Part 9 - Back to School and Reactions
Weeks later it was time to get back to New Hogwarts, as New students aswell new teachers and HeadMistress to get used to have now, that Albus, Minerva and Hagrid were removed and gone from England all together, as it turns out that Minerva had left for her Scottish roots and never to be seen again from that point onwards, most likely mourning the loss of the digraced Albus and that she too felt digraced in worst way you think of being herself.
Hermione was also coming back to the school, for few days to do lessons in what she couldn't do at home, being home-schooled in America, and Michael would come with her, as their bond was not completed as of yet, as both felt that needed and was wanted to happen after marriage, so not to suffer by being too far away from each other, he came with her when he could be freed from work on those days she had to go back to Hogwarts for her classes there.
And when she came onto the train, she was accosted by Neville and Luna, who said at same time to her;
"Hermione, are you alright, and who is this with you today?"
Hermione gave a grin, and hugged the two, and said
"This is my fiancée, Michael Spears. Michael, meet two of mine friends, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood."
"Fiancée, when what how?" Hermione giggled, and said
"I will tell you in here, as we are to sit down with Harry, Sirius and Remus."
"Sirius Black?! What is he doing here?"
Both said while Neville had a scared tone, and Luna confused to curious tone in hers, and Hermione told them to come with her, she would explain better in that compartment. She and Michael sat down, and Harry had a scowl on his face, as Neville and Luna came in and sat down, and Neville looked around, and saw a black-haired man near Harry and gasped out;
"Black, get away from Harry!" And Sirius just looked over at the said boy who said that, and said
"I am free of all charges, as I was not given a trial, just tossed into a jail cell at Azkaban, I was questioned this summer under Verita, and Peter Pettigrew is the real danger, Boy, and I am not, and I am also Harry's Magical Guardian and God-Father by ritual. And also Hermione's guardian until the day she marries Michael here."
Michael gave a grin at said man, while Neville looked shocked of what he said to him, and Harry only scowled more, as Hermione shook her head, and said
"Thanks, Papa for explaining that part, and it is all truth, Nev, Luna. Michael and I met in US, for first time earlier in the summer, when something happened, that made us as close we are now today, which is engagement."
"Are you pregnant by him?!" Hermione shook her head and said
"No, but what happened is that Michael Imprinted on me, I am his intended Soul-Mate of his kind."
"Imprint what is that?" And Michael took over and that was when they heard his american accent being rather strong, but also an accent of something else in it too that they couldn't place;
"Imprinting is how we find our true mate, that will be perfect in any ways that the Imprintee in the case of this, Hermione gets to choose how our relationship will be like. In the beginning of it happened, we both choose to go with friendship, that quickly went towards what it is today, where I went down a knee shortly after what happened this summer here in UK, and - "
Hermione took over while holding her left hand up in the air;
"I happily with tears down my cheeks, and people around us cheering on, I said a thousand times yes I will marry you, Michael Adam Spears. And we shared a very happy, tearful kiss at that, while people around us as we were on a date at a resturant in the village nearby his parents' place, went wilder of cheers and clapping for our happiness. And we that same evening, floo-called Sirius, Remus and Harry of our happy news, while Siri and Remus was happy, Harry as you can see still scowling and not so happy for us, as he has feelings for me, that I can never ever return, nor did I even like him in that way. Plus he is also recovering from being potioned to love Ginerva. But she, Ronald and Molly are no more in our lives to fuck it up anymore than they already tried and done so. And Dumbledore no more controlling us either."
Both of them were in shock of what they had been told, and Harry just scowled harder with a death glare towards Hermione, that she promptly ignored for now too, and Remus and Sirius just had happy looks on their faces.
"But what is those two doing here again?" Remus took the role and said
"We are here, for we are not only your new professors in DADA, but also Heads of Gryffindor, Mr Longbottom, Ms Lovegood. It all will be revealed more when we arrive at Hogwarts later, as it will be alot of those revelations. So that is our cue to leave for the teacher's lounge, see you all later at Hogwarts. Harry, no more fighting with Malfoy, as he is the nobody and you are not to egg him on anymore either. Mione, if you need us, then send us your patronus, baby-girl."
Hermione gave a grin, while Harry just ignored and turned away for now, and Luna and Neville looked shocked at what they had heard so far.
Michael wrapped his arm around her waist, and she snuggled up closer to him, enjoying his heat that he had being a shape-shifter, and Luna said
"What are you then, Michael? That makes Hermione your mate?"
"I am a shape-shifter, my form is of a very big wolf of 10 feet, and now in Human form, I stand at 7 feet."
"Woah, that is really big, and how can you even live?"
"I do for it is a part of me, a part of my descendant lines, as I am not only one in my family. Even my sister is a wolf like us her brothers and our parents are also, though they both chose recently stop their phasing, so they could start aging and grow old together. Which I am very happy to know and hear, as I know my parents are done being a shifter, and wants to be around their grand-children even great-grand children one day."
Hermione just smiled and stroked his chin, and he looked down at her with his own brilliant smile, and others gapped at the sight, while Harry just growled under his breath, and Michael gave out a warning growl back hearing it, and Harry jumped as he didn't think he would hear it, but apparently he did, and was furious that this Michael had taken what he felt was his first.
Hours later, a voice told them that they were nearing the Hogsmead's station, and to be ready to leave within the 5 minutes range, and leave their luggages behind, as elves would take it for them up to Hogwarts and then to their new rooms at Hogwarts for the new addition of students.
Hermione had already at this time, changed into her uniform, and she helped Michael with his, as he needed a modified version to fit him, and he grinned and kissed her happily after they were done, and Harry had gone out to put his one, and he also made sure to make Malfoy more furious with himself and all that stuff.
Hermione was also the assigned Prefect of their year, and her counterpart of a Male, was chosen to be Dean Thomas who had been kind towards her and Michael, and asked him alot of questions, that Michael had no issues to answer and ask himself of the said boy either.
Seamus met up with them outside the train, and Dean had told him about the two, for he gave Hermione a happy hug and congratulations and shook Michael's hand happily.
Others were staring and wondering why another giant was with them, and at Hermione's side too.
