerful, simply greeted and bowed to both the hosts and the other visitors.

"Sorry, I am late! I had a hard time picking a caretaker for my wee baby brother Grawp! He is alone and scared! " Hagrid apologised.

"He's a wonderful kid to deal with!" Boss Jimbei replied.

"By the way how's the funeral arrangements going? We don't want to scare any more poor Muggles! The Ministry is still wary as the trust between us and the people around is fragile." Arthur looks worried.

"The security arrangements from both the Whitebeard Pirates and The Red Hair Pirates are in force as we speak. Both Papa Whitebeard and Redhair Shanks have agreed to guard even though they may attend the ceremony. I'll be taking my leave as well as I need to see both Luffy and Ace! I will meet the rest of the family later, Mr & Mrs Weasley. Kindly tell the kids that I am fine and will visit them at a better time!" Jimbei departs for Roger's cottage.

"Thank you Mr . Jimbei! It's too bad not to serve him tea! He'll visit again! ... I feel bad for the Roger boys. Ace may be as crazy as Fred and George. Then that Strawhat boy Luffy, he gets on my nerves!... Too bad they lost someone irreplaceable. They may be strangers yet I am still glad they are our family!" Molly sighed.

"Oh, dear! Don't be hard on yourself! Time and Destiny have a funny yet horrible way to warn us of the fragility of Life! The Rogers saw us as their family too!" Arthur comforted his wife.

"Well, we need to get ready for the funeral services, by Merlin! " Amos sighed.

May 5, 2020, Afternoon

Dining Hall in The Burrow.

The Weasley family and their guests have their small lunch. Both Fred and George enlighten the moody atmosphere with decent pranks and jokes. Percy and Bill finished their early while parents and Amos had theirs quietly. Ginny watches over Remus, Sirius and Harry from afar in the living room.

"Yeh alright, Harry?"

"No! Just another day in another losing a good friend!.. Roger saw me as another member of his family. " Harry sighed. "He talked to me a few days before dying. Why does he have to go to Voldemort?.."

"Roger knew that he didn't want to die peacefully! Bizzare yet wild likely my brother Regulus! " Sirius replied. "Still a mystery when we got killed yet revived unknownly! Thanks to these aliens, our world got a second chance.."

"Not all, Padfoot!" Remus Lupin interrupted." Most of them like your parents and many others didn't come back after the Highlands incident. Sybill and I have been in touch with other alien teachers and researchers. Yet there would be another time about the mysteries. "

The remaining Marauders and Harry sat silently and gloomily.

Harry Potter ponders on the last words Rogers imparted to him.

May 5, 2020, Evening

Roger's Cottage (outskirts of Ottery St Catchpole, River Otter, Devon County, West Country, England).

Roger's cottage is filled with a gloomy atmosphere akin to a graveyard's. Mourners from every sphere of life, Wizards, Muggles, Aliens and a few observers from the Marines.

Far from the village, the flagships of the most powerful pirates float within a safe distance. Numerous Aurors, Pirates and Marines stand on guard to eliminate troublemakers.

Roger's body is laid in the centre of the property. His beloved wife Rogue, shed tears silently. Her son, Ace was consoled by Doctor Marco, and Sabo respectively. Sanji and Usopp served tea to the guests. Rayleigh sat nearby with many wonderful memories of his departed friend. Next to him, is the Most Mightiest Pirate that ever lived Edward Newgate and The Honorable Royal Shogun Kozuki Oden of New Nippon (Japan). The Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, along with Professor McGonagall, Severus Snape and other esteemed Wizards bring the funeral bouquets. The Strawhats Pirates ( Roroanoa Zoro, Vinsmoke Sanji, Nami, Ussop, Dr Tony Chopper, Cuty Clam Franky and The Gentleman Bones Brook) await in attending their captain. Vice Admiral Garp, Admiral Sengoku and many prominent Marines arrive for the funeral.

Far from a distance, a bell chimed sixteen times from the village chapel. It wasn't a pastor nor a deacon who rang the bell. After a few minutes of silent prayer, the young ringer with a straw hat walks, accompanied by Boss Jimbei and an old man who has a strong build. Luffy is indeed not in his usual cheery mood as his hero and godfather has departed from his world. They return to the cottage with heavy hearts and embrace the dark reality of life.

The legendary brotherly duo of Shank and Buggy the Clown got into a bitter arguement over Roger's death. Yet as soon as they saw Luffy and his acquaintances coming from the chapel, they suddenly kept silent for the day.

Near the village outpost, the police constable gave his superior updates on the funeral and its attendees. Certain Muggle ruffians want to rough up the visitors as well as harass the local folk and mourners. A gang of fifty proceeded to head towards Roger's Cottage. However, they are politely stopped by a green-hooded figure with a multiple-diamond tattoo. He smiled, requesting the gang to return kindly to their home to avoid more trouble. Too Bad for the gang, they were sent flying toward the Police Station. Meanwhile, a tall, muscular giant in a Marine uniform with an icy bicycle meets the Most Dangerous Man. Not for a fight, but a mutual understanding and heavy respect for the funeral.

Next to the village outpost, Severus Snape observes the events that happen in the village. He is still curious and cautious on the movements of the aliens and wizards.
